First time at this location today. Was seated and my soda was dropped off right away. I then waited and waited for my order to be taken. It was 11:10, they had just opened, so not super busy. Waitress finally took my order. Took awhile for my single item to arrive and I was underwhelmed. $4.00 to add lettuce, tomato, and a scare amount of sour cream? Won't do that again and not sure if I'll be back. read more

Overpriced, small portions, boring drinks, and they cant cook. Im a long time fan of the Diamond Hill La Loma and was sad to see it torn down. I was excited when they opened the store in Castle Rock and my dining experience there was excellent. Today I stopped at the Parker La Loma and was very disappointed. The service trainee was very good, the food presentation was lovely (tiny portions but nicely presented), but their food was sad. The other surprise was the booths. They went with lovely copper tops on booths and tables and the overall ambiance was very pleasant but the booths were surprisingly uncomfortable. I moved to a table. My goto order at a first time mexican restaurant is usually an enchilada, burrito, and chile relleno. The cheese and onion enchilada had a decent red sauce but no onions and hard to find the cheese, the tiny burrito tasted like flour (like an uncooked tortilla) and the green chile was bland and watery. I didn't even bother with the tiny undercooked and not crispy relleno. The Mexican food I ordered isn't hard to prepare and when charging high prices for small potions the food better be very good. My $65 meal (food, drink, tip) was a highly anticipated but disappointing dining experience. Unfortunately with the model they seem to be selling they will only survive on reputation for a short while. Particularly with several superior competitors nearby. read more

We've tried to eat here several times but they always have very long wait times or no reservations available on short notice. We arrived 30 minutes before closing but they were awesome! Our server Sunny was terrific! The food was as good as advertised! Salsa is delicious and the chips are thin and warm and crispy. They recently changed names but the Menu is the same! Glad we were able to finally make it! Thanks for not treating us like we were an inconvenience even close to closing time! We will return! read more

Went for Happy Hour recently with a friend who lives nearby and was sat at the bar. The service was incredibly sub par. Our tacos off the HH menu were burnt shells. Does this place have an expo or kitchen manager to spot check this? For the prices, you'd think this place would have it together. Given how staff at other locations talk about the poor mgmt, Id rather go to Chuy's. At least their tacos are consistent. read more

Hi La Loma, happy to see you in a new location and so close to home! Unfortunately, I don't believe you were prepared for the new business and our visit was disappointing! At 3:35 pm were sat and at 3:45 we finally asked for a waitstaff to serve us water! It only went downhill after this! Appetizers and Dinner served together , our drinks we were told were delayed due to a morning shift change to evenings. Dinner was wrong so we sent back and when we did receive it....it was cold and wrong again! Gheezzzz we really wanted to have a happy hour catching up and great dinner! When we finally saw our waitstaff i asked for a glass of wine and hot tortillas, but only the wine came 10 mins later!!! Needless to say, we are (we hope) going to pack our dinner and go home, heat up our store bought tortillas left in the fridge, and try to finish the longest, coldest, wrongest meal we have ever had!!!! Sorry we might think about coming back some year! read more

Thank you La Loma, Parker for a wonderful dining experience! The hostess greeted us with a smile and sat us quickly. Chips and the delicious salsa were immediately brought to our table. Our drinks followed shortly. Our server Ashley introduced herself with a smile. I ordered the chili relleno which was very tasty. Not too spicy. Our server made sure our drinks were refreshed and that our order was to our liking. Great to have a restaurant that serves authentic tasting cuisine, great service and and a charming ambiance. We will definitely dine at La Loma, Parker again. read more

Celebrated a late Mother's Day at the new La Loma in Parker, and it exceeded expectations. The ambiance was classy and well laid out. The service was excellent and our waiter was pleasant, knowledgable, and provided timely service and follow up. The food was awesome. I really liked my Diablo margarita, and the green chile plate was super delicious; the green chile tasted like a warm, spicy hug in a bowl. It was smooth, not overly salted and had good flavor. My mom really liked her flautas, too. We threw the staff a curveball when we walked in and asked to be seated near an electrical outlet, if possible, to plug in my mom's portable oxygen machine and they went out of their way to accommodate, which was thoughtful. I will definitely be back for the delicious food, great hospitality, and good ambiance. So glad it finally opened, it was worth the wait! read more

Corey was a fantastic server and the ambiance was great. My only gripe was the cost of guacamole, but otherwise it was fantastic.

So disappointing! It started with the queso. It tasted like a very average cheese sauce! The salsa had a marinara flavor to it that made it inedible for me. Both came in incredibly small bowls, barely enough for three people and there were four in our party. Two people ordered shrimp. Both meals were barely warm, the shrimp was rubbery with terrible flavor, completely bland. The other two meals were enchiladas. Again both meals were cold and the enchiladas were very small. The enchilada sauce would have been better out of a store bought can! From the disappointingly small menu to the VERY SMALL servings to the completely awful food all at exorbitant prices, this place is the biggest disappointment in Parker Colorado. Our server was excellent so I guess the one star goes to him. Don't waste your time and a lot of money at La Loma Parker. There are plenty of excellent Mexican restaurants in the Denver area that serve quality, delicious food without charging an arm and a leg! We will never set foot in La Loma, Parker again! P.S. I am writing this review at 3:38am as I wait for antacid medication to kick in. The food was so bad it gave me terrible indigestion. I didn't even eat half of my meal! We've been to at least two other La Lomas and had no worse than good experiences. This La Loma was terrible. Once we got seated it took server 15 mins to get to table. Drink service took over half an hour and were just ok at best, gross at worst. Bartender(s) could not follow requests for salted or unsalted rims. Finally ordered app it took a half an hour to arrive. Dishes provided to enjoy app were still dirty with food and server was nowhere to be found to request replacements. Had to snag bus boy as he zoomed by. Entrees, when we finally ordered took nearly an hour to get to table. Food quality was ok at best best and dry and bland at worst. Rice had zero flavor. Refried beans were mediocre. Black beans are tasteless. Chicken was dry, bland, and tough. Then, server could not get tab right and over charged us. Tried to charge $12 for a taco from the choose two menu. That made the entree $29. When pointed out took off $4. Two item on menu $19. No offer was made to, for instance, take 10% off for the service and food issues. Would NOT recommend this spot. If you must go to La Loma, go to Castle Rock or Highlands Ranch locations. MANY issues still to work out. Definitely won't be back here for at least a year. read more

An extremely disappointing experience. The food was mediocre at best. I had the chicken chimichangas. They were so dry and tasteless. The green chili is supposedly one of the things that this place is known for. I found it to be more the consistency of green pea soup. It also has an aftertaste that I didn't care for. The biggest disappointment was the Cadillac Margarita that I ordered. What I got was a glass filled to the top with ice with hardly any of the actual cocktail. A Cadillac margarita is supposed to be made with Grand Marnier or Triple Sec. Neither could be found in this particular top shelf version of a Mexican classic In fact, I think what I got was a watered down version consisting of Margarita mix and a bit of extra lime juice. I didn't even get a buzz, so I doubt that there was any tequila in this drink. The worst part was that they have the audacity to charge $18 for this !!!!!! No thanks. I won't be returning here again. There are much better choices for Mexican food in the metro Denver area. read more

Went there Saturday. five young girls greeting at the entrance they were tripping all over themselves. I ordered brisket tacos, and my wife ordered brisket chimichangas. I have been hearing about La Loma (the Castle Rock location) and have heard nothing but praise and good things. I was very excited to FINALLY try the Parker location after all the goods things I have heard. Extremely disappointing. The food was abysmal. We had "mini chili rellenos" to start. They were essentially egg rolls with so much deep fried cheese it was stomach churning and the tiniest bit of "green chili". Their famous green chili was disgusting. It's mild green chili in a thick viscous gravy and pork, bland and gross. I had the tacos which were bland bland bland. My husband had a chili relleno and I was absolutely disgusted! A chili relleno is a spicy green chili stuffed with cheese, battered, deep fried and smothered in a red or green chili. What they served was a chimichanga, and a bad one at that. It was a tortilla rolled with a POUND of cheese, a thin sliver of green chili and then deep fried. Gross. I would NEVER go back and suggest everyone stay away. read more

We have tried this location twice, opening and last night, we want it a frozen margs but the frozen marg machine still not ready bummer, We had the cadillac and the skinny to start with a side of guacamole but they charged for the full guacamole dip at $14.00 maybe they do not have sides? waitress nice but was not writing nothing so she messed up our food and order and drink order ( the palest ink is better than the brightest mind) second round of drinks we switched from skinny marg to paloma she brought house marg , I ordered the street carnita tacos she brought steak, food is just ok maybe I am picky but luke warm food is never acceptable in my opinion, people are nice but clueless writing orders is 101in this business , I saw a couple of managers walking around in their blazers looking spiffy but not once did they approach any of the patrons they should be on top of all mistakes trying to put out fires, which they have a blaze on their hands and to be honest they looked overwhelmed and where is the matriarch Hopi who is a great leader but she is only in charge of hiring ?? She should be the first one on the floor leading her (hires) troops not hiding behind a desk "hiring" or maybe her heart is somewhere else already, it's just a shame because a lot of people depend on a restaurant. I end up aying 140 and still left a $30.00 bill , I do not mind paying high prices when food and service are good but I felt robbed last night!! read more
