We ordered a mix of meats including the tri-tip, brisket, and ribs, along with several sides. Everything came out fresh and the meats were tender with a nice smoky flavor. The tri-tip was cooked well and had a good seasoning, the brisket was moist, and the ribs were meaty and easy to pull apart. The mac and cheese, potato salad, and coleslaw were all solid choices, and the garlic bread was a nice addition. Service was friendly and the staff were helpful when explaining the menu. Prices felt reasonable for the amount of food we received. Overall, a very good local BBQ spot that we'd be happy to come back to. Worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for quality barbecue without a long wait. Ambiance and staff were great too

The corn bread was pretty bad, beans were more like chile and not baked beans. I guess that's just a matter of preference, the ribs were pretty tough, brisket was actually very tender. Flavor on the ribs and brisket was good though. Mac n cheese was decent. Overall, it's just okay but the prices didn't reflect the quality. I probably wouldn't go back. Oh yeah, the workers decided to mop the floor 2 hours before closing with some super loud water rake and all anyone could hear was this rake dragging on the loud concrete. That was pretty annoying. Food was 3 stars, loud noise and expense dropped it to 2 stars.

When I asked him where he got the ribs, he said Famous Dave's. I knew that I had to try them out for myself. It was always one thing after another, but finally, I had time on a Wednesday afternoon. I didnt want to deal with a crowd and when I went, it was perfect. We were seated right away. Our service was Yanira and she was awesome. So friendly, answering all of our questions. I got the ribs and meat meal since I also wanted to try their chopped pork. My sides were Mac and Cheese and Tater Tots. When my order came, I got their special fries and before I could even say anything, another server came with a bowl of my tater tots apologizing for the mistake. No complaints here since I got another side. Everything was delicious. The ribs were tender. I also loved their BBQ sauce. I was going to order water, but since it was a special occassion, i ordered a Dr. Pepper and I was surprised that it came in a large mason glass jar. The Dr. Pepper wasn't peppering.....if you know you know, it just didnt taste strong, but I did enjoy that the drink was ice cold. They dont have coke, but serve pepsi products. The cornbread was perfection, warm and buttery. Disclaimer, the Mac and Cheese had corn in it, just stating if you care about that sort of thing. It was more on the saucy cheesy side. I never had Mac and Cheese like that, but since I love Mac and Cheese and I love corn so it was hit in my world. Portions are huge and I had to take some food home. Prices seem comparable to other places that serve BBQ. Lots of seating areas and I can see on special occasions or on the weekends, this place could get packed. Plenty of parking. This restaurant is off Winton, in the area where Panera is at. If you go all the way to the mall you have gone too far. I know that I will be coming back, I am curious to try their burnt tips. They have a loyalty program. You can sign up before, it is simple, or sign up there as you are eating.

Although I'm not used to buying by the pound, prices seemed fair and straightforward. Roast pork and pork belly were being sold at $17 per pound. BBQ pork and pork ribs were at $14.99 per pound. A whole roast duck went for $30 (half for $16), and a whole chicken for $28 (half for $15). It was hard to see any of the meat because of all the flyers covering the glass. Regardless, I snuck a peek at the roast pork and ordered a full pound. The butcher was on automatic pilot and ended up chopping about 1-3/4 pounds. After she put the pork on the scale, I agreed to the overage, and she charged me a flat $30, which to her credit, was just a quarter over the price (photo: https://bit.ly/3ndWYwK). When I got it home for Jamie W. and me, we frankly liked the fatty-tasty flavor and hard crunchy skin. We had enough leftovers for an army of bulimic supermodels. Not that many of them left. 2) The new immigrants LOVE animal fat & MSG. These are the younger folks that have green notes to spend. I have been going from one Chinese BBQ shops to another for the last few years. None of those even heard of LEAN BBQ pork. I know about this place for many years. I never bother to check because of their cash policy. I haven't have a wallet for almost 10 years & I use Apple Pay for everything. I bought a pound of LEAN BBQ pork today & a chicken today. Always love their prime rib I think medium was perfect for me But for two people, I think the appetizer was a little too much Also, we ordered the regular margaritas and sangria margarita with extra patron shot for three dollars more Overall, the experience was nice It just I know it's probably a line waiting But we were in the restaurant for less than one hour. Still holding a lot of food on the table. The staffs come in check on us couple times. The way is friendly, but still we know they're probably trying to rush us so they want to give us the boxes and want us to pack it. Take it home. While we were still eating. I think asking for one time it's OK but when you ask more than one time and obviously we still have a lot of food and we did not showing that we are finishing. Maybe next time a less pushy experience will be better Our food is approximately $100 and up for two people. We also ordered cocktails. So we are taking our time. the portions were big. But overall, we like the food everyone is friend. I recommended this place

Bruh, I was going to comment that the hours are silly on this Yelp page, went to go double check…read moretheir Google page and apparently it's permanently closed? I'm gonna check with my NorCal moots about this but sucks if that's true. I was going to comment on how this is one of few bastions of affordable, slightly more unique food in the bay area, but I guess that's not the case. I'm spoiled by having a Dollar Hits in SoCal literally down the street from me so I can't say this place compares, but it's at least an option for NorCal, you know? This definitely used to be another restaurant, but then retrofitted to be a grill. Super large grill in the middle for everyone to communally cook at indoors. This is a good combination between the outdoors grill it yourself and the indoors seating of both the SoCal Dollar Hits, so I thought that was nice. They have all the classics here, isaw (sometimes Dollar Hits doesn't have this unless you request -it's chicken intestines), large intestines, chicken skin, kwek kwek (battered quail eggs), and Tender Juicy bright red filipino hot dogs (a must). You can also order a side of rice and the sauces were self serve (made it a bit sticky). It gets a bit smoky in there even with the fans, but overall had an enjoyable time the time when I did visit.

The food on the sticks does not compare at all to other places I've had it especially the Philippines. The fish ball and lobster balls were dry and needing the fish ball sauce which they didn't have. Only sauce I did find that they say was an all around sauce was pretty much a watered down mang Tomas sauce. The bbq stick was rubber and way too sweet. The chicharon bulaklak was also rubber and not crunchy at all. The kikiam was okay. The isaw was not good at all, it lack seasoning. The shumai was dry. Service was you pretty much get what you want and heat it up yourself. Place was empty as there wasn't much people. Definitely first and last time coming here.
