Probably the best experience I have ever had buying a car. The sales staff was extremely low-pressure, hands-off, just there to answer questions and let us look around, test drive, etc. Nobody tried to steer us into anything, and we had a chance to think about what worked best for us. Negotiations were very straightforward, we were able to get the trade-in value we were looking for (more or less), and it was a good deal overall. I bought a 2022 Gladiator which I just love: they had a lot of them so there was pretty good selection. (They do have more of some models than others, and you will have a lot more options if you go with something they have a lot of. We went with a model that was less tricked-out and closer to base price, which allowed us to decide what add-ons we wanted ourselves). I will say there was a little bit of a full-court press to buy the added warranties, but that's up to you, and the "pitch" was completely ethical. I will say that the factory and dealership warranties are already pretty good. read more

Dodge finally reached out after over a year of constant issues. Their solution was wanting me to bring in my car for them to fix lol. I told them to little too late. My car has already been fixed by people that actually know what they're doing! They said there was nothing more they could offer me. Sadly not long after that last conversation with Larson Dodge my breaks in my 2014 dart went out and I nearly rearended a truck going 50 mph on the freeway! After all the issues I have had with this vehicle this is by far the worst. If you want a safe a reliable vehicle you won't find that at Larson Dodge. Worst ever!!! Treat you great during the buying process but as soon as you have the car they could careless. We actually had a great experience the first go round great car awesome everything second car had wiring issues with the break lights working the opposite way they should have. They ended up recommending trade that one in for a brand new car which we paid for maintenance and extra warranty problem is nothing has actually been covered under the warranties. Complained about a noise while turning with in month of having new car. They claimed to fix it but it never went away brought it up every service appointment (BE WARE IF YOU HAVE PROBLEM MAKE SURE IT IS NOTED IN PAPERWORK THAT YOU TOLD THEM BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING) They told me since it wasn't on paperwork it basically never happened. Took my car to another dodge dealer for oil change because they are closed due to Covid19 they found the issue with in minutes with of doing routine check and I never mentioned the noise to them. I called Larson and they told me a- my call from day prior regarding taking my car elsewhere for oil change was not noted as they told me it would be. b- they would schedule to have it diagnosed with few and see if it would be covered under warranty if not I would be advised on what to pay. Another thing we paid for service package and they don't actually do the items listed unless "they think it needs to be done" BS IF I paid for maintenance to be done it should be done not pick and choose what needs to be done the whole point is to maintain the vehicle to keep it running (as they said when they sold us in the package to begin with) not only fix it when it because a problem. Great sales service but once they get you sold they could careless 2/3 we purchased have had wiring issues and I would be 100% certain when I traded in the sonata they did not correct the break light issue before resale. If you bought a white sonata with break light issues working the opposite way let me know because they sold it to you that way I have VIN and all the notes. This place is a joke will never buy another car from them. Also make sure you record any interactions with them for your protection. Yelp will not be the only place I report them to. I gave them fair chance to correct the situation I have been left with out returned calls, emails absolutely zero follow ups on multiple issues. read more

My husband and I bought a vehicle here 6 months ago, the sales guy Tyler fudged the miles on the sales slip and we didn't notice until we left the dealership and papers were signed because we didn't have the vehicle in front of us; we were told it was being "detailed" before they sent it home with us. Cynthia in the business office upsold the service protection warranty to us. After signing paperwork with Cynthia, I asked her to print off a copy of everything that's included in our warranty - she printed proof of the warranty but it has no itemized list of the services covered, another short coming on their end. The day we took our vehicle home a dash light came on saying we needed a new front head light, our sales person never called us (they told us they'd call within 3 days to see if there were any issues) or returned our calls. Since our mileage on paperwork was a lie, the 250 miles return window was null. When we attempted to call the service department for the headlight issue they told us our warranty did not kick in for 90 days. 90 DAYS?! That should be the time period when you have no worries about your new vehicle, I wish we had been outright told this, but I guess we should have read the fine print. Our license plates were not in by the time our temporary plate expired, when asking for a new temporary, I was told "DOL is just really backed up, cops won't pull you over" really easy for them to say, but they are not law enforcement so they cannot guarantee that I would not be pulled over. It took multiple attempts at calls and voicemails before they even responded to me. Like magic, the plates suddenly appeared the next day and they called me saying they were ready. I assume they just forgot to call me initially and then were covering their tracks. As you can tell from my experience, I already had zero faith or trust in this business. Fast forward to November, my husband and I both attempted to call multiple times about scheduling an oil change- for 2-3 weeks we attempted to call, each time being promised that we would receive a call back - NO ONE EVER CALLED. Finally we were able to get thru to someone and the soonest appointment they could give us for an oil change was about 3 weeks out on 12/31. This morning my husband brought our vehicle in to be serviced and they told him 1) our warranty doesn't cover it. And 2) they do not have the oil filter in yet that they ordered from O'Reilly's. I am FURIOUS, they had plenty of time to order a filter it's been 3 weeks since the appointment was made. Get your shit together. I wish I had brought my business elsewhere, this is the worst dealership I could have done business with, they are shady, dishonest, unreliable and terrible at communication. I will never recommend them to anybody and will never purchase another vehicle from here again. read more

I had a great sales experience here. I have yet to use their service department. Tyler was our salesman and he was great to deal with. Even when it looked like the deal couldn't be done, he continued with it and they got the deal done. The business manager was a pleasure to deal with. We were in and out with no issues. The only things keeping me from giving 5 stars is that the truck could have been cleaner and I got the truck with an empty fuel tank. This is the first new car I've ever purchased where I didn't leave with a full tank. So my first stop was the gas station. When I got home I put armor all on all the spots that were missed, wiped the dash down and got some other things taken care of. A nice addition is that they do give free car washes for life. All in all I would recommend this dealer for sales. And I highly recommend Tyler as a salesman. read more

Generally happy with the service I get at Larson. We purchased a vehicle back in Dec. 2013. It is a 2012. We were told that everything was up to date and serviced. Upon our second oil change - we were told we needed $600 brake job. Not happy about that..... However, I like that we can access coupons on their website when needed, their facility is clean and comfortable. And even my kids are entertained with the popcorn and tv. We have had about 3 oil changes thus far (my husband serviced our brakes himself and saved us $500.) and we are pleased with the results and service. read more

First off, my sales experience was great! Sean McNally was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about my jeep and answered all my questions. I did not feel pressured in the least. My husband was on a 2 day leave from his deployment so we did not have a lot of time to waste. We were out the door with the price we wanted and a great trade in value (thanks Rob!). However, as soon as the purchase was over...we were dropped. No communication. There was issues and still issues with my glass and my husband and myself have tried calling, leaving messages to the service dept and finance and no call backs. Finally after calling Sean, I was able to bring my car back. They cleaned my glass, however after taking it back to the tint shop it is still cleaned. Not to mention it has been over a month and they still have not scheduled my lowjack install or the glass coating. My car is dirty, it was never detailed after I purchased due to how late in the evening it was and everyone was gone. So, here I sit...in the mean time my car is getting dirty from kids being it it which is the whole reason I purchased the glass coating (pointless now) and my car sits at the train station which is why I purchased a lowjack and not to mention my husband wanted this in case he was not able to get a hold of me and with him feeling helpless on the other side of the globe (pointless now). My husband wanted to have this all taken care of before he went back to the middle east since I have a child and work in Seattle I have No Time to be playing phone tag trying to get the service I have already paid for! When I went into the store thinking maybe they have phone issues there I found that they charged 15-20 dollars more on their parts than other Jeep dealerships in the local area. I was sold a 2011 dodge journey with no working air-conditioning. They did not charge it or check it before they sold it to me. I bought it in November so unfortunately I did not check it when I test drove it. I never really noticed or needed the air conditioning so I never drove all the way back there to get it fixed. But before a trip to CA I thought I'd pop in and have them take care of it. Apparently I just barely missed the warranty window in which they would be willing to take care of it. Worst customer service I could ever image from a dealership. Not only did they bait me the whole week before we can out about a truck and would answer my emails within 15 minutes, but they day we drove an hour up to come buy this truck money in hand, they said she sold it. The sales lady would always answer emails right away but the day before stopped responding. Silly me thought it was because it may of been busy and she would get back to me. NOPE, because she sold it and she still wanted us to drive up there. After we did come up before knowing it was sold, we sat there for 20 minutes waiting before they told us, trying to pitch a newer more expensive truck. After getting an online appraisal for my trade in, I went down to the Larson dealership (the River Rd location) to test drive a Grand Cherokee. Once at the dealership, the customer service was as expected at a dealership, nothing to write home about. However, when it came time to make a deal our salesman changed his tune and the service went downhill quick, so I walked. For a few days afterwards, a sales manager at the Meridian location called and emailed me to follow up a number of times. I obtained my own financing and then responded to said Sales Manager's emails in an attempt to give Larson a second chance, with no replies from Larson (it's been a week). I guess they didn't want my business. Harnish is miles better, night and day, if only they sold Jeep. Update: Although I did buy a Grand Cherokee elsewhere. Justin was so helpful with finding the right fit for me. Not just in what the vehicle came with but price wise as well. He took the time to ask questions about what I need and what I want and found the best vehicle I could ask for. Instead I went to my local dealer, and they did not have any problems working around my situation. No my situation was not credit related. Donnie the sales man, did not seemed interested in selling me a vehicle. Nor did he ever reach out to me. I had to reach out to him. I don't know maybe they sell enough cars that they don't need to provide customer service. But I was ready to purchase a car, and they did not want to work with me. Just purchased a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country. Once the contract was signed and financing complete, they handed me a broken key fob. They told me it was the battery and stated I needed to buy a new one. Seriously? They could not even replace the battery. I purchased a new battery for $7 and the key fob still does not work. It is reasonable to expect that when you negotiate the price and buy a vehicle it should have working keys. I really have to question the integrity of this place. I would not be surprised if they knew it was broken before hand. Bummer. I will not be going back and will steer my friends and family elsewhere. read more

Purchased a car 2 weeks ago. Had a tire blow while driving it. Glad I was going slow and less than a mile from my destination. Took it in to get the tire plugged because I thought I had run something over. Found out all the tires were at or below legal tread and wearing uneven. I had to drop $400 on tires for a vehicle I purchased 2 weeks prior and still have to get the alignment fixed. Very disappointed read more

I purchased a used vehicle from Larson about 6 months ago. At the signing I was talked into buying an exterior ceramic coating. Because of the car I was buying I wanted to protect it so, I bought it. 2 weeks later I dropped it off and they applied this ceramic coating. When I got the car back it looked as if they ran a polisher over it incorrectly. Several swirls and lots of weird shines is the best I can describe it. I was just so excited to have my car that excepted the service debt explanation of "oh, that's the extra shiny protection under these fluorescents". A couple weeks went by and I was noticing this weird shine and so I contacted the dealership. They had a young lady reach out and I sent her pictures. Her response "I'll show our manager". Later I was told it was "supposed to look like that and I just didn't know that because I wasn't used to the product." Fast forward 6 months and I take it to a hand wash business after I reach my road trip destination. The man doing the work comes in and says "wow someone who didn't know what they were doing put a buffer on your car. It needs completely bugged out and redone" His statement proved to me what I suspected. Larson Motors did a shitty job. Then blew me off. My recommendation is if you buy a car from them, don't let them convince you of some after market bullshit product. If you want that, take it to a professional because they screwed my car up. Here's where my review may been different. * They could have pulled someone else to deliver my car and get a ride back to puyallup as I originally was planning I don't care who brings my car home I need my old car home..* Then I threw a fit along with my dad now per Eric my salesman the GM stated on the 29th there will be 2 people to deliver my car home and a follow car so that person has a ride back to work. Here we are Saturday. I've texted my salesman he said around noon should be at my house.. text later saying "caught up with customer my 2nd driver is here be on the way soon" I then waited about an hour before I said my car needs to be in the driveway by 4. It's 2:56 now I'll be texting my salesman soon to see if he's on the way as I am about an hour out. I do understand they don't wanna pull off ppl from work. But they told me 3 times by 3 different people I would be getting my car returned to me * and its the principle hold up your end and ive held up mine.. * Update 2/29 Car was brought to me however all this chaos could have been prevented on Friday. I gave my down payment in the form of cashier check to who i thought was a Tyler.. his name was Eric i guess. i have video cameras at my house which show this guy pulling into my driveway with my old car around 455pm and i talk about the down payment he proceeds to get on the phone with whoever and asks "do you want me to collect the down payment" so i hand it over. his ride comes and i go inside.. Update 3/1 Call from Mike, the guy i worked with on my paperwork.. saying hey I wasn't here on Friday i know you were gonna bring in the down payment.. i said yeah I had my car dropped off yesterday and handed my payment to a tyler.. i didn't catch a last name because he didn't provide me with one.. i then sent the video via text and he says that's Eric and he is bringing it in... i then say let me know when its been handed over to who it needs to be. Now, I took a different van there 4 weeks ago...never touched it...the service department did not know it was there!!!!! Even after they told me 2 days ago it was fixed and ready to be picked up!! So we were "normal" customers of Larson a while back, purchased multiple vehicles from them, and then we weren't because we had a bad experience a couple years ago. We decided to give them another try when we were looking for new cars. Carmen COMPLETELY turned our view of them around. We absolutely LOVED working with her, as well as Tony and Matt on our most recent deal. We purchased a new car from Carmen two days ago, and since she was so amazing and wonderful, we went back and got another new car from her. We were beyond buried in our current vehicle and Carmen and Matt went way out of their way to make sure we got an amazing deal and were able to get the car we wanted. The price was right but sales staff and managers were lacking in the ethics department. I ended up buying the truck from them anyways, because like I said, the price was right and I had already drove a long way. But.....they forced me to have my credit report ran or they wouldn't have done the deal. I always, always (5 cars in the last 3 years) walk into the dealership with the pre-approved check from the bank and only fill out the top of their intake form (name, address, etc) and then write "do not run my credit report" across the bottom portion asking for my SSN. Not only did they put up a big stink and try to bully me Into giving them my SSN and signing the form for a credit check, but they also claimed that it was mandated by WA law to run the credit report. Like I said before, i have bought many cars in last couple years and 2 others within the last 9 months and never has a dealership made this false claim. I cannot say all of the employees are unethical but the group working that night were somewhat shady. read more

It took me some time before I decided to give 1 star, but I don't feel they deserve any more than 1. I met them at a used auto show in Federal Way, and they were pretty nice so we decided to head down there and check them out after the show (we didn't see what we wanted there). I stopped in to look at and test drive a Dodge Ram with my wife. They were very nice, let us drive the truck around and see if we liked it, and it was nice, thought wasn't our first choice. After deciding we would go ahead and negotiate for the truck, they wanted to make sure we were credit worthy first. He made a point of asking me before running it if I had any credit problems or if there shouldn't be an issue, I told him that there shouldn't be an issue that I had just bought a car about a year prior and everything went fine, and that my score has gone up considerably since then. That seemed all and well, so I continued to negotiate with the salesman while they were running the numbers, but they were pretty unwilling to negotiate. They said the truck, listed at $22k, was the best price I would get anywhere, and that they weren't going to negotiate down. This is fine, and I have no issue with that. I decided to take a look in the area at other trucks while they were running my credit, because I have no problem continueing to look, when I stumbled upon Northwest Motor Sports. I will have their review posted as well, but a long story short, I bought my truck from them. (Now for the main 1 star reasoning). When I bought my truck from NWMS, they went back to run my credit (which was considerably faster than Larson); he quickly returned with a worried look, and asked if we had been shopping around for a while. I told him that we had been "shopping" but had only applied at Larson just earlier, and asked him why he was concerned. He told me that Larson had Shotgunned my application to multiple lenders (8-12) and it looked terrible on my credit, and he didn't understand why they would do that unless they were having trouble getting me a loan. My credit wasn't awesome at the time, but it definitely wasn't bad enough to not get a loan, so the shotgun was not necessary. When I reviewed my credit score the next month to see, low and behold I had numerous new inquiries on my report, and my 3 scores shot down 6 points, 41 points, and 25 points. After a couple of months my score recovered, because as they say, auto loan and mortgage inquiries don't look bad if they're done in batches, but still looks bad to anyone who now looks at my report and doesn't know what the situation was, and I have been denied since then because of too many inquiries on my report. I am more than upset about this because I had issues with my credit before, and have been working extremely hard to resolve them all (which I have) so to have something like this happen has been more than frustrating. read more

Update from 1st review. So, as you can see below our 1st impression sucked. hubby wanted to check it out again. We went inside and were introduced to John Reginato, who was impressive and great. Completely different than our first visit. He let my hubs test drive a promaster and gave us prices, etc. No pressure, just the facts. I prefer him over the last few folks I've encountered. Anyway, if it were just him I'd give him a 100 stars, but the dealership itself was not as friendly. John was told of our experience before and said if he's not there to discuss fleet vehicles, the other guys/gals don't know much about cargo vans and such. Helpful none-the-less. If you go and get a promaster, seek him out, terrific person. Old review: Went there today. Parked walked to the other end, watched one guy talking to person, then passed another 2 talking about sports and they saw us. We had NO SERVICE, no "hello", nothing. We stood there looking at each vehicle for 3-5 minutes, reading the manufacturer notes. Couldn't ask questions, couldn't see inside or test drive. Why? They were too busy. Then, as we walked by them, all 3 stooges were standing talking about sports and another topic I can't recall. We got in vehicle and head off to another dealership. If you want service, don't go when these 3 stooges are there, as you can get better service elsewhere. Apparently they don't work on commission. LOL But you confirmed my belief that dealerships aren't helpful to families or women. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They lie every step of the way to make a sale! Worst mistake of my life ever buying from them. Do yourself a favor and buy from anybody else! read more
