This was always our go to for late night drinks and appetizers. Stopped in for lunch, we were not disappointed. Clam strips - excellent, fresh well seasoned / breaded. Rest of the group had sandwiches, all were great. They had many daily specials. Ask about the merchandise. They no longer have many logo-ed items, but they still sell shirts, and of course John Murphy's excellent artwork. Service, as always at the Ho, snappy!

Been coming here since I was a kid, it's still maintained its charm and quality! Service is attentive, and food is always good. My favorite is usually the fried seafood platters, but I went for a grilled chicken sandwich this time. Chicken was juicy and ingredients were fresh! A cape cod staple. Can get busy so if you have a large party go early!

Down Cape for a figure skating competition Was not sure where to eat, I came here a long time ago. So I decided to try it again. It felt like being a kid in the 70's and 80's old school Cape Cod menu. The fish was fresh and the steak tips tasted great and were tender. I like the old license plates and signs hanging inside Plenty of parking and service was fast

Stopped into Land Ho after the Independence Day parade. The place was packed with many of the parade participants and parade goers. It seemed as though this place was an Orleans staple for locals. The bar offered many local brews along with some great tasting Guinness. Drinks were served quickly and cold. We were seated in a modest patio which was perfect for us. We listened to fife, drums, and bag pipes while waiting for food. Cool experience The food was excellent starting with the creamiest clam chowder. We went with shrimp basket and tuna melt for lunch. All food was very tasty and served hot. Private parking and street parking available.

Had dinner here last night and it was a very good experience, had the fish and chips and it was fantastic cooked perfectly, had fish the other night at another establishment and it was too soft breading wise and fell apart like sand. This food was really good it was flavorful and the tartar tasted like it was made in house very flavorful... and yeah tartar matters some taste horrible, French fries were also really good surprisingly, but what was amazing was the seafood cakes i highly reccomend them was the perfect appetizer... only thing i wish this place had was a seafood platter but otherwise i was impressed, service was also good would def come again

Best clam chowder I've ever had at Land Ho!! Love the atmosphere in here. The crab cakes are also a must. Great spot for a mid afternoon bite.

Great atmosphere! So, go for drinks. Food was so-so. Chowder was thick (canned and too much flour.) fried apps were over fried.

Big lies, little lies, white lies, we all tell lies sometimes. But not the double dragon. The double dragon never lies. I come through: late night, hungry, looking for that dish that gives me what I need. Carbs (simple), fats (fatty), and protein (breaded) are all a young guy like me looks for in a wom-I mean restaurant. My server didn't give me the runaround, no fancy BS and certainly no fake hospitality. Just a genuine smile and honest recommendations. When the food came (and you know it came fast), he didn't just drop and run like a lover rolling over for a cigarette. He lingered, told us what we had. Made sure we were ready to stuff our holes with the best ambiguously-oriental cuisine this sleepy cape cod town had to offer. This is more than a watering hole with Lo Mein, it is the answer. The antidote to $23 burgers with truffle fries. The panacea for the working man's worldly woes. The double dragon inn, I love you. Best, Barry

We splurged for the ribs and brisket combo and it came tender, slow-cooked and tantalizing; and side sauces here are simply world class. (And there are plenty!) The atmosphere is rustic, friendly, and stay awhile chill. Eat inside, take out, cozy up to the bar, plop down on a picnic table outside near a firepit, or just bowl a few strings. Every way's a winner. Because at The Alley, they're committed to doin' it right, y'all, and it just plain shows!

The staff seemed unprepared to handle the crowds, communication was inconsistent, and several employees responded to reasonable questions with unnecessary attitude. There was also no clear manager or supervisor available to address concerns. The reservation system is confusing and inefficient, which only added to the chaos. To make matters worse, nearly half of the arcade games were out of order or malfunctioning, and several took credits without working. It was disappointing to spend money on games that couldn't even be played. One particular young staff member was especially unprofessional--she spoke to customers disrespectfully, provided little to no clear information, and escalated frustration rather than helping resolve it. With better training, stronger leadership, properly maintained games, and a more organized reservation process, this place could be a great experience. Unfortunately, based on our visit, the customer service and overall experience fell far below expectations.

But I stopped by midday and inquired, learning that about half the tables are first-come first-served and if I arrived around 5:15 I'd get in with no wait. A bit early but that's what I did. By 5:45 it was completely full and I heard the hostess telling arrivers of 60 minute waits. Very popular! And for good reason. La Bella Vita was as close to perfect as I've seen in some time. The hostess did some quick checking and soon found me a high top table for 4 in the semi-enclosed patio (wood stud walls, metal roof, plexiglass panels keeping out the chilly wind). There are a lot of different spaces here: the patio where I sat, the outdoor garden, or the main dining room with its table seating, the bar, and a counter and stools along a wall. So if you plan ahead and make a reservation you can have your pick. My waitress arrived soon after I was seated, brought water in a pitcher and offered bread which I appreciated. Free bread is getting less common these days unfortunately, and it was good: soft warm Italian with an herbed crust, and a bottle of olive oil and jar of grated Parmesan on the table. My drinks for the evening were one of their specials, Grapefruit Gimlet. Which I suppose is a gimlet made with grapefruit juice instead of - or in addition to - lime? It had just a hint of sweetness, good flavor, icy cold, beautiful pink color, was served in an attractive glass, and strong. My appetizer was arancini: a generous portion of 3 with a nice crunchy outside, served over plenty of good red sauce and covered with coarsely grated cheese and green parsley. The interior could have been firmer - the risotto may have been a little overcooked - but overall quite good. The highlight was without a doubt the main entree: Pork Osso Buco. It must have been a special because I don't see it on the menu now. A spectacular presentation, and enormous! The pork shank standing vertically in the center of the plate atop the mashed sweet potatoes, surrounded by a huge portion of roasted brussels sprouts. The meat was heavily herb-crusted and tender. The brussels sprouts, carefully sliced into halves, were well-browned and had just a pleasant hint of bitterness, and the sweet potato mash was a more interesting choice than the common white potatoes. They don't skimp on portion sizes here, the meat or the vegetables. I ate plenty that evening and took home enough for a large lunch the next day. My waitress was flawless. She checked on me as needed, asking how things were, knew all the answers to my several questions about the food and drinks, had good recommendations, and made me feel welcome and at home. Dessert was the Spumoni Bomba: chocolate, pistachio, and strawberry gelato inside a hard chocolate shell, served with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Also excellent, all 3 gelatos having great flavor, the shell pleasingly crunchy and chocolatey. The whipped cream was an unnecessary addition and was slightly melty. A minor flaw for a very good dessert, and like the appetizer and entree, a size that was more than adequate. Desserts are not made in house but came from "a bakery in Boston" I was told. Even the espresso was perfect. Definitely a place to return to. There's a large menu including many of the Italian standards - pastas, meat, poultry, and seafood entrees, and pizzas. Plenty of things to choose from. They don't make the pasta in house but I'll forgive them for that.

The atmosphere is just ok but our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. So that was a plus! We ordered the arancini, bolognese, chicken parm with broccolini instead of pasta. The arancini was crunchy but only tasted like cheese. The chicken parm was fine. Not crunchy. The broccoli was charred beyond recognition! It tasted Smokey. I had already sent back a drink I didn't care for so I didn't want to send another thing back. Bolognese was good. Nothing special either. Don't think we will hurry back.
