    Large Cheese Pizza
    Kevin P.

Ordered a large pizza and an order of french fries. The bill came to $39.12. I feel that was a little to much to charge. The pizza had a good taste. There was plenty of cheese and the sauce had a good taste to it. It just seems like ordering out is becoming so expensive.

I ordered 10 bbq wings, all flats on the pit, and they were good, however the Westside location is better, I absolutely love bbq wings on the pit and lanivas is my go to place and the service was great also, it took about 30min to cook the wings, and it was well worth it, because I ate most of them on the way home

Love me some greasy pizza. I usually get the family pack and eat it for days but this time I went with the mini pack. The mini pack has a large cheese + 1 topping pizza and 20 wings (boneless or bone-in). The family pack has a large cheese + 1 topping pizza and a bucket of wings. I wished there was a pack in between because 20 wings is never enough and 50 is too much. The packs are pricy. You'll be paying 60 dollars for the mini pack and $100 for the family pack. The pizza was cooked to perfection. Usually with La Nova, I like their wings better than their pizza but today and last few times, their pizza has been gettting better while their wings have been getting worse. I went with bbq pit style. It wasn't as crispy or charcoal-ly as I was hoping. Blue cheese is always lit and if you get ranch, you need to get your taste buds checked out. Waiting area is simple. Just a couple of seats by the window. They have enough space for 10 people ish. Service was quick and effortless. They are always working hard and so it was a quick and pleasant exchange. Parking is decent. They are in a mini plaza and have 20 or so spots between them and the other few businesses there. They have a ton of other things on their menu including chicken finger subs, fries, salads, tacos etc. Never had of those. I strictly go for the pizza. So why only 3 stars? I think their pizza is getting better and I was extremely happy with my last order but their wings are starting to get bad. I've been disappointed the last 3 times and so I'm starting to think that maybe my love affair with La Nova might need to end. Or if you want a slice and a couple of wings, or if its your first time to Buffalo and want a place to get chicken and pizza, this might be a the place to go. But if you're like me and been here multiple times and want to best of pizza and wings and feel like the quality is starting to lack here, then you may want to check out another place.

Cool local pizza chain. Wanted to try something 'local', and was told my a local to give it a shot. Service was good. Food was just ok. Cheese pizza was a 6/10. Pepperoni was a 7/10. Cheese breadsticks were a 6/10 (mostly over baked crust).

    The Big Joe 30"

Ordered their biggest pizza a Big Joe 30" for a big party & it fed everyone! It was actually super delicious & made perfectly. The pizza was even delicious when it was cold. The only issue we ran into was figuring out how to get the pizza inside the car, so make sure you have a big SUV with seats that go down otherwise you'll be stuck. I am super pleased with La Nova!

I love that they have hot, fresh slices ready to go. Regularly featured are, broccoli & chicken, steak & Cheese, sausage & pepper, pepperoni with a few different crusts, mushrooms. They are a slight pricey, but the food is stacked and you get what you pay for

I grew up across from the W Ferry location in the 80s and having lived in cities around the world I can say I always compare restaurants to those found in Western NY. IMO, La Nova on W. Ferry still to this day has the number one BBQ wings found anywhere and decent hot wings as well (but I prefer Duffs). Their classic Buffalo style pizza is very good but I prefer "Just Pizza". La Nova subs (particularly their Turkey sub) are also very good but be sure to tell them what condiments you want on it or you may get a dry sub which is not good eats. Their beef soft tacos are also surprisingly good for a pizzeria but only if the meat is hot when you eat it. (Don't let it get cold or let the lettuce get soggy sitting with the hot meat). The Williamsville location is a very sorry excuse for a restaurant bearing the La Nova name, very inconsistent quality, lack of attention to detail. Drive the extra 20m to the W Ferry location on the West Side, it's well worth it.

Sesame seeds on the crust was an awesome addition.

AWFUL!! Couldn't even bite into a chicken parmesan sub. The cheese was burnt, the chicken was hard. Customer service was rude. Never again.

When I arrived, my order still had 15 minutes left (I had just ordered from up the street). I thought I would just sit at a table, and I think there were two tables, but it was cold in there. I wouldn't recommend planning to eat there during the winter. Also, like I said, it's small with limited seating. It's more of a take out place; no ambiance to speak of. I would plan to order takeout rather than meeting up with people to eat here. So I left and came back. The gentleman working packed my items very nicely. He asked if I wanted a bag and I said yes and he bagged for me. We both forgot I had a 20oz with my order so I came back again and then headed home to give their food a try. Appearance wise was good .. both the pizza and wings had that nice reddish orange look to it. The wings came with Ken's blue cheese and carrots. The wings were good. Average but satisfied my craving. They have what I considered the good old fashioned medium sauce .. that classic flavor you would expect back in the day, before came a million varieties of everything. I have no complaints really and appreciated that I asked for them crispy and they were! The pizza I wouldn't order again, but I would be willing to try the regular crust (I ordered the thin crust option and wasn't into it). Maybe the regular crust or even just a regular sized pizza may be tastier to me. The sauce/cheese ratio was just right! I would totally have their wings again and maybe try a different pizza option than the personal thin crust.

Wow. Hands down some of the best pizza we've had…read more We ordered the San Felice Pizza -- San Marzano tomatoes, house-made sausage, sweet and spicy peppers, onion, buffalo mozzarella, and fresh basil -- and it was absolute perfection. The flavors don't compete... they melt together into one big, perfect masterpiece. The peppers leaned sweet (no real heat), which made them the ideal companion to the delicious sausage. And that sausage? Made in-house and seasoned beautifully, with the perfect amount of fennel -- enough to give it that classic Italian character without overpowering the pie. Perfection! The buffalo mozzarella added creamy richness, the basil kept everything bright, and the San Marzano tomatoes were clean and balanced. We love pizza in all its forms -- New York style and Napoli alike -- but there is something about the rustic goodness of true Neapolitan pizza that has a special place in my pizza-loving heart. That airy, soft center and char-kissed crust from the wood-fired oven is magic. The use of such fresh ingredients makes Forno Napoli my favorite pizza on NY so far - authentic and intentional. There is a lot of love and pride in everything from the handmade crust to all of the toppings. They also serve a garlic butter and cheese dipping sauce for the crust -- indulgent and completely unnecessary in the BEST possible way. That blistered crust dipped in that sauce? Unreal. The cheese? Yes, they have the most beautiful wheel of pecorino they hand grate from to make this happen. No green shaker bottles here! We met Felix, the owner, and he was incredibly welcoming. He has such great energy -- warm, engaging, and clearly passionate. You can tell he's the heartbeat behind the recipes and the success of the business. It feels personal. He made us want to share just how great our entire experience was and he certainly made us want to return. Our only regret? We were too full to try another pizza. Do not hesitate. This truly is a slice of heaven.

When you're ready to order, head up to the counter. After ordering, head back to your seat and the will bring you your food when it's ready. My friend had the meatball sandwich (napoletana panini). It looked fantastic. But when I asked his rating, he gave it 6/10 stars. However, I wouldn't trust anyone who doesn't like cheese so take it with a grain of salt I was torn between the Bianca and Quattro pizza so I asked the kind man at the register for his suggestion; he said the Bianca is more popular so I went with that. I enjoyed my pizza, although I wouldn't order this one again. I do want to say that it is pricey but you will get a very big pie of great quality. The dough was excellent! It was actually my favorite part and I've never said that about any pizza! Atmosphere is extremely casual. There's fruit infused waters to have and you go and grab them yourself (back right corner). But you can order bottles of soda, alcohol, etc. Also in the back right corner are small pizza boxes for leftovers you can grab if needed. Well, they were on the list of Yelp Buffalo's top places to eat in 2025, so of course we had to give them a try. The space itself is really beautiful. Nestled alongside a river with a cabinesque vibe. Stone exterior, with wood floors, exposed brick, and large fermentation tanks on the interior. It's really quite cozy. As for food, our table shared one of their tasty dips - the elote one to be exact. Elote is delicious on its own, but in dip form with pickled red onions, fire! I could eat an entire bucket of this stuff. When it came to my main course I ordered what I call the basic girl dinner, a caesar salad and fries... but here I went with the tater tots because I was told they are heavenly. My salad was a good portion size and exactly what you want when you order a caesar. As for the tots, the amount you get is insane and they were in fact, fried to a crispy perfection. They definitely hit the spot. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and I can see why Yelpers in Buffalo rate this spot so high. If I lived nearby I would definitely be a frequent flyer.
