Great little bakery and cafe! Walking in you are greeted with such a pleasant aroma. One of those aromas that bring back childhood memories! The person behind the counter was super kind as well. I came for a pick up order. Tamales and a burrito. Upon going in though, I had to get some bakery items to go as well. Just a great little hole in the wall that will not disappoint! Tamales were great! Moist inside and out! Will be going back for more soon!

We came here for the funnel cake and we were not disappointed. It was prepared really well and sprinkled with powdered sugar then covered in chocolate, strawberries and whipped cream. The frappe was delicious and the pan dulce and other desserts are perfect and affordable. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and quiet. Everything you're looking for in a hole-in-the-wall Mexican bakery. Loved it!!

I needed something for mine and my husband's annual holiday party so I stopped by for some pan dulce. It was our first time. We wanted to try tamales, but we will have to try next time. It's on the Northwest side of Fresno and Clinton. Upon arrival, there was no parking spot so I just randomly parked my car. We always have a lot of baked goods at our holiday party so I picked six, the concha, the piggie, the coconut roll, the empanada, the croissant and I believe a second concha which added up to about $9. My husband and I shared the croissant and it was so flavorful and soft. I want to return to try the tamales. I think if they offered more coffee options, it would be a hit!!

Returned here for some pan dulce and saw that they serve menudo. Served with onion, cilantro, oregano, and home made corn tortillas. Definitely worth trying. The women that work here are always friendly and service is quick. The atmosphere w

DELICIOUS white ham breakfast burrito, cream donut & coconut flatbread 1/2 x3!

6/24/23 Getting breakfast for tomorrow'! Egg white breakfast burrito with ham & jalapeños added. Hot sauce added as well. The worker was kind and said they were very busy and it would be ready in 30 minutes. I went in by then..... Greeted by a very nice granny and she was happy do help and recommend sweets to go with it. The breakfast burrito was already ready. I ended up getting the recommended cream donut and a coconut pastry? Not sure the exact name of it, but it looks good! Checked out with well wishes! Appreciated! =) 6/25/23 Got breakfast ready per usual. Everything split. The egg white ham breakfast burrito 1/2 was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Cheesy, with a perfect amount of potatoes, ham and the jalapeños added made it even better! More spicy with the great hot sauce too! The cream donut half was Delicious! Heated making it even better! Sugary sweetness with great flavor! The coconut "pastry" or "flatbread" was really great! Flavorful with a sweet coconut flavor! Leftovers too! I'm sure mother will feel the same when she wakes up to have hers! Good service and Really Great, delicious breakfast! Highly recommended!

    Chicken I think?

Old food and stale bread that is rock hard and overpriced. I came here once before for some bolillo but it was hard and old. I figured it was just a bad day and they had it from the day before. Today, me and my wife decided to give them another try and ordered two tortas; one cubana and one milanesa. While I was in there I decided what the heck and bought 3 pieces of bread. Total came out to $35.65 which at first seemed a little steep but I figured the food would be well worth it. Once I got home we discovered 2/3 breads were ROCK SOLID! We coukd literally knock on the muffin like a dang door. They tasted old and dry like they had been sitting for some time. Now the tortas looked great. . . at first. Until I was a couple bites in and tasted the meat. I opened my torta and found the meat was even older than the bread and had even began to lose its color and it left a sour taste on my tongue. I really hate to shoot down a local mom and pop like this, but it also isnt right as a consumer spending money in places that serve this kind of stuff and charge so much.

    Cubana torrrrta!
    Jose R.

Passed by a million times and finally decided to try it out. Came on yelp and seen the pics of the Cubana so I got 1 for lunch and boy was that the right choice! Called it in picked it up in now time and was diving in to possibly one of the most delicious cabanas I've ever had! Fresh soft bread jammed with all the delicious meats these have inside.and the Oaxaca cheese on top! Must try this out maybe next time I'll try some different

High quality bolillo. Brought a tear to my eye finally seeing this now unicorn of bread. Perfect for tortas ahogadas!
    Eddie H.

Have enjoyed their breakfast burritos and bread. I like that they focus on the quality of the bread not just quantity. Went by the other weekend and they had the best bolillo bread I've had in a decade. It was just all up against the wall like no big deal. That alone is 5 stars. Most Torta bread sold in stores 5 for a dollar is incredibly terrible.

    Carne Asada Nachos with everything
    Kimberly M.

First time, went in on a Sunday evening, one customer arrived when we did. We ordered and waited forever for our food. Two single customers went in during that time so not too busy. The food looked great but the asada meat was filled with nerves, very unpleasant to eat. The sour cream was rancid! Complete let down. The bread was fine but expensive. We didn't buy much of it and it was 7.50! That's way more than what I'm used to paying at the Estrella. I will not be returning. I live near Fresno City, and been wanting to try this place. But between extremely long wait, the quality of the cooked food and the price of the bread, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Absolutely horrible. The bread was hard, considering I paid 3 dollars. The place is too overpriced for something simple. I do NOT recommend.

The food is always hot, the service is excellent, and the staff does a great job keeping everything running smoothly. Jus' Jo's is located in Clovis off Shaw Avenue. If you don't know where it is, you could easily drive right past it since there's no prominent street sign, but it's a well-known local favorite. Depending on the day and time, there can be a wait, which says a lot about its popularity. I was recently asked to write a review about this place, and honestly, I didn't have anything negative to say. I usually order the Farmer's Special Breakfast Sandwich, which comes with ham, bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and mayo on sourdough bread. It's an awesome breakfast sandwich and one of my go-to orders. Today, however, I decided to ignore my diabetes for a moment and try their famous half cinnamon roll French toast. Wow. It was crispy, buttery, topped with powdered sugar, and absolutely delicious. I actually had to stop myself from eating the whole thing. It was my first time trying it, and it definitely won't be my last. The coffee was great, and they kept my cup full the entire meal. One thing I've noticed is that many of the waitresses seem to have worked here for years, which speaks to the quality of the restaurant. They're experienced, attentive, and always on top of their service, so be prepared to leave a good tip--they earn it. If you're looking for a great breakfast or lunch spot in Clovis, Jus' Jo's is definitely worth a visit. Great food, great service, and a consistently enjoyable experience.

Everyone was so nice, Jessica…read moreespecially was super attentive, our coffees were always full, our food came out at a decent time and it was still nice and hot and she was so friendly throughout our time here, so Jessica if you ever see this, Thank you so much, we appreciate you! We happened to be in the area today with a failed trip to Lithia Ford for a car repair. We both were hungry and needed to choose between breakfast or Mexican food, we flipped a coin and the coin chose breakfast. I'm glad it did, cause right when we were heading towards another breakfast spot, we made the quick decision to just choose what was nearby. It's a restaurant name we've heard of, but haven't been, so we opted to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Because the food was amazing and the service just as much! Parking lot was full but not too crazy, that luckily came after we were seated. Inside was nicely themed to Louisiana Bayou with gators and cute signs with quotes and a big tree in the seating area with sound effects of bugs from the swamp. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a nice greeting from one of the busy waitresses who let us know we would be seated in a moment. Our server Jessica came up with a smile and a warm welcome and had us follow her to our booth. We both started off with coffee and browsed the menu, this menu had some usual fair but definitely stayed in the theme of the restaurant with Louisiana cuisine, like andouille sausage as a breakfast meat choice. I went with their "Hucks Platter" which is 3 eggs anyway you want, choice of potatoes or hashbrowns and you can choose between a couple varieties of meats, steak, chicken fried steak, sausage, bacon and andouille. It also comes with a choice of side, being toast, homemade biscuit or their huckleberry bread? I played it safe and went with the white toast. I also went with the bacon cause I love me some bacon! It was hickory smoked and my goodness it was cooked to perfection! My whole meal was cooked perfectly! I truly appreciate the cooking staff for doing such an amazing job during a busy morning. Jess chose the Banana Foster French Toast and my goodness! It looked just as good if not better than the picture. It was loaded, thick and comes with a side of eggs and your choice of meat. She loved the French toast, she's never had Bananas Foster before but she said it was decadent, sweet and had a nice caramelized flavor. Would recommend and also get it again! We paid, "with tip" around $57, which isn't bad for most breakfast spots now a days. Especially when you're getting this kind of food quality and service. We never went without a fresh hot cup of coffee and a nice check in from Jess or one of the other servers to pick up a plate or ask us how we're doing. I do apologize for no pictures, when the food came out, it looked so good we just dug right in! We both would absolutely come back and eat here again if we're in the area or back in Fresno looking for a breakfast spot. If you're in and or from here, you should definitely make this your go-to breakfast spot!

No reservation so we waited a good amount of time but it wasn't so long that it was unbearable. Very cute waiting area. I didn't expect it to look as... modern? as it did? I'm not sure what I expected it to look like but it was nice inside. Staff was suuuper friendly. Every single one we spoke to. Considering how busy they were (constant flow of traffic/customers)... I appreciate that they can still smile and make you feel welcomed. I ordered the OG French Toast, my niece got the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich on a Croissant. I can't remember what my friends ordered. Portions are very good. We could have easily split a plate (my niece and I) and be okay. Classic American breakfast. Everything was good/satisfying. We all enjoyed our meals. I also got their Brown Butter Iced Coffee-- saw one of the guys that worked there drinking one behind the counter and asked what it was, lol. I can't say it was the best coffee drink I've ever had but it was still pretty good. Not strong though. Though I've written a raving review, when it comes down to the food, it's not the best breakfast I've had around Fresno. It would not be a first choice for me personally but I also wouldn't mind coming back if my friends wanted to. Plus, there's so much more to try on their menu so it's not fair to judge overall food off one visit. For now, they are a solid 4.
