I tried the Vanilla Raspado (shaved ice) and the Nachos. The shaved ice was perfectly thin, and the vanilla syrup had just the right amount of sweetness. The nachos were also a hit; warm cheese and fresh jalapeños. The shop is super clean with indoor seating. Shout out to Anahi for being so friendly and helping me navigate the menu. I had to force myself to put the container in the back of the freezer so I wouldn't eat the whole thing in one sitting! The service was quick and very friendly. The server seemed genuinely delighted to describe the ingredients in each flavor that interested me. My only wish is that they had someplace to sit down and enjoy the ice cream. There is only a service window and it's up to the customer to find some place to sit. Eating my cone in the car on a nice day like today wasn't so bad, but I wouldn't want to have to do it in the heat of summer. I'm glad that Handel's is way over on the other side of town, or I would be there every day working my way through the menu.

For the prices, I expected much better packaging and consistency, especially for delivery orders. Unfortunately, this experience makes me question the recent quality at this location.

They offer many ice cream flavors including rotating monthly flavors, pre-packed ice cream, ice cream bars and sundaes, ice cream cakes, and frozen beverages. The employees work hard here and are always helpful. I also like that they keep any ice cream with nuts altogether in its own section of the display case. They have a couple tables inside the store, as well as outside. My most favorite BR flavor was Beach Day, which came out last summer (July 2024). It is Salted Vanilla-Flavored Ice Cream with Milk Chocolate flavored Caramel-Filled Sea Turtles - the absolute best and I wish they would bring it back. My next favorites are a tie between Gold Medal Ribbon and plain Jamocha. I would love to see the plain Jamocha offered as a pre-packed quart. This shop is usually pretty clean when I come in, too. Overall, great place to visit when you're craving some classic ice cream in any season, rain or shine!
