Despite the size, they had 30 different types of breads, mostly classics, but smaller amounts than other panaderias. I purchased 6 breads and it was $12 and some change. I saw their prices on the wall and most average $1.50. The place looks homey, and I noticed it has regular customers. I was surprised by the mango empanadas so I got one for my husband and he was disappointed it didn't taste fresh. I also picked an unusual one that looks similar to the cuerno and it was on the harder side. The panaderos are from Michoacan which is close to Guanajuato so the bread was similar to that of GTO. IYKYK! The cuernos, both the sugary ones and unsweetened ones (cuerno de sal) were soft and delicious. Otherwise, I will probably stick to my fave (3 Hermanos).

Today I've had it. They lost a long time customer. I ordered 7 desserts and some fries. I was given 1 cupholder. So as I'm trying to organize everything I get handed my last dessert and window was immediately shut. I turn to go to my car and one of the desserts drops to the ground. I told the lady what happened and she asks if I want another one to which I said yes. I take everything to my car, come back and clean up the mess and I stand there to wait. The lady tells me "that will be $6+" and I'm like are you serious? I didn't even walk away. She responded by saying "well, the girl handed it to you didn't she" By this time I was done .. I said look of this came out your paycheck I would feel bad, but offer me another cupholder instead of slamming the window on me. She argued again and called the manager. The manager requested I pay $3. And I said no and asked to speak to him. I told him what happened and he tells me "you don't have to explain" but I did in fact have to because he was going to charge me too. In the end I was given my item. And I thanked them. But to argue over 1 spilled item due to not being given proper tools to carry my food is crazy. To call a manager and stall the line to argue over it is even more crazy. I'm just done making excuses for their staff. I always try my best to be kind. It was an accident. These things happen. But to expect a customer to pay for another item when they didn't even get to enjoy the first one is bad. Do better.
