So after my anniversary errands I had ran today i literally was craving something I never eaten before....back then around this area I used to visit my loved one whom I cared deeply for before her passing last year... I ordered el Plato Tipico, it comes with a fresh tamal, 2 tacos and 1 chicharon pupusa adorned with their colorful coleslaw. The flavor was so delicious, im going back for more. the decor of the place...stop there, no decor, just tables packed tight, flat screens and everyone staring at the Spanish soap operas (novelas). You will know the name when you drive by because of the old neon signs, blue painted facade inside and out. Be prepared, the girl that serves you is new and bare speaks English but you can point tot the item on the menu and its in English. IM a fan because of the price and flavor of the food. read more

I got their fried tacos and pupusas to go. I didn't love my pupusas but maybe it was because I didn't eat it right away. However, the fried tacos which I did eat right away were truly incredible. Food is made fresh so be prepared to wait. I look forward to going back when nearby again. read more

Make sure you check your bill (and double check) to make sure they're not adding on bogus crap. Third time I've gone there and I've been sneakily charged for stuff. Great inexpensive place to come and devour all their food! My mother and I had pupusas, riguas, caldo de res, mariscada, and homemade tortillas for just $40. My mariscada wasn't the best but the size of the lobster compensated for it- we both had enough lobster meat (out of one lobster!) Mother loved her caldo de res, which says a lot since she's really passionate about food. Upon going in person with my little family, it was nice since they have expanded. They took over what used to be Panchito. Any ol' who, today we decided to order for delivery since the craving of pupusas was there. At 7:02pm we called for delivery. They came at 8:35pm. We literally live like 10 minutes or less from them so it should not have taken this long PLUS we only ordered some 5 pupusas plus a plate of "pollo asado con ajo". Apparently we were called back because they had run out of POLLO and can only give us "PECHUGA". We said that was fine since we really wanted the pollo asado. The order total was $20.65. When the delivery guy arrived, we were charged $23.40!!! Apparently, it was more because of the replacement of "POLLO" with "PECHUGA". The lady over the phone never told us it would cost us more. If anything, we would have just cancelled that meal and just wanted the pupusas. $3 extra for 3 chicken breasts versus a half a chicken? I am beyond myself right now. We had to chip in $4 more dollars for tip. It was just a pathetic situation and we never plan on ordering for delivery ever again. We will stick with going in person. read more

They recently moved a few businesses over, I miss the home-iness of the old establishment, but love that they now have a party hall and private area. The negative is First you have to seat yourself to a table and Second waitress doesn't know English (must point to what you want from the menu ) and Three the service sucks (I had 3 waitresses attend to my table.) Haven't been here in over a decade. Finally back, and not so impressed. The food is great but the service is subpar. The place opens at 1000 and the employees didn't show until 5-10 after. Not too big of a deal normally but they were literally opening the place up. Lights out, chairs on tables, kitchens cold, the whole nine. I had some food, a drink and some water. I finished both drinks and it took about 15 minutes before our server came back and asked if I wanted another drink. There were only 2 other tables being served btw. I've been craving pupusas for months and so was my sister who is pregnant. We decided to go with the kids before heading to the movies and let me just say that it was very unfriendly! We had to grab menus for ourselves and sit wherever we wanted because they didn't greet us. We ordered our drinks which came out in less than 10mins which was okay until we ordered our food. I have ordered from here before and it never took as long as it did yesterday. We waited 45 mins for our food and didn't even get some kind of curtesy to let us know that it was going to be running late. Mind you there were people arriving after us that were already getting their food. The food wasn't even pleasant I honestly felt like walking out. I was very unhappy with the pupusas and the horchata drink I ordered. I didn't want to leave a tip because the waitress could've at least been nicer but of course my sister left her a tip. I've never been so mad to pay $40 for the food we had. Which the kids could barely even finish. I don't think I'll be coming back after this kind of service. This place is great. It's super clean and staff are attentive. The food is ver good and tastes authentic! So far it's my favorite Central American place in this area. This isn't bias, I'm not even central American. The one thing I would say is that it would be nice to have an English fluent waitress since my Spanish isn't great.
