Odale, this coffee cart is headed for greatness, with their Spanish Latte alone, makes me want to come here every morning. It's full flavored, smokey, hint of cinnamon and when I took my first drink, I could hear the sound of mariachis in the background. Ok, that wasn't true but it should be, as good as the coffee drinks are. Customer service was engaged, kind and had mad barista skills. Can't wait to return, gracias La Lucha Coffee. All & All ; no extra charge for oat milk and it's their default, I didn't see a size choice, also a local Latino owned business. read more

While visiting Portland, I wanted to try as many coffee shops as I could in Portland. This one was close to our Sunday morning activities so I decided to check it out! I ordered the Spanish latte and it was delicious! After trying over 15 coffee shops in Portland, La Lucha's Spanish latte was my second favorite coffee shop and drink that I had during my time there. I spoke with Braulio who was making the drinks and gave me some menu recommendations. I learned that he had formerly owned a coffee shop in CA and gave that up when he moved to Oregon. I think with it being a cart, it looks like you might be getting a beginners cafe, but don't be fooled, Braulio knows what he's doing with coffee and the drinks he serves! My friend that is a local to Portland also loved her cappuccino from La Lucha and we definitely told our friends about this place! Make this spot your next coffee to try out in the area! read more

We were waiting for a table at a popular brunch spot a couple of blocks away and I knew I needed a good latte to hold me over. It was pouring rain but we decided to make the trek anyway and I'm so glad we did! This is a cute cart that pops up in a winery. The place was absolutely buzzing! There was also a pastry pop up and they looked amazing. We didn't get anything because we were about to have brunch, but I would totally come back for a latte and pastry. I went with the Spanish latte because it seemed like the way to go and it was. It was the perfect sweetness, rich, delicious, and you could taste the hint of cinnamon. They definitely know what they are doing here and seem to take a lot of pride in their craft. It seems like the only way you could go wrong is by not coming! Give them a try!! read more

Great vibe! Small place, and a little bit on the cold side indoors (might consider lowering the big garage door in mid December). But the cortado I had was great, and the music selection was unique and fun. read more

This place was great! It is a little cart inside what looked like a wine bar by night (sorry if that's incorrect). Very minimal, but the coffee was top notch and the quality of the latte's were amazing. I always like a simple but great coffee place and La Lucha fits that description. Definitely will be back when we are back in PDX. read more

La Lucha serves the Horchata Latte I've been dreaming about. Not too sweet but packed with flavor. I am falling in love with the taste of the espresso on the first sip. Great pop up shop! Simple, easy menu with their own coffee. Love their cappuccino. Got to chat with the barista and was really cool to hear they're trying to grow the business to support and source good beans. Nice place to chill in the morning, plenty of room. Hopefully they get their logo on their cups soon it's a cool one! read more

This is a place I go if I want a special treat that Braulio has invented and offering for just one day, or if I want a reliably good espresso to enjoy while reading a book in the airy but comfortable atmosphere. I keep an eye on the shop's Insta just to see what new drinks are ok offer! read more

A coffee cart in a wine bar with Latino culture sprinkled on it is already sounding like a winning combo in my book, and this place was just as good as I hoped. I was visiting Portland and wanted coffee. I randomly saw this place nearby on Google maps and gave it a try. The place is a cute pop up located in a bar. I tried the Spanish latte and my boyfriend tried the iced Spanish latte. It was really good and probably the best coffee of the trip so far. It was sweet and cinnamony but not overwhelmingly so. Even my boyfriend who doesn't like coffee that much enjoyed it. I would go back if I return to Portland. read more

So happy we tried out La Lucha. Super nice staff and good vibe inside of Enso winery. I was excited to find most of the baked goods were vegan. I tried an oat Mexican Hot Chocolate and a piece of coffee cake - so good! My friends said their coffees were excellent. We will most definitely be back. read more

I can't stop ordering the Mexican Mocha. It's not too sweet and has an orange essence that literally makes the drink from a 9 to an 11/10. I was happy to see that oat milk is the default "dairy" used so there's no extra charge for the dairy intolerant/sensitive girlies. The spot has great coworking vibes too! Chill space with big tables to spread out at. I bring my travel monitor so I can post up for a couple hours. The owner of La Lucha really loves the movie Nacho Libre and has put the hilarious stickers on the cups. Such a unique and fun touch! read more

Mexican inspired coffee cart inside Enso Winery in southeast. Just opened up a week ago. It's an excellent spot to work for a few hours or grab a latte to go. Lots of seating. Lots of plants. Strong WiFi. Great natural lighting. I had a chance to talk to the owner. Super friendly guy. He apparently quit his soul-sucking corporate job to pursue his passion for Mexican inspired coffee drinks. Really cool story. I ordered the horchata latte. Holy smokes. It's life changing. I haven't tried the other drinks yet but they look delicious. Apparently some are topped with a spritz of orange extract? Love the attention to detail. Amazing! Such a wonderful atmosphere and even better coffee. This special coffee cart serving up Mexican inspired drinks is located inside Enso winery and has great seating to get a little work done or just relax and enjoy your drink. I had the horchata latte. She let me sample a tiny amount of the strawberry uber syrup and lavender to make my decision and it helped. I ended up getting and iced lavender matcha and didn't regret it at all. It's been hard for me to find good matcha in Portland and they didn't disappoint. The syrup was blended in well. The flavor of the matcha wasn't too grassy, bitter or powdery. I'm sad it's a seasonal drink because I'll Miss it. I also got an almond croissant, which was good but not mind blowing. I think I'll try the banana bread next time. My only negative feedback for the team is regarding cleanliness. The windows are often smudgy. Sometimes the tables have food debris on them. And the bathroom could use more routine checks for TP, soap and general tidiness. I will keep going here as long as the matcha is fresh and the employees are kind!

I read the bad reviews and went in with trepidation thinking maybe they don't know how to extract or be a competent barista but gosh it's just people not having an informed palate and dissing the establishment over a flavor note. So the service is great they do not ask sizes for a cap breve, which is the first sign they know what they're doing, and it was an adeptly made proper cappuccino, not my favorite notes but that's my problem not theirs. Ambiance is great, loved their minimalist wire decor.
