Miss K is the absolute best groomer I have ever had. I met her when she worked for Petlove and my Zooey ( a Pomeranian) with very special needs is very relaxed with her. She takes the time to treat every client with her full attention . Never in a rush and always very patient. Zooey has health issues that most groomers do not have the patience or skill to work around. Miss K is skilled in both areas. I am a very high maintenance Pom Mom and due to less than favorable encounters with groomers and vet have a very hard time trusting anyone with her. It is extremely comforting to know that even in these very difficult last stages of Zooey's condition , she is treated with kindness and compassion. I can not say enough good things about Miss K. Her new salon is very spacious and very clean . This is a must in my book . Zooey has lung disease and neuro deficits that affect her ability to stand . Bathtime can be very challenging for one person - especially with a fluffy Pom . The other thing that set her apart is she is not hiding anything. Pet owners are welcome to inspect the back area and see for themselves. She bathes them herself so you can be sure your pet is being handled by an experianced groomer and not someone who is just there to wash your pet. Believe me when I tell you that if your pet is being handled by someone that is not trained , horrible things do happen. After seeing how she works and how strong her work ethic is , I would recommend her to everyone looking for a groomer . She is also a master with cats. Miss K is the only groomer I know of that can effectively clean your kitties teeth without any sedation... THATS IMPRESSIVE! I have 2 cats that HATE having their claws clipped. The first time she met my little terrors ( she was a mobile groomer at the time ) I tried to prep her and warn her that both of them were pretty stealth with their anger and to be careful . . I was certain this would not be easy .. I stayed in the van just in case ... I was of course basing this off my experience when trying to clip them. Well, they made me look stupid.. kinda like the dancing frog from bugs bunny. They were SO well behaved.. I was SURE my older one would swipe at her... hiss... spit... something to justify my stern warnings ..... nada nothing. She had them both done in under 10mins. If you are looking for a groomer you can find them everywhere... if you are looking for a groomer that is professiona, knows exactly how to groom by breed, AND you can trust? I would book with Miss K . I dont endorse people very often , but I know how hard it can be to find the right person for your pets needs. She is the best of best!! read more

Master Groomer, Kaori / Ms. Kay is high skill groomer for any sizes, any breads, and any hair lengths. She is very gentle to handle any dogs and cats and do awesome jobs!! I am always amazed by her grooming Shi Tzu, Maltese, Bichon Frise, Poodle, Havanese, and Yorshire Terrier. She makes them so pretty. She can also do AKC style and bath CAT too. She make very shiny beautiful these breeds, Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd, Border Collie, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Collie, and Labrador Retriever. She helps rescues and shelters too. She used to go to Fort Worth Animal Control Care to bath/groom shelter dogs there. Now, she provide her grooming shop for adoption events with Plano Animal Service. The adoption event is coming on Sunday, March 19th 2017. Once a owner of rescued old Chihuahua dog came to our adoption event to ask for help. The Chihuahua dog is a little bit aggressive toward other people beside the owner because the Chihuahua dog could have been abused before the owner rescued him. Therefore, no one could touch his paws to cut tails. His nails were very long because the owner could not even touch. Kaori did not use muzzle and cut his nails. The owner was so happy :) read more

I took my 2 aussies in to get groomed last week and they look amazing! I felt very comfortable leaving them there for a few hours knowing they were in good hands and not being locked in cages. The groomer (Sam) did exactly what I asked for and I could tell she loved my pups as if they were her own. My mom brought her shih tzu mix in as well and said it was the best he had ever looked after a haircut. I recommend this place to my sister and she also has a great experience. I'm a traveling inventor and have lived in multiple states. My Standard poodle goes with me everywhere I go. He is even a canine frequent flyer lol. I have had to use multiple pet salons and daycare across the US. While in S the DFW area we go to Lakeside Pet Spa and Daycare. Adonis loves this place !! This was my first time taking my Standard Poodle to Lakeside Pet Groomers. The entire staff was very professional and did a great job with her! She look and smelled great. Gracie is 13 years old therefore requires extra time and patience and they were very accommodating. This is not the experience I have had with other top groomers in this area. We have been coming to Lakeside Pet for the past year with our nervous senior whippet and our boisterous cavalier puppy. Everyone there is patient and caring, knows our dogs' names and does a great job. We also used their deep dental cleaning service this year to avoid having our senior dog put under anesthesia for a cleaning at the vet's office, and our vet was very happy with the results of the cleaning at Lakeside. read more

Lakeside Pet is fantastic! We brought our cavalier, Emma, to be groomed today and the experience was the best we ever had. The shop and grooming area are very clean, the groomer is the best groomer Emma ever had, the atmosphere is friendly and the dogs are free to roam around the shop rather than be caged. My dogs love it here. We do grooming every 8ish weeks and every time it's always been wonderful. We have a senior dog and a one year old puppy and they take good care of their special needs. Our senior dog is relaxed and calm going and leaving (which wasn't always the case at other groomers) They are working with our younger puppy and have always been patient with him as he gets used to grooming. read more

Best grooming business by far in the area. I've never had a problem and take all 3 of my dogs there. All 3 groomers are amazing and experienced and my dogs come back happy every time. This is the best grooming place for dogs ever, our dog was getting very messy and we told them to clean it up. And they worked on him for 8 hours! They worked an extra hour on him after work hours to get the mats out. He looked better than he ever did and looked so cute. The employees are so nice. I really reccommend. read more
