Wow! Go between 10-12 when they have music - the singer/ DJ was SO amazingly talented! If he doesn't end up famous, I'll be shocked. The food was so flavorful and tasty - we had the mojarra, a torta (huge), tacos and a breakfast plate and they were all great. The cafe de olla was perfect without creamer and I'm not a black coffee person but it was really tasty. I recommend this to anyone who grew up with el Chavo - nice throwback to the 80's for me. I grew up watching this show with my dad. I found out about it a couple of weeks ago through social media and realized that Father's Day was coming up. I immediately went home and told him about it so we made a plan to go with the family and celebrate Father's Day. Seeing how happy my dad was experiencing this Chavo Del 8 themed restaurant was everything. I will say that the customer service was excellent. Our server was amazing and extremely accommodating. Multiple employees came up to us and checked on us multiple times. The theme was spot on, but there were a few things that weren't to my liking. The place is located in a more humble area in town and given the theme I didn't expect anything fancy, but it just smelled really bad. When you've been waiting 40 min plus and you're starving the last thing you want is to have a bad odor around when your food arrives. When the food finally does arrive for the price I expect something extremely delicious and although they were good tacos they were not quality tacos plus they were kind of cold. We ordered a taco hat that consisted of 50 tacos for a total of five of us. We had some left over tacos and the next morning the tacos smelled horrible. We simply could not eat the leftovers it's like they went bad in less than 24 hours. I truly believe this restaurant is worth experiencing if you're a fan of Chavo del 8. I would say stay away from the taco hat & def ask when their times are less busy. read more

This is our authentic local go to Mexican Restaurant. Also, the very first we visited after Vegas moved to Phase 2 after Quarantine. When you walk inside, the first thing you will see is a table with hand sanitizers. The servers are all wearing masks. If you forgot your mask, they have a little store inside where you can buy 1. The price and portion of the food, is about right. When dining, you will enjoy the fresh tortilla chips and salsa, the fresh tortilla which accompanies some of the food. And don't forgetto order and try their fresh Jamaica and Horchata drinks. The food we ordered, El chapo carnitas, Hawaiians Alambres, Chicken Quesadilla, and Super Torta Cubana, are all tasty and flavorful. I must say, the Super Torta Cubana is a must try either for the challenge or just curiosity. Don't forget the delicious desserts, churros and fried ice cream.
