The bottles service here its so good, the staff so friendly, the best place in DTSJ. Evert time I come, the staff is so accommodating and makes great recommendations. I always have a great time here. If possible get bottle service because it is always packed in here.

Good cocktails and music! Everything else? Not so good! I came to Labyrinth to celebrate my birthday, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend coming before 10 pm for happy hour, as they do 50% off cocktails as long as you order a food item. I got the Black Samurai, and it was amazing. Once the club started, things started going downhill. I was told my table reservation got cancelled because I didn't order bottle service right away (for context, I told the servers I wanted to wait until my whole party arrived, and they didn't mention any issue with it). The server ended up apologizing for the mistake, but that left me and all my friends in the middle of an overly packed club. The crowd control was terrible. The entirety of Labyrinth was practically a massive mosh pit; it was hard to move, let alone dance, since everyone was squished together. We ended up leaving early because it got so chaotic and uncomfortable, even my friend had hearing loss concerns due to the loud music. I debated giving this place a one-star review, but I will refrain since I still had a memorable birthday. Despite the circumstance, my friends and I still had fun trying cocktails and grooving to the music. After all, Labyrinth is the top clubbing spot in the South Bay, I'd still recommend it. Thought I'd share my experience so people are well informed.

The line outside moves pretty fast but when you get in, it is way too packed. Barely any room to move around, feels like a can of sardines. Fortunately, there are two exits so you can easily make it out if you are trying to leave. Our group tried to get drinks at the bar which took a while to get the bartenders attention. The music was standard, throwbacks + recent pop songs. Vibes were decent, wouldn't say it's my favorite.

0 stars. Bartender came up to me said she would be right back. Watched her walk out side with the rest of the bartending staff. Waited 20 minutes and they were still outside chatting. Will spend my money at a bar that's actually wants to sell's drinks.

My new favorite place is next to my already favorite place (The Club on Post). Labyrinth is my favorite place to go during happy hour. Drinks and appetizers are usually buy one get one half off. The music is always great and quiet if you're going between opening and 8pm. The drinks are my favorite also. Just go.

Good drinks, good music, super chill bartenders. Tables are bottle service only technically, but you can sit there until they're taken. Not much room for an official dancefloor, but enough space to make it work.

I have never tried their food here, so I cannot judge that. I've always been here after their kitchen has closed just for drinks and music. Around the early evenings, this place is chill - definitely a vibe for starting out the night. Around the late evenings is where it can be very packed. Lines would always form outside. In order to get a drink at the bar, you'll really have to squeeze through people. Most seats are reserved. These are very typical for a popular bar, but it's packed for many good reasons. The music is great - people are always dancing, almost as if the place is an actual club. One of my favorite drinks here is the Black Samurai which is a lychee-flavored cocktail. It is so good! Despite being really chaotic, the bartenders are very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. This place is quite small, so it does get packed really fast. When bar hopping around the area, this bar is a great place to start.

Thinh is the absolute best at slow-cooking his Yakatori. He gets it just right to perfection every single time. I would recommend it with lots of garlic sauce. It kind of tastes like your taste buds are colliding with the deep intensity of 1000 red suns. The BBQ Hoisin sauce is absolutely other-worldly. It leaves me feeling like I went through a labyrinth and back when I am done eating. I would also recommend trying all of the different beers they have on tap. They are absolutely savory and they even carry my favorite beer, The Panty Dropper. Amazing place to hang out if you are in Downtown San Jose and are craving Asian Fusion. read more

Welcome to the bar where the bartenders are too drunk to tend to customers and make drinks! Honestly the owners of this place should really check their bartenders consider what I saw this evening. It was extremely scary seeing an employee who is suppose to be serving alcohol too intoxicated to serve customers.. like really scary. The girl couldn't even pour a shot without spilling, let alone make drink and stand up straight. read more

Labyrinth is a new upcoming bar/restaurant located in down town San Jose. It's located near the "triangle" on Post St. right next to Splash. The employees and owners are all very nice and welcoming making every visit a pleasant one. They serve a variety of original cocktails that are unique which really contributes to the thought and effort that has gone into them. Be careful...these pretty drinks can creep up on you! The Lab has quickly become San Jose's go-to spot due to the amazing service, atmosphere and great music! They've just released part of their menu and I've had the luxury of trying almost all the items. All items on the menu are yummy but my favorites were the Brussels sprouts, smoked Hamachi shooters (literally still have smoke coming out of the cups), chicken wings and Yakisea noodles. But... THE STRAWBERRY CORNBREAD is an absolute game changer. If y'all are a cornbread lover like myself, you wont be disappointed! The chef was really careful with presentation and it definitely doesn't go unnoticed! Each plate was constructed beautifully. I'm sure they have more exciting items joining the menu in the future so I cant wait! I don't believe they're officially open to the public yet, but my cousin knows the people who runs it and so we got a chance to hangout inside one night. I love the interior décor, it's very sleek, clean, and minimalistic. Took way too many shots so I don't really remember much, but I'm really looking forward to them officially opening! read more

Was here last Thursday and had a great time. Planning on frequenting this place more often! Music is excellent, cocktails are delicious, sadly no food but this is a perfect spot to stop at before a meal or after. They handcraft lots of there own unique recipes and the bartenders serve you promptly. Lisa made the night so much more enjoyable for our group of friends and took away the tension we suffered from work. Thanks so much! read more

I stopped in for a friends birthday yesterday without any knowledge or expectations of this place. I was pleasantly surprised after my visit. The decor and menus are very thought out and the Gin cocktails are a some of the best I've ever had. Try them, even if you are hesitant. Staff was kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful. I got an opportunity to meet one of the partners Pete and he made my friends and myself feel more than welcome. Nice seeing good business owners caring more their brand, than dollar bills. Very excited to see what they have planned for the future. A great addition to the flourishing 1st St. block in downtown. read more

I was so excited to try the food at this place. Asian-fusion is kinda my jam! I went in tonight and there was a jovial, good looking crowd, the food looked amazing. Unfortunately, the music was so loud and the acoustics were so horrific that I felt I had to leave immediately. My date and I found a little table in the corner that was a bit quieter (still too loud, but relatively less obnoxious) We were about to try and weather the audio assault in the far corner when the doorman got up on a stool, fiddled with the speaker connection and BOOM! We're in it again. I'm gonna keep coming by (maybe earlier?) In hopes of checking this new hot spot out. I will update soon. read more

we went there to celebrate my birthday. we got there during the happy hour which includes bottle service. we got a bottle... when we asked for a 2nd bottle, they kept telling us they were sold out.. How are you going to be sold out of bottles on a Friday night at 8pm !!! Clearly they just didn't want to sell us a 2nd bottle on happy hour prices (50% off).. they didn't have to lie tho. maybe include a 1 bottle limit on your menu so you don't have to lie to guest??.. someone must have gone to get bottles because as soon as the happy hour was over, all the bottles magically appeared. it's a cute little bar. don't think I'll come back tho. read more

I'm Roxxy Andrews and I'm here to make it clear JK, I normally don't order bar food because it's either not enough or just plain mediocre food. However, their simple delicious small yet not small plates are something that you shouldn't pass up. I had their street tacos, kimchi nacho fries and salmon poke but the cheeseburger spring rolls (let that sink in) is a real show stopper on the menu. Food doesn't have to overly fancy or over the top to taste good. So if you want bar food with actually thought, love and taste that went into it then consider stopping by. You might be drunk but that doesn't mean you still don't deserve good food from the moment they open till the moment they close, just saying. read more

Unlike many other bar and grills who make overpriced, small portioned, and subpar food, Labyrinth creates amazing tasting food, and portions that are pretty hefty to where I was full by the end. The menu is a very interesting take on American/Asian/Hawaiian/Mexican food such as hamburger spring rolls, poke nachos with shrimp and wonton chips, and bulgogi tacos. What I loved was the plate presentation for the hamburger spring rolls as it's set up in similar fashion to ordering egg rolls at your local Vietnamese pho restaurant, complete with lettuce, onions, and jalapeños. Honestly, 11/10 would recommend. read more

A solid spot for some drinks and light food on a Friday night! We had four dishes among our group - the Sweet Melody, hamachi shooters, chicken wings, and potato jar. All of them I would have again. They gave us a little sample taster of the Sweet Melody dish (Chashu pork belly, cilantro, gochujang and cucumber, among other ingredients) and it was so good we decided to get the main dish. Venue is super cute! We rented the venue for a private event and it was perfect! The owners were super flexible, reasonable, and open to most of our request. I would definitely recommended the venue for private events since it's in a centralized location + you can def bar hop for the after party! read more

The Lab is definitely the new hottest spot in town! I love how modern this place feels. The ambiance is on point! The bar is clean and spacious. It does get crowded, but the layout does not feel cramped. The cocktails are well made and the bartenders will customize. All the staff was friendly as well. I had a great time hanging with friends at the bar and will be back for sure. read more

We were too late on our visit, but they do have a daily happy hour that includes some of the skewers and fries, as well as some drinks and shots. Service was super friendly and vibes and music were great! Cocktails, weren't the best since they were on tap, but still good enough! I would absolutely come back here for a drink and snack though!

I usually avoid ordering briskets since most BBQ places in San Jose that I've been to have made them very dry. There was only one piece that wasn't juicy which I expected since it had no fat on it. It was still tender and not dried out. The ribs were also good. It was tender and didn't stick to the bone as much but it wasn't as tender where it just slides off the bone. The seasoning on the ribs was neutral and the BBQ Pit have their own special bbq sauce (regular and spicy) which goes well with the meat. My wife ordered the tri tip salad and she enjoyed it. I stole some of her greens to balance the meat and beer and the veggies were fresh. The salad came with cornbread but I didn't try it. On my second visit, I decided to get the tri tip woith a side of baked potato and coleslaw. The baked potato was $3 extra. The tri tip had really good flavor and texture. It ripped apart easily when pulling. The coleslaw was ok. I might get the mac and cheese or beans next time. My wife ate the baked potato and ate most of it. I tried a little bit where it was just the potato and it was not overcooked and not too undercooked. It was easy to scoop with the fork without too much effort. If you are in the area and craving for BBQ, I highly recommend trying this place. The portion is not as big as BBQ joints in Texas or KC but they are on par with the ones around San Jose. The pricing is decent and like I mentioned, is also on par to San Jose pricing. If you have a big group, there are plenty of tables to accommodate folks. The location is close to the highway so that's a plus. The staff is very helpful and will give you a good recommendation if you are debating on what to order.

It started with some bad news within my personal life. I was down and out. My friends wanted to take me out. I guess one of my friends frequent this establishment and said I would have a good time. We got a table and this young lady help us out. Food and drinks started to come out. Food was surprisingly good but tbh I just wasn't myself. The more drinks I was having, the more of a wreck I was. The same young lady who help us started noticing. Her name was Jackie. She started asking if I was having a good time and I said no. She then said "you're already out, you might as well make the best out of it." She was right, WTH am I doing. I continue to change my vibe. She even bought a few drink for me. What a nice soul she was. That night was wild though. I guess there was a lot of loud noises in downtown and I found a lost dog scared. I took home the lost dog and ended up keeping her after she was left unclaimed. I went back to the bar and found Jackie and told her the story about the dog. I asked if she was okay with me naming the dog Jackie. She laughed. I'm petting Jackie now is here as I finish this review. Best day ever. Tail wags. read more

This place is fun and great to go to when you need a live and fun bar to attend. This place always has good DJs that play awesome music. The bartenders are hot and friendly. I would definitely come here if you have a birthday and celebration. If you need a space to rent or throw parties also, you can book the space for few hours and bring your own catering as well. I remember one time when a customer that was super drunk knocked over my drink and the worker saw. She told the bartender to make me a new drink. Overall great customer service and atmosphere if you need a place to party. Cheers! read more
