There needs to be more quality control. Sometimes the pizza is decent other times it's a mess. I've ordered from here several times but recently it seems like the quality has been consistently bad. This was supposed to be a thin crust pepperoni pizza and there's a single piece of pepperoni on several of the slices. I've been buying Lamppost Pizza for a long time, especially throughout the pandemic. I almost forget each time how VERY good it is!! Seriously, never soggy. Always got and cheesy. Tons of options. We have really decided this is our favorite pizza. So easy to get to if you're traveling up or down the 5! For movie night tonight we decided on pizza so my darling honey sent me a few choices to choose from. I decided on this place after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures. I kept having this feeling that I had this place before but I really disliked it. I now remember that it was the one on the vintage Park that my mother-in-law picked up a few times before when we lived with her. Idk why but I just remember literally hating it and it being so gross This Laguna location was delicious and the crust was very filling. Pizza was very flavorful and the cheese garlic bread was to die for. Also I am currently 40 weeks 1day and always starving so maybe that's why it taste so good lol... or maybe this location is just better than the other one. I remembered I had it after seeing the boxes when my love came home with the food. Regardless it was good and this was a great choice. I wanted to try Lamppost Pizza since it appears to be good. It was my first time ordering from them. The online ordering wasn't complicated. I ordered an x-large pepperoni with thick crust. When I went to pick it up, one of the staff greeted me pleasantly. However, he said there was no order under my name. I showed him the transaction on my phone and that's when he went to the back. Shortly, he came back with a bunch of papers and said my order came through but no one made the order. What's the point of having online order available if you don't follow through? Made a pretty big order from here and I appreciated the honesty from the guy taking my order over the phone that it'd be about 40 minutes until it was ready. What we got; Veggie Jackson (-bell peppers) - good toppings, i liked that the tomatoes were added on after being cooked. I could've used more onions on this. 9/10 Pepperoni sausage mushroom - the sausage and pepperoni weren't overly salty, could have added kore sausage to the pizza. 8/10 Garlic cheese bread - the bread to cheese ratio was good. Really cheesy and the bread was soft. The only issue was that there wasn't a very much garlic taste. I thought it was just cheesy bread. 7/10 Chicken wings - meh. We got these breaded and probably wouldn't get again. I asked for Buffalo sauce but i got a sweet and sour sauce instead (not sure if the was a mistake or that's just how their Buffalo is). 6/10 Meatballs and cheese - these were super good and would for sure get again considering the size of the meatballs and price. The tomato sauce was flavorful and wasn't too salty. The meatball was tasty and the cheese on top was perfect. 10/10 Cheese pizza - ok, i would've subbed this for the garlic cheese bread. 6/10 Cesar salad - good, lettuce was crisp. Croutons didn't have much flavor to them. Pretty standard dressing/salad. 6/10 Overall, I would come back. Yesterday evening we ordered a chicken delight pizza with cauliflower crust and did not notice. it was not cauliflower crust until we got home. At this point we were too tired to return it and wait for another pizza to be made, so I called them today, and they said, since it was a mistake on their part, because the chicken delight does not come in a cauliflower crust for a large pizza, they will give me the medium for free. read more

I frequent this place quite often. The service has always been great as well as the food. On one occasion I brought my family along with my 1 and 2 year old grand kids. As we walked in, there was a large party with roughly 8-10 young kids running all over the place and causing a raucous. Their parents thought that was acceptable behavior. As my daughter took her 1 and 2 year old kids to play arcade games she asked some of the kids not to push the other kids trying to play the games. A few moments later a parent of one of the kids starts yelling at my daughter and challenging her to a fight. Thank god the staff intervened and put this lady in her place and told her to go back to her table and control the kids or leave. I was a parent volunteer helper on a civil project this whole weekend that started on a Friday evening and ended on Sunday. I was way too tired to even bbq so I suggested to the family that we support a local restaurant during this economic fiasco that our illustrious governor continues to force upon us and decided to give Lamppost another try. Well.....We were delightfully surprised with "The Whole Nine Yard." It was reasonably loaded with meat/veggie toppings with a nice crust which made it all good. Being a EG resident for over 16 years, I'm glad we rediscovered Lamppost and now I think we found another "To Go" pizza joint. I must admit I was a little apprehensive reading some of the other Yelper reviews about people not getting their order during the stated time or how greasy the crust was but I didn't have any problems what's so ever....but I do have a confession....I love greasy pizzas especially if all that oil is from the meat toppings so that was an encouraging review for me. We also ordered the cinnamon pie and that too was a delicious dessert that wasn't overly sweet but I think I would prefer a little lighter crust. So now only if a pizza joint can release a video recording of Newsom's Auntie Pelosi dining in a restaurant, then maybe the Gov will open "Dine ln" for all as he did with hair salons so restaurants can recoup some losses and survive what's left of this tumultuous 2020 year. They have dine in, takeout, and delivery. They do a great job with special orders. I ordered several pizzas for the children that attended our wedding and the order was delivered as promised. I've ordered ahead many a time for boxing or UFC events and the same has been true. I'll call several hours ahead and place my order and I always receive fresh food on time. They have a good variety of pizzas. You can't go wrong with any of them. Their chicken wings are excellent. They're always cooked great and have just the right amount of bite in them. I love that you can place an order on DoorDash and pick up here! It's super convenient and as far as I can tell, the prices are the same. My only complaint is that the ETA listed in DoorDash isn't always correct but it's because Lamppost is too fast! I like picking up the pizza the second it's ready so my pizza is as fresh as possible.
