If I could choose one expression it'd be WOW! Lados is definitely a hole in the wall, located deep in a residential area, that I've been eager to check out. I wasn't sure if this was an actual establishment, but it looks like they have their own space! Under normal non-pandemic circumstances, they have seating inside, bathrooms for use, and a prayer room. There is also a cute neon sign that you can take pics with for Instagram. Now with COVID, there is only outdoor seating available, but you can still order at the counter or online. There is a touchpad available to order from, but one of the staff members actually took my order from their side. Remember to check-in on Yelp for 5% off! I ended up ordering take out for 3 and we got: Tikka paratha wrap Bomb Kebab with regular fries Crazy Curry Fries Punjabi Samosas Vegan Masala Burger with regular fries (for the vegan masala burger, they explained that they adjust the sauce to make the meal vegan) They gave me a heads up and told me that the food would take about 25 minutes to make, so I waited outside on the benches since there weren't any other customers until after I sat down. They give you a little buzzer to notify you when your food is ready and they even place it in a paper treat bag for extra precaution. When I got my takeout it made my car smell so heavenly! The portions are huge and I had a hard time taking an initial bite of my Masala burger. My friend ate a bunch of her fries first because she was figuring out the best way to attack her Kebab burger, hah! I had a out of body experience because this burger was AMAZING. I've tried other vegan burgers, but this one tops all the others. The one ingredient I identified in the patty are lentils, which I generally like eating. The flavors and ingredients all worked well with each other, in my option. My friend thought her burger was spicy and was having a tough time, but she thought it tasted great, otherwise. As for the samosas-they did seem a bit dry and the shell wasn't as flaky as I'd like it. I'm not sure what the difference between a normal samosa vs a punjabi samosa is though, so I'd appreciate it if anyone could enlighten me! Went to lados a few days ago and was blown away by the food! I went around 5:30 pm and thankfully there was not much going on. I ended up calling and placing an order which was ready in like 15-20 mins which was wasn't too bad. The inside was pretty empty with just people cooking. I ended up ordering: *zinger burger- this was a chicken burger with a very crispy patty and I enjoyed every bit of it! The sauces in the burger were also bomb and I'd come back for more! The meal I had came with fries and those were delicious and crispy. Just wish they would let me upgrade the fries too but I guess they took the option out. I wish I could give Lados 6 stars. This place is my new favorite restaurant in South Bay. My boyfriend and I split: THE ZINGER: 10/10 would highly recommend this item on the menu. Their fried chicken is like nothing I've ever tasted before. The flavors are pakistani inspired and the chicken is better than southern chicken. It was sooooo crispy even after waiting 15 minutes to eat it. THE BOMB KABOB: 9.5/10 the only reason I don't give it a 10/10 is because i was full after the first half of my Zinger, but my boyfriend thought it was just as good as the zinger. I was just so blown away by how good the zinger was, nothing could compare it. The beef was flavored with a bunch of different ingredients and I could tell a lot of thought and preparation went into making each patty. Recently ate overhere. Honestly it was just "okay." The restaurant itself is nice and clean - it even has a small private prayer area which was nice to see. The food though... was ok. Specifically, the weekend special Chicken Haleem was a travesty in the name of Haleem. Folks, this is NOT what Haleem looks or tastes like. It was really watery with pieces of shredded chicken! Portions are really big, it's really hard to finish which is a shame because the masala fries that come with it are also really good. The sauce that comes with the fries are excellent. Chai for the road was good. Pretty dead on a Wednesday night, to be expected. A few people came by to get takeout. Service was pretty slow in spite of that, took about 15 minutes to get my food even though I was the only one there. People compare this place to Chicken G's. I haven't been there myself, but when I was there the owner and one of his workers were wearing Chicken G's uniforms so they appear to be owned by the same person. Well this turned out to be a hidden gem. Literally! This restaurant is in a residential community which is easy to miss unless recommended by someone. Thanks to yelp community I landed here. We ordered the zinger burger which had quite a nice kick and was bursting with flavours. The side of fries that it came with was a little soggy which was disappointing. The sabzi mandi wrap was overloaded with the filling. Good for people who like monster wraps. For me it was a little overwhelming but next time I can just ask them to cut back on the filling. My favorite item is their plate of Dahi Poori. The paratha rolls are pretty wholesome, too, but don't expect a handmade paratha. (They seem store-bought.) The service is where I cut one star. The kiosk ordering system is pretty confusing, since the kiosk will assign you a number that you won't see among the available number plaques. Due to covid, the inside was empty(as every other restaurant is), i dont know why they had music playing loudly, i feel that is unnecessary to begin with and even when theres nobody sitting inside. Now onto the food, the menu is pretty comical, always a fun thing to have. The names of dishes and menu sections gave a laugh. We ordered the bomb kebab burger and the zinger burger. Wait time was about 10-15min, expected since the food came fresh and the fries were still very crunchy and hot. The serving size was very good, the burger patties (chicken and beef) were well done. Many other burger places don't have as big patty/chicken size pieces. The only thing i would recommend is that they add a drink (say a can of soda) to each burger meal since they come with fries already. Customers will really appreciate that, sure you can charge separately for the glass bottle of soda but try to add one can of soda to the meal or a bottle of water as part of the burger meal. I would say the zinger burger is probably the best chicken burger i have tasted , i am not personally a fan of the chicken burgers -i go for beef burgers usually. So i would say if i had to take my mom out for chicken burgers or recommend somebody a good chicken i would say come to this place All in all, i would say its good place especially since it may be relatively new? Addicted ! We used to visit their food truck a lot and were thrilled when they opened up a restaurant. Very sad about the timing coinciding with the Stay at Home orders, but we are still doing takeout and supporting their upcoming business nonetheless. Their quality seems to have improved in the new location and here are some items that we really enjoy and are consistently good ! The beef chapli kebabs - my husband would order these daily if we could. The zinger burger - just like Pakistani KFC - for those familiar with the taste of a spicy zinger burger will know what I mean. One of our favorites on the menu. Paratha roll with beef chapli kebab - Again, very good since the filling is the chapli kebabs mentioned above Some things that didnt stand out were the cholay ( didn't taste like Lahori cholay and had too much Hing in them ) and the crispy chicken burger ( feels like a frozen patty thats been fried ). The restaurant is located in a very unassuming corner. The wait time was almost 40 minutes even though the restaurant was not fully packed. Do note that the menu does not accurately reflect the price as well as the sides available with the burger. They do have complimentary sample chai but I found out about it when I saw another customer ask for chai. The chai tasted great. They need to improve their cleanliness level by a huge margin. They do not honor the 5% discount as mentioned on their page on yelp. This is the first time I have experienced a restaurant not honor an advertised discount. We ordered the curry fries which were cold even for dine in. The fried chicken in the burger was pretty good, but the burger as a whole wasn't that great. Showed up here for a Sunday evening snack. We got anday wala burger with chicken, samosa chaat, shammi kebab and tikka wrap. Shami kebab- 4, very interesting play on textures with a crisp outside and a surprisingly butter smooth inside. Flavors were spot on and it tasted good with the two chutneys served on the side. A word of caution though, the kebabs were saturated in fat, they left an unpleasant feeling in the tummy for several hours after the meal. Samosa chaat- 4, the samosa shell stayed crisp in spite of being doused with the choley. Again, very good flavors but there was very little choley. Tikka wrap-4.5, should be eaten immediately as there was lettuce in the wrap which can get soggy. Flavors ran deep into the chicken and this is the best dish of the four. Anday wala burger-3, this was a disappointment as there was very little salt. Added to that the whole burger felt soft without anything to hold it together. The chicken, egg and he burger bun were all texturally very soft and it was difficult to hold and eat it. Place is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, they have ample parking and outdoor seating. They make everything from scratch and because they are they are the only open place serving chicken sandwiches in a large residential area with thousands of units they are constantly busy. Min wait time is 30m if you show up and order food. Most wait times are closer to 1h if you are there during lunch or dinner time when everybody else is hungry also. They don't have a process for double frying food like what the chain restaurants do to reduce wait times like McDonald's. read more

I have been to Lados a few times. On the recommendation of one of the host, we tried the zinger burger. Oh, what a delight it was. I am not a fan of fried chicken so I sheepishly ordered it. It was moist, flavorful but not overbearing and crisp. This is my favorite fried chicken. Although I don't have the picture of the papdi chaat that was delicious too. And presented on the woodblock so beautifully. I have tried their chicken and the paneer that are good too, but I feel the zinger is the real deal. The staff is friendly but I feel the service can be improved tremendously, I was there one Friday evening and they were struggling to keep up with the orders. The parathas are average, a little chewy and fries were also average but flavorful while they were warm. If you are a fan of Zareen's or Pakistani food in general then this is an alternate with slightly different flavors to try. And, do try the zinger. read more

ORDER THE ZINGER This was my 3rd experience with Lados. I've tried a few items on their menu but nothing compares to the zinger. It is perfectly fried chicken with great breading and great sauce. It really hits the spot and is always fresh. I personally didn't like the fancy fries and prefer their default fries that come with burgers. Their interior is also really pretty and modern with bright lighting. It's usually really empty in there with a decent amount of seating. Lados operates as self service (no waiters for your table). Tips 1. Don't fool around and order the zinger 2. If you order in person at the tablet, when you add a burger it will ask you for a fries selection. If you want regular fries, don't select anything on the fries window, just click add/next at the bottom right of the screen. If you select "None" you will get no fries. Door dash doesn't have this problem. On their website, you cannot get an order of fries with your sandwich. 3. You don't get any free water so if you want a drink you'll need to order one. 4. I just can't stay away from Lados for long. It is such a homely place with literally every single thing tasting as it was cooked with just the right amount of masalas at home. I hope the business owner reads this because this is something that definitely bothered almost every patron that entered their restaurant the same day as me: either hire someone to man the front or get an online ordering platform that shows pictures of the food. Having menus that included pictures would help to, but I'm going after the kiosk you have to order from because I'm pretty sure it had an error that messed up my order. I also don't understand why they don't offer you water here. As for the actual food, the chicken tikka masala was good. Like very, very good. Reminded me more of butter chicken actually and was very creamy and sweet. I would've been more enthused about my dish if it actually came with more chicken because for the price point it was at, I was a little surprised how sparse they were on meat. The platter came with a very basic salad, chickpeas that were a bit bland, and rice that was overpowered with saffron. The chapati included was amazing.
