This was sooooo wonderful in every way. First it's beautiful. Tables are adorable. Our server, Jay was amazing. The food was delicious. Ambiance was everything. We are making this a girls luncheon spot! We had the Baguette and Brie. Brussels Sprouts, La Parisienne salads, Ceasar salad with steak, shrimp chowder, Tuna Nicoise We had a bottle of Champagne. And for my birthday they brought out a candle with yummy cotton candy. I just had the best time.

I was really looking forward to dining at La Parisienne French Bistro, but the food and the experience fell short of my expectations. Pretty much from the moment we walked in, things were a bit off. First, at the doorway; there is a small ramp that has a steep grade and it was slippery, and I nearly stumbled my way into the building. Not the most graceful way to make an entrance. At first glance, the decor in the main dining room looks opulent, but when you really take in the surroundings, it's not as sophisticated. The plastic plants, the mixture of warm and cool lighting and...this is subjective, but the artwork was really cheesy. It was like Bratz dolls with Louis Vuitton insignia. It really cheapened the atmosphere. The menu seemed to be promising, but everything I ordered missed the mark. I started my meal with an appetizer of whipped ricotta with hot honey and poached pear. This was insanely sweet- moreso than a typical dessert. I've had similar dishes before at other restaurants and the use of the honey was restrained, whereas someone really went to town with drowning the sweet pear with more sweetness, making it virtually inedible. I picked around my dish and tried to eat what wasn't hosed in honey. For my main entree, I ordered the Chicken Française. It was bland and I would never order this again. Adding to the underwhelming aspect of this dish was the obligatory green frisée (one would assume for creating a balanced meal, but at minimum making it not look like a monotonous lifeless plate of food) and it wasn't dressed with anything. It definitely could've used being dressed with a light, bright dressing to make this a much needed counter to the blah pasta and sad breaded chicken. I should also mention at this point that the server brought out my husband's dessert while I was still eating my main course. Throughout the meal, he seemed a bit insecure and I think just didn't know how to time the dishes. I ended the meal with crème brûlée and it was too sweet. Bummer. Overall, La Parisienne French Bistro is like an approximation of what French cuisine and culture is through the lens of an algorithmic fever dream. While it tries to deliver on sophistication, it lacks the baseline understanding of what it's striving to be. If you have the words "French Bistro" in your name, you are setting a high bar. While I feel that La Parisienne tries, it just feels so off the rails. I don't get a French vibe from this place.

I can't say enough good things about this, the newest location, of La Parisienne French Bistro- Addison! Everything from the servers, the afternoon tea presentation to the quality of the tea & food- excellent! I mean excellent! My gluten free afternoon tea was a real fresh delight, & my guests' regular afternoon tea versions looked delicious too. We all really appreciated the unique Eiffel Tower presentation, the cotton candy sparkler presentation (reserved for our special occasion) My guests & I have been multi times to the other location & loved it... but I think we all agreed this location was even better!

The food was delicious and beautifully presented on the cutest Eiffel Tower platter. A great spot for a relaxed tea with friends. The staff was friendly and the experience felt warm and unhurried. Highly recommend!

We visited for afternoon tea and the décor was gorgeous. The staff was great as well: very attentive, polite, and made sure we were taken care of throughout our visit. Love how they do tea in a separate private area than the main dining. The tea was good, though the selection wasn't as large as expected. We ordered the White Pear Ginger and a Mango tea, and both were yummy. A couple of disappointments: * The menu listed chocolate-covered strawberries, but none were served. * We had noted an allergy in our reservation, but it wasn't addressed until we brought it up again. Once we mentioned it, they did quickly accommodate, but it should've been handled from the start. Other things to know: * The bathroom was extremely hot, and we heard multiple women complaining about it. * The entry door is on the side, not the door you see out front -- lots of people were trying the locked front door before realizing. Parking is plenty but not easy to find an open space on a weekend as the shopping center has many restaurants. Arrive early to avoid circling a dozen times. Overall, afternoon tea here is great. Will be back!

We decided to try this place on a Sunday morning, brunch was the vibe. The vibe inside was very cute and it seemed to be the place to have a party because there were several large groups there enjoying themselves. It definitely felt like a fancy kinda of place but not necessary. I had the avocado on a croissant and it was super delicious. Croissant was soft and flaky, the arugula salad was very fresh and the one slice of bacon was enough to bring it all together. My friend ordered the American in Paris, pretty basic breakfast, he said the potatoes were really good. The tea experience was super cool, and elegant. We ordered two different teas, both were very good. NOW, here's the reason why I didn't give this place 5 stars. My other buddy ordered the desert tower which costs $55. He was told it would take 30 minutes to prepare. So as I and my other friend ate our meals and finished those he still sat and had no food. The tower came about 45 minutes after he ordered and while they were cute there wasn't much of a selection. It comes 4 with 4 pieces of the same desert and to top it all off, the deserts are FROZEN. Not fresh. We were maybe able to eat 4 that weren't hard as a rock. We were told that's why it takes so long to prepare the desert tower is because they have to pull them out of the freezer to defrost. We didn't feel that it was worth the $55 after the long wait and these deserts not being fresh at all. Super disappointing to a great start of brunch. I did speak to a manager and he did give us a discount off bc he noticed we didn't eat most of the deserts and we explained that they were still frozen. Very cute place and great food, they also serve alcoholic beverages, but I wouldn't recommend the desert tower.

Drove an hour to celebrate my birthday dinner with my mom, daughter, and grandson, and it was worth the trip. Our waitress, Ally was super friendly and very attentive, especially considering she was new. We had the Lobster Pie -- amazing flavor, just wish the portion was bigger! The Beef Wellington was also excellent, full of flavor, and the veggies and potatoes were just as good. Dessert stole the show. The Napoleon was hands down the best dessert I've ever had. Only small downsides were being charged for bread and the lack of music, but overall it was a great experience. I'll definitely be back, especially to check out the Tea Room with friends!

This place is absolutely amazing. You must go the service. The people are absolutely amazing. We had a bridal shower on April 26. Our waiter was the best. You should definitely go anytime you can.

La Parisienne is a whole vibe! I celebrated my birthday there, with the girls and we had a great time. The decor is so chic and beautiful. You must take pictures there. The service for our party of seven was great. Our server Alan was so attentive and we didn't have to ask for a thing. He made suggestions from appetizers to drinks, and meals. The lobster jar is a must try 5/5. The baguette bread and that butter, so delicious 6/5. The muscles which comes with bread 5/5 , is also a must try. Everyone at my table got the expresso Martini flight and they did not disappoint! They were three full glasses of martinis and at a great price. I got a mocktail called La Paradise, which was delicious. For the entrees I would suggest the salmon, which was very flavorful 5/5 . Another friend got the burger which was meaty and good. Another friend got the spicy rigatoni, which she said it was good 4/5. I got the branzino and it just didn't do it for me. I would skip the branzino, I wish it was all grilled with a sauce. 2/ 5 I also got tea, which came with a unique tea serving and it was so fun! Also we had great service and friendly banter, with Araceli! She was great! They played live music via piano and the artist song Happy Birthday to me. We all enjoyed ourselves and we will definitely be back again! I want to come back for a tea party! I strongly urge you to come try this place, for yourself! Don't go by the other reviews. Hi Alan and Araceli!

I had been wanting to try La Parisienne for a while, and I am glad the Addison location is a little bit closer to me. We were seated right away upon arrival for our 11:30am reservation. Our waiter Hugo was the absolute best. He took our drink order promptly and brought us both our Lattes. I ordered a Caramel Latte and it was fantastic! Sweet and just delicious. I want to say that it was one of the best Lattes I have had, we were even talking about it in the car on our way home. I ordered the steak and eggs for my meal and it was also really good. The steak was cooked to my liking, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the potatoes were nicely seasoned. The place is beautiful inside, with florals and chic pictures on the walls. The service was a bit on the slow side, I thought that it took a while to get our coffee and food. I didn't mind it much, because we were not in a rush, but something to keep in mind. The experience was thrown off by the amount of deliveries that came through the door. We were seated really close to the door and I swear we came on delivery day, because we saw every delivery company drop in and it was throwing off the vibe a bit. All in all is a very cute place, and I would visit again but request to sit away from the door.

The service, food, at decor were so perfect for our girls brunch. It was surprisingly filling for all the small bites and appreciated the $5 mimosas too

It's dark, moody, and effortlessly romantic, with a live pianist playing throughout the evening. It's the kind of place that feels intimate without being stuffy, perfect for a date night. The service was honestly some of the best I've had in Dallas. My water never dropped below two sips from full, the team was that attentive. It became amusing (in the best way) how on top of everything they were. Our waiter, Rene, was outstanding. He provided stellar recommendations from starters to entrées, drinks, and desserts. I trusted him enough to let him choose my glass of wine to follow my cocktail, and he nailed it. He also walked us through the menu in detail, which was incredibly helpful as first-time guests. The food absolutely delivered: * Shrimp St. Martins - Five jumbo de-veined shrimp in a rich, butter-like sauce that was decadent without being overwhelming. * Frisée Aux Lardon Salad - Rene thoughtfully split this tableside and served it onto individual plates. The dressing leans heavily Dijon-forward, so order accordingly if you're not a mustard fan. That said, the bacon was some of the best I've ever had: thick, slightly sweet, and perfectly cooked. * Sea Bass Ratatouille - Served over a tomato sauce, it was flavorful, well-balanced, and not too heavy. * Rack of Lamb - An extremely generous portion (which I happily helped my date finish). It was boldly seasoned and on the saltier side, which I personally loved, though I understand that may not be for everyone. * Affogato - A simple but perfect way to close out the meal. Between the romantic atmosphere, top-tier service, and excellent food, this is easily one of the better dining experiences I've had in Dallas.

Apparently it's a Dallas staple restaurant, having been around for more than 44 years, but it is now in a new location as of 2024. Starting from the moment you walk in you are enveloped in a very moody romantic French bistro. Just inside the front door you are greeted by the hostess. There's also a live piano player who plays live music at just the right volume. Tables are covered in white tablecloths with glowing candles. The booths are especially cozy! If you are looking for a romantic dinner spot this is your spot! The service here is on par and the food delicious! This particular night we started with the caviar service, then moved on to the mixed green salad. After that, honestly I was full so I just had Lobster Bisque for dinner while my husband had the lamb. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals, but were too full to move onto dessert, maybe next time!

Not once did a manager or our server George come check on us or tell us there was an issue. Every meal that we received was cold, but we had no other choice but to eat it due to how long it took and making it to the concert by 8PM. This was the night of the Andrea Borcelli concert and the restaurant was full. Management should have prepared for a busy night. My party was so excited to eat in the Polar Bear room and head to the concert. How does a Michelin star restaurant let this happen and then force us to pay 20% gratuity? I was a server for 10 years and I would never let this type of experience happen to a party paying $100 a person in food and drinks. This was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Management - you need to really work on your guest service and experience. Such a disappointment.

This saved the bartender from leaving the bar. Later, he returned with the bread and its condiments. Despite not having napkins or utensils, the olive oil came with a spoon to mix the ingredients. I used this spoon to pour the oil onto the slices. When the Salad Niçoise arrived, I reminded the bartender that I needed utensils. The food has always been great and the experience was something we looked forward to. That's why we chose to celebrate an early Valentine's Day here -- to avoid the crazy rush and the preset menu. But this time? Completely different experience. We got seated right away because of our reservation, which was great. It took a few minutes for the waiter to come by -- no big deal. I ordered an Old Fashioned and honestly... the bartender needs some help. It came out full of crushed ice and tasted watered down. I sent it back, and the second one was basically the same drink with more whiskey thrown in. At that point, I just let it go. Then things just kept going downhill. After about 20 minutes, we realized we hadn't gotten any bread. We asked the waiter and he said he'd check. Another 10 minutes go by and he comes back saying, "Still no bread," and drops off the wrong appetizer -- we had only ordered a salad. He takes it back, and it's another 15 minutes before our actual salad shows up. Still no bread. At one point, we could literally see him arguing with someone in the back about why we didn't get bread yet. Not exactly something you want to watch during a date night. The food, when it finally came out, was delicious. No complaints there. But it took forever. By the time we were eating, it was about 45 minutes until closing... and we had gotten there two hours earlier. Then comes the payment situation. The waiter brings the check back and casually tells me I gave him two credit cards and he "just picked the brighter one." I look down and he had handed me someone else's credit card while mine was still sitting in the book. That's not a small mistake. Overall, it just felt unorganized and sloppy this time. I don't know if they're short staffed or just getting too busy for their own good, but it was disappointing, especially for a place we've genuinely enjoyed in the past. Hoping it was just an off night... but it definitely made us think twice about coming back.
