Took my 2018 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack in for an oil change and a possible steering noise while turning. Unfortunately my service advisor had to leave for the da]y without my knowledge and my service slipped through the crack and after 2 hours of waiting I was told of the mishap. Another Service Advisor ( Kristine ) took charge and with the knowledge of my assigned mechanic (Jean ) diagnosed the issue with my differential and not my steering. Only good experience was an oil change. Other than that we have taken it there now 4 times I think to fix a rattle in the dash. Every time for both items. Each time the oil change is done right, except the last time. They had the vehicle for 2 weeks. Did the oil change and forgot to replace the sticker. We were promised by the service guy Stephen that he would get to the bottom of the rattle, AND fix our oil change service agreement so they actually see it and stop trying to charge us every time, like the last 4 times we have been there. He said "you have probably heard this before but I'm telling you I will get that taken care of so you don't have to deal with it anymore". I'm not going to tell the entire story as I would write a novel bit this is what I will say. I picked it up, after two weeks as they said it was ready and the rattle was gone. Waited 10 minutes for Stephen to come back to his desk, asked him what the fix was, and got a run around that never gave me a real answer. Then he said we're pretty sure we got it. We haven't been able to hear it for days now. I said OK. Was the oil change done. "Yes". Well also on this trip their printer's were down? He couldn't find my paperwork so he disappeared again and came back and said "the mechanic still has to put in his notes, it will be 10 min". Well 30 minutes later, ok were ready! He walks up to me sitting down and says so just the oil change, like that's what I had to pay for. By the look on my face he then remembered the whole issue with that and apologize and said give me a few minutes. Well finally got out of there. Driving home the rattle is the exact same as when I dropped it off. Got home and noticed the oil sticker was not reolaced. I called them and of course, like always, I have to leave a message. Last time I did that I left one, two days later left another and it took a week to get a call back. I want them to fix this issue. But I will never buy a vehicle from them let alone have them do any repairs, except an oil change. No trust what what they say or promise will actually come true. Heard that with the oil service agreement every time we have taken there, and with the most recent, we'll every time we have taken to them for the rattle. Just ridiculous. You had it for 2 weeks and within 5 minutes driving it away I hear the noise. I am now editing my original review by adding this. The last time I left a review it was responded to by the dealer on here. It said to contact them either by calling or email. I did and got no response until I posted this last review. Just like when I call the service department and leave a message. Guess what, shortly after posting my original review i got darn near the exact same message as I did last time. We began our search online and went into the process a bit undecided on what vehicle my wife really wanted. We found a 2011 Dodge Durango that was available at Larson Motors and so we decided to head down and look at it. From there, the experience was average to below average with anything relating to Larson Motors. We were approached by a manager who seemed more interested in advising why he couldn't take *anything* off the vehicles and wanted to share with my wife why the Durango size was going to be missed. Interesting approach but turned us off completely. We couldn't deal with one single individual while on the lot and instead got handed off to Kimberly who helped us up to the point we decided to test drive. At that point, she had "too much" going on so we got handed off to another salesperson whom's name is forgotten. He takes us on a test drive. Because we were paying cash, we really wanted to talk it over and look at our options and see if we really wanted to invest 35k in a vehicle - so we lost that salesperson and in comes the hero Nick (e.g. manager) to tell us he had no room to negotiate on the vehicle. My wife loved the vehicle but at that point we decided to walk away and figure out what to do next. We returned 5 days later as the wife really wanted this Grand Cherokee (2011 Overland V8) and we showed up unannounced and things seemed to move quickly enough until we were introduced to the "finance" guy which wanted to sale us everything under the son though I shared that we were already writing a 38k check in cash and prefer to not add to the bill. 35 minutes later, we are finally done. Then, I asked one last question... we really need a 2nd key for this vehicle. With this question, you would have thought I asked for upgrade from V8 to V10, 200 more horsepower, and a lift kit. The "circle the wagons" routine began. It was a used vehicle and they only have what is turned into them. The keys (keyfob'ds) are available online and if you get one we will happily program it...for $60.00. The keyfob would cost Larson about $300 bucks tops with a bit of that in pure labor. We still don't have that keyfob and they have our $38k. This experience led me to the point I wanted to walk away but my wife loved the vehicle, and honestly, so do I. If it wasn't for the pure love of the exact vehicle we purchased I'd proudly take my services elsewhere. To all the Larson "employees", you had no interest in helping us make the right decision and instead just wanted to get the money. It was a overall below average experience. They weren't "crooked" but I have no desire to be a repeat customer. Ironically, they email me saying "Please be assured that this is not the end of our responsibility. At our Automotive Group, we hope to continue our relationship after your purchase..." which is funny because I prefer to not deal with them again. Sorry, you've lost this customer and we will avoid shopping at Larson going forward. read more

Went to this lot looking to buy, brought my boyfriend along to help with the process. The man who helped us asked our budget, I told him what we were looking to spend and asked to see a select car on the lot, he ran to get the keys and addressed his questions only to my boyfriend. "So Mitchell you said your budget was..." It rubbed me completely wrong along with his lack of knowledge regarding the vehicles we were looking at. The only effort he was putting forth was to get us into the office to run my credit, not trying to find a car that would fit my needs. Needless to say I felt uncomfortable and quite frankly insulted as I was the one buying the car but he didn't even acknowledge me. As we were leaving he said good bye, ONLY to my boyfriend. So glad we got out of there, it seemed totally sleezy and like it was a "boys club" Side note, I did end up buying a car later that day at a lot where I PERSONALLY received great customer service. read more

The only reason they got 2 stars is their selection of brand new '14 Grand Cherokee's. I have been waiting for these to come out for months and went in hoping to get a deal started to trade my old one in for the new one. They even had the exact color and trim i was looking for. Sounds great right? Problem: I walked around, sat in 5 different GC's for 40 minutes not a single person asked if i needed help. One salesman walked by after the 40 minutes and when I tried to speak with him he told me he was busy with another customer, someone would be right with me. I waited for 2 more minutes and left. I'm writing this review based on my online communication with one of the sale associate, Mac. I saw a listing on Marketplace and Larson Dodge website. I filled out my contact information and was contacted by Mac to set up an appointment to see the vehicle. During this crazy pandemic, I prefer to reach a deal first before I go in the dealership. Plus, it's over an hour drive each way for me to Puyallup. He insisted I should make appointment to go in. I asked him a very simple question. Is the listing price negotiable or not? (Seriously, no hard feeling. He can responds yes/no). Mac did not answer my question but responded "Like I said our price is very aggressive." Then, the next day I received a follow up email from him that he hoped he did not drop the ball. Well, he did when he did not answer my simple question. I decided to give him an offer anyway. He, then, countered to my offer that is $300 higher than the listed price I saw on Marketplace and the website. I'm not sure if this is the sale person's tactic or the whole dealership. It seems like they do not want to answer any questions via email or on the phone. They just want us to make an appointment and go in. I am not going to the dealer that won't give me straight answer. If the price is non-negotiable, please say so. Don't be so vague about it. From this experience, I do not think I will go in and purchase any vehicle from this dealership. read more

This dealership is the worst and I highly regret buying a Jeep here. They lied to get a sale so they could pocket more money. They are slow and rarely get back to you in a timely manner, if they even do. Financing department lady laid down 4 to 5 options of payment plans that were 200-300 dollars more than the original options we were told. The lady was pushy and acted as if these were our only options. My fiancé and I believed it and ended up buying a warranty on top of another warranty! When confronted she stated, "you already signed." We also have been waiting for a lift and tires to be put on that we are paying for, and they have not yet been put on the Jeep. It has been 4 weeks since the purchase of this vehicle. We were told within days the lift and tires would be on the Jeep. Save yourselves from this dealership and go elsewhere. read more

3 years ago I purchased a car from this dealer along with the extended warranty. Within a year I began experiencing transmission issues. The car was in the service department on a minimum of 4 occasions for the same transmission issue. Each time I got it back I was told that it was fixed. Approximately a month ago I called and requested a Manager to discuss with me how we could arrange to get me out of a vehicle that clearly had repeated issues and that I had lost total confidence in, and into a more reliable vehicle. I heard nothing back even though I was told by this "Manager" I spoke with that they would be getting back to me within a couple hours. On July 18th I spoke with someone from thier "Customer Care" department and was told that the Manager would be calling me to discuss how we could make this right. Well it's the 29th of July and I have heard absolutely nothing, which I suspected all along. The salesman was gruff and pushy, I wasn't allowed to test drive the car I wanted because it had "rained" and it wasn't ready to drive like I was told, which is why I went back. Stay away. Very take it or leave it, pushy and not customer oriented. Adversarial. I went here 2 years ago when I was car shopping and had a crappy experience that as well. They changed the price on the car that I wanted and there wasn't any negotiation really at all. They came up with some hokey explanation as to why it cost more than it was advertised, and I felt really jerked around. I will never buy another car from this dealership again, in 2019 my husband and i bought 2018 jeep wrangler, sales man convinced my husband to buy a worthless warranty convincing him that anything that could go wrong will be covered , he needs this in case there is a computer issue, as he checks the box that only covers mechanical issues, and because the dealership put a lift on the jeep half the warranty was void, fast forward had issues with tranny supposed to be covered by warranty they're supposed to order the part call me, never heard from them transmission still has issue, motor started puking oil had to bring jeep back into service , warranty will only somehow cover half the cost to fix issue they want me to pay $866 to fix the motor, and if I wanted that issue with my transmission fixed that they never fixed I was going to have to pay to have it re-diagnosed, and cross my fingers that the warranty that agreed to cover issue before will still cover it, I feel ripped off to have to pay twice for the same problem they never fixed to begin with. currently my Jeep has been in their shop for over three months when it was supposed to only be there for few days, service department can't tell me when this part will come, jeep doesn't care that this is an issue, and they still expect me to pay $866 for this service. So far so good. The good: It was a pleasure working with Gary Olguin in internet sales. He is a very fantastic guy and I felt like I got to know him. He's the type of person I'd be friends with. Very nice, into some great music, and he is even Native American like my family and I am. I felt very comfortable with him from the start. They worked hard to get a nice deal on a car for us. Why I picked financing vs. paying cash as I usually do: I am trying to build my partner's credit so we can finance a mobile restaurant business in the semi-distant future plus we want to buy a home. His scores range on the credit bureaus from 580-600. We needed a new car with a backseat that was reliable. We have a Transam but it isn't big enough for our new addition due in December. We got a good deal on the car so good it was priced below other dealerships. I didn't feel the need to haggle the price with them because we were treated very well, the car was priced $3000 below other cars at Titus-Will and Korum and they got back to us right away. Why I am nervous and I'll update on this after we have the car for a bit: I just hope the finance deal lasts it felt almost too good to be true to get him approved at any rate below 20% APR. I can't wait to pay off the car this next year in full and hold the title to it so I feel like it is ours and have it build up his score for a bit. I sold my car to upgrade and put half of the sale into this new car. I am nervous only because I distrust banks but I hope all the finance stuff goes right! I am usually a cash buyer so I am not used to finance. They made the process very comfortable and I know buying a car sometimes is stressful. We went in and walked out with a car. Go to Gary for a new car if you need a new car! I did feel pressured a bit into the warranty but thinking it over 3 years at $300 for AAA vs $2100 extra for warranty, roadside, and the body/interior protector they install (have a toddler and expecting a newborn so it makes sense) I felt more comfortable. Bought my 2500 Dodge ram new in 09 and added an expensive "lifetime" bumper to bumper warranty. They voided the power train portion due to a technicality 3 years ago. Went in for 'covered' work and a power train issue and was charged for things I did not need to be diagnosed. 1 of a few items: (told them defroster didn't work and needed the gate fixed...they said it wasn't covered under my warranty...I said "don't do anything then" charged me for half an hour of diagnostic work anyway stating "defroster doesn't work". Argued with me about that and the other 4 items mis charged. Paid the whole thing and left vs. groveling with peons serving their millionaire overlords. Very poor POST purchase customer service. I have already had serious issues with a 2021 Jeep Gladiator High Altitude I purchased from them last month. The transmission is having shift problems ("Shift to Park and Back into Drive" error). Then I discovered one of the wires going to my rear defroster snapped at the soder point (where wire attaches to glass). Both of these issues are well documented on various Jeep forums as being encountered by other NEW Jeep owners. My Gladiator has 1600 miles on it and the problems were encountered around 1200 miles. Why am I still riving it? Wen I called in weeks ago, Larson Jeep said they couldn't get me in until 11/23. For a transmission that is failing to shift? Then there's the issue of my plates. I have been calling, texting, and emailing about my plates and no one seems to know where they are? I bought another new vehicle about two weeks AFTER this Jeep and those plates came in a week ago. Now my plates are about to expire so I started calling the dealership. The reason I say started is because it took me 5 calls before I could beg someone to walk over to the receptionist area to physically look for my plates. Never mind the numerous unreturned voicemails I left, which is why I started to repeatedly call them. I had to place back to back calls to the sales department (the only people that answer their phones), because they kept sending me back to the receptionists voicemail. I was able to finally beg someone to go look for my plates and low and behold...they were there. From the apology I received, apparently for quite some time. Needless to say, I will be taking my vehicle for service elsewhere. I wish I could rate this dealerships customer service a ZERO. read more

BUYERS BEWARE! The initial experience was grand. We came into the dealership with our own financing through our bank. They told us that because it was outside financing and at night, we needed to have their financing as a back up to take the car home. So, we said, okay, we guess that makes sense. We took the car home. A few days later our bank calls and said they never received all the information on the vehicle. One if the pieces of information was the VIN number. Called Larson Dodge back. They went ahead and processed the loan through their department. The lady said that it was a huge difference in the interest rate. Our banks was 1.99% and theirs was 3.49% my husband said we didn't want to finance through you. They had no apology. They said we can always refinance later. Which tells us, they wanted to pad their numbers. Then two days later, we opened our drivers side door and the carpet is separated from underneath the panel. Not torn. Just separated. We call Larson Dodge. They don't warranty used cars. We're paying just over $15,000 for a car with less than 50,000 miles on it and they won't warranty. Flash forward a few weeks, we received our first bill. We are trying to refinance with our bank. In order to do this we need to remove the Gap Insurance. We told her no to gap insurance in the office when she said they needed a back up plan. We remember this clearly because we knew our financing was solid. Now we have it?? So we call and call and call... finally someone calls back. "Come on down and sign the paperwork and we'll have it removed for you." They said. Went down and filled it out. The lady said it would take a bill cycle to take in affect. Three payments later, 42 logged phone calls, with them just sending us to voicemail, we get a call back. They lady says "I'm going to personally see what is going on. I will call you in 1 hour." It's been two days...no call back. So, if you do proceed here. Inspect your vehicle, top to bottom. Remember that new car excitement can block your judgement and they know it. Stick to you financing and make sure what's still happen ing to us, doesn't happen to you. This is the worst dealership I ever delt with, they will rip you off for your money and then leave you for dead... I found this out after I bought my second car here after some guy hit and ran my car first car (completely totaling it). Then the true colors of this place finally came out and honestly this has been the biggest mistake I ever made in my whole life buying twice from here. Having to deal with gap insurance for my first car, shouldn't the dealership do it's job and not ask its clients to do it for them? Isn't that how it works. They absolutely put me absolute though hell and back to get my gap coverage claimed for my first car when It should of taken a week or two at the most but no it took nearly 4 months to get the dang settlement done from there own insurance providers!!! While coming up with every excuse from the rule book of excuses. I paid two car payments when I only had one car for nearly four months. All for something I didn't even do and which I was 100% covered for in the first place! Honestly, if you don't won't to get screwed over then don't waste your time here! I purchased a 2015 Jeep Renegade from Larson in Puyallup last month. The salesman, Tara that we worked with was very patient helpful. We visited the dealership multiple times and did several different test drives. The finance person that I worked with was very pushy with selling the clearcoat, warrenty, GAP etc... I understand that this is his job, however he could have closed have been more personable. He would not let me get a word in and talked over me several times. There was an issue with the speaker that I did not realize until I got the vehicle home. They were able to schedule me a service appointment and provided me a rental vehicle while they were waiting to get the part for the speaker in. My only complaint, if any, was that the tech who called me said it would take 2.5 hours to complete when in fact it was barely done 5 hours later, due to scheduling conflict with amount of repair technicians on site. Let me tell you about my experience with this dealership. The purchase process couldn't have gone more smoothly when I bought my slightly used 2018 BMW convertible, at that time I also bought a extended service contract and paint protection package (to be applied later). The day came to have my paint protection applied to the car. I show up at the dealership, Annita (their representative) and I walk around the car noting every rock chip and potential hairline scratch...we both sign off on any and all pre-existing damage. I was upsold on window tinting at this time. I left the car in their care. That evening I go in to pick up my car. Annita walks me to it from the rear, she notes how shiny the paint looks and then only focuses on talking about the tint and how the bubbles will disappear in a few days. I drive home. As I pulled into the bright lights of my garage (20 minutes after leaving the dealership) it became very apparent that my car had been damaged. The 'protective coating' had run in certain areas on the front bumper and the passenger door jam (my car is black so with a thick high gloss run it looks like multiple paint runs), the worse part is there was an area of paint (2 inch squared) on the front bumper where the paint is now flaking off! I immediately called the dealership but Annita (only one who handles the coating) had already gone home. So I drove in the next morning and was there waiting when they opened. Annita's initial response was 'we couldn't have done this'. So I had her check her damage sheet, the response quickly changed to 'I'll see what I can do and get back to you.' I finally was able to get an appointment and was met with attitude and a response of they weren't responsible. I kept showing the facts, 1. I trusted you with my car 2. I paid $1300 for that trust and paint protection 3. You noted all damage and none of this was here 4. The car is returned in much worse shape than when I dropped it off 5. You had sole control, care and responsibility for the car during that time Perry a manager emerges stating the same 'we can't be responsible'. Here is your damage sheet showing you are. He then agrees to 'make it right' but needs to go talk to the GM about a solution (it's 9:20a). Five minutes later he comes back to be 'he is on the phone but this is a top priority.' At 9:45 I decide to go find the GM myself and run into Perry outside his office (GM isn't still on the phone). Perry informs me that the dealership is willing to 'make it right' by taking your 2018 BMW to SAMEDAY Painting because the entire front bumper needs to be repainted.....excuse me? I look up this sham of a shop...only a few reviews and all are extremely negative. My response is 'no you aren't taking my car to a Macco type shop where I'm going to end up having paint issues in a few months because of shoddy workmanship.' We go back and forth a few times, I get called a 'smart alec' for demanding a good shop. They finally realize I'm not going away or getting any quieter, they agree to a collision shop with a 4.5 rating. 10a Annita tells me The day has come when my car should be completed. I call Annita to check in on it and she says 'I just called them, they said about an hr...oh that was an hr ago. I'll call them again now.' I get off the phone with some restored confidence in her. I wait an hr and then call the dealership, I don't get through to Annita. Now I call the collision place myself and here is what I'm told 'your car is done, we are just waiting on the dealership to respond and pick it up, we haven't heard from them today.' I ended up getting my car that night and the paint looks...ok. Crystal was the representative and she was full of attitude, acting as though the dealership just did me a big favor (keep in mind my door jam still has a big run down the edge...because the only fix was to have a side section of my car re-sprayed and I chose to not further damage my cars value and history). You can tell the front bumper has been re-sprayed and now my car doesn't have a clean vehicle history. All of this headache happened because I chose to give my money and trust to those who don't deserve it. I should have purchased from a more reputable dealership, I wish I had never bought the stupid paint protection. Long story short, these folks are great at selling cars, but they're horrible people without any moral implications or sense of right and wrong. They don't care about you or how their actions might impact others. This is shown in their workmanship, attitudes, responsiveness, care for you, your property or your time, and most importantly their words.... Update 12/19 I go to trade this vehicle in and was told 'we don't want it, there is an accident & odometer fraud on its history' by two different dealerships. Larsen entered the re-spraying of my bumper as a front end collision & entered the mileage incorrectly as a odometer rollback TWICE! Never again. read more

I bought by Jeep from them a little over a year ago. I've wanted a Wrangler ever since I was 9 years old, so buying one that day was like a dream come true! Sean McNalley was really great to work with and offered no pressure when it came to purchasing something within my budget. I was actually really surprised how low-pressure and chill he was. He even programmed my phone to the U-Connect before I left. Walking into a dealership you feel like you already have to have your guard up, but Sean made it really simple and stress free. The finance guy was also really helpful, offered me some extended warranties, told me what's included, how much it would increase my monthly payment, and most importantly, offered no pressure when it came to add one or not. The decision was totally up to me. After the sale they did take a while to get my lowjack and side steps scheduled because they didn't call like they said they would, but I just gave them a call after a few weeks and they scheduled something right away, no big deal and nothing to get butt hurt about. I think for sales it depends on who you get. Once I went in for an oil change and was just looking at one of the trucks in the showroom and after that this sales guy would not stop calling me. I initially asked him some towing questions for my Wrangler because I was thinking of towing something on it, he had to look up my info, which is how he got my number. I'd get a call at least once a month from him even though I told him I wasn't interested in buying a truck. I finally told him to please stop calling me because every time he calls it's the same answer - NO. I know he's just doing his job so I'm not going to ding them for that, but it was pretty annoying. If you get your oil changed here on the weekends it will take a few hours because it's first come first serve, no appointments. When I called the guy said get here by 7am on Saturday or after 1pm and was honest about the wait time. They do have a nice waiting area, TV, wifi, coffee, popcorn, magazines, etc. He was honest about it, and it is what it is, so I'll knock off one star for the inconvenience of getting an oil change. If you're looking to buy from them just don't add the oil change service to your warranty and go pay somewhere else for a shorter wait. I get my tires rotated when I get oil changed and they vacuum the inside, which I appreciate because I have a dog who sheds a lot. All in all, I think it's a pretty good place to get a vehicle. Ask to work with Sean McNally, he's strait to the point, low pressure and no BS. I just wish they had extended hours for an oil change for people who work during the week and were open on Sunday. read more

I called to inquire about a car. I saw that it was showing two different locations of the car depending on if I looked at the Larson website or Auto Trader. I spoke to a salesman "Tom" on the phone. He said the car was at one of the locations. I confirmed again what dealer it was at. He told me to come on down. I arrive and surprise surprise...the car is at a different location. Keep in mind this was a used car and not a brand they sell...so there was no point in just getting me in the door to hook me on a different vehicle. "Tom" was busy with another customer...so they sent poor AJ out to meet me. I lost my shit in the showroom when he told me the car was not there. AJ went and got the car and brought it back to the dealer I was told to come to. Drove the car and decided to see if we could make something happen. The car I was looking to trade in is not common and I knew the value would be an issue...but wow. My car has 1200 miles on it...and they low-balled me so bad even AJ was embarrassed. Hell, I was embarrassed for him to have to present that to me. We decided that it was late in the evening and that they would have to come back to me the next day and see what we could make happen. Truth be told I knew I would have to take a hit on my trade and understood they would have to call around and see if they could get some buy offers from other dealers that would support something closer to my desired trade in value. AJ said he would call me the next day but it would be in the afternoon as they were typically pretty busy in the mornings. Well...that call never came. Luckily, after sleeping on it, I decided I didn't want to buy the car anyway. This is actually the second Larson dealer that has pissed me off. I bought a car from Larson VW a few years back and they tried to pull a fast one on me with finance while keeping the payment the same thinking I wouldn't notice. The manager of that store told me I set the record for F-Bombs in a minute. I'm done with Larson dealerships...you get the feeling you are dealing with guys that used to work at one of those "buy here pay here" lots on Pac Hwy...you feel like you need a shower afterwards... Never did get to meet "Tom"...but I assume he was the guy that came and got his jacket at the desk we were using...wouldn't make eye contact or even say hello.
