TLDR- Perfect summer patio, simple menu, high quality 'za The place was well staffed and everyone, including the owner, was going out of their way to help. Someone from the open concept kitchen gave my daughter a piece of dough to play with while we waited! I love their simple menu- they only make 12 inch pizzas! We had the pineapple & bacon, sausage & peppers, and the pepperoni. The P&B was INCREDIBLE, and the other two were super tasty, too. Another bonus was that they came out FAST- maybe 5 min! The patio. Im in love. It's on the east side of the building, so at dinner time it was fully shaded, which is a huge bonus on hot summer nights! Some comfy chairs, modern tables, and ceiling fans really rounded out the space. There isn't a ton of indoor seating so this space is clutch. One thing to note- this is not a Little Caesars. These are high quality pizzas, with ingredients made fresh in house, and they are priced as such. If you want cheap pizza with rubber cheese, look elsewhere. As a former Chicagoan, I was spoiled with good pizza. This place holds up against city classics like Coal Fire, Forno Rosso, and Spacca Napoli. read more

Stopped in today for an early dinner. We all got our own pizza. Small enough for an individual but certainly shareable. The gluten free option was really good. I had mine with Serrano peppers, sausage and onion. We also tried the pineapple and bacon, Pepperoni and sausage and a mushroom with bell peppers. All very good. The food came out fast! Hands down the best gluten free pizza I've had. This family owned and operated business has it dialed in! They make their dough and cheese in house. And it's amazing! I'm so sensitive to cross contamination and currently fighting colon cancer from celiac disease and I did not get sick! Kim, the wife, mother of this team was so hospitable and friendly. They have phenomenal service and delicious food! As soon as we arrived, they got us drinks while we waited for our friends. Then when our friends got there, there were 3 kids and they gave them dough balls to play with while the food was cooking. I want to love the pizza but I didn't have a good experience with it. The top was burnt and the middle was soggy. I feel like there are some kinks to work out with how they cook it and maybe the oven. Sauce and ingredients are top notch. Loved that part of the pizza. The staff were awesome and I really felt like they were trying to make it great for us. We ordered then waited in our car and they delivered to the car. They are awesome. This is a Neapolitan type pizza place. Small dining room where you prepay for your food (including tip). The menu choices are minimal as they focus on the pizza. Beverage choices are minimal too, I only remember seeing Miller Lite and Modelo offered for beer. We started with the garlic knots which were good. Then we tried the pepperoni pizza and the pineapple and bacon pizza, both very good. For me, these places walk a fine line between cooking and burning the pizza (as they only need about 2 mins in the oven). We liked the pizza here but it hasn't overtaken our local favorite for Neapolitan style (Napoli Per Tutti in Schaumburg). read more

They do a really good job with gluten free pizza, I've never gotten sick and I get sick pretty easily when exposed. The only thing I wish is that they would invest in a small dedicated oven, even a toaster oven to finish the baking process in. Because they (thankfully) bake it in a pan to avoid contamination, the bottom does not crisp at all. I pop it in the toaster oven at home for a few minutes and it's pretty much perfect for the style of pizza it is. I do prefer tavern, but am happy that this is safe to eat. Unfortunately the sauce amount is inconsistent on it so it's better at some times than others. My last pizza had almost zero sauce. While the employees are nice, it's almost too much, it feels VERY forced. I have had people practically tripping over each other to be nice to me and it's overwhelming and feels incredibly insincere, one girl ran up and got in front of the other person who was already thanking me as she gave me my pizza. Just let whoever is taking care of the person finish the transaction, it's just a pizza, we don't need two staff members to check out, one is enough. I hate to complain about that but sometimes I skip eating there because of it. Sincerity goes much further. read more

I had to check this new local pizza place out! We quickly realized it was way more than a typical "pizza place." The staff was great and the owners were so engaged, interacting with the guests! The inside dining was super cute with a sightline into the kitchen which was impressive. Their outdoor patio was perfect on a late summer evening. The food was to die for. While it took a while to decide with so many options...we ordered the Arugula Salad + Focaccia & the Mushroom pizza. The Arugula Salad + Focaccia is an amazing thin focaccia, soft but hearty enough to hold this ridiculous amount of fresh arugula salad with Kalamata olives, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts & fresh parm! The mushroom pizza with the perfect amount of mushrooms, cheese and a light red sauce! The crust is was the perfect combo of chewy with the right amount of crunch! We will be back! read more

Great tasting Brick Oven Pizza! I ordered a Cheese and a Pepperoni/Mushroom for myself and the kids. The ingredients are high quality, plenty of parking, and the staff is great. The only thing that I have an issue with is the size. I could eat 3 of these pizzas before I take a breath. I ended up eating both pizzas since my kids were finishing up leftovers from the previous night. These pizzas are really the size of a large calzone at other shops. I know that I have a larger appetite than most normal humans, but if the prices were adjusted to reflect the portion size I would agree, but they are not so the price is a little higher than what you get pertaining to the size of the pizza! If you want the real deal brick oven pizza and you can get in, Spacca Napoli in the Ravenswood neighborhood is the place! This is another one of those family run businesses that put their heart into everything they do and it shows. This is a clean restaurant that has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food is VERY good! We have been conservative in our pizza choices but our next option will be the pineapple and bacon pizza which, I have heard, is delicious! Do not hesitate to order from this restaurant. You will not be disappointed! There are lots of restaurants that can give you a good pizza but not all of them give you a delicious pizza with a smile! What a great addition to Ogden Ave ! Attractive buildout and charming indoor and outdoor seating . This is brick fired Neapolitan style pizza . Absolutely delicious! I thought I'd try something different , the pineapple bacon with balsamic drizzle and it was great , I would order it again. I also ordered several more pizzas in more traditional combinations and dropped them off for the staff at Dogtopia down the road and they loved it all. We were disappointed in the new Lantern Pizza. The food tasted OK, but the crust was so limp, it was hard to hold without toppings falling off. We prefer crisp thin crust to soggy. And for some reason the lights in their parking lot were not on. We probably won't be back for either of those reasons. read more
