I took my family here because they were visiting Vegas and they saw this place on tik tok. We all LOVE El Chavo so I agreed. The parking is great since the plaza itself is pretty lonely. So make sure if you're there while it's dark to be aware of your surroundings. We were there in the afternoon and it's July so it's HOT. When we arrived and put our names down we were told to go wait OUTSIDE. Now my grandma was with us and we don't leave her anywhere alone for reasons. The lady told us to sit her down there but the rest of us had to wait outside. The area we were in had empty tables so we bothered no one. So keep in mind they may make you wait outside in the heat. The rest of my family wasn't there yet so I argued to stay inside and they arrived before we had to go out in the sun so we were seated. The ambiance is pretty cool because we are fans of El Chavo but the restaurant itself had a smell. Like old oil and it was present from the moment we arrived. We were a group of ten so we all got different things. Personally the food is ok. It's not spectacular nor memorable. Everyone had the same reactions to their food so we will not be returning. A server told us that on Sundays they all dress up which is cool but I will not be there to see it read more

This place is a hidden gem! Their menu has plenty of delicious option, but it's not overwhelming. I've had the chicken taco salad and the wet chicken and nopal burrito. Both were great! The meat is perfectly seasoned and cooked right. Not dry! I asked for nopal on both meals and they were very accommodating. No extra charges. The food is authentic and the place is family owned. The prices are more than fair, portions are plentiful, the restaurant is vibrant and clean, and the staff is friendly. The only thing I would advise the owner is to train their staff on the Yelp discounts when checking in, whether it is available or not. I've been there twice and both times the waitress did not know about. I'll keep coming back here and try out their other food items! read more

Excellent authentic food! We were visiting from California and knew this was a must try. The entire restaurant and its theme was awesome. We had the privilege of meeting the owner who was very appreciative and sincere welcoming us. The hand made corn tortillas were excellent !!! Man!!!! This place is 150 out of 100!! The ambience, service, and the food was amazing! We started with the Cafe de Olla con una concha and agua de jamaica! The Jamaica was perfect and tasted fresh. They had chips and salsa ready for us on the table. The salsa was very flavorful with cilantro and onion. It was good! We ordered the chilaquiles con huevo and the carne en su jugo. They were both super delicious and I would definitely order again!! I ordered a mini carne asada torta (which was not mini, but I did not complain). Make sure you come hungry because it is a lot of food. The service was freaking awesome and I would say almost every server that walked by made sure we had all we needed. We found this place on Instagram so we went to check it out. When we walked in it was a little warm and looks like they are using a small portable a/c, not sure if their a/c was working. We ordered a appetizer The queso fundido with chorizo which was very good. It was probably the best one I have had in Vegas. I ordered the molejete. The chili was spicy but not to spicy. It comes with chorizo but I am not a big fan so they let me Substitute for carne Asada. It came with rice beans and homemade tortillas that they make in house. We also The food was amazing. We tried this family owed restaurant on a recent three day Vegas trip. We had it on our list of places to try. We typically make it a point to try one different small business spot per day on our Vegas trips. We get to the location and it's not in the better part of town. We noticed that there were plenty of cars parked outside. We park and go inside we were greeted. The lady was very nice, asked for the name and my wife gave it. The first thing we noticed was how loud it was inside. Loud because they had a man karaoke. He was walking around with a mic and a guitar and they just so happened to seat us right next to the speakers. I get the guy is making a few bucks. He went to every table asking for tips and said they were totally voluntary. Come to find out we went during the time the guy karaoke's at the place. Which is a couple of hours I believe. I personally would of preferred some peace and quite. Well it came time to order our food and let me tell you that was a struggle. The music was so loud that we couldn't hear our server. We were basically yelling so we can order our food. Which was Chilaquiles torta for me and Chilaquiles with beans and rice and eggs for my wife. Well our food arrived and I have to admit it was pretty fast. The sad part was that we were expecting more from this place. The Chilaquiles torta was ok just ok the green sauce was the highlight of my dish. My wife's Chilaquiles with beans and rice and eggs were also just ok. The beans and rice needed help. They needed flavor, very bland. The prices were on the higher side for the food we ordered in our opinion. Will we make it a point to stop by and eat again at this establishment?
