It's set in such a random spot in Santa Ana. It's so cute though. The coffee and matcha here is pretty good .

This place is beautiful! The service was incredible! They were super sweet and helpful! I tried the horchata cold brew and the cafe de olla. I wasn't a big fan of the horchata cold brew. It was okay but felt like my drink had a bunch of little things in it. Made it a little hard to drink. The cafe de olla on the other hand was very yummy but a little too sweet for my liking. The bread on the other hand was great! The banana bread was perfect! Not too sweet

Delicious drinks, friendly staff, and cute exterior decor! We ordered the Moctezuma without milk and fresas con crema matcha drinks. We asked if we could to refill our water bottles and the barista was helpful. Outdoor shaded sitting area available. Street parking on weekend. We were warned by others to be careful to only park in places that do not have a no parking sign - the city will get ticket you Monday through Friday.

Found this spot on Yelp earlier this morning and decided to go straight after work. They're open at 7AM away from other businesses which is always a plus. Here's what I ordered: **Cafe de Olla (Iced): The flavor profile for this drink was spot on. I could taste the sweet, spice, and earthy notes. The balance was pretty good and not overpowering at all. (4/5) **Horchata Cold Brew: I honestly think they forgot the cold brew. All I tasted was water infused with cinnamon powder. (0/5) **Fresas Con Crema Matcha: Opted out for oat milk which I believe is free of charge. The matcha portion was decent but the standout of the drink was the strawberry puree. None of the flavors were overpowering over the other. (3.5/5) I was initially reeled in to this spot because of all the plants set up everywhere. They have everything from succulents to bigger plants up for sale. There's a nice little shaded seating area with a few tables. Service was decent and my drinks came out fairly quick even though the person in front of me had a fairly large order including a complete sellout (20) of all of their sweet empanadas so I wasn't able to try any for myself. As far as the Horchata Cold Brew goes, maybe it was a bad day for them or lack of knowledge with the recipe so I'll give them a pass since they are still quite new. The unmarked lane right in front of the entrance says no stopping at any time but people still park there anyways. There's plenty of parking on the streets by the residential area so that won't be a problem.

La Milpa is an absolute gem! It's a unique, Mexican-owned cafe located inside the "La Colmena" community garden co-op. Their artisan coffee and matcha use fresh ingredients straight from the garden. It's the perfect, peaceful escape from a busy day.

    CAFE DE OLLA

Hidden gem in Santa Ana! I got the cold CAFE DE OLLA with vanilla foam, which was perfectly spiced with cinnamon. The owner was very friendly so I highly recommend this place if you're craving an authentic coffee experience :)

Such a beautiful coffee spot. Service was bleh with the girl not being too engaging. Menu is very limited which limits this type of business flourishing. Cafe de olla iced - very good. Didn't need sweeter or milk just overall good. The mocha was awful - it's a specialty type of cacao but it didn't have a smooth flavor with the coffee.

Omg! Mi gente lo sabe hacer! Strawberry matcha has been the best thus far! I am not exaggerating on this I have been on a journey al through OC to find one that has a "love" flavor and this one does. 10/10 would recommend. The ambiance give beautiful Mexico vibes and the richness of my culture! Love it here

This place is an absolute inspiration. Everything is so thoughtfully made. I stopped here for a coffee & pastry. The pineapple pastry I got was delicious. I also got a cinnamon caffe de olla. I am not a sweet coffee person but this was tasty. The service was friendly and fast. What these folks have done with this property is incredible! Full working edible gardens, plants for sale, local organic produce, teas & herbs and specialty items for sale as well as fabric art from an artisan. Absolutely gorgeous. The world needs more places like this. I don't want to leave. if you're in the area please please stop by and just take a relaxing breath and treat yourself to something tasty and feast your eyes on the beauty of the garden. It's lovely. They also have bike parking!

This place is so cute! there's a little garden and you can buy fresh organic produce and herbs. the frescas con crema matcha was super yummy and we want to come back to try some of the pastries they have.

Solid little coffee shop in an absolutely beautiful little land co-op that gives back to the city. As far as the coffee we got the Moctezuma and honestly it was quite a bit too sweet and gritty for me but my husband really loved it a lot and says it's one of his new faves. Our son had a giant chocolate chip cookie that was to die for. The girl working the counter was super sweet and helpful. We'll likely be back to enjoy the beautiful garden and awesome vibes.

First time here and I'm in love! The empanada de dulce and the horchata cold brew were delicious. Pair those with an open seating area surrounded with plants, flowers, and beautiful art!! Can't wait to return next weekend

It has such a unique vibe. It's located around Downtown Santa Ana, and the sign isn't very big, so it can be a little hard to find. Honestly, I'm glad I came with my friends because if I had come by myself, I probably would have missed it and gone home. The atmosphere is definitely different from your typical Orange County coffee shop. I heard the owners are from New York, and I think you can feel that influence. It has a very urban, sophisticated feel, but at the same time, there's something warm yet slightly cool and edgy about the space. It's hard to explain, but it has a personality of its own. The coffee bar is completely open, so you can watch the baristas make your drink and see every little movement they make. I wanted to try so many things on the menu, but I had already had two cups of coffee that day, so I decided to go with matcha instead. What really impressed me was how detailed they were when taking my order. They asked about the sweetness level, syrup options, type of milk, and even the type of cup I wanted. Since I was staying to enjoy my drink there, they served my matcha in a beautiful glass. And watching them make the matcha right in front of me was such a treat. It wasn't just some sweet matcha powder mixed with milk. You could really taste the quality of the matcha, and the drink was clean, smooth, and delicious. Santa Ana is a little far from my home, so I don't come here very often. But this place made me want to come back someday, take my time, and just enjoy a cup of matcha without rushing. Definitely a place with its own character. Would I come back? 100% YES.

I believe their espresso leans toward a lighter roast, coming through bright and expressive, while the milk drinks are dialed in with that smooth, silky texture that makes you want to savor. That said, the drinks don't always scratch the itch for me in the way I might expect but it might just be that their speciality drinks aren't quite what I typically look for. Nonetheless I do still think they have a strong coffee program and a team that clearly cares about craft.

Comes with a cold brew, etc etc. But after I walked away, 3 of her colleagues came up to chat and show pictures. As they were chatting I heard her say "I ain't got time for cold brew" and look directly at me. Then they split up and she went to stand at the other end of the counter while the 2 people she was chatting with came behind the counter and started sharing pictures or whatever. Great service caught me at Enchanted Coffee…read more Some coffee shops serve great coffee. Others leave you thinking about the experience long after you've left. Enchanted Coffee did exactly that. I stopped by around 12:40 p.m. on a weekday, and the café was already bustling with customers. Luckily, I found the perfect outdoor seat where I could enjoy the sunshine without sitting directly in it. Inside was clean and welcoming, with mostly high-top seating, a communal island, and a small corner with traditional tables. Being on the shorter side, I knew the patio was my best option. During my visit, I also noticed guests enjoying the café with their dogs, adding to the relaxed neighborhood feel. Whenever I visit a new restaurant or coffee shop, I'm looking for more than great food. I'm paying attention to the experience. Customer service is where I believe businesses either shine or fall flat, and it's often what determines whether I'll return. I ordered the Lox Bagel along with a lavender oat milk matcha. I asked if I could add a single shot of espresso, but Elizabeth explained they pull two shots at a time. I laughed and told her, "I don't want you to dump it," so I happily took the double shot. She also let me know the bagel would likely take 20-25 minutes because only two employees were working. I appreciated her honesty and told her to take her time. Instead, my food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The Lox Bagel came on an everything bagel which was my choice, smoked salmon, cream cheese, arugula, tomatoes, red onion, and capers. They serve it whole, allowing you to slice it yourself. The bagel had the perfect toasted crunch, while the combination of creamy cream cheese, fresh vegetables, salty capers, and rich salmon created a bite that was balanced and incredibly satisfying. The dirty lavender matcha paired beautifully with it. As more customers continued to pour in, I couldn't help but watch how the staff handled the growing crowd. People patiently waited in line, squeezed into available seats, grabbed drinks to go, and somehow everything continued flowing smoothly. Even with only two employees working, the service never lost its warmth. Enchanted Coffee captivated me with more than its coffee. It was the hospitality, the honesty, and the overall experience that won me over. Needless to say, they've earned themselves a new weekly customer. If you're in the area or simply want to be captivated by the drinks, food and service...definitely give them a try.

They also gave me cups with different people's order tickets on them (but the drinks themselves were right), so I'm fairly certain they lost my drink ticket and have passed the problem onto other people now. Overall, not a good experience and wouldn't come back; the pandan espresso was alright but Airoma's is still better.
