Update from 1st review. So, as you can see below our 1st impression sucked. hubby wanted to check it out again. We went inside and were introduced to John Reginato, who was impressive and great. Completely different than our first visit. He let my hubs test drive a promaster and gave us prices, etc. No pressure, just the facts. I prefer him over the last few folks I've encountered. Anyway, if it were just him I'd give him a 100 stars, but the dealership itself was not as friendly. John was told of our experience before and said if he's not there to discuss fleet vehicles, the other guys/gals don't know much about cargo vans and such. Helpful none-the-less. If you go and get a promaster, seek him out, terrific person. Old review: Went there today. Parked walked to the other end, watched one guy talking to person, then passed another 2 talking about sports and they saw us. We had NO SERVICE, no "hello", nothing. We stood there looking at each vehicle for 3-5 minutes, reading the manufacturer notes. Couldn't ask questions, couldn't see inside or test drive. Why? They were too busy. Then, as we walked by them, all 3 stooges were standing talking about sports and another topic I can't recall. We got in vehicle and head off to another dealership. If you want service, don't go when these 3 stooges are there, as you can get better service elsewhere. Apparently they don't work on commission. LOL But you confirmed my belief that dealerships aren't helpful to families or women. read more

I would give this dealership zero stars if I could!!!! Where do I even start?!? So my first trip to this dealership I test drove a 2015 white Jeep Patriot with everything included such as power doors and windows, AC, etc. I loved the vehicle! But when it came down to time to buy the monthly payment was insane! So I agreed to a number and they went back. Finally, they told me they found me a different jeep, but with everything the other jeep had to offer. No Different except for the payments were lower and it was a different color. So I agreed to it. They didn't offer me a viewing or a test drive of the car before signing for it so I took their word for it that it was exactly the same. After signing a deal with the devil, the sales associate took me out to the car to show me everything. And it turns out the car didn't have power windows or locks or even AC. Mind you we were leaving to move to Florida in a month. We NEED AC. I can handle the doors being manual. But if you're going to tell the customer that the car is exactly the same as the one test driven, you better make damn sure it is! After being at this dealership for a good 5 hours, I took the car home. About a week later I called back because not having AC was too big of a deal. It was somewhat a hassle to get ahold of them but they finally got back to me and I went and traded for a Jeep Patriot with AC. Signing for this car and completely agreeing to this car, we also signed for an extended warranty. BIG MISTAKE. After talking to my father about it, I decided to call and cancel the extended warranty. Which would be no problem, if the company that my extended warranty was through, ACTUALLY HAD RECORD OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. $2,200 for the extended warranty that was never turned in or processed. So where did my money go?!? Larson took it! They practically stole it from me. I have been trying to contact them and fix the problem for a month now. Calling every single day. I have gotten 2 calls back. One telling me they couldn't speak to my father about this (he's the tough guy, I'm not) after I've even given authorization to do so. And the second call was actually today. I missed the call but called back immediately and have had all of my calls dodged ever since! This has been the most stressful car buying I have ever dealt with and I shouldn't even be having problems with the dealership a month or so after buying the car. Just do yourself a favor and steal clear of this dealership! It is filled with a bunch of scam artist!!!!! I love Dodge and Jeep but the employees at this specific location are giving the company a terrible name! If you want a Dodge or Jeep I highly suggest you drive the extra miles to go to the Tacoma dealership or any other dealership! Do not stress yourself with this dealership! read more

So, its been a week, no follow up by Brian Atkins, no confirmation that the $3500 service contract has been canceled, no explanation from anyone why the discrepancy on my trade after the fact, or why I am suddenly out $1600. I was open to the possibility that I read something wrong, but the radio silence just doesn't feel right. I did talk to the Salesman, and he said he would remind Brian to follow up with me, but apparently this is not important enough for his time. On the other hand, I did stop by the Credit Union that has my loan. I explained what was going on with my trade, and how some of the funds were written as cash down etc. Also asked them if they give reductions in interest rate if customers buy a service contract, because that is what Larson told me. She kind of laughed and said if anything it would make the loan more risky because my debt to income would be higher on a higher loan, and doesn't a new vehicle come with a warranty anyway? She has never heard of that. She called their Corp Loan Center, they also gave me another .25% off my interest rate. So to recap, Larson says that they can give me a 4.99% interest rate, if I buy a $3500 service contract they can get me a 3.99%, I go to the credit union and ask if this is the truth , they say no, and reduce my interest rate further to 3.74% She also gave me their Loan Center phone number if I wanted to make a formal complaint about this in the future. At this point I am just wondering how a supposedly reputable business can operate like this and not get a million bad reviews. I feel like I am just getting blown off. I guess I have no recourse except to post my experience to as many sites as I can and contact the BBB, DFI, etc. And warn as many unknowing consumers as possible. read more

Beware: they pulled my credit at least 10 times without notifying me. I had assumed that my report would be pulled once, since I filled out one application. They shopped my application to over 10 banks for a loan that was ridiculously high. Please notify the buyer if you plan on doing this. I ended up getting a loan at another Dodge dealership at a lower rate than what Larson offered. read more

This is not against Larson, per say, but Chrysler in general. Six dealerships throughout the US and only one was good. I have a 2011 T&C van. Two recalls on it. One on the rear window motors. The other on an oxygen sensor. I made an appointment, went it, talked to the guy. They wanted me to pay them $130 bucks for diagnostics to address the one recall which they said was 'taken care of' by another dealership. (It wasn't) Then when I asked about the rear window and how long it would take, they said only a minute. I thought cool. Then he said, "we are going to disconnect the motor". That was it. I asked him if he thought it was fixed for me driving a 35K van around without working windows. His answer, "yes". Do I think this is a Larson problem? No. I think this is a Chrysler problem. From NY, TX, VA, Boise, WA, all bad dealerships. Only good one, Lenoir TN. They went out of their way to replace my breaks that caught on fire. The same breaks Chrysler and their dealerships claim no problems with. Don't buy Chrysler and don't deal with a Chrysler Dealership. read more

The customer service in the service department is terrible. Their phone system is overwhelmed and it is very difficult to get a hold of anyone over the phone. In the years we've had our vehicle services here, they have had a lot of turnover with their service advisors. If we need anything more than a basic oil change, we usually expect for it to take days. On several occasions, we were not notified that our vehicle was ready for pickup, and we had to drive in to check on the status. read more

Working with many dealership service departments I was disappointed with the follow-up to the repairs to my 04 chrysler crossfire. They advised me that they did not know much about my vehicle which was surprising because it is one of their products. They fixed the problem after looking into what was the cause, but said they would charge more to look into something that was connected to the original problem. I also asked that the tire pressure sensors be reset, I was told they will self reset after 50 miles, I explained this had been going on for 5,000 miles and that is why I asked for it to be done before picking up the car. Needless to say, my light is still on an the pressure on all tires is correct, service advisors don't listen to we'll to requests and additional fees to just look at something is ridiculous. read more

Negotiated a deal on factory order truck via text msgs & email. When we went in to place the order they increased the price on us. It was mainly due to their error but they would not own up to it. TOTAL BAIT & SWITCH crap. Glad we we walked away because Tacoma Dodge dealership ended up giving us a better deal AND honored the exact price they quoted me via email. I have bought multiple cars through Larson group however after this terrible experience we will not be going back or referring anyone to Larson group! read more

My husband and I were inexperienced with buying a new car with a trade in and he wanted a Jeep SUV. It all started off nicely with Chris Helm, but after test driving three cars, we asked a few questions about some obscure brake charge, why we were offered 1000 less than Kelly Blue Book for our trade in, why we couldn't get a better financing rate, why we couldn't get a 74-month monthly payment within our budget, the buyer's assistant became visibly irritated and sarcastically asks us "if we want to buy a new car today." After our last attempt to make a deal, he threw our registration on the desk in front of us and sarcastically stated "congratulations". We drove to Olympia Jeep, was taken care of by a super nice salesman and got the new Jeep Compass we wanted, trade in value we wanted, financing rate we wanted, and no obscure "brake charge". $4,000 less than Look Larson was offering in total. read more

My experience with "Larson Volkswagen" has been great for many years and I love my new "Jeep" but the business practices at this dealership, Larson Jeep, are the shadiest I have ever heard of or experienced. Flat out lies and misrepresentation. Customer service is non existent or under the table so it doesn't show on paper. I made my very first vehicle purchase from this dealership. From the sales perspective, I definitely appreciated the individual whom worked with me. She quickly responded to any and all emails regarding my questions and concerns. She was fantastic. However, where my car buying experience fell flat was working with the dishonest individuals from the financial department. While in their office discuss the potential terms and details of the financial agreement, I was specifically told that "oil changes are covered" with the particular maintanence plan I was mislead into purchasing. Fortunately, I had a witness present for this dishonest and completely misleading statement. A few months later, I took my vehicle into the dealership for what I had assumed was a covered service, only to be extremely disappointed upon learning that the maintanence plan I had purchased only covered 'conventional' oil changes, and did not cover 'synthetic' oil changes. At first, I was thinking 'shame on me' for not knowing that the vehicle I was purchasing uses synthetic oil, but the language that was verbally stated to me specifically stated "oil changes are covered." I emailed the financial department individual about this, and never received any emails in response. In fact, at no time did this individual ever respond to any one of my emails - EVER - at any time, under any circumstance. I feel strongly that was unethically coerced into signing an updated financial agreement by being asked to forge the date on that signed document and write in the date I signed the original financial agreement. I was also talked into getting the Crystal Fusion product for my vehicle. After reading about said product later that evening, I realized that I had been manipulated into another unnecessary purchase, which included an additional itemized cost, equal in monetary value, associated with getting the Crystal Fusion process. This additional cost was never thoroughly explained to me. In hindsight, this appeared to only be in the financial interests and financial gains for both the lender and the dealership. I never ended up getting the Crystal Fusion process done to my vehicle. On the same date that I learned that my synthetic oil changes were not covered, I was extremely disappointed to learn that the work order for the Crystal Fusion process never made it administratively from the financial department to the service department, and therefore they had no record of it. Not too much later, I emailed the financial department that I had zero interest in getting the Crystal Fusion process completed, and I requested a refund for this service that will never be provided. I even contacted and emailed the nice individual from the sales department for her assistance with forwarding my genuine financial concerns to the individual from the financial department. Even with her assistance, I received NOTHING in response from the financial department. I sincerely regret providing the service department with my copy of the work order because this would have strengthened my cause for filing a lawsuit. I was told to bring in the original signed financial agreement when returning to the dealership to sign the 'updated' financial agreement. Wisely, I held onto the original document, because I fully intend to seek damages. I cannot reiterate enough in this review that I never received ONE SINGLE EMAIL in response from any member of the financial department, at any time. I feel very strongly that I was treated in an extremely unprofessional and unethical manner by Erik Langford from the financial deparment. I feel strongly that I was manipulated and lied to, which resulted in significant financial benefit for the dealership. I wholeheartedly feel that each and every other customer and/or potential customer should know this information before choosing to step foot into this business. This was an extremely disappointing first-time car buying experience for me, and in no way will I ever show my support for a business that allows this type of behavior to be considered acceptable. read more

Overall, an excellent buying experience! I was helping a friend look for a used 2013 Infiniti G37 Coupe and saw this one listed for sale on Autotrader. I called the Larson Ram dealership and spoke to Lee Meneses, who is a sales person there. Throughout the entire experience, from arriving to the dealership, meeting with Lee, going for the test drive and then "working the numbers", Lee was a total professional and a pleasure to work with. Even though this was a Dodge Ram Dealership, Lee knew the specific details, specifications and features of the Infiniti G37. Over the last 30 years, I've bought over 100 cars and know when you see and have driven a car that has been well taken care of like this G37 that my friend decided to buy and drive home. We first came here to look at the new Jeep Grand Cherokees. Our first salesman didn't listen to what we were looking for and we were delivered a V6 rather than a V8. We were frustrated until another salesman took over. BLAIR PATTERSON is the guy you want to see. He made the bad situation turn into a great buying experience. He listens, he is friendly and he isn't pushy. Since then, we have decided to buy another new vehicle and because of the experience with Blair, we knew he had to buy from him. some good, most bad. worst staff attitudes i've run into. they shipped out my new ram 1500 to full metal jacket for steps and bed liner (great job). but when i came to pick up my vehicle, the snooty young turd in the office that handles that transaction couldn't tell me where the truck was parked.....just that it was "out there". well, after searching for awhile, i didn't see it, and asked her again where my truck was...she was very uninterested in my plight, and when i pressed pretty hard for some help, she just went off my about "disrespect". finally found it in the back of the acerage, behind a fence, hidden among other cars..... if i'm picking up a vehicle that has undergone service, it should be very close to the building and easy to find. you can't get anybody on the phone because the reception desk is always un-staffed and if you leave a voicemail, nobody returns the call. this was on top of devious practice in the business office when they added 400 in options that i never asked for like tint, and a bogus insurance for the brake plus...a 400 boondoggle that you have no choice in getting on your vehicle..... i'll never buy there again. i will avow that the sales staff were great and helpful, but you have to go to the dealership. I don't have the energy to type out everything that is wrong with this place, but I can and will say EVERYTHING the bad reviewers are saying is spot on. We have ranted and raved to what we thought were all the right people and have never received one "I'm sorry" from anyone! Even wrote corporate! They will try and tell you that they have completely overhauled the service area and rid themselves of certain sales people to be more up to par. *cough*cough* Not even close. One time I was on hold forever! I decided to drive there, while still on hold, and I walked in there with employees just doo-dawing around while I held my phone up to them and asked them if they could clearly see the blinking light on their phone. I was "on hold" for over 40 minutes! And to be clear this wasn't our first rodeo with Look Larson. We didn't have a real wonderful experience with our first vehicle purchase here, but we thought we would try again after being told of all of the revamping and being promised this would be wonderful! Unbelievable, can't be trusted! we have one car, took it to them to get the computer re-flashed completely, the car has already had diagnostic work done - it was determined to be the computer. The dealer is the only one who can do this. But talking to the service manager he had other ideals that didn't and couldn't make sense. Why? Too chase that 1,500 charge after all - Russel Wilson doesn't come cheap. What they did is simply unplugged everything and reset the computer so it would run - but the problem is still there and charge 131.00 Cleaver! not really! - Now! lets see them respond to this? maybe give me a call and say come back in - we will do it right..No! just look on this page you will see they only respond to the compliments, wish I had Russel Wilson's money so we could get a new car and support my family! I purchased a brand new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from Larson Jeep last week. I have purchased many cars both new and used, and this has been by far the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership! From the moment I arrived and met my sales person (Elizabeth Powers "Liz"). I was immediately impressed. I have to try out every button in the car (and there are a good amount of buttons on this rig) and Liz was extremely patient with me the whole time, answering questions for me and showing me how everything works. The car test-drove beautifully, it was like riding on a cloud from what I was used to in my Nissan Pathfinder. I originally set-out to lease when I went in, mainly due to the implied savings on the payment. When I explained this to the sales manager that was helping to get my deal done (Robert Kupper) and the finance department, they helped me to get the payment down to what I was hoping for with a purchase. I was over the moon excited, to actually be able to OWN this new Jeep! They had me watch video's of all features that came with my car (nice touch!!) my new Jeep was all clean and ready to go with a full tank of gas, my phone linked to the Bluetooth and plugged in (charging). After the paperwork part of things, I was ready to go home in my new Jeep, and it was nice that Liz had it all ready to go for me...Thanks again guys! I will be back!!! read more

The employees have always been polite and friendly, and I don't feel like they're trying to scam me into buying parts or services my car doesn't need. The price is a little higher than other chain service stations, but they always do a very good job. I haven't had to wait more than an hour for a tune up with or without an appointment. read more

I'm not a person who rates anything very often, and even more rarely do I give out 5-star ratings without my expectations being MAJORLY exceeded. Therefore, since I had to actually open my wallet to purchase a vehicle, I could only give Larson 4 stars. I read a lot of negative remarks about this organization before going in, so my guard was up, but that didn't really seem to be necessary, yesterday. If you want a good buying experience, here are some general tips. Do your homework before you go shopping. Even though you will eventually be on opposite side in a tug-of-war price battle, it's never a bad idea be friendly with the sales staff, but still be willing to walk away if you have to. Know the value of the vehicle you want to PURCHASE, know the value of the vehicle you want to TRADE IN, know when the best time to purchase a vehicle is, don't be afraid of a little honest confrontation and haggling, be realistic and realize that you're going to have to open your wallet to get a vehicle, because they need to make a little profit, and if possible speak to Camron Sandstrom. When we pulled in, Camron was standing at the door, eager to help, but was never pushy. At the time of this writing, he was just on the cusp of being considered new, so he still has that new car salesman smell, but he was knowledgeable, personable, spoke highly of his organization, listened to my concerns, and neither talked down to us nor acted like our best friend. This I truly appreciated; I'm not a fan of non-genuine people. To my wife's displeasure, I just love the back-and-forth of negotiations, and when I'm confident about things I know to be true, I will stand my ground and I'm somewhat difficult to talk around. I did my homework before going in, yesterday, and had my numbers written out, so I was feeling pretty confident. I put Camron and his manager through their paces until we could agree that we were BOTH getting a good deal. They passed with flying colors, only slightly showing that I was wearing them down, once or twice toward the end of negotiations. This, I'm proud and equally ashamed to say, only added to my positive experience. Sorry guys. I'm pretty sure I can speak for my wife when I say that we will continue to do business with Larson as long as they're able to offer a similar customer service experience. They were great, so we'd be foolish not to. read more

My experience with buying a vehicle at Larson Jeep was quite shocking in several ways. During the negotiating process we were upfront about the deal we wanted, that we understood if they couldn't make it but that if not we were going to look elsewhere and not do a long back and forth and waste their time and ours. After not meeting our deal the sales rep, Landy, said she wanted to try one more time. We went ahead and let her. She came back with a deal that she said was what we wanted. She did not get the deal we wanted in fact and the manager or whoever it is that writes the offers had actually tried hiding that fact in the numbers. When we brought this up she grabbed the manager and brought him out and then did a whole show of how she was "sorry she didn't understand that's what we wanted." She did clearly understand exactly what we wanted as we had discussed it thoroughly. While it was disappointing and frustrating to see her feigning her lack of understanding I get it, that's a typical negotiation process. We went ahead and decided to continue the purchase. During the process she continually mentioned how they were not making any money off this sale and how they were basically paying us to take this car. Her entire demeanor became very brusque and unfriendly. She was even hesitant about if we would be getting a full tank of gas with it. When looking over the vehicle we discovered a scuff on the side of the fender. We asked assurance that they would get it removed. Landy said they would try to lighten it. To my shock She produced a paper to sign saying the car was delivered without any scratches etc.m and she seemed irritated when I wouldn't sign it until after seeing the car cleaned up. After they cleaned it the scuff was exactly the same. We asked that they buff it out. Landy stated "there's no money left for that, you took it all" and "it's a scratch and dent." She refused to make any other effort at removing it. She said well we can write on the paper there's a scuff, which she did and to which I added "because they refused to fix." During the paperwork signing with Ron the finance rep they sneakily tried adding back the 399 for brake plus which we had negotiated off. When asked Ron literally said to us that such and such number was just part of it when in reality it was in addition to it. When pointing this error out to Ron, he made a show of reassuring me it wasn't that way and when pressed, finally admitted that yes that number was added. He had literally tried telling me that 900 was less then 500. He then went and talked to someone supposedly and got it removed. My partner and I were absolutely shocked that this is how this dealership does Business. First of all, don't offer a deal if you don't actually want to sell the car. But if you do, try to have some class still with it. Landy'd attitude was frankly appalling. What dealership shows such an utter lack of customer service and is ok with delivering a sub quality vehicle? How are they ok with their employees making these kind of statements and acting that way toward their customers? Their website says "dedicated to delivering superior service." Nothing we experienced was even average service and in fact most of it was terrible. Instead of building a positive relationship and ensuring future business and us spreading positive word of mouth I have no intention of ever doing business with them again and am telling everyone I know not to go there as well. Which is unfortunate as many of our friends come to us for car advice and have made purchases based on our reviews, such as Subarus, who have always treated us with utmost respect.
