We enjoyed cafe Dior very much. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they made it special. The ambience was really pretty, small little place. We had some amazing espresso martinis. Our server was very attentive to everything. I had some caviar bites and the oysters which I absolutely loved. And then enjoyed the chicken. For dessert we had ice cream with coffee. Very lovely and would come back

Beautifully designed coffee shop located on the second floor of Dior store. Their menu includes variety of coffee, tea, appetizers, and desserts. Upon arrival they serve you still or sparkling water. I visited here with my friend for the very first time. For dessert I got the apple tart, and for drink cappuccino with vanilla flavor and chose the floral design. My friend got some sort of Brownie vanilla mouse dessert and black tea. I thought the dessert and coffee were good. Our server Mason was also very kind. However I would say the prices for dessert were a bit high for a coffeeshop.

Afternoon tea with friends at Cafe Dior. Very nice looking café above the Dior store. The service was excellent and the tea service was pretty good. I would give it a 4/5. The food was largely tasty but it was a little disappointing that there were no scones.

Service is EXCELLENT and they deserve all the tips! It was fun to dress up with my friend and have a luxurious experience. This is a perfect spot to sip and yap and get dressed up for pictures. If you are actually hungry and wanting a rich meal there are many other places in Dallas that has a much better menu and for a fraction of the price. All the food was beautiful but as a foodie, I have had many other great meals for a lot less. Portions are very very small so, get appetizers. I like very seasoned and spiced food so, this was not within my normal food choices. Overall, the experience was fun! It's a matter of how much you want to spend for an experience/aesthetic. The cilantro butter was amazing! Forgot to take a picture but, I got the chicken sandwich

I was excited to try out a cafe by Dior and I had high expectations, but I was a little disappointed. My friend had to schedule a reservation a few days prior. When we entered Dior, the cafe was on the second floor which is accessible by the elevator or stairs. We were seated very quickly my the staff at the front. The cafe itself is small, but very cozy with the decor and seating. They even have a little seat for your purse to sit on. There were quite a few things on the menu, but mostly drinks. There is the option for bar seating as well. Bread/Butter: The bread was okay. A bit hard on the exterior but soft on the inside. The butter was really pretty and the green color made it look like a dessert. The butter had a herb flavor, but it was good! Prawns: I ordered the prawns, and it was a lot less than I expected. The prawns were a bit overcooked. The sauce on top was good, but gets salty if not evenly spread. For the prices and quantity here, I would think the quality would be better. It's a good place to chit chat and drink, but I think it's better to eat elsewhere first. The staff and service were. Just wish the food was better.

This is a cute picturesque place! It is located above the store and has just a small room for a nice lunch or afternoon meet up. They did not have many vegan options but Juan, our waiter was accommodating! The drinks were delicious and the food was like art!! Nice place to check out!

5 stars absolutely!!!! The best customer service EVER!!! 10/10!!! The level of exquisite service and attention to details was exactly what I need in my life. The food was excellent. Small portions but we knew this from the name, lol. SQL

I'll say this place is surprisingly pretty cool. Good food but since it's French expect small portions. Staff here is super nice and very accommodating. Head up, only 1 bathroom in this entire restaurant but that's literally the only draw back. Otherwise, make a rez in advance and you're golden!

Café Dior - Afternoon Tea in Style Beautiful décor and chic, intimate atmosphere on the upper floor of the Dior store (accessible by elevator or stairs). Arrive early to shop Dior downstairs--it's the perfect prelude to the luxury tea service. The afternoon tea is prepaid (2-person minimum) with an option to add Champagne (a must to start). I chose rooibos passion fruit herbal tea, while my guest enjoyed black Ceylon mango. Served with sugar cubes, plus honey and steamed milk on request (non-dairy options weren't mentioned). The three-tier tea tray was elegantly presented with a mix of savory and sweet: * Chicken salad sandwich * Caviar & watercress choux * Tuna tartlet * Hazelnut chocolate cookie * Piña colada baba au rhum * Banana & sesame canelé All beautifully displayed on Dior platters and glassware--like a preview of the Dior home collection. Food was elevated and creative, but the service didn't match the luxury vibe. Dior requests a guest photo upload before arrival (as I've experienced in St. Barths and London), but it wasn't used--so the greeting felt impersonal. Service isn't "white glove," which undercuts the upscale positioning. Would I return? Not for the tea service. But the bar is stylish, intimate, and perfect for Champagne or cocktails with a friend--that's where I'd go next time. Tea service: $269 Total bill $351 I added a second glass of Veuve to end our experience. 20% Gratuity is automatically included on all bills. You may add more if preferred. Keywords: afternoon tea, luxury tea, Dior café, Parisian tea service, Champagne, upscale bar

    Mom and daughter day

The food is extremely expensive. We spent about $200 for two people and still left feeling hungry. I understand that it's fine dining, and everything was beautifully presented. It truly made for a special mom and daughter experience. However, the food itself left me wanting more. Out of everything on the tray, there was maybe one item we really enjoyed. The drinks were amazing, the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is incredibly kind. I also loved how quiet and intimate it felt. I'm still grateful that my daughter and I got to experience it. Just be prepared to spend quite a bit and possibly leave wishing the food had been more satisfying. I can see the vision of a world-renowned chef and the artistry behind the delicate dishes, but for the average person, it may not be what you're used to or prefer. That said, it's still worth going at least once for the experience, especially if you're looking for a beautiful place to enjoy a special outing with your daughter.

This was an unexpected surprise for lunch my SO treated me to. The restaurant is on the upper level of the Dior store, which was also a surprise to me. I did not realize they put a restaurant in that store location. The restaurant is small, quaint, and nicely decorated. Seating is quite close together to make do with the space allocated for it. Service was very nice and attentive. The food was quite delicious and very artistic. Definitely some of the best salmon and salad mix there. Was definitely a great experience with some wonderfully artistic food - but don't count on it to be the most filling experience. Portions will make you *satisfied* but not definitely not stuffed.

Gorgeous interior, top-tier service, but entrées fell flat! Ambiance & Service: Located above the Dior store, the space is chic and upscale. Staff were warm, attentive, and checked in often--flawless service. Food & Drink: - Wind Rose: Light, sweet, and citrusy--perfect if you love raspberry and lemon. - Bread & Butter: Bread was average, but the herb butter stole the show. - Montaigne Garden: Fresh, tart, beautifully plated--must try! - Drapé Tart: Another standout starter. A beet lover's dream. - Truffle Pasta: Off-menu vegetarian entrée. Nice truffle shavings, but under-seasoned, flavorless pasta--skip! - Pommes Duchesse: Light potato puffs with a hint of smokiness. Tasty! - Blooming Bouquet: Gorgeous dessert and citrus-forward. Not too sweet. TL;DR: Stunning space, stellar service. Come for the drinks, starters, and dessert--skip the mains.

Dior Café serves the most exquisite dining experience! I enjoyed lunch here recently with a friend. The food was first class, as expected. They even had gluten-free rolls on hand. What a treat! We started our meal with the Montaigne Garden Zucchini & apple salad w/ sherry vinaigrette; it was both gorgeous and delightful! My friend ate every bite of the Violette Bigeye tuna w/ dashi & sweet potato chips, while I loved the Barbizon Ora king salmon with beurre blanc sauce. The Pommes Duchesse were also lovely and delicious! We ordered busy bee cocktails (old fashioned) with lunch and finished our meal with lattes. Perfection with every sip! ... especially in pure Dior crystal that sells for $390 per glass downstairs. Don't bring the kids! (IMO) The dining room is small which is one reason it is challenging to get a table. (I like it this way.) The room includes (1) 4 top, (2) 5-7 tops, and (7) 2 tops. There is a room across from the elevator for celebrities to dine in peace. Currently you do not need a reservation to sit at the bar. It was more than half empty the entire time we were there. You may only order drinks, caviar and dessert there at present. The ladies bathroom is nearby and beautiful. It includes sampling of a few of their perfumes. This place is super bougie and I would like to have it as my personal dining room. I'll be back soon. Real soon. Hopefully they will offer a gluten-free dessert next time. :)

First of all, the Bishop Arts District itself is incredibly charming. Block after block of unique shops ranging from bookstores and bakeries to candle shops, candy stores, coffee spots, and little boutiques. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood I loveeeee exploring while traveling and if I lived in Dallas, I'd probably frequent this area often. As for The Wild Detectives, the concept alone immediately appealed to me...bookstore meets cafe meets bar meets restaurant. That combination will pretty much always grab my attention. I love to read, I love to eat. The space has a pretty relaxed, community oriented vibe, and during my Saturday morning/early afternoon visit, there were plenty of people working, reading, chatting, and hanging out both inside and on the patio. My one slight disappointment was that the bookstore side itself was smaller than I expected and didn't have quite as extensive a selection as I had imagined. That said, I still managed to leave with a few great additions for my ever growing TBR pile. Overall, this was a worthwhile stop and one I may revisit the next time I'm in Dallas.

I've only been during the day and always spend a little time working before a coffee meeting. The WiFi is always good and the coffee is great. The ambiance is very open and inviting as well. Beautiful sunshine pours through big windows, there's a lovely park right outside, and the light is so good it feels like the café equivalent of a good hair day. Dallas weather helps, obviously--but this place knows how to use it. The space is lively without being chaotic. Plenty of outdoor seating, lots of indoor seating, and a very reasonable three-hour Wi-Fi window that keeps people working instead of camping. It feels intentional. People come here to stay, not hover in line. Speaking of which--there's never a line. They're clearly well staffed, everyone's efficient, and everyone is genuinely nice. Now, pastries. This is where they shine. A lot of unique options you don't see everywhere, and everything I tried was excellent. The almond croissant? Fantastic. The blueberry cake? A must-get. I went two days in a row (because obviously), and on day one they told me it was their most popular item. Day two, by 11 a.m., it was completely gone and kept selling out as soon as they tried to restock. That alone tells you what you need to know. The matcha is good--made from scratch, which I appreciate. Is it the best matcha I've ever had? No. It's better than Local Johnny's, but not quite on the level of Marin Coffee Roasters or Ralph & Rose. Still very drinkable and enjoyable, especially if you're settling in to work. What really sets this place apart is its personality. It doesn't feel like a cookie-cutter café or "insert minimalist coffee brand here." There's charm. Character. A little whiteboard with a joke about New Year's resolutions that made me smile. Small details, but they matter. Would I come back? Absolutely. I already did--twice. I'd recommend it especially for locals looking for a solid work spot, co-working with a friend, or anyone who wants to be productive without being bothered. If you're visiting Dallas briefly, this might not be a destination café--but if you're here for a bit and want a reliable, pleasant, sunny place to work and snack, this one's a yes.
