My husband just took me here and it was very good! Although when I went there yesterday (a Tuesday) I saw a sign that said "Tuesday special" but the rest was in Spanish so I had no idea what the special was. But when I ordered, I was pleased that they all spoke English as well! My husband has been to two other locations and he said this is the only one that has English speakers too. So , so far I haven't had any problems. I look forward to trying something new next time from the menu. Lots of options! Just wish they would be in English as well. The first thing I noticed is the cleanliness of the place and I had no complaints. The lady behind the counter was real nice and I could tell English was not her first language, which may make it seem she is rude but she isn't. She let us have a few samples for example the Mazapan and Tequila ice creams.. I opted for walnut..very delicious my daughter had the Oreos and mint ice cream and she gobbled that quickly. Very clean, and the staff is fresh faced youngsters. Which I find more hospitable to an older more exhausted worker, I know it can't be easy working here. There are so many flavored to memorize! And the staff is so patient letting customers try so many different samples. There are a lot of authentic Mexican flavors offered here. And the combo of scoops is very proportionate, I get 2/3 scoops and find that perfect to share with my husband. The creamy flavors, versus the water flavors is deliciously difficult to decide on! I don't understand how people have been giving this place bad reviews. The ladies that work there are always so friendly. They are all BILINGUAL (English and Spanish) so I don't understand why people say you have to speak Spanish to be able to communicate with them. As for the corn in a cup with hot cheetos, yes they do offer it but it's different from the one on the picture they have. The one in the picture has chili powder (which is how it's traditionally made). I've had both and they're both really good. Their portions are really big and the ladies that work there have mentioned that all the ice cream is made fresh in the back. A+ on my behalf. Don't waste your time and money at this location. Went in on Monday and they had the worst customer service, they looked bothered that we were there. I asked the lady if she could make us a corn in a cup with hot cheetos, she seemed like she had no idea what I was talking about so I showed her a photo to reference on, the picture I showed her was posted on one of la michoacanas Instagram accounts and she agreed to make it since they had the ingredients (obviously, you guys already have corn in a cup, all she had to add was the cheetos crumbs) she began making it and then her kid or whatever came out from the back and she just left in the middle of making our esquites, she was gone for a few minutes and I found it very rude and unprofessional, she could have told him to hang on a little while she finished our food but instead, they left it on the counter where a fly could've shit in it or something lol. That's besides the point, when she was finally done with what we ordered, it looked like a complete joke!! She didn't even crush the hot cheetos like how it was in the picture, she literally just poured half the bag into the cup. I ended up paying $14 for two esquites that were the opposite of how I asked for them. I was so angry I just wanted to flip the fucking cup in her face, ughhhhhh!!!!!
