This is my typical go to spot, and a lot of the regulars know me here. Manny was helping me with my bowl tonight, and they typically know what I order so I just feel comfortable ending with who I started with. All went well until Wayne added some attitude. Wayne worked tonight and he said I'll finish up with you, and I said in a nice demeanor that manny will finish helping me out, and manny also stated he will finish doing my bowl. Wayne had a very nasty attitude, and wasn't professional by any means. " I guess I'll help you guys out then, I don't know her issue". And I mentioned please don't start and cause a scene, all I said is I'd like manny to help finish my bowl. And wayne goes I can open mouth back if I want too. "Go deal with your food lady" That's hospitality? It's not. Filled with a lot of attitude and doesn't seem like he enjoys working there. I have been a customer here for a very very long time, and recommend this place to many. But I will not be back. Also there was a previous time Wayne also did not wash his hands after touching cash , and then wants to touch food, and I mentioned that to manny as well in the past. And he also stated that Wayne gives him attitude when telling him to wash his hands and such. So it clearly shows he doesn't like his job. From the moment I walked in, the staff, especially owner Camille and manager Dani, made me feel so welcome. It's a family owned spot with that personal touch you just can't beat, and they have 4 locations! The setup is like a Chipotle, but everything is made in house: sauces, marinades, even the pita and pita chips! The portions are huge, and you really get a bang for your buck with fresh, clean food. I tried the falafel wheat wrap with tahini (amazing vegan option!), and the beef shawarma rice bowl with all the fixings! Veggies, quinoa salad, feta, and olives. I came here because I wanted falafel's, the wraps themselves are really big, but that's because they put a lot of lettuce in them which I really do appreciate the falafel ratio though is kind of well I mean come on. We all know you only get four which is cool but there's a lot of lettuce. I do like the garlic sauce and extra pickles as I asked for they actually know the meaning of extra pickles. I couldn't eat half of the wrap because it's big. My favorite thing from this place are the pita chips. I love sumac. I'm not a fan of the hummus, though. I don't know why it has a burnt taste to it in my opinion. I've tried this place. This is my second time. I think I'm good with going here. I have been wanting to try this place since it got onto my social feeds. This weekend they ran a promo that finally got me in and I'm kicking myself for waiting for so long. I had the chicken shawarma bowl which was huge. yes, there's lettuce and a delicious rice that fills a lot of the bowl, but there was a very generous portion of delicious chicken. Note, it's shaved a little thin, so it's a little on the dry side alone, but with the tzatiki dressing it doesn't taste dry. You can choose from their base veggies (cucumbers, tomato, chickpeas, onion, and don't sleep on the carrots) and add on other things for an upcharge. Also comes with a delicious fluffy pita. It's not the flat pita that I like from a lebanese wrap place, but it's worth the carbs!! Doesn't need additional dip or anything, but i'm sure it's amazing with it too! I also got their cucumber chiller which was surprisingly refreshing. It's a cucumber lemonade and next time, i'm eating in and drinking as much of this as my body can take! Big spacious dining room if you want to eat in, but order through the website (don't think they have an app yet) if you want a delicious take out. So I did not get to see the inside of the restaurant nor experience their customer service. My steak was oily and burnt. It looks like they gave me the scraps that needed to be tossed out. My pita bread was cold. I am used to the bread being served warm at other establishments. However, that wasn't the case at this one. The hummus was mid. Even when I order online for delivery it doesn't come smaller than usual or lower qual. It's just like I picked it up myself and small things like that keep me coming back.
