Located in the shopping center across Montage, La Sirena Grill is a fast causal Mexican spot offering delicious food at a reasonable price. Menu includes tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, enchiladas or taquitos plate, and salad. You order first at the counter, grab the salsa from the sauce bar, and then wait for your food at the table inside or outdoor patio. Service is good, and the portion is generous. I enjoyed the burrito, and the tortilla chips were really fresh. Good local spot and great place to grab a bite in the area.

Cute family owned spot serving a fresh and healthy twist on Mexican food. It's located in downtown Laguna, so perfect to grab something to eat on the beach. Cashier was very warm and welcoming, and helped me with my chicken burrito nowl. The tortilla chips were cantina style, and were perfectly thin and crispy. While I wouldn't say it's traditional Mexican food, it's a lighter way to indulge on those beach days. My bowl was loaded with thinly sliced cabbage, tomatoes, and the chicken was tender and delicious. They were also very generous with the guacamole, and it was probably the best tasting guacamole I've had from a restaurant. Will definitely return when I'm looking for a bite to eat in DT Laguna!

Great location--right across from the Montage and easy to swing by after hanging out at Treasure Island. I tried the carnitas, carne asada, and calamari tacos. The carnitas were solid with good flavor. The carne asada was a bit tough and kind of bland, not really doing it for me. The tortillas didn't hold up and kept falling apart, which made the tacos hard to eat. The calamari tacos had way too much guac--I could barely taste the calamari under it all. The complimentary chips and salsa bar were a nice touch, though! Fresh and flavorful. Overall, I'm glad I checked it out, but I've had better tacos elsewhere. Might be worth trying if you're in the area and curious.

Updating my review as I've seen a major increase in quality, menu updates and drink changes. I'm so happy that the classic favorites are still on the Laguna Beach South location as well as some new specials to try. The drink options for margaritas are some of my favorite and the cilantro lime salad still stands out as my favorite thing on the menu. I'm excited to come back regularly.

Fish taco plate was great, especially the sauce. Shrimp taco as well. Both came with chips and each salsa (mild, medium, hot) are good (green is my favorite). If you order on Toast ahead, go straight to where it says "pickup" past the line. Busy place with a bar, takeout and dine in (indoors and outdoors). Right above Treasure Island Beach which is gorgeous!

Stopped by randomly while stopping by a convenience store and my mom and I tried it. Asada is good. We got the nachos! I need to try a little bit more to give a full review but solid 4 for just the asada. A little skimpy on portion.

The fish of the day (Mahi Mahi) burrito bowl. SO GOOD!

We stopped here for a quick lunch as we drove into town. The guy behind the counter was really friendly but the other employees were distracted with setting up a new TV. My husband's burrito came out pretty quickly but after 10 min of waiting for my burrito bowl, I finally went up to the counter and asked him to grab it off the line for me because I could see it sitting there waiting to be brought out, (because everyone else was distracted with the new TV). I was annoyed by the time I finally got my food but after taking the first bite I got over it. The fish of the day burrito bowl was SO good! The flavor of the fish and the sauce was a perfect match and I devoured the entire thing. I highly recommend ordering it. My husband's burrito was also good but my meal was definitely better. The chips were a little stale but the guac was really fresh and good. I would go here again if we were in town.

What a cute spot! I always go to the one across the street from the Montage, this one is so quaint and you blink you miss it. The customer service here is amazing. Everyone is so attentive and the food comes out fast! We got a carne asada taco, a birria burrito, and a fish burrito. Our friend got the salmon salad with papaya. She said the dressing was really fresh and good. It's nice to know that this location is here for future laguna visits.

The chips are delicious!! Spritz with a little lime and they are perfect. Delicious with the choices from the salsa bar. Sour and cider were tasty. The Rita had a nice pour. Burrito with shrimp was tasty, Baja fish taco and crispy taco were delicious as well. We sat inside so you couldn't see the ocean but it was a good lunch choice. Quick service and plenty of inside and outside seating.

La Sirena never disappoints, and Eric's exceptional service made our recent visit unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, his warm smile and attentiveness set the tone for a great evening. Eric's menu recommendations, like the carne asada tacos and house margarita, were spot on, and he ensured our dietary preferences were thoughtfully accommodated. His balance of efficiency and genuine care made the experience feel effortless and personal. What truly sets Eric apart is his enthusiasm for creating a memorable dining experience. Gris as well was our server, and she was very thoughtful and helped us too! Whether offering interesting insights about the restaurant or checking in at just the right moments, he added a special touch that elevated our evening. La Sirena's delicious food and inviting ambiance are always a draw, but Eric's exceptional hospitality ensures we'll be back soon. The food is, AMAZING, and The service, amazing 10/10 stars

How did I not know about this place being a local? We had an evening meeting in the area and they suggested we eat dinner at La Sirena Grill. Service was very friendly. Atmosphere is casual and relaxed, very appropriate for the beach area. Salsa bar is fantastic!! The only reason I'm giving 4 star is the steak in my burrito was quite chewy but the flavors and other ingredients were great. I would absolutely come back!

The chips were super fresh and crispy, with just the right amount of salt. Their margarita was classic and simple in the best way, with a salt rim (my fav). I ordered their burrito bowl and they were able to add fajita veggies instead of a protein as a vegetarian option. This bowl was loaded - rice , beans, cheese, guac, veggies, cucumber, lettuce, and tortilla strips. Huge bowl and everything tasted so so good! The lettuce was tossed in a fresh lime dressing and the fajita veggies were spiced to perfection. Would def come here again. They made what could be so simple into an elevated meal. The sign said to wait to be seated, but my dad waited around for about 10 minutes without seeing anyone at the host stand. The bartender told him it was okay to go outside & find an available table, so we weren't trying to skip any rules...we were just following what we were told. When we finally spoke with the hostess, she explained she was trying to manage multiple tables, which was understandable, but the communication could have been a little clearer. Once we sat down, everything was great. The drinks were delicious, we enjoyed a quick snack with chips and guacamole, & the service was friendly & efficient. We didn't try the food, but it seems like a nice spot for a casual drink or quick bite. Overall, we had a good experience and would come back.

I ordered a Paloma and my newly fiancé ordered a spicy watermelon margarita. The drinks were pretty good. I preferred his over mine. The Paloma had a blood orange taste that was interesting. The margarita didn't have much of a spice still really good. I really enjoyed the complimentary chips and the trio salsa black bean dip. The salsa could have had a little more spice. Entrees: we ordered the enchiladas divorciadas and the filet taquitos, everything was really delicious. I especially loved the green sauce on the cheese enchilada and the mole was perfect. The taquitos were just as good with a great amount of guacamole. The portions were a decent size. Overall it was a great experience and price point.
