Business is located in Makai Food Court. Tables and chairs are shared by many food eateries. All food is cooked with diverse menu. Employees are quick in getting your order ready One of very places that sell prime rib with 3 sides.

Good lunch at the food court. Roast pork and bbq rib combo is good. Ribs kinda sweet. Combo is not on the menu prob cuz it's 30 bucks but it's a decent value if you're hungry

My partner and I recently did a chicken off between Raising Cane's and Chick Fil A in the Ala Moana food court. Then I realized we made a grave mistake and should have just gotten the half chicken from Lahaina Chicken Company. We're infrequent customers, but when we do get it, it's now always the half roasted chicken with three sides. Prices have been creeping up and it's about $21.5 for that combo meal, but it's such a better deal than the fried chicken from the other guys. Plus, if you select vegetables, you are actually eating relatively healthy and you can easily feed two adults plus a kid or two or three sort of hungry adults. The fried chicken guys will cost you easily more than that for two combo meals. The roast chicken is juicy, well-seasoned, and piping hot. It's always delicious. They keep the chickens generally whole and only cut them in half when you order, so dried out chicken is pretty rare, especially if you go during busy times. The sides that come with the combos range from mac and cheese unhealthy, to healthy salad, with mash potatoes, broccoli and cheese, corn, chop jae, and mixed vegetables depending on the day. Did I mention some combos come with three sides? Did I also mention that this combo always had more chicken to side ratio? That's a luxury these days when you run out of starches and vegetables and you still have a quarter of your chicken left to go. Plus the sides are good, the vegetables are fresh, the noodles are flavored well, and the gravy on the potatoes gives thanksgiving vibes. For $21.5 plus tax to feed 2-3 people for a healthyiish, delicious hot meal is amazing. The fact that you can do this in a high rent mall like Ala Moana is mind blowing. Protip: We once got the whole chicken plate and had to take home so much food. Advised to stick to the half chicken unless you're going to a party. Bathrooms are shared with the rest of the food court and while there are a lot of seats, there are often a horde of hungry people sitting in those seats. Parking is mall parking so depends on the time and shopping season. Finally, doesn't look like they have a credit card surcharge. 4.5 Stars, especially given the food inflation we're seeing these days.

Had lunch today at Lahaina chicken Company located at the food court Ala Moana shopping center .believe it or not my first time here and I was surprised it was good . The chicken was very moist and lots of taste . My friend had their prime rib and she said it was good . I would definitely go back again and try something else . Support local

Stopped in for lunch as I was looking for something with an island flare. I ordered the 1/4 chicken with mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese with broccoli and cheese. The roasted chicken was very juicy but didn't have too much flavor. The Mac and cheese was mediocre but the broccoli and cheese was very tasty We also ordered ribs and they were amazing! So tender and flavorful! The meat just fell off the bone. This was located in a large food court and everything was pretty fresh.

Lahaina Chicken Co. first opened at the Ala Moana Center Makai Food Court in 1999. It offers homestyle roast chicken (1/4 or 1/2); fried chicken (drumsticks, extended wing portions, chicken breast); ribeye roast; roast beef carved to order; beef short ribs; prime rib; roast pork; and baby back ribs. Each plate comes with three sides that can be chosen from the following: mashed potatoes & gravy, mac salad, green bean casserole, garden fresh veggies, zucchini, broccoli, mac & cheese, cole slaw, corn, chop chae, and more. The menu reflects HI's unique melting pot of cultures of Asian, Pacific, and American tastes. Lahaina Chicken Co. is the brainchild of local restaurateur Peter Kim, who also opened LIliha Bakery, Signature Prime Steak & Seafood, Little Joe's Steakhouse, Steak & Fish Co, Cheeseburger Factory, and Yummy Korean BBQ. Ahh, now I know why chop chae is a side, an unusual one at that, at Lahaina Chicken Co, which is because Peter also owns Yummy Korean BBQ! It is no wonder that Peter also was awarded the 2025 Hale 'Aina Restaurateur of the Year! I enjoy chicken wings, so choosing the 2-piece extended wing/thigh portion makes a nice choice of several meals for me, including the sides. However, I've seen the pieces getting smaller in in size, and the price increasing over recent years. While I see many others ordering the meats, I've always stuck by the wing pieces, which have always satisfied by cravings. The extended wings are large pieces and are tasty, crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Also love the creamy mashed potatoes and flavorful chop chae! Staff is friendly, quick and efficient, as they try to move the line as quickly as possible. There is a similar 2nd location at the Dan Inouye International Airport near the Inter-Island terminal. Hours of operation are Mon to Sat 10:30a to 8:00p and Sun 10:30a to 7:00p. Located near Ala Moana Poi Bowl, there is free parking in the large shopping small that is shared by other businesses. A nice heavy meal by itself and certainly not a light meal. A nice fit in food court for those wanting a little more! Support local!

Prime Rib & Fried Chicken Combo Meal with Zucchini Medley, Mushroom Risotto with Ruffle, and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy

Whenever I think of mall food court eateries, all of the usual suspects immediately come to mind - fast food joints, Jamba Juice, Mrs. Fields, Wetzel's Pretzels/Auntie Anne's, Cinnabon, and, of course, the ever ubiquitous Panda Express. All of whom you'll certainly find in Ala Moana's lower food court (or elsewhere in the mall). What I didn't expect to find among them? An eatery serving up, of all things, cuts of prime rib and mushroom risotto with truffle! God I love this mall. Now, to be perfectly honest, after doing an initial lap of the food court to see what our options were, I actually quickly dismissed Lahaina Chicken. Between their name and the trays with fried chicken and roast chicken I saw folks walking away with, I figured this place was just a chicken shop. My gf, on the other hand, took a closer look at their menu and display case and saw just how much they have to offer. In addition to the aforementioned items, they also have roast pork, beef short ribs, hamburger steak, mushroom chicken, and a solid variety of sides. Still, despite having all of those options to choose from, it wasn't that hard to figure out what to pick for our DOUBLE COMBO MEAL. -- PRIME RIB I may have feared the worst (overcooked, rubbery, bland), but this was pretty legit, especially from a food court. The cut was bigger than I had expected, the seasoning was decent, and the beef was tender! Yes, I've had better at restaurants, but I've definitely had worse. -- FRIED CHICKEN Although it wasn't as good as my favorite fast food fried chicken, this was pretty solid. The batter was crispy, nicely seasoned, and reminded me of Chinese fried chicken (no breading) while the chicken itself was very juicy. Plus, I love how it didn't taste greasy/oily either. -- MUSHROOM RISOTTO WITH TRUFFLE Much like with the prime rib, I've had better at restaurants, but this was still pretty good. The risotto was cooked decently well, had a nice bit of cheesiness, and was well complemented by the mushroom and truffle oil flavors. -- ZUCCHINI MEDLEY Maybe it's because I'd been craving some veggies, but this was great! I was pleasantly surprised the zucchini wasn't mushy/overcooked (it probably helped that they were cut into such big pieces) and that the sauce wasn't too salty. -- MASHED POTATOES & GRAVY For better or worse, this was pretty standard. The consistency was really smooth (I wouldn't have minded some chunks of potato) and was neither too thick nor too thin. A bit bland without the gravy, though. Even though it's pretty clear already, I almost feel compelled to say again that I'm so impressed by Lahaina Chicken. Just seeing prime rib and risotto offered at a mall food court is noteworthy, but the fact that they also tasted pretty good makes it that much more notable. Plus, for what it cost (about $28), this felt like a steal of a deal! There are so many places on Oahu that I still want to try, but I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to come back again the next time I'm at Ala Moana! I just wish the malls by me had a place like this... FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded down.

Time for an update, as I've been coming here on da regular to this chicken joint at da Ala Moana Food Court. Most folks who follow me know that Bruddah Fran is a Frrrrrrried Chicken freak and I must say da - Lahaina Chicken Company is one of Bruddah Fran's favorite joints to get his Frrrrrrried Chicken fix! I haven't been coming here for a plate as of late, I mainly come here for da Frrrrrrried Chicken (I order ala carte). One Frrrrrrried Chicken breast is just under $5 bucks, but if you look at my many Frrrrrrried Chicken postings......Dat Chicken breast is MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASIVE! Try look 'em! Da outer shell may not be as crispy as Popeye's Frrrrrrried Chicken, but da taste & da juiciness of the chicken meat can't be beat! One Frrrrrrried Chicken breast, and I'm good to go, as the chicken pieces that Lahaina Chicken Company sells is very generous. If you likey Frrrrrrried Chicken like Bruddah Fran, go chance da Lahaina Chicken Company! Da Buggah is Winnah's!

We somehow ended up at the ala Moana and were hungry. After walking around we ended up here because the chicken looked good. It was good. Had a good flavor as compared to basic rotisserie chicken. The prime rib....not enjoyable. With the combo plate you get 3 sides, which we got coleslaw, Mac n cheese and long rice. Then you get a choice of two proteins which we chose the chicken and prime rib. Prime rib came with gravy which we asked for on the side. The long rice was left untouched since we didn't end up liking it. Mac n cheese had an okay flavor and I finished the coleslaw. Service was quick. Location is in a food court so it's pretty loud. Overall, food was very foo court level. It went from hot to like warm within 10 minutes and at the end it was barely warm. Not sure if I would recommend. Maybe if you want something super quick.

The food here is... if I'm being honest it's ok. I go here everytime I come to ala Moana but that's mainly because my dad and brothers used to always get food there whenever we went to ala Moana so now I automatically go there when I come to Ala Moana as well... and it's only in ala Moana and I usually try to eat at places I can't get on the west side. The chicken is good but I suggest getting the thigh because the breast can sometimes be dry. The prime rib is tender. it's cooked medium/medium rare, cooked just right. I personally could use more salt in the food. Back then they used to have small salt packets that you could grab but some reason they stopped providing it. As for the sides... I like the mushroom risotto. The Mac and cheese lacks any flavor for me so I don't usually get it but my gf wanted it. Usually I'll get the mushroom risotto and mashed potato with gravy and the combo plate will fill me up. Overall the food is good. Ala Moana in general has many places to eat but Lahaina chicken company is one of the only ones that have prime rib and roast chicken in the food court so if that's what you're wanting to eat then give it a try.

3-Item Combo (roasted dark meat chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, broccoli, buttered corn) - VN
    Vince N.

I've always wanted to try Lahaina Chicken Company, but the location at HNL is always closed when I'm there, and when I'm at Ala Moana, there are better dining options than the food court. I finally sacrificed a meal to try them. ATMOSPHERE: Located in the Makai Market food court of Ala Moana Center, they're a takeaway counter with hard to come by communal seating. MENU: Salads, chicken, pork & prime rib. FOOD: 3-Item Plate I chose roasted chicken (dark meat), buttered corn, mashed potatoes with gravy and broccoli in a light cheesey-creamy sauce. The 1/4 piece of chicken was tender, juicy and good-sized. I detected a light truffle flavor on the skin which was still palatable to me. I couldn't finish all of the broccoli as the sauce was too overwhelming. SERVICE: Staff were friendly and food service quick. The chickens were hot, fresh and chopped to order. OVERALL: I'd patronize them frequently if they ever open on Maui.

A must stop when I am in Hawaii! Lahaina Chicken has delicious meats and a wide variety of sides. It is located inside the Ala Moana mall in the food court area. The staff is always friendly, and the establishment is very clean. I love their chicken more than their steak. The chicken is juicy and well seasoned. The steak can be a hit or miss, but the chicken is consistently good. I've tried several sides, and my favorite ones are the mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac and cheese, and tomato salad. I've also had the Cole slaw, but it was all right. I had Lahaina Chicken inside the airport, but it wasn't as good as this location. If you are in Ala Moana give them a try!

4/10/26 single slice with a "twist"…read more I got to this location and it was fair that it be busy cause of the rain. I went around and looked at the 5offerings... it was easy for me to choose it had to be quick so I ordered at aloha by the slice. single slice with a "twist" I say twist cause initially I wanted Sausage and humbly the worker (Teddy M) expressed nicely that they didn't have sausage and I asked for ham... now remember I wanted the "single" slice with one"topping" and no sausage but ham was available. If many of you follow my reviews... I don't care for Hawaiian pizza.... The last Hawaiian pizza I had was at "Spitfire Grill" in the Dukes lane Market and that got 5stars BECAUSE- it had pork grinds on the Hawaiian pizza - which by the way is really delicious and I found it an epic addition to the pizza The reason for my 5stars this time is because Teddy decided that he give me a Slice of Hawaiian pizza that has the "Ham" & Pineapple on it.... Even when I asked for the single topping slice... he was perhaps going above and beyond ((there was an impending line in back of me)) so he choose to take the slice already made warm it in the wood fire stove then take it and cut in half.... He did this for the right person... me!!!! Happiness to hit one customer with a slice that had two toppings... I will add that I realized this may not go as well for other people... but if your one to understand the food service part of it then you get where my 5stars comes from... Thanks Aloha by the slice... I'll be going back again. (I'm still not a sucker for pineapple on my pizza)

Night 1, ordered slices from Aloha pizzeria and Hashi & Spoon (Karaage). Decent all the way around. Night 2 was strange. Ordered Karaage again (my 4 yo loves chicken). And tried to go to get Mexican food from La Pina, and short of saying I'm ready to order, I tried to make eye contact with any one of the 4 teenagers / young 20yos, to infer as much besides obviously standing in front of the register--they were more concerned with an inside joke between each other to bother with me and my son. After waiting a full minute with still acknowledgment, I counted down from 10 out loud to my son and when I reached zero with still no acknowledgment, I dipped. Maybe that was ok, because the al pastor was the only thing that looked somewhat fresh. Went to Greek grotto instead and boy, you really pay the penalty tax for eating right there in Waikiki. Not only was one of the orders wrong despite asking and the workers correcting each other, the gyro plate was abysmally small. Barely 3 oz of gyro meat. I didn't find out all of this till I opened up the container at our hotel room. Irritated, I couldn't go back because I've got a tired 4 yo. The chicken karaage was slightly burnt, which means the outer crust was a tinge bitter, and mostly cornmeal, totally different from yesterday, which also disappointing. Not coming back. Only giving two stars because the service at Aloha Pizzeria was solid and the pizza crust tasted good even cold the next day.

Here's the list: -Champion's Steak & Seafood -Kokoro Cafe -Kulu Kulu -L&L Hawaiian Barbecue -Mahaloha Burger -Panda Express -Penny's Waikiki Malasadas -Pho Factory -Poke Waikiki -Raising Cane's -Subway -Wicked Maine Lobster I've tried most of these places. My faves are Kulu Kulu, L&L and Raising Cane's. This place is packed at night. It's less busy during the day.

The Pa'ina Lanai Food Court located at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center of course! Sometimes when one is on a budget, or if you really don't feel like dining at a regular restaurant, going to a food court is another great option that one can choose to get their grindages on. The Pa'ina Lanai Food Court located at building "B", on the 2nd floor. The food court is open-aired and covered (so that it'll protect you from weather & sun), and it has a lot of clean well kept seating. There are restrooms near by, and I could see that the cleaning staff was very active in cleaning up the tables/chairs at the food court. The Pa'ina Lanai Food Court have the following food eateries - 1. Penny's Malasadas 2. Panda Express 3. Champion's Steak & Seafood 4. Kokoro Cafe 5. Kulu Kulu 6. Mahaloha Burger 7. Pho Factory 8. Poke Waikiki 9. Raising Cane's 10. Wicked Main Lobster A pretty decent selection of food businesses, so hopefully there is something that appeals to everyone. Parking here is pretty easy, as there is a parking structure within the shopping center. If you spend a minimum of $10 bucks, you can get a parking validation for 3 hours. Looking for casual dining? Go check out da Pa'ina Lanai Food Court at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.

Garlic shrimp - no need to drive to the North shore when you can just go to the market eatery located on the 2 nd floor of h- mart. Great garlic shrimp without the travel time! Korean style fried chicken wings - a bit sweet for me but well fried and stayed crispy! Korean spicy pork - no picture but great setup of hot pot rice served w/ hot tea to get every bit of rice - 3 kinds of bachan so good and impressive Beef sukiyaki bowl - just ok serving size a bit small flavor ok Pot stickers aka gyoza- kiddo loved it The only thing we didn't try was the mochi donut - we'll save it for next time ! If you're here for the 1st time - from the parking lot enter H Mart walk towards the back you will find an elevator and stairs that will take you to the 2 nd floor. Once there check out all the eateries before making your selection - there is also a beer garden along with mochi donuts- fried chicken - garlic shrimp - both Japanese and Korean eateries!

This had so much flavor, too! It came out piping hot, so you know it was made fresh. The kimchi salad was good, too. We went around 6pm and it wasn't busy, but since everything is made to order, it took a few extra minutes -- not a big deal. You shouldn't have a hard time finding a seat, there's tons of tables. It's very clean and the vibe is chill. 5/5 recommend going to the second floor food court above HMart. There's plenty to choose from and there's even a bar where you can pour your own beer. Sounds like a good time, we'll check that out next time.

The original IMP consisted of thatched-roof huts offering souvenirs, local crafts, and food. A major renovation in 2016 transformed the IMP into a contemporary shopping and dining destination while still respecitng its Hawaiian heritage. The banyan tree in the shopping center is really impressive. A banyan can reach a height up to 100 feet and spreads laterally indefinitely. Aerial roots that develop from its branches descend and take root in the soil to become new trunks. It's really a highlight of this mall to walk around this enormous tree. There are a huge number of well known stores here with something for everyone. We enjoyed the shopping but did not stay to eat here although there are a lot of options.

High end stores, high end restaurants and other great things like art exhibits. Now that I live in California, I do visit Oahu every two years. At the time when we came here in 2019, we went to a photography exhibit by National Geographic. Now this is something I enjoy. I think tourists could enjoy it too and bring in the modernized look for Waikiki. I have been on the fence about the traditional vendors over these overpriced high end stores. I look at it in a business perspective. Hawaii drives its economy through tourism. We are in the United States of America and you got major cities like New York, Miami, Los Angeles and such. It's competing for more tourists to come to Hawaii. I hate to say this but Hawaii versus Miami? You got people with money that spend at high end stores. People now look at Waikiki like you're shopping on Rodeo Drive. Well if this is what attracts tourists - so be it to help the economy. It is a shame that it has to be this way to survive in this economy. The workers in Waikiki have pride in their job and make an honest living in an expensive state. I do miss the old International Marketplace. It was nice seeing vendors sell things.
