Food is hands down 5 Star..!! One of the best Empanadas I have had, and definitely want to try again. Perfect texture and taste. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with their Menu options. They had displayed "Highline infused Shrimp and Crab Empanada," i.e., edible infused, and most of our group were ordering that option without any idea what it was. And the lady taking our orders was surprised we were ordering it - they weren't aware that it was on their Menu. Obviously, they had used an old Menu, probably from a different event where they showcased Highline Products. This isn't a small mistake to make, especially when your Food Truck is in a Family environment. We canceled our Highline infused orders and ordered regular ones, but one of our group members received an infused one by mistake and zoned out for a few minutes. Luckily, nothing major happened, but it could've been much worse. Hope they are more careful in the future with their Menu

Had one of the most amazing empanadas in my life. Was playing an event on Grove St in Jersey City & had their Oxtail empanada before our set. Incredible! The biggest crime is that I didn't go back for another. Being Married to a Jamaican Woman, at this point I recognize true and good oxtail, & this was it! I'm willing to travel for this level of goodness.

Mac&Cheese empanada.... perfect. delicious. Perfectly crispy outside... creamy and tasty inside. I'm hooked!

We were headed home and I spotted the truck by L.A. fitness, bayonne. Had to try...WOW!! I'm glad we made that turn into the shopping center...... gonna follow them moving forward....

Lady G had their food truck at the All About Us Festival on Juneteenth at Liberty State Park. If you saw how long their line was, you would understand. The oxtail dinner empanada with oxtail, collard greens, and rice was by far the best empanada I've ever tasted. The combination of all 3 elements and how seasoned and savory it was made you savor every bite. At $16 it was well worth the price. And yes, they're as crispy on the outside as they look. The Mac n cheese wasn't overly cheesy, which I was fine with as it was flavorful. If you're in Jersey City and want a soulful empanada, look no further than Lady G!

Excellent Caribbean style empanadas! I've only had the jerk chicken, but I'll go back for more.

Holding it or tasting it gives a substantial, high-quality feel. However, the consequence is that even the staff struggles to scoop it out with their spherical ice cream scoops, let alone the disposable plastic spoons provided to customers. Green Tea: The highest praise Chinese people can give for desserts--not sweet--and it truly tastes like green tea, not matcha. The refreshing bitterness was incredibly pure, even bordering on slightly bitter, which is extremely rare in the US. Vanilla Peanut Butter: Very milky, but extremely salty, like eating peanut butter spread on bread. The vanilla flavor was almost completely masked. Coconut & Cream: I've always trusted American coconut ice cream, but this time it was a bit of a disappointment. The cream completely overshadowed the coconut, so much so that it took me a long time to recall what flavor I actually ordered. Ube: One bite brought back childhood memories, exactly the same as the ube flavor Wuyang五羊 ice cream cone. It was so touching I didn't order this in the end since I want to try more flavors as possible. I don't know why, but ube flavor seems to be gradually fading in China... Blueberry Cheesecake: The initial taste was a rich, sweet cream, with a refreshing hint of blueberry tartness in the aftertaste. It's pretty good, but honestly, it's not particularly outstanding. Banana Peanut Butter Chunk: The staff recommended this signature dish, and it once again made me realize how subjective taste can be... It's on the sweeter and saltier side, with a very strong flavor, but more importantly, it has a noticeable artificial banana flavor.

There's so many yummy flavors - it's hard to choose! I ultimately went with the rocky road (my classic favorite) and the cheesecake with rainbow sprinkles (because why not!?) and enjoyed every bite! I think the rocky road could've used more marshmallows but that's my personal preference for my favorite childhood fave ice cream. Service was great and allow you to try a couple flavors if you're unsure which is great as not all ice cream spots makes the flavors the same! It's only street parking so get ready to search for that when you come to visit - but it's worth it! And read street signs so you don't get towed or ticketed.

I've never eaten anything that I didn't like. My faves are: milhojas, breakfast croissant sandwich, and any and every cake with dulce de leche filling. I only tiny, minuscule complaint I have about this place is the lack of signage for the pastries and cakes. It would be nice to know what I'm looking at without having the ask. Absolutely zero gatekeeping here. Please everyone keep patronizing this establishment. I need this place to continue to exist in my hood.

So get anything fresh, like made to order cakes or things you see come out right when you're there. Otherwise you run the risk of getting old stuff, which sucks that they don't manage that at all. On a Sunday afternoon lines moved quickly and we were able to find seats. This is a cute cafe that offers plenty of savory items and lunches, plus drinks like matcha, cakes, pastries and cookies. There is also a bathroom! The women behind the counter were all nice and patient with my questions, they also kept the line moving and were quick. I had high hopes for the Alfajores as this is an Argentinian bakery but unfortunately the ones given to me were stale. The cookie was very hard. Also the Dulce de leche was too sweet and burnt tasting to me. I also got a chocolate covered one and the cookie in that was also hard and dry. The strawberry croissant was amazing. Never had anything like that before. Not too sweet and very flaky. It has a ribbon of red on the outside which gives it a unique look. I would love to come back and try savory items. I'll continue to stick with the cakes and croissants for desert and make sure it's fresh!
