    $29 mix plate
    Ed W.

I've eaten here before when they just opened. Today's lunch experience was really disappointing. Although the food is decent, the service is a reason I won't come back. It's a self serve style food bar. You can tell the main server/ carver hates his job and doesn't want to be there. He doesn't wear gloves, his uniform appears to be filthy and he had a toothpick in his mouth while eating something. You can literally see his overhanging belly because his shirt is too short. Picture someone serving you food, looking unsanitary, with an attitude and eating at the same time. And the price for 1 mix plate was just under $29. For that price, you can go to a brazilian churrascaria restaurant for a little bit more on their weekday lunch. You get much better food, service and it's all you can eat. But like I said, the food is good for fast food Brazilian, but you add the bad service, it's not a good value at $29 for 1 plate.

One of the better mall foods I've had! A bit pricy but the food is fresh and worth it. My fiancé and I had lunch here before shopping, the price is per pound so they weigh everything after you self serve the veggies. Meat is cut by the employee and can get as much as you want. The garlic chicken was bomb, good garlic flavor and chicken was charred. Top sirloin was lean but could have been salted. My favorite side was the Cole slaw, fresh and vinegary. Overall a semi healthy place to get food at Ontario mills. Would love to try the other meats my next visit.

My apologies. I didn't leave one bite that's how good it was!!

Wow, I was very impressed. I needed a meal with a salad and some type of protein and I got exactly what I needed. I got the Beet salad and Kale salad as sides, for the meats I got the Beef Sirloin cap and the Garlic Beef medium-rare with a side of their Habanero Salsa! I was not disappointed! I definitely will be back for a lunch or a dinner. Finished off with a bottle of cold water!

Wow! Bombastic delicious Brazilian food delivered quickly and straight to my home. Even though it's at a food court the quality of this food is amazing. You must try their top sirloin cap and their cheesy breads! They also have Guarana soda drinks.

I haven't had much Brazilian food but I was excited to try this place inside the Ontario Mills food court. They sell the food by the pound, they do have a price of salad or sides only price. I wanted to try the meat selection along with the side salads and rice they made. You choose your own portions of various salads, a chicken salad, and roasted vegetables. They had two types of rice, black beans, collard greens, garlic mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, beef stew, pasta, fried plantains, Brazilian cheese bread (Pão de queijo), and empanadas. They cut the meat to how many portions you want. They weigh it and they carry Jamaica, soda fountain, and canned Brazilian drinks. The food was not too salty, I did like the salads and the sausage chicken thigh, and top sirloin were moist and seasoned nicely. They have a hot sauce that went well with the meat. The staff was nice and the place was clean.

Cool new place at the food court in Ontario mills. If you are craving Brazilian food then this place has a wide variety for you to choose from. At $12.85 per pound you can select various meats as well as sides. We got the garlic beef (which was OK), tasty chicken, and sirloin (super good). Overall I'd give 4 stars. Staff is fine. Place is clean. I also got a can of their diet guarana for $3.25. Will definitely come back again soon.

I like Brazilian Meat! The Sirloin Gallic taste good. And in 1 Pound, I can add some salad and especially the potato is good. it is different from French fried

Excited to see fast casual Brazilian open up here. Have been to Pampas in LA and that is the standard. Pretty good here, got top sirloin, garlic beef, sausage and chicken thigh. Everything was moist and flavorful. Except the garlic beef, that was tough and dry. The salad selections were nice as well, rice and beans, garlic mash, beet salad, etc... Prices are not cheap, but kind of standard for brazilian bbq. They charge by the pound, $12.85 for meat and salad (lower for just salad $9.65) and higher for meat $16.95). My plate was around $20 and had to get a Guarana soda, which was another $3.25.

I haven't had much Brazilian food before but this place opened up my interest to try more. I liked the setup of a buffet style when picking out your food. I was able to try a small portion of some stuff I had never heard of. Such as their cheese bread. Yet, stale since it was sitting out. The fried plantains were amazing though. So just keep in mind the sides might have gone down in quality due to sitting out. After piling some sides onto your plate, you can pick out some meat that did not disappoint. I got the chicken thigh. They then cut off as much as you want. I would say the meat is the best part of this place. The price was a bit more than I expected, yet overall, a pleasant experience.

Black beans and rice. Top sirloin. Sausage. 2 cheese breads. And garlic chicken.

Food is good but if they think $50 a plate in a food court is ethical they are mistaken. Robbing people in this economy. Also they are falsely advertising their menu. Serving "Italian sausage" as Portuguese sausage. Quit being disrespectful to the culture. I went to the counter to address the situation and the manager did not care that it is falsely advertised

My husband ordered the brisket with potato salad and creamed corn, along with a side of the jalapeño cheddar sausage. He took a couple bites of the brisket and immediately said it tasted like straight propane and was basically inedible. I tried it myself thinking maybe he was exaggerating, but unfortunately I completely agreed. There was a really strong propane/burnt taste to it. I went up to the cashier just to give her a heads up so they could double check what was going on with the brisket. She was actually very kind and offered us a full refund for the plate, which we really appreciated. We had no issues with the sausage. Unfortunately, not long after we got home, we both started feeling sick. My husband was throwing up throughout the night, and I had pretty bad stomach pains. Obviously I can't say for certain what caused it, but the timing was definitely concerning. That said, I do want to give them credit for how they handled the situation. The cashier was very nice and made things right without any hassle. Staff were all very friendly. Hopefully this was just a one off because we'd still like to give them another try and hopefully have a much better experience next time.

I said, "I can tell you, but I think it's best I show you." My son and I walked into what seemed like an old Chinese food buffet not too far from the new Tower Buzzers stadium. It was larger than I imagined, but it needed to be. You could smell the flavors right from the front door. I tried to order based on what I had seen on their website, but it turns out their options have changed a bit, so we went with the party wings and the dozen shrimp plate. Shrimp Plate: For the first time in a loooooong time, I had juicy shrimp. I had long lost hope of finding a juicy shrimp on account of most places will overcook them and give you what amounts to breading shells with empty space where the shrimp used to be. The shrimp at NYMK is juicy and the breading has to be a family secret. Party Wings: My son swears by these. He can't have any other wings, now. He loved the mac and cheese - especially when you add a little of the hot sauce to the mac and cheese. After his meal, I told him, "This is your first taste of Soul Food. It can be considered Southern food, but it has its own spices. It has its own history. It's own heart and soul. It stands on its own." I can't recommend this place enough for those folks looking to enjoy something way different than what the IE provides.

I just agree with the statement earlier that there are better rice bowl, hawaiian, and/or teriyaki food joints in the area at either a much better quality or better pricing. This seems to find that line where what you get, though good, is a bit over-priced for what you get and there is no recourse to get something smaller because then you will be over-paying and still hungry.
