Walking inside feels like stepping back in time in the best way possible. The atmosphere is filled with nostalgia and old school charm that makes the experience feel comforting from the moment you walk in. The pancakes are fluffy, delicious, and impossible to go wrong with, while the crepes are genuinely to die for. Everything feels hearty, comforting, and worth every minute spent waiting. And yes, there will probably be a wait, especially on weekends. The restaurant is incredibly popular, so expect long lines depending on the size of your party. The good news is that things move fairly quickly, even if no wait ever feels fast enough when you are hangry and just want to sit down already.

I grew up in San Bruno and my partner is from Hawaii, so for him to say these pancakes are better than Zippy's is honestly a miracle. Millbrae Pancake House reminds me of the good old days of being a kid and having breakfast with your family after Sunday church, celebrating life before starting a brand new week. The ambiance is authentic and comforting, and the food matches it perfectly. Simple, classic, but still sophisticated in its own way. There is truly nothing better than fresh, soft buttermilk pancakes made with love, paired with eggs, bacon, and sausage. And let's not forget the hot cocoa! Forever grateful for the mountain of whipped cream on top of that rich chocolatey goodness. Without the staff, there is no home. So thank you to the hosts, servers, cooks, and bussers for always being attentive to the little things because those small details are what make customers continue to return time and time again. Highly recommend!

It also comes with your choice of crepe, pancakes, or toast. The pancakes are seriously so delicious and the crepe is also a nice change of pace. My mom swears they have the best pancakes and I agree... Super fluffy and always fresh. On my most recent visit, the corned beef hash and potatoes were the best I've ever had. Everything was perfectly crispy and tasted homemade. My parents like to come for dinner too and enjoy the carbonara pasta and chicken parmigiana. It's not the fanciest or the most authentic but, delicious, homey, and satisfying! If you're craving comfort food, this is definitely worth checking out. The service is fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. Huge bonus that they offer dog-friendly outdoor seating!

My pork chop dinner included soup or salad, slice of toasted and buttered sourdough, potatoes or rice, vegetables and choice of dessert. All for just under $30 before tip. The meal was as expected for a '60s coffee shop. Salt is the dominant seasoning. The turkey and rice soup was a smart way to use leftover ingredients. The boiled red potatoes were good. The two thin pork chops were supposedly marinated, but I couldn't tell from tasting them. They were over cooked--dry, tough and needed some herbs. DH had the cheeseburger with potato salad and praised the meal. He also devoured my dessert--ice cream with chocolate sauce. Service was friendly and efficient, making me want to return. Next time I'll have something like a sandwich or burger.

From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel genuinely welcome with their warmth, friendliness, and positive energy. That welcoming vibe really reflects throughout the entire restaurant and adds so much to the overall dining experience. The food is consistently delicious. My husband's absolute favorite is the crispy pork belly -- perfectly cooked every time with just the right crispness and flavor. As for me, I always go for the benedicts. The hollandaise sauce is rich and flavorful, and the country gravy is pure comfort food goodness. We also tried other items in the menu once in awhile. What really makes Camino Corner stand out is the combination of great food, warm hospitality, and cozy ambiance. You can tell the staff truly enjoys what they do, and it creates such a lively and inviting atmosphere. This place definitely gets busy for brunch, especially around 10 AM, so I highly recommend coming earlier if you want to beat the crowd. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious comfort food, amazing brunch options, and a welcoming neighborhood spot you'll want to keep coming back to.

The atmosphere had a nice vibe and the server, Robin Ra, was very pleasant. The Old Fashioned was mediocre and the cost, like most airports, was outrageous but the straw that broke the camel's back was the EE Ben Surcharge that I noticed on my receipt. The EE Ben Surcharge is, "The "EE Ben Surcharge" or "SF Mandates" charge at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is a surcharge added to restaurant bills to cover the costs associated with San Francisco's employer mandates, primarily healthcare for employees. This surcharge helps restaurants offset the expenses related to the Healthy San Francisco program and other city-mandated benefits" Since, I didn't have a choice whether or not to contribute to this, I will no longer patronize any venue at SFO.

The first time I came was about a year ago when it first opened and was remodeled and I was not impressed for the price point so I never came back. Recently some friends said they really liked it, so I thought why not give it another try? I have to say, I really did like it and they changed up their menu so that it was reasonable and you order from the menu the way you want eat. For example, pick a salad; or a salad and a protein; or a salad, protein and two sides. There is a lot of versatility so you should be able to get something for everyone. I got the apple salad and the chicken cutlet (really a chicken katsu). Felt like it was a nice combination of healthy and a little bit bad so a good compromise hahahah. The lady at the front counter was very nice and explained how the menu worked since I was initially confused. There is a sign saying they don't expect a tip because they want you to come back and they make the tip screen disappear quick so you don't feel guilty but there is a cash tip jar if you want to leave a tip. Lol. Still some pressure but not as much! The restaurant has a nice soft ambient lighting. Since you pick up your own food from the counter and help yourself to water you don't feel rushed to eat and run. So why the 3 stars since it sounds like I enjoyed it? Honestly, and I hate to say this, but it's cuz the people putting the your food on the plate (you can watch them) either didn't have gloves on or had one glove on but moved things on the plate with the ungloved hand. Fixing this would make the place 4 stars. I'm hoping when I go back I will see this because I do plan to go back!
