I bought a new charger(Black) at Larson and selected the Xzilon coating. It was not done to our satisfaction. But before I could ask about it they changed the whole servicing group. I bought kick plates for the inside and they installed them wrong. It took the parts guy to get it right. I have brought coupons for oil changes and they acted like I printed them myself. I was charged roughly 7000 for the added contracts on my vehicle. I called the dealership to cancel them and as soon as they found out why I was calling all phone calls and messages were ignored. I was put on hold and left there. I contacted the warranty company direct and cancelled through them and they forwarded it to the dealership so the refund could be given in total with tax. That was over a month ago. I called again today... still no return phone call or response. Please beware of them and double check the contracts. My next step will be the better business bureau.?if i could give them no stars I would choose that. read more

My car buying experience was fantastic! My salesmen were Bryan and Joe. They were both patient and courteous with me even though I was very picky. Over a couple of weeks they saw me there a handful of times until I found just the right car. Most of the staff was VERY helpful and willing to spend the time to answer my questions. When it came to financing I had specific peramaters than needed to be met and the finance team bent over backwards to make it happen. We worked with Paul Straling in purchasing a RAM 1500. Everything went well until we got to the finance office. We agreed on paper with Paul that I would get 10k for my trade in. When I'm in the finance office I took notice of the fact that they only gave me 9200 for the trade. Obviously I questioned that and Paul came in to explain in a round about way that I am stuck with the tax of the trade in. Why would any credible business foot me the tax bill on something that they are purchasing??? But that's not the end of it, we signed a paper with Paul agreeing to 8500 rebate on the vehicle. In the finance office they took 4250 off of the rebate. So please be careful of this place. These guys are shady, so look over everything carefully when signing for your vehicle purchase. read more

Larson Dodge listened to my concerns made me an appointment and gave me a loaner vehicle. They did the power-train repair. They also took the time to figure out what was causing the vibration that I had in my car for over 6 months. Another Jeep dealer in Kitsap county could not figure out what the issues was where Larson figured it out in a matter of hours not months. I will continue to come to Larson. Ugh! I should've looked here before signing the purchase papers. Somehow I was hoping that I would have a better experience and the company was trying to turn things around, but alas, that is not true whatsoever. We are a military family that just moved into the area and our car broke down on the interstate 2 weeks after the move. After finding a potential replacement vehicle on Carmax app, we saw that it was offered through Larson and went to the dealership already preapproved with our financing. A slam-dunk sale, right? The sales experience was great, except the car started smelling like cigarette smoke and we were told to bring it in to get the cigarette smoke taken out because it was late at night and everyone wanted to go home. Well, next thing you know, three days later-the car will not start at all. This is a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude and my husband tries to jump it with his RAM, still nothing. I'm told by Larson to just get it towed to their service department. They told me that they would probably not be able to give me a loaner while they have it, but they will look into it and maybe make an exception (does not work for me). The tow guy said that he would be able to jump the car and we should just get a battery at O'Reillys, because we would pay through the nose at the dealership. So we did that! Next, the car starts driving really strangely jumping gears and just feeling out of control. So I brought in the jeep for a thorough check up on DAY 6 and also asked for reimbursement on the new battery. The sales department is absolutely incompetent and refuses to help. They just wash their hands off any issues with the customer the second you drive off the lot. It's all about sales numbers, blaming me for leaving the lights on or the door open (even though I didn't) or deflecting on other things rather than trying to make things right. I spent almost a whole day all together on the phone with about eight different people from this company just to get a response on my vehicle. As of now, I have left several messages for management to call me back with regards to reimbursement of the $200 of the battery. Still waiting! My next step is truly the Better Business Bureau or "Get Jesse". I was told that since the 72 hours of test drive of the vehicle are up, the problems are basically mine, although I have manufacturer's warranty on this vehicle, still. I will never do business with them again and I will make sure that all my people on social media know how I feel about this company. They have one job and they really suck at it: it is to take care of people and making sure that the customers are treated with honestly and respect. Why is it so difficult? Even theiresponse to the one star reviews here are ridiculous. They are disgruntled??? Give me a break! And for the record, everyone is trying to call the number that you're posting here but no one is answering your phones, ‍. UPDATE 3 weeks later: after numerous phone calls and voicemails, one of the managers (Lewey) called us back and spent one hour on the phone with us, making effort to rectify the mess. I asked for a refund on the battery and he promised we would get a check. The check arrived a few days ago. So I'm updating the one star to two with the rationale that it should not be such a nightmare for a brand new customer to be treated like one. read more

Very disappointed in my first car buying experience. I bought my car back in December of 2016. First, the salesman knew very little about the car I was looking at buying. He basically was just a passenger on the test drive. When making his "sales pitch" he made sure I knew I could get free car washes for life. I showed up a month later to get my plates put on, a figured I'd take it through the car wash while I was there. The service member that put on my license plate said, " we don't recommend cars of this size to go through the wash due to getting damaged. Our car wash is meant more for Jeeps and Trucks." 2. I purchased a Toyota Corolla s and didn't realize until I got home (it was dark), my vehicle has basic Corolla stock hubcaps instead of rims. 3. And most disappointing. When finalizing the deal they added in a $3,000 (on a $13,000 car) 10k mile extended warranty. I asked the finance manager to please remove it, I don't want it. He told me to "get to know" my vehicle. And that if I cancelled within 30 days, I would get a full refund. I reluctantly agreed as I had been there for 2 and half hours already. I bought my car on Saturday, on Monday morning I went into my credit union to sign the CUDL paperwork, and they hadn't received it yet so I asked the credit union to get the warranty off before papers went through and Larson told the bank the papers were already gone. They faxed over the warranty refund paperwork and I signed that day. That was 10 months ago!!! And I have yet to see any refund to my loan. I'm currently paying interest on a warranty I didn't want and couldn't use! I contacted the finance manager with multiple emails, and even stopped in in person and he said there was nothing he could do at the store but he would have corporate take care of it...still haven't heard a word. My suggestion would be definitely pay a little more at another dealership that's gonna give you honest service, not try and gouge the customer for their incentive bonus. The "extra" savings isn't savings at all. *update It has now been 3 months from this review. I have called, emailed, and have yet to talk to anyone. I call in and he receptionist says "the manger is out", or " my customer service rep is at lunch". I leave my email and phone number and not one time has someone gotten back to me. BUYER BEWARE!! One they got our money, they left us hanging! Calls go unanswered- even to the General Manager!! We bought and paid for a brand new Jeep and also the accessory of the rear deck cover. The Jeep is great! The cover was supposed to take 1-2 days to get from the warehouse and then be overnighted to us per our contract (in writing). Five days go by and no cover and no contact from the dealership regarding the status. I left messages on the salesperson's cell phone (unanswered). Called and talked to the finance department and was told they hadn't ordered it yet and I need to talk with the sales person. After a few more voicemails are left (unanswered) I contact the General Manager.. left him a voicemail. He called me back when I was on a flight and couldn't take the call. Now, more than two full weeks late and several voicemails to the General Manager (unanswered) I caution anyone doing business with them. Once they have your money they will not hold up their part of the written contract. They will not return calls. Buyer beware! I would drive the two and a half hours one way back up there but that would significantly add to the price already paid for the top and there is no guarantee they would have if in stock!! Purchased my Jeep here in March with good service. Can't say great because paperwork was lost and had to be redone. Took 3 attempts to get my plates for the new vehicle. Now I have developed a great report with my Service Advisor Will R as it's been in for multiple issues. Will has been responsive and communication has been clear on the issues. I bought a used truck and 1 day after the exchange date of 5 days the starter went out, the AC compressor went bad and it needs a new belt tensioner. I have emails from the sales person starting they put their vehicles through a rigorous testing and inspection before sales but that's false. Once I started to complain they all stopped replying to me, my complaint to the better business bureau went unanswered because they do not care and only want the sale. The entire sale was shady and I should of know. When I was negotiating the 1st day I spent 2 hours and then they said oh sorry the truck isn't even here someone took it for an inspection and wants to buy it, should of known. They really ripped me off. Sales person said you're really covered your part of the Larson family, yeah ok. My extended warranty was purchased outside the loan so it doesn't kick in until 30 days after and this is not existing issues that are not covered. You guys really got me. read more

As a longtime Larson Autogroup customer...this Larson Dodge Ram of Puyallup is the absolute WORST! 20 minutes walking the lot..no one greets you...Evidently no one wants to sell cars at this dealership. Afte going inside - I get a salesperson named Keith. First Question he asks....Are you buying today or not? From the start I already new that this was not going to be a good experience. Keith is well versed in the sales pitch and B.S. attitude. Basically, let's look at everything else but what I am asking for..very poor salesman. He had the audacity to tell me he is not going to walk back and forth to the sales manager Tony and give him my offer. It seems as though every deal they bring to you is the supposed "Best and Final Offer." 10k difference from KBB trade..bad trade offers...takes way too much time to haggle and come to an agreement (3 days of haggling.) The sales manager had the nerve to tell me that my trade needed new tires, when the truck already had new tires and only 5k on them - receipt in hand!...he didn't even go outside and look at the truck until I got up to walk out! That set the presidence for the whole tibacle at this dealership. Many times I wanted to walk away!! Maybe I should have!! However, this dealership is all about the bottom line over customer service with Larson Dodge Ram Puyallup! This dealership has perfected their Bait N Switch (let's blame the advertisement company)..originally went in with a stock number from their online website with the deals and offered with that specific truck vin number and stock number, just to have Keith and Tony say its the advertisement companies fault, and that they do not honor their online pricing. What's the point of the website? Seriously?? But Keith the salesman wants to show you every other vehicle with no options for even more money. Such a waste of time! Be careful with this dealership as they will negotiate a price with an asterisk that you must Finance through them only. They offer the final price just to up the interest rate to make more money on you on the back end. You are way better off being pre-approved with your own bank or credit union. BUT...this dealer does NOT let it be an option for you to bring your own financing to table. After three days of haggling for a reasonable trade value, and reasonable price of the truck, finance now has their turn at price gouging. Michelle in finance..extremely unprofessional and just a mean lady, will straight up look you in the eyes and lie to you...she will tell you that unless your paying with cash in full for the vehicle you must Finance through her..and in a few years refinance elsewhere for a lower payment. This is completely not true! But trying to get a Purchase and Sales Agreement through this dealership is near impossible! Normally you would get a sales agreement and take to your bank and close the loan and bring a cashier's check back to dealer to finalize the deal...not with this dealer. Keith the salesman continuously voices his disgust and makes empty promises, Tony the sales manager will lie to you continuously and tell you every lie under the sun..and Michelle in Finance will scold you, roll her eyes at you, and straight lie to you...worst of it..she holds your trade car registration hostage if you choose to just walk away from the deal because you don't want to finance with her. She will not give it back! It literally took the General Manager Lewey to go into her office and retrieve my original car registration. This place was a circus!! Unprofessional and uncaring people at this dealership. Never heard anything back from the salesman for two weeks until the GM Lewey calls me to find out why I never purchased. After explaining the poor car buying experience at his dealership, he at least made it right! Up the trade, and got me a Purchase Sales Agreement to take to the bank. Recently purchased a new Ram truck from this dealership. Be very cautious when getting a quote for your trade-in. They may tell you the sales manager has approved a net trade-in value that sounds really great. But the key word is "net trade-in value". They mislead you by including the reduction in sales tax you pay pay after the trade as being part of their generous trade-in offer. The actual value they give you will be much less than you thought and for an expensive vehicle could be well over a thousand dollars. They get by with this since most folks, including me, didn't recognize "net" meant they were adding the tax savings to the actual lower trade value they are going to give you. With this deceptive trick you technically get the net value for your trade but this dealership needs to be clear that sales tax savings is not part of what they actually will give you for a trade-in. They count on you not recognizing that. You get a sales tax savings from any dealer when you have a trade-in because it's the city and state sales tax code. They are wrong to imply it's part of their offer because it's the law, they have no choice. I have bought several new cars for other Larson dealerships and what I got for my trade-in was made clear from the beginning, no misleading tricks. I did buy the new one anyway after seeing the actual trade-in for my old truck. What they gave me for my trade was about in-line with other dealers, but not great. After some back and forth they did give a $200 military discount but most other dealers I had visited were offering $500. If they didn't happen to have exactly the truck I was looking for I would have gone somewhere else. Their objective is to extract as much of your money as possible by misleading you. I do not trust this dealership to be honest. Be very careful with this dealership because if you go there expecting to be with someone you can trust, bring your dog. read more

I went in June 2017 to cancel an extended warranty plan I initially purchased when I bought my vehicle in Nov 2016. I was assured by Katie that my warranty cancellation form would be forwarded to the warranty company and cancelled within 4-8 weeks. Fast forward to 8/17/17, I contacted the warranty company to verify my extended warranty was cancelled since I haven't received the check yet. They informed me that it was never cancelled! Let me start by saying that I had no problem with my service. The staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. Took a little longer than expected, but it was a Saturday and I came in for an oil change. My issue was with the waiting room and the free WiFi. While I sat there, I decided to browse a website that sells guns, gun parts, and gun accessories. But when I typed in the web address, a message came up telling me that "this is a blocked site and not allowed by the network". The reason it gave was because it sold "weapons". Give me a break! Do we now live in a country that even the word gun or pictures of guns is not allowed? Please consider changing this policy. I have a legal gun and a permit to carry it. And I may or may not have had that gun on me the whole time I sat in the waiting room. Guns are a tool for protection and defense and should be treated like other tools. You don't block Home Depot's website and there are lots of things there that could be used as a "weapon". I give 3 stars for the service and negative 50 stars for it's lack of American Patriotism and treatment of the 1st and 2nd amendment. read more

Will NEVER buy another car from here. Was told During the test drive that my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee had apple car play, it does not, it is the year up from mine that does. When I called to mention it I was told by the general manager that the salesmen believes he said it was Apple compatible! My husband and I are both 100% certain we were told apple car play as I flat out asked if it had apple car play and was told yes. Then when they popped the hood before the test drive the coolant wasn't full so when we were doing the paperwork I asked if the oil and fluids were being changed and topped up and was told by our salesmen's that yes that is all being taken care of, nothing was taken car. I have reached out to general manager numerous times via email to receive a call, that I missed and was old to email him back, so I did twice, still haven't heard back from him. I went into the dealership about my issues and was told there was nothing they could do, I then find out THEY sold me a maintenance plan that is for normal oil changes and is not good for my vehicle and is requires full synthetic oil and was told my only option is to cancel it and be PRORATED! the difference back to my loan. Are you serious? One they don't even honor what they sold me! But then only want to prorate it?! I am beyond furious. I am not left to only cancel my maintenance plan and pay full price for full synthetic oil changes. I am not happy at all with the customer service I have received and feel completely taken advantage of when I just purchased a vehicle for $35k. Do not recommend! read more

A service light came on and we can't even get someone to make an appointment to get it looked at. 1/29/2017 Classic bait & switch, twice in two days. They advertised a 2017 wrangler w/ extras for 37,000 and when I called to make a play on it they tried to raise the price by $20k. The next day is was advertised for $47k. They refused to honor the internet price saying that it was a misprint by their servicer. We went there to make a deal on another jeep but the one we wanted wasn't in stock. They said they could make a good deal on a jeep if it was in stock so we made an offer on one that was in the lot. We negotiated the price for $32,500 and they finally agreed to the price. We waited for at least an hour while they were supposedly detailing the jeep we chose. In the mean time I was looking at purchasing a Hellcat they had in stock when I noticed that the jeep that we had negotiated was still parked in the parking lot and not being detailed as they claimed. Turned out that they had attempted to "switch" vehicles on us with fewer options for the same price and as it turned out that very car was out on a test drive with another client for 3 hours, the whole time we were there and never returned while we were there. The salesman, Justin, even made a comment that what they did was illegal and against their own policy. I demanded that they honor the agreement that we made but they refused. I have bought two other vehicles in the past from this dealership but obviously that was when they were reputable. Larsons Jeep in Puyallup obviously has joined the ranks of "dishonest trade practices". Buyer beware! If you decide after reading this to do business with this group of dishonest people be sure and watch every detail down to the bone because they will do everything to squeeze every advantage over you, right down to the last signature. read more

Now it is time to finish my service story at Look Larson Dodge of Puyallup. After they kept my 1994 Jeep Wrangler for a month and a half between May and June 2016, charged me $1,200, and failed to fix the air-conditioning on my Jeep, I was finally able to speak to their new Service Manager, Mr. Jeff Mankins over the phone after the 4th of July weekend. I brought the Jeep back by his request on Saturday, 9 July 2016. He checked out the air-conditioning unit right away, did some rearranging of the parts assembly, and said the unit needed a new thermistor to regulate the cold air so to keep the unit from freezing up minutes after turning it on. It took some research by the service department, several more weeks of holding onto the Jeep, and some trial and error attempts to get the right part, but they finally got the air-conditioning unit working properly. The air-conditioner is actually "BLOWING OUT COLD AIR!" KUDO's to Jeff Mankins in his efforts to MAKE RIGHT what was NOT DONE to begin with. Thank-you JEFF MANKINS!!! read more

It was my first time at the Larson and I was told not to go there but I still decided to go a head and purchase a car on 4/28/2018 2015 Subaru Legacy. Sale person John was good and friendly. When we received the car it was missing the car floor mat, I did mentioned to the sale person and the service people, they put only 3 mat in the car when the car the needs 4 floor mat. Still missing the driver floor mat.. My car came with only one key, I asked for the second key they said this car only came with one key, which is weird. When you purchase a car all car comes with two keys no matter what or you make another one, they didn't. Also, I was told I would get $200 + money for my tabs and registration since I don't live to close to a sounder transit, I received a check $12.00 really?? Just because I negotiate the price on the car they decided to take my money the other way. The Subaru had no gas in it. Before I took the car home they were doing services on my car before I take it home service engine light came on and I had to bring the car back was there for a week and yes I did get a loaner car which had no gas. I put gas in my Subaru before I brought back for services engine check light on & the loaner car I had to no gas so I had to put gas. I kept calling them to check on the status of the car and no one really contacted me or gave me a real answer. This was a really bad experience I ever had. read more

The folks in Puyallup are stand-up individuals who made a potential nightmare car buying situation right. And swiftly... I recently purchased a 2007 Dodge Cummins diesel pickup from them and had it shipped to me in MA. Unbeknownst to them (and me) the truck had some sneaky emissions control modifications that made it impossible/very expensive to register. I'm not sure how the truck passed their inspection, but that's besides the point now. Within 48hrs of receiving the truck and informing them of the situation, they offered to fully refund my purchase (+ expenses), take the truck back and help me find another one. Lesson learned- Test drive and inspect a used vehicle yourself and/or with a mechanically savvy friend before you buy it. I'm willing to bet a large percentage of other dealerships across the country would have told me to go take a hike. AWFUL! HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF 28.99% INTEREST RATE ON CAR LOAN??? I feel still drained after dealing with them for 2 hours. They will wear you out, using all kinds of tactics! My credit is not the best (600 credit score) but I was putting a lot of money down, was ready to put $2000-5000 for an European used car. The guy's name is Joe Ludwig and at first he told me I can look at the inventory on Internet and choose 4 used cars around 14,000. This was my max budget. He took my papers and after a while came saying that he has the car ready for me. We went out and he shoes me a small 2-door Honda or Hyundai I don't even care and he said this is the only car I can afford. I thought is probably $5000-$6000. He said let's go for a ride and I was like "Look, I don't like this small car - I can't even fit in it..." He said this is what the bank is willing to finance only. The car was around 15k... I said if they had SUV because that is what I wanted and willing to buy. Then he says "Ok, but this is it I am showing you this car and that's it!" He comes back with a Dodge Journey. I was very unhappy but went for the ride. It was a 2012 car for around 20k... MY INTEREST RATE WAS 28.99% FOR 60 MONTHS AT $617/MONTH................. I had to call my boyfriend who is a federal lawyer and knows the laws if he ever heard of a rate like this. He said he not only didn't heard of it but also IT IS ILLEGAL RATE.... I told them that and they said that it is ok, they always do it and there is no problem with it. When I asked Joe if I can have the print out with the rates ect.. he said "NO", I can't have it. I asked if his boss Daryl (he is half Asian I believe) is his name, if he can do a better rate. The guy asks him and WHAT HE DOES IS "EXTENDING THE TERM FROM 60 TO 72 MONTHS INSTEAD AND PRETENDING THAT HE DROPPED THE RATE 27.5%...OMG...THE THING KEEPS GOING....I told him he didn't drop the rate, he simply extended the term period to 6 years and that's why it shows that rate 1.5 point lower... I kept asking is there any other car I can check, from ALL THE CARS IN THE LOT, Joe said "NO, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE. DODGE JOURNEY. I SAID NOTHING ELSE? NO JEEP, NO FORD? THE ANSWER WAS "NO, NO, NO"! THE DECEPTION OF THESE TWO MEN WAS UNBELIEVABLE! THEY EVEN SHOUTED AT ME SAYING "WE DIDN'T PUT YOU IN THIS SITUATION - YOU PUT YOURSELF INTO THIS"! It was awful because there were other people and they could hear everything, they almost made me feel like being guilty of my not too good credit score........OMG! Me and my wife don't have the best credit and been working on fixing our credit and wanted to try getting a car to help our credit some more. Spoke with a Bryan Swan about our credit situation and he says that it shouldn't be a problem getting us into a car. Even the sign outside says they want "Good people with bad credit" . He ask us what kind of vehicle we need and what we could do for payments. I tell him we have 4 kids and just need something that could accommodate us all and we could only afford a max of 350 a month. I also ask him to please not ding my credit history more then once. He says no problem and not to worry we know where to start. He leaves comes back and tells us that we have been approved but the bank wants a $1500 fee and he is limited on cars he can absorb the fee with. He basically only offers a Toyota Corolla. I am not picky and think its a pretty nice car but it only seats 4. 2 seats short. Then a short time later he tells us he needs to look through the inventory to find us a car they wont lose money on and he will call me the next day. Couple days later still no call. Wife calls them and Bryan say he is still looking.. Couple days later still no call. Now I think we are getting blown off. Decided to try another dealership. Went to South Tacoma Auto and they hooked us up with the same bank with the $1500 fee and got us into a GMC Acadia 85k miles with 6 seats with the $347 a month payment. Long story short. I feel Larson blew us off and just didn't want to tell us they didn't want to help us out. Period. read more

Worst experience I've had shopping for a car. Went with my boyfriend after he called ahead about a truck they posted on craigslist. They told him they would go get it off their used lot and have it ready to test drive the next day. We had to drive a really long way, and when we got down there the next day they said someone was test driving it...all the way to Gig Harbor. They tried to push a 2014 on us with a way crappier quality interior for 10 thousand more bucks. No thanks. They told us the guy test driving it was definitely buying it. So we left. Not even an hour later they told us to come back. The guy wasn't buying it. We went down and test drove it. They ran my boyfriend's credit even though we told them we'd have a cosigner with stellar credit. The cosigner works 2nd shift. They said great. They'd have the cosigner info in the morning and then we'd work on the purchase. They appraised my boyfriend's trade in but refused to tell him what they appraised it for and would't talk numbers until they saw the cosigner (who's credit score is 800). There was a dent in the bumper and the check engine was on. My boyfriend asked that they please let him know what the light was in regards too. They tried to tell him it's from the gas being low. In a 2012? He still asked that they please get it checked and get back to him. Yesterday morning they confirmed they had the cosigner information. Then he calls to find out what the deal is and they told him they sold it to someone else. I'm pretty disgusted by the way they handled this. You take two different people's applications for the same truck at the same time and don't inform one when you sell it to the other? You try to write off the check engine light without taking a look at it? Give me a break people. Never going back there again and reporting them to the BBB. Cant believe we went back to this place! A few years ago we went and paid $2k to get our truck engine tuned up and they didnt do half the stuff they were supposed to. This time they charged us $200 just to do a diagnostics test, and they charged for a bunch of other stuff that would have cost the same to fix it than to just see what was wrong with it! horrible customer service, horrible way to run a business! Way to overpriced and untrustworthy! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! Listen to the other reviews and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! I will start out by saying that after several hours of negotiating, we did get a fair price on the car, but that is where my positive feedback must stop. After already waiting several hours to negotiate a deal on the car, we were the last customers in the dealership. We still had to wait a full hour longer to get into the finance office to do our paper work. The dealership tried to pull trickery even at this stage of the transaction by trying to tell us how bad our credit was, and by making sure not to show us the credit report that would be used by the bank. They tried to get us to sign up for a ridiculous interest rate. After seeing that we were not going to sign up for this rate, the finance manager magically found a way to get us a better rate. The finance manager, sales manager, and salesperson were all obviously annoyed about the deal we negotiated over a new jeep wrangler. I feel I should add that they did agree to the deal.... The car that we agreed to purchase was at another dealership, and due to the late hour could not be picked up that evening. However, we were forced to sign paperwork saying that the car was in perfect condition, and that our salesperson had done an outstanding delivery. The next evening when the car we purchased showed up, it was raining quite hard. We were not allowed an opportunity to inspect the vehicle before leaving. Our salesperson did not even show us how to adjust the mirrors, open the windows, turn on the windshield wipers, or even how to program the stereo. Had either one of us ever owned a jeep before this might not be so bad, but sadly enough due to the odd location of the window buttons it took us 15 minutes to figure out how to lower the windows. We also were told after everything that they don't even include a tank of gas in a new car! What kind of self respecting auto dealership would treat customers this way? I will finish by saying that our salesperson Paul Straling actually had the nerve to hand us several business cards and that we should send him referrals! I am going to happily refer everyone to go another dealership if you actually want to be treated with respect. I would like to offer the dealership one small bit of advice. No matter how much money you made, or did not make on this transaction. Customers are spending over 30,000 dollars on a regular basis, and need to feel like someone appreciates how difficult it is to part with that kind of money. Good customer service goes a long way to help people feel good about that decision. read more

If you are looking to purchase or trade in your vehicle, ask for Carmen Leota. Well the sales department overall is awesome. But Carmen is good at what she does and very honest about everything. I look forward to work with her on my next car or family member getting a new one. For the service department, you can all take your vehicle back because they finally let Marty Casey go. This man is the reason why I did not want to take my vehicle back for service. He's very rude and have no customer service skills. But I'm glad he no longer works here. I met the new manager and he was very nice to me. Also Molly was my service advisor, I hope I'll continue to work with her. She has been good at following up on issues I had with my vehicle when it was in the shop. read more

My husband and I have communicating with Carmen for a 2017 Dodge AWD Journey in blue. They one on their web site. We called and told her we were interested. We were told the car was in transit. That was 2 months ago. We called basically once a week. Carmen would say "I will let you know when it gets here. No problem. I will let you know." We still called and I jhecked the web site every day. A cou0le of weeks ago I called and again was told that it was in transit. I stated it had been in transit for over 6 months and I had $5,000 ready for a down payment. I needed to have it by Labor day weekend. A week ago my husband called and Carmen said it wasn't here yet but it was in Portland. Now mind you we had been asking where the car was in transit so we could make plans to go to the dealership as we live about 100 miles away. My husband called and talked to Carmen again. She said to make sure we would get that car we would have to put $5,000 down. Hmmmm exactly the same amount I told her I had for the down payment. My husband stated that we would wait for the car. Carmen called a couple days ago and my husband answered the phone. She said the car was in and then stated she had to check on something. She came back on the line and said she made a mistake the car is not in. Now we have gotten three phone calls in the past two days and one two of them my husband answered and the dealership hung up. (I love caller ID). Then Carm3en called again and said due to the flooding in Texas there would be a delay. She said the car was in Portland a few days ago. Now the car is off the website. I truly believe this was a bait and switch. I switched alright. I switched dealerships and got my car. Apparently answering the phone is not a priority for Larson. In the dozen or so times I've called to schedule service work for my vehicle I've NEVER gotten thru to a actual person on the first call. Today I've called FIVE times and was put on hold/ answer machine each time. When I did get thru the service dept was suppose to call me back...3 plus hours later and I'm still waiting. Generally, the service work has been ok, BUT I hate when companies refuse to hire enough people to answer their phones. read more

Do not go to puyallup Larson . We leased a car through here . When it was time to turn it in we started calling a month ahead of time to figure out the process because the last time we leased a car from another place . Months in advanced they sent us paper work on what to do. We call Larson they know nothing every person said hmmm I'm not sure ... how do you guys lease cars and no one , knows the process in returning it ????? If you don't know fine transfer me to someone that does . Do you think in the 10 phone calls over a month period anyone ever called us back with an answer ? Nope never found out what to do . Finally a lady tells us just bring it in because we aren't sure .... so we clean it bring it in the day before our lease it up ..apparently only 1 person deals with leases and is not here . So now we are waiting not to mention there are at least 6 car sales people here. So if this lease guy comes and just takes the keys and says thanks I might lose it . Since we have been sitting here for 30 minutes already . They would have had our business again but since they care nothing about their customers we will be taking our business elsewhere . read more

Very disappointed in the lack of customer service here. Don't count on the cars shown on the website actually being available to test drive. Also don't count on the sales staff being able to tell you when specific vehicles will be ready, or in helping you find something similar. read more

It's too bad I can't give them a 0 star rating. The service department is HORRIBLE! We took in our truck for an oil change. Upon receiving it back, we get home to find out that the set of keys they gave back aren't even ours! We called down there and they tell us that we must be mistaken. After arguing for 2 days and getting the manager involved, they finally omitted to loosing the keys. They had no idea where they were. The set of keys they lost had keys for other stuff. For a simple oil change, it should have been ready for the same day. They told us it wouldn't be ready till the next day. This is probably because they had to make another set of keys. They didn't bother to mention that the other set of keys wouldn't work. So we again had to make many phone calls to get the manager to finally get another set of keys that would work. So now we don't know who has the keys that were lost and if our vehicle is safe. On the next visit they put a massive dent in the door. It won't even open up without buckling the fender. Now we have to buy a whole new door because the service department won't own up to this. They say it must have been there before. We will never recommend Larsen Dodge to anyone as you cannot trust them with your vehicle. The staff lies right to your face and they don't treat your vehicle with care. They should be turned into the BBB. Stay away from Larsen Dodge! read more
