I probably should have gotten 1 plate for salad bar and 1 plate for meat. I was charged the salad and meat plate but as you can see most of the food was salad bar. I will say most Brazilian food is pretty pricey so this place is pretty consistent with what I've experienced. It's easy access and everything tastes really good. After eating, we went back to shopping, but I started experiencing sharp stomach discomfort and we decided it was best for us to head home. I tried a few things to feel better, but the discomfort lasted most of the night, and I didn't start feeling more like myself until the following afternoon. I've eaten here before when they just opened. Today's lunch experience was really disappointing. Although the food is decent, the service is a reason I won't come back. It's a self serve style food bar. You can tell the main server/ carver hates his job and doesn't want to be there. He doesn't wear gloves, his uniform appears to be filthy and he had a toothpick in his mouth while eating something. You can literally see his overhanging belly because his shirt is too short. Picture someone serving you food, looking unsanitary, with an attitude and eating at the same time. And the price for 1 mix plate was just under $29. For that price, you can go to a brazilian churrascaria restaurant for a little bit more on their weekday lunch. You get much better food, service and it's all you can eat. I wanted to try the meat selection along with the side salads and rice they made. You choose your own portions of various salads, a chicken salad, and roasted vegetables. They had two types of rice, black beans, collard greens, garlic mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, beef stew, pasta, fried plantains, Brazilian cheese bread (Pão de queijo), and empanadas. They cut the meat to how many portions you want. They weigh it and they carry Jamaica, soda fountain, and canned Brazilian drinks. The food was not too salty, I did like the salads and the sausage chicken thigh, and top sirloin were moist and seasoned nicely. They have a hot sauce that went well with the meat. It's like Fogo de Chao but scaled down for a mall and a fast-moving lunch line. The employees are patient with you as you make your choices. They very kindly explained to me what each sauce and powder tasted like and which meat they paired best with. However, keep an eye on the parts of the meat they cut for you. Most of the time, they give you great parts of the beef. However there are other times, to the unsuspecting eye, they slice you what looks like a good hunk of meat that you'll realize later on when you return to your seat is just charred fat. That's not ok, especially since they charge based on weight. The sides are so good though, like the beet salad, sautéed vegetables, potato salad and fried rice. The meat is seasoned well and they can cater the level of doneness to your liking. Please don't get it well done. Medium rare to medium will leave you with soft enough meat. I can guarantee you'll have an explosion of flavor on your plate no matter what you choose. Decided to try this place because it smelled really good as we were passing by. I got the chicken thighs and my husband got garlic beef And we both got different sides. The chicken was extremely dry which is crazy because they're thighs and were really small. The beef was so salty it was not appetizing. And the side were mediocre at best. My son has been talking about this place for a month. This is the perfect alternative to Texas De Brazil at a fraction of the price. You pay for your meal by the pound. Meat weighs more than salad. It's pretty simple and it's worth the price. Especially comparatively to the above mentioned spot. There's six or seven meats here which is plenty for a faster meal. They serve them at your discretion so you get what you pay for obviously. The sides were all really good.
