If you're a gringo do NOT go here. It's my favorite local Mexican and coming from California that's saying a lot because there's nothing in Vegas that compares, and I always tell people to come here but I'm going to stop. I had the worst experience tonight (not the first time but I have to speak out about it now), I came in after driving in from LA for a very quick TO GO pick up that ended up taking an hour. No one speaks English and that's cool, I get it, which is why I said in Spanish I want the enchiladas Roja. She pointed at the Suiza in the menu and I said no red, Roja. I also want to double beans and no rice. So she repeated it back and and said all rice no beans, I'm like no Solamente frijoles. I guess between the language barrier and the loudness in there it's impossible to get an order through. I got a beer while I was waiting, no one asked what size I wanted and they gave me a gigantic one which I figured I would have to really guzzle because it was so large. No one offered chips and salsa so I had to ask. As it turned out I waited 35 minutes and finally asked where my food was in a few minutes later someone brings out a box of absolutely cold food with enchiladas suiza! I told her no and tried to explain red Roja red red. She said she'd get the manager. So the manager comes and I tell him I've been waiting over 30 minutes and I told her several times I wanted red he said OK I'll fix it. Not too long later I get a new order with something that doesn't look anything like their normal red enchiladas but I was so over it I didn't give a shit and I took it. IT WAS COLD! The cheese wasn't even melted at all, it like solid and cold and my double beans was barely even equal to one serving of the first one they brought me (one portion leaked into the other compartment and this is all I got) does this resemble an enchilada? To top it off, almost as if they knew me personally and wanted to piss me off, the topping is like some type of ceviche with crab in it and there's nothing I hate more on the planet than shellfish. Why would you put that on an enchilada anyway ? They didn't bother to apologize or do something nice like comp my beer. I say don't go if you're a gringo because the only person that speaks English in the whole place is the manager and everyone around me was being treated like kings and queens while I sat there unattended and ended up spending $30 on something I didn't even want that took an hour to get. Never going back and I'm going to stop recommending it to out of towners looking for the best Mexican near the strip. Super pissed after a 5 hour drive‼

La Mojarra Loca on Maryland Pkwy by far, is the best authentic Mexican restaurant that we've been to (and we have been to many) Omar took excellent care of us & was very helpful with suggestions! There are 3 locations in Las Vegas but the Maryland Pkwy location is the best! Give it a try!

We just can't enough of this place. A must visit whenever in Las Vegas. Lively atmosphere and excellent food at an affordable rate. Super friendly staff and solid service. Can get a little busy but worth the wait. Our go to is the shrimp empanadas. Super tasty and delicious. Any shrimp or fish dish never disappoints. The camarones poblanos are 10/10. Authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. I cannot wait to go back.

I not a Mexican food foodie but this restaurant far exceeded my expectations. I just left a ladies lunch with approx 125 ladies. Wow !!! What a performance !! Between the mariachi band that was fantastic and the servers trying to get every person served in a timely manner, I give total kudos to management for getting it all organized !! The decor is straight out of Mexico...so vibrant and inviting. The food was outstanding. We were on a fixed menu so my choices were shrimp ceviche, birria tacos and flan for dessert. Flan could have been creamier. It was a little grainy but the appetizer and entree was over the top. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It's in a crazy part of town but worth the experience !!

Food was amazing and such fun drinks! The vibe was alive and a mariachi band played throughout our dinner. Plenty of TVs to watch sports while you're enjoying your meal.

    Scallop Tostada (4 stars)

Grilled shrimp - this was the highlight of the meal Mojarra loca - solid dish that I enjoyed, but if this is what your restaurant is named, I expect to be blown away by it Scallop tostada - good appetizer with good flavor/seasoning Beef fajitas - super overcooked meat (not sure why the waiter even asked how we wanted the steak cooked). Also no guac, sour cream, or pico de gallo, which made it taste extra dry. The texture of the tortillas was awful as well -the chips & salsa here are delicious

I was excited to try this place, but our experience was disappointing. Our server Brenda was not attentive at all. We ask for food and my husband is a tortilla guy so, he ask for an extra order of them. Ask me if they brought them, NO. So we called her over and told her, hey you never brought the extra order of tortillas. What did she brings us is the check, like what the heck. My husband says what you want us to leave already, with what she replied no. So we asked for a cantarito, we got and returned it. It was not good all you can taste was the grapefruit and no alcohol whatsoever, I know my drink and that was not what a cantarito should taste. Unfortunately it will be first and last time. BRENDA WAS NOT VERY WELCOMING AND DIDN'T TRY AT ALL TO GET A TIP BCUZ OF COURSE I LEFT ZERO SHE DIDN'T DESERVE IT AT ALL. Food was delicious though

    Do they do reservations?

I called to inquire about reservations since it was Father's Day and reasonably expected a crowd. The phone rang about 30 times before a curt male voice answered. When I asked the question he said, "We don't take reservations; walk in only." When I…

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Try looking at the menu first.

Can we eat in the restaurant?

    Yes. They are open now.

Do we need to make reservations? If walk in how long is the wait usually?

I made reservations for seven people on a very busy Friday evening, We seated as soon as a table large enough to accommodate our group was available. I would strongly recommend reservations.

This is easily one of the best steakhouses I've had, and I genuinely think it's worth the price you're paying. We tried the bone marrow, which was absolutely delicious, as well as the seafood platter, which was a great addition to the meal. But the real star for me was the tomahawk steak. It was so juicy, incredibly high quality, and cooked perfectly. Every bite was delicious, and you could really tell that they use quality ingredients. The sides were also really good and paired perfectly with the steak. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, and there wasn't anything that disappointed me. The staff was also really nice and welcoming. We did a family-style dinner, which made the whole experience feel really fun and special. Everyone was friendly and accommodating throughout the meal. The ambiance was another highlight. It's very elegant and upscale, with dim, low lighting and a quieter atmosphere. It felt fancy without being overly loud or chaotic, which made it a really nice place to sit down and enjoy a long dinner. Overall, I absolutely loved Don's Prime. If you're taking a trip to Las Vegas and looking for a really good steakhouse for dinner, I definitely recommend putting this one on your list. We decided to try it for two reasons: we wanted to avoid the long wait at Palace Station Oyster Bar, and our 14-year-old was excited to try pan roast for the first time and loves raw oysters. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one couple seated by the window. We didn't let that discourage us from giving it a try. The restaurant appeared to be a true mom-and-pop operation, staffed by one cook, one kitchen helper, and a waitress who also greeted and seated guests. The waitress was friendly, attentive, and provided prompt service. We were quickly seated, given water, and handed menus. The décor is simple and unpretentious, creating a casual neighborhood feel. We ordered two Seafood Combo Pan Roasts, Linguine with Clams, a half dozen raw oysters, and an extra order of rice to soak up the pan roast sauce. The Seafood Pan Roast was disappointing. Instead of the rich, seafood creamy savory that makes this dish so satisfying, it leaned heavily on tomato sauce. The consistency was quite soupy, with only small pieces of seafood scattered throughout. The Linguine with Clams had a strong briny flavor but lacked the garlic, butter, and savory seasoning we were expecting. There was also very little clam meat, making the dish feel underwhelming. Overall, the service was warm and welcoming, but unfortunately the food didn't quite live up to our expectations. Based on the many positive reviews, I have a feeling we may have visited on an off day. We truly appreciated the attentive service and the convenience of easy parking, so we'd be open to giving PK Oyster Bar another try in the future.

If you are following, you know we came here for two days straight. We had such a great experience last time, so we decided to come back today. 7/14/26 The first day experience was so positive!! "T" was our waitress and she was perfect, exceeding our expectations. We got the following, all of which were good, fresh, etc. Rockefeller oysters, and we did the East Coast Oysters today. And of course wine, more wine, etc. See our receipt. 7/15/26 - Sadly, the total opposite experience! Our waiter "A" was only able to get one thing correct... See service below. Today's food was good - Calamari, West Coast oysters (we actually ordered the East coast oysters again... and Chardonnay (we actually ordered the French Sauvignon Blanc again...) Atmosphere - This location replaced Spago's, who moved to Bellagio, so I am very familiar with the space. Open kitchen now, a few changes in decor. I like the private rooms upstairs. I liked Spago's bathrooms, it was a little more "upscale." Open 7 days a week from 11am to 10pm or 11pm. Service - 7/14/26 = Amazing service!! 7/15/26 = "A" could not get anything correct. It took him 20 minutes to finally acknowledge us. Then he only gave me water, not my buddy?!?! With NO ice. It took our wine almost another 20 minutes to get to us. We spent that 20 minutes watching him work and spinning!! I hope he was NOT under the influence?!?! Our calamari came which was fried perfectly, but such a small portion especially for $24. Then our oysters came, and it was the wrong oysters. Different from what we ordered. Both in wrong quantities and from the incorrect coast. He never offered water refills (or bread refills), etc. Most importantly, there was no inquiry if we wanted more wine. After the consistent poor service, we left to go to Joes Seafood Prime Steak & Stone Crab. They lost another $100 in sales. Price - 7/14/26 = $250 + generous tip. 7/15/26 = $100 + more tip than deserved or earned. The surf & turf taco is quite large with some guac and crispy onion straws giving a creamy and crunchy finish and it's seasoned well. The marlin adobada has a unique flavor profile with the smoked tuna marinated in pineapple and achiote w/ cheese onions, and a guac aioli sauce; the pineapple flavors definitely come through so if you like that flavor, definitely get this one. The cabo tostada was the best of them all as one of the ceviche tostada ooptions. It has shrimp, octopus, and scallops in a spicy sauce with a lot of lime juice and a pickled carrot/onion/cucumber finish. All the flavors of these ingredients go well together and they give a lot of seafood. Definitely a must-order.
