Hi Vivian! We don’t offer a gel polish change, you would need to book a gel removal + gel mani. All of our pricing is listed on our website www.lacquergallery.com under the service menu!

How much do your lash tinting and extensions cost?

Our lash tints are $25 + our lash extensions start at $300!

Hi, how much is it for a gel acrylic fill?

Hi Libby! An acrylic fill pricing depends on the shape of your nails + if you need gel removal or not - a square fill + gel polish is $65 + a stiletto fill + gel polish is $75. Gel removal would be an additional $5 on top of that!

Which gel polish brands do you use?

After browsing their reviews on Yelp and the services on their website, I made an appointment for a few days later - it was super easy. I arrived to find a very spa-like, cozy and calming space. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and it wasn't very long before a staff member introduced themselves to me and led me back to a room to discuss my needs. I had Brittany and she was lovely. She asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for, gave me options to choose from, and even priced me out before getting things started. That was really appreciated by the way. She sold me on a membership type deal where they collect $50 on a monthly basis and add it to a "bank" that I can use for services in the future. It pretty much adds up over time until your next visit and then it doesn't feel like as much of an expense when the time comes. I've done this at nail salons and can confirm it's a nice thing to have. For this trip I went with some wrinkle relaxers, aka botox. It had been a hot minute since the last time I got it and it was a breeze. Pain free to the point where I hardly felt it. My results came in within a week or so and they're great. I definitely plan on continuing so I can maintain some youthful skin as I age. I have no doubt that I'll give their other services a go in the future. I'll end with a few things I always look for in a business.. This spot is locally owned, it's affordable, the service was great, and the place is really clean.

That kind of delay, with zero communication, is completely unacceptable. After the first treatment, there was no follow-up whatsoever. It's clear this business does not prioritize its customers once they've paid. It only gets worse. My second treatment was scheduled for March 26, and again, no one bothered to inform me of any issues. I had to call myself to confirm, only to find out that Tisha had resigned and my appointment couldn't happen. No call, no email, no effort to notify me. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact the clinic, and not once has anyone returned my calls. Instead of fixing the problem or honoring the service I already paid for, staff keep trying to upsell me on other services. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I paid in full for laser treatments--not for excuses or sales pitches. This is extremely poor management and unacceptable customer service. If you cannot deliver the services you advertise and take full payment for, you should not be operating this way. Management needs to take accountability immediately. It literally feels like you have to beg them to provide the service you already paid for. Seriously!

This review is probably going to take an hour to write while I get used to typing with nails again. I last had acrylics over a year ago. I cut them off not because I was tired of them or couldn't afford them, but because I couldn't find a nail salon that I was happy with. Recently I decided I wanted them again and started to look online for a new salon. I liked the reviews I saw for Lacquer. They were close to where I lived, so I thought I'd give them a shot. Most of the issue I had with other salons was that they made me uncomfortable or made me feel unwelcome, even though I was giving them money for a service. I tense up when having my nails done or my hair cut; I don't know why. Probably the bats building nests in my head. But having a nail tech jerk my hand and snarl "Relax!" doesn't help. First, the salon itself: Located in Grandview. Not a lot of parking for the shop but you can easily find parking on the street if you don't mind a little walk. The salon was warm and welcoming. They had artwork all over the place. Free candy and coffee which I refused due to being on a keto diet. Scented candles and actual BOOKS, not just magazines, to read while you wait. That right there earned them three of the five stars I'm giving. Honestly, I have never been in a nicer salon, and it helped me to relax. I had always gotten acrylics and airbrush design before almost all salons stopped offering it. Today I wanted a full set of stilettos and polish and nail design. My tech was Marciela. (I hope I spelled that right.) She was very friendly and I could see right from the start that she was not going to treat me like an untrained housedog, as a lot of other salon techs have done. She took the utmost ... and I DO mean the utmost... care to make sure every nail was the right length and shape. When she did my cuticles I did not get the sensation that my hands were being pecked by angry birds, as I have in other salons. I knew I wanted Halloween colors but wasn't sure exactly what, and she offered some great suggestions to help me decide. As to the nail art, she did a Halloween cat on two nails and a spooky pumpkin on two others, while the rest were plain polish in purple and black. Her design art was as good as airbrush. And she was very patient, fun to talk to and even laughed at my silly jokes. If I decide to keep the nails, which will depend on whether I can get used to typing with them as my job requires, I will never go to any other salon but Lacquer. They have a new regular customer, for as long as they can stand me. read more

So I'm certain I'm bias, but whatever, LACQUER is my shizz... I found out about Lisa and (at the time) Julie through a friend of mine via Instagram and instantly knew I needed to go see them. I am a former acrylic junky who had taken years off and was getting into the new-ish gel 'craze' (I mean I own my own UV light and polishes...but gel services were crazy limited to Columbus). Made an appointment with Lisa and I haven't turned back since! I'm certain I'm coming back for the service, but you must understand it is much more than just getting my nails LACQUER'd every so many weeks...when you set out to create a whole atmosphere for your business I'm instantly sold. From my first appointment with Lisa in her 'two-seater' salon space at (name redacted to protect the innocent) to my next appointment in about a week with Julie, I know I am not only receive top notch service but also I am going to see my peepz and have a great time while doing so. Where else can you walk into, feel like you're instantly at home, and laugh like a maniac while getting your hands and feet polished to the GAWDZ? I'll wait for a bit while you ponder that... Yes, I have drank the LACQUER kool-aid, and am a self proclaimed addict. Sue me. I also get upset if I do not have their business cards in my wallet because I'm stopped all over the city and asked about my nails--I even have people who wait for what my next mani will look like (obsessed much)! I don't know about you, but there's a certain hometown pride when I'm miles away from Ohio and people stop me and want to gawk at my digits and gush about how unique they are...I mean duhh I only go to the beastiest nail salon/spa/hangout in the flipping world! I was very skeptical simply because i have always gone to the same salon back home. I had heard great things about lacquer gallery from a coworker from nails to hair. I had called on VERY short notice because I had an important job interview coming up and they didn't have any openings BUT went that extra step to put me on a wait list in case anything came open. They called the day I hoping to get in and had an opening with the same girl that does my coworkers hair, so that alone put me at ease. I arrived at the salon and was greeted by the receptionist, She was sweet and attentive. My hair dresser Alyssa shortly came to get me. Before we even began, she sat with me and talked about what I wanted, really taking the time to hear my expectations and concerns. I was already impressed just by her attention to detail. Well let me say, impressed is an understatement because she was absolutely AMAZING. She made me feel comfortable, we had great conversation but also so genuine & kind. She gave me that extra confidence for my interview the next day that i was looking for because when you look good, you feel good. As long as I am living in Columbus, this is the place for any of my beauty needs. Prices are reasonable because you get what you are paying for and that is time and pure talent. I love spending my time at Lacquer. The space is absolutely beautiful and I always feel empowered and welcomed by the lovely people there. Snacks are aplenty, and drinks are always offered. I've been getting my hair done here for two years now, and as someone who jumped from stylist to stylist previously, it's SO nice coming back to Lacquer each time and feeling so welcomed. I recently started getting gel manicures, and had my second one last week with Katie! I'm trying to grow my natural nails out, and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. I'm a serial polish peeler, and she showed me exactly where she could tell this, and educated me on the harm that peeling my polish can do- no wonder I've never been able to grow my nails out!! My gel hasn't lasted too long without chipping a tiny bit, but I work in the service industry and my hands are constantly being used and beaten up, so I expected as much- it's still so much better than painting my nails every other day like before. The owner is also always around, which is awesome to see and makes me feel good that I'm supporting a local business run by a woman who is very clearly involved with every aspect.. she has built an amazing space to relax and unwind. If I could give this salon more than 5 stars, I would! I booked a CBD facial with Kanoa after seeing a post in a local Facebook group asking for recommendations for the best facial technicians in Columbus -- out of around 40 responses, almost all of them recommended not only Lacquer Gallery, but specifically Kanoa by name, so I had to try her out. I was NOT disappointed; it was probably the best salon treatment that I've ever had! Kanoa was extraordinarily personable, skilled, and adaptable. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable, proactively customized the skincare routine to my needs, provided high-quality care, and left my face feeling rejuvenated. In addition to her clearly being highly competent in her field, she is a joy to be around. I booked my next session with her before I even paid for my first one. Aside from this specific technician's excellence, Lacquer Gallery as a whole is worth the trip. The salon is impeccably clean; the interior decor is personality-filled, playful, creative, and cozy; and the receptionist was so helpful and kind. Truly, don't even bother going anywhere else. Ahh, where to start! My first appointment at Lacquer was for microblading done by Lisa, who is the owner of Lacquer. I can not say enough good things about this woman. She is the nicest and most down to earth person I have ever met. I immediately felt comfortable around her, not to mention she can work wonders on the brows. She takes her time and truly listens to what you want! She's basically the Jack of all trades! So last week I decided I would drive two hours to get my hair done. Yes, you heard that right! TWO HOURS! Lol I had a baylage done by Alyssa who is seriously in my opinion the saint of hair! I had a horrible incident a couple years ago where my hair was left in an awful state, therefore I have spent the past couple of years letting it get healthier. I was super satisfied with many aspects of my experience at Lacquer Gallery. I went in to get my hair refreshed. I gave a pretty vague description of what I wanted (basically just take the golden yellow out of my blonde) and I received just that. I went to Samantha Johnson and although I'm biased because she's been my best friend for years now, she's genuinely a great hair stylist. She'll listen to what you want and try her best to achieve that while bringing up her professional opinion on what will work and what won't. I loved the atmosphere in Lacquer. There's the perfect amount of trendy decor mixed with art on the walls. It's great that they really thought out the building because it makes me want to go back because it was so unique. All the employees that were there seemed really nice and I noticed they would help each other out when needed, which was great to see from a customer experience perspective. LOVE LOVE LOVE going to Lacquer Gallery. Getting my nails done every month is a great form of self care. My go-to gel manicure stylist is Elizabeth. She was my first nail stylist at LG a couple of years ago and we just clicked. My mother also now goes to Elizabeth for her gel nail appointments. I trust Elizabeth to help me get out of my comfort zone with nail colors. We will do something some times called "Stylist Choice" where she picks a gel nail color for me. She hasn't steered me wrong yet. All of the staff at Lacquer Gallery are amazing at what they do. Elizabeth is booked AND busy for a reason! The LG-Nails atmosphere is very supportive, professional, efficient, but not rushed. They provide you a beverage when you arrive. They great you and check you out with a smile. 10s across the board. I have been going to Lacquer Gallery for years so I can't believe it took me this long to write a review!! I have tried all kinds of services - manicures and pedicures, nail art, facials, massage, and spray tans. My nail angel, Elizabeth Whiteside, is the best there is. She approaches her craft with such thoughtfulness and care, it is really a joy to work with her! She has continued to gain new certifications and master new techniques since I've started seeing her, and offers dry manicures and builder gel in addition to regular and gel polish. On top of being an incredible nail savior, she is hilarious, so easy to talk to, and always caught up on our shared Bravo shows Bottom line, she's a queen, the vibe and quality of Lacquer is top notch, and if you book an appointment with her, you won't be disappointed. I wrote a previous review about their manicures. I'm not married to one specific nail artist so I can say that all of them do an amazing job. I've never left unsatisfied. I've also been lucky enough to see Kayla Ryan for my hair. Not only is she able to decipher EXACTLY what I want to do to my hair, it looks amazing after. My hair is wavy/curly/has a mind of its own and she is always able to give a great cut which -- as other curly-haired people know -- is incredibly hard to find. Kayla also checks in consistently during the appointment to make sure she's doing exactly you want. She's super easy to talk to and it makes the appointment a breeze. I've had some...not great experiences with other salons in Columbus and it's really nice to be able to come to Lacquer for any service and know you'll be leaving with a great result. read more

As a new customer, I'm already a huge fan! I went to Lacquer for the first time a few weeks ago because I am a customer of Ciarra Bonidie, who recently started working there. The whole atmosphere is so cool and unique. I loved the vibe as soon as I walked in the door. I got a pedicure and a gel mani, which were both awesome. The customer service by the reception staff and Ciarra were nothing short of amazing. Super warm and welcoming! The service was great and I can tell that Ciarra is really happy there, which makes me so happy! I'm glad she found a place she, and now I, can call home. I can't wait to go back again in a few weeks for my next gel mani. I know I'll become a regular for nails, but I do hope to try the hair salon at some point too. This is the only salon I go to. I have been going to Samantha Johnson for hair services for a while now and she does a great job. She's well versed in the trending styles and colors. She's great at listening to what you're wanting and will always offer her professional suggestion of ways to achieve it. I also go to Lacquer for nail services. Both times I have booked with Julie and she's been great! I usually just get plain polish but she has done a great job making sure it's applied perfectly. My gel polish has always lasted well over the recommended 2 weeks with no chips. Not only are the services great but the staff is always nice, and it's in an amazing building with cool decorations. There are so many other services that Lacquer offers that I cannot wait to try in the future!! read more

Before I knew what a quality cut/color/style was like, I would just walk into whatever salon I was closest to when I thought, "Hm, I think I need a haircut." I was never the stylist-loyal gal until I met Zoey a while ago. I literally followed her to Lacquer Gallery when she switched salons; something I never dreamed I would ever be able to do. Finding your "hair lady" (or man) is life-changing. Now I am a huge fan of Lacquer Gallery as well. This salon is wonderfully unique. You can count on feeling amazing after every visit. I highly recommend Lacquer Gallery, and I highly recommend Zoey. All you have to do is tell her what you want, and you will look better than expected. I absolutely love this place! I went with my mother, who had never had a professional manicure before, a few weeks ago and we were both so pleased. The atmosphere is really beautiful, hip, and bright and the staff that we interacted with were all professional and fun. They made my mom feel right at home and even helped her choose a simple color that complimented her since she had no idea where to start. About a month later and her nails still look like they were done yesterday, the products they use are really high quality and the service and atmosphere can't be beat. I'm used to going to salons where the conversation is always sort of awkward and the environment feels more sterile than clean and welcoming - this was a really nice change. I just moved to Columbus and was looking for a new salon. I follow Lacquer Gallery on instagram and saw they had a special on a variety of services. I immediately booked a wax and eyelash perm/tint. Both with Taylor. The wax was first, and it's always awkward, especially the first session. Well, Taylor was nothing but professional and kind. She made me feel comfortable and at ease from the start. The (Brazilian) wax went smooth (ha) and I was out of there in no time. I've always wanted to try a lash perm, and I'm so glad I did. I had an amazing experience at Lacquer which was recommended to me by my sister who gets her hair done and had recently had a facial there. They were having a special on facials in March so I scheduled an appointment with Toria. The facial was customized to my skin type. Toria had taken the time to get to know my skin, my treatment routine, and different products I used. The facial was phenomenal and made me feel relaxed and refreshed afterwards. What was even better was all the advice and tips that Toria had given me about combating my difficult skin without pushing expensive products on me. I was comfortable talking with her throughout the process and definitely am taking her advice into account. Would highly recommend scheduling with her! I know I will be back! read more

Went in today for the first time after driving by for almost a year! I found an appointment online and everyone had great reviews so I just booked with the first available tech. Kristin was awesome! Super friendly right from the start. I had booked to take my gels off too but had already done it and it was no problem! I wanted a matte set with a marble decorative finger and she did amazing! Also got the paraffin wax on my hands and they felt awesome after. I had also asked the salon if they could fit me in for a brow wax and sure enough again super accommodating and was paired with Kanoa. She was friendly and fun and my brows look great. Overall A+ experience. Salon is beautiful and people are all friendly! Now I know why it is always full with happy clients! read more

Lisa, Julie, Kelly, Emily, Katie and Maricela are all amazing, professional, courteous and just darn good. From the moment you step in to the salon, you feel at home. This is not your run of the mill salon, Lisa and her crew work extremely hard at a making the place spotless, the amenities are impeccable and the art is avant grade and always changing. If you are looking for attention to detail, polish that will last, engaging conversation and genuine interaction this is the place. Their prices are reasonable especially for the quality. The nail art work is unique and not what you find in Columbus, Ohio. If Lacquer Modern Nail Salon was the standard for what nail salons should be then this would be the only salon in town. For the past several years I have been trying to get my nails done professionally, but nothing has lived up to all the Instagram photos I'm always see . One day at work one of my customers had these artistic beautiful nails that she said she got done at lacquer gallery and I just had to check it out! When I walked into their nail salon I was instantly impressed. The vibe was warm and the ladies were very kind and helpful. Watching them be done was like watching a beautiful painting come to life! She was able to do a very intricate unique design with a clean polished finish . Lacquer Gallery is my happy place. I have gotten my hair done (balayage and cuts) and a spray tan (first time ever!). You pay for high quality services by amazing women. They are my hair goddesses because they know what's in style and what you're looking for (aka what you've pinned on Pinterest). Alyssa and Devan are wonderful. I am happy with my hair every time I go there and love how good I feel after leaving. I call it my "layers and life chats" time; relaxing, casual, chic, chill vibes that make you want to hang out there. While my hair was processing, I cozied up in a sunlit corner with a book and sparkling water provided by Lacquer, and just indulged in the good music and conversation. I came to Columbus for Christmas and my family and I wanted to get our nails done, apparently they're "By appointment Only" which isn't the problematic part. The problem was how we were greeted upon entry. No hello. No how may I help you. Trina herself said "stop right there. what's this all about?" The place wasn't packed. There was a total of 2 customers. After she approached us like that, I had no intention of spending a single penny with Trina or the likes of her nail and beauty spa. She missed out on 4 new customers. ZEROOOOO STARSSSSSS

I got the aloe gel pedicure. We got seated in the chair and he got to started right away. The chairs have massaging capabilities, which was kind of nice. My tech's name was Dan. He struck up polite conversation while he was giving me the pedicure. It was hard to hear him from the music, sounds of the chair and other sounds in the space. Dan did a good job, however I feel like the description of what the service I booked was different from what I actually got. I think there were some steps missing. When I noticed he walked in, he was talking to the front desk clerk and it sounded like they were talking about what I booked and changing it up. When it came time to pay, I received the bill and took it to the counter. When the clerk told me how much it was, there was $10+ more dollars added. I asked if it was for the tip and was told no the tip is additional and can't be added to the bill. You had to Venmo or pay cash for tips. This was a huge surcharge to the stated amount. Then to have to Venmo was annoying. There are hundreds of colors to choose from. It is a bit overwhelming. Overall, I will be finding another salon if my regular salon is not available again in the future.

I'm bummed to update this review with a lower rating but my overall experience at the W Nail Bar…read morehas gone downhill over the last year so it's a fair assessment. In a nutshell, the quality of the work done by the nail techs just isn't up to par. It seems as though they are hiring very green techs and they aren't receiving any training, therefore the quality hasn't stayed satisfactory. This last time the work was really bad. It took two hours for a basic gel mani and then I still didn't receive the full service. I was too shy to say anything or make a scene while I was there, so I waited until after I left. I emailed in to try and get them fixed and even then it then took almost a week of going back and forth, trying to book a new appointment... and they eventually ended up refunding me because they didn't have availability. That then meant that I had to figure out how to get them fixed elsewhere. This happened to my cousin the same exact week but at another location so I have a feeling it's across the board. Not sure if they are growing too fast or what, but it's a bummer. I've been going to either this or other locations for 3+ years, but now it's time to move on. I hope they're able to work it out.
