From what I read, they were originally at a dif location, but moved to this new spot. There is a parking lot. The place was spacious, good amount of seating, and very green/lots of plants. Felt cozy. I got the kaya toast set, beef rendang nasilemak set and the curry puffs. You can pick either kopi or teh for the sets. I got one of each to try, they were strongggg, and not very sweet. Personally, I would've liked it to be a little sweeter. Aside from that, everything was presented nicely, good flavor, and good portions. The meal was comforting! I got there almost 12 and it wasn't very busy, but got quite busy by the time we left. Since they were busy, it took awhile to get attention/get the bill. I love the vibe, not fussy, but details matter- Heath Ceramics, Le Creuset pots for cioppino, heavy silverware, substantial napkins- everything feels easy but the details let you know they pay attention. We always start with the Vesper martini, their entire cocktail and wine service is impressive, but the Vesper hits. Homemade sourdough starts every meal, supposedly the starter has been the same for years, I mean this is the Bay Area, we know sourdough, and no complaints. Oysters of course, very fresh, great selection, not just the basic kumotos you find at most places, really unique finds. As far as the food, we've never had anything we didn't like, typically we lean towards seafood and salads, but we've also had the burger and the BLT. One other note, my step-daughter just got off the plane from NYC and the first place she wanted to go was Clark's for a cup of their clam chowder- it's that good. I live in the East Bay and I will happily drive to the Peninsula to eat here.

The shellfish here is also damn good. That clam linguine is a guilty pleasure. It's got just the right amount of cream in it leaving the sauce light and nuanced with harmonious flavors. The mussels and clams go perfect with the grilled sourdough for dipping in the broth. Ask for the spicy oil. Omg I want to put it in everything! I never order crab cakes. Because they're usually breaded up with the actual crab meat taking a back seat but not at Clark's! It's all tasty crab meat with almost no casing if any. I only order crab cakes here. If you crave dessert, this is the place also. I'm not a huge dessert person, but I enjoy their sweet treats. Sometimes they have special desserts also like that berry cheesecake. The freshly baked bread is a nice take home for lunch. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I know their jobs are very busy and they work hard. It doesn't go unnoticed. HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS!!!…read more I am writing this review to both warn other customers and so that management sees this. I was at the MP location earlier this week and saw not one but TWO health code violations committed by employees. First, one of the ladies was drinking out of an open cup at the front where the food and beverages are prepared. This is against the health code! 113977. (a) Except as specified in subdivision (b), an employee shall eat or drink only in designated areas where contamination of nonprepackaged food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; unwrapped single-use articles; or other items needing protection cannot result. (b) A food employee may drink from a closed beverage container if the container is handled to prevent contamination of the employee's hands, the container, nonprepackaged food, and food-contact surfaces. The employee (brown hair in a ponytail, wearing grey Adidas) was frequently drinking a pink drink from a clear open cup behind the counter where the pastries are! Also, I saw the male employee behind the counter sneeze and use his bare hand to cover his sneeze. He rubbed his nose and sniffed. I was watching him from my table to make sure that he washed his hands. He went over to the sink behind the cash register and I kid you not, he turned on the water and for literally ONE SECOND put his hands under it. He then wiped his hands together to dry them. HE DID NOT USE SOAP TO WASH HIS HANDS AFTER SNEEZING INTO THEM!!!! Article 4. Handwashing 113953.3. (a) (2) After touching bare human body parts other than clean hands and clean, exposed portions of arms. (5) After coughing, sneezing, using a handkerchief or disposable tissue, using tobacco, eating, or drinking. He then went back to work grabbing customers' pastries. I'd really love for management to please have a word with staff/review training and protocols - please don't respond to this review with the canned "Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have addressed this with our staff and we will take your comments into consideration." Please actually DO SOMETHING and ensure that all of your staff follow proper health code laws! If you don't mind eating at later hours, you might be able to grab a reservation ~a week out (aside from major holidays). The vibe and service here is upscale comfort, a perfect spot for date night, or dining with an intimate group of friends. Parking is easy to find on the street or in the lot behind the restaurant. The top dishes I enjoyed across the two visits: 1) Must-try: Scallion croissant, rou song butter - yummy (subtle) flavors and delicious textures 2) Both the small bites were yummy, including the chicken liver w/pineapple & cilantro, and wagyu beef tartare tartlet w/smoked soy. 3) If you like wagyu / beef, get the Wagyu Kalbi & Banchan and don't forget the Ssam side order. Sure, it's a bit pricey but worth it. I love my greens and begrudgingly ordered a Ssam side order to go with the Wagyu Kalbi. It just feels like the Ssam should come with the Kalbi dish, y'know? But I was very glad I ordered the Ssam. It comes with several sets of carefully curated and washed/dried leaves (3 types) and they were perfect with the Wagyu Kalbi. 4) Lu Rou Lasagna was unique and yummy too. I would definitely return to Yeobo Darling - for special occasions, or when we feel like treating ourselves to some Taiwanese-Korean fusion fare.
