Authentic Mexico food at reasonable prices. We had the steak tacos, American style which is on flour as opposed to corn soft tacos. They were very flavorful as was the guacamole. Service was very good as well. Only cons to this place would be the dirty outside restroom. read more

Don't be freaked out when you come in because it is the ultimate hole in the wall but well worth it! The server was super friendly and our food came out fast. I went with a group of 6 and we all got different items but we loved each of them! The "momma" comes out to bring you your food which was a nice touch. Came here based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Delicious food with the sense of one eating home cooked meals and the service was prompt and friendly. Everything on the menu was affordable and they had a surprisingly large menu for a tiny place. Authentic Mexican items like menudo, sopes and posole. I ordered the 2 enchilada (red and green) which came with rice and refried beans for 5 bucks, I inhaled it in maybe 6 mins. We even squeezed in some paletas for dessert! I enjoyed looking around the store, but felt like the restaurant was just okay. My husband got a burrito that he seemed to like. I got a couple carne asada tacos (Mexican style, which are typically my favorite), but they didn't have much flavor. The salsa they brought to the table was tasty though and, based on all the great reviews, I may have just ordered wrong. Just ate a light lunch here. It's a Mexican grocery and taqueria in a small plaza. They have sopes and gorditas which are my favorite. Their sauces are good especially the mild one. It had great flavor. Cheap and tasty. Definitely worth a stop. There is an area to sit down. read more

I have to say this was amazing. We came with our family of 10 and 4 were children. Our server was phenomenal and catered to the kids to perfection. He played with them and made them feel welcomed. Our food was outs acting and the chips and salsa were just flowing. I had the Mexican paella and omg to die for. A huge plate with fresh seafood. My husband had the burrito supreme and it tasted great. Full of flavor. They have a good kid menu and my daughter had a hot dog which was really good. If you're in blue ridge you should try it. Yes, it's inside a little Mexican market. We weren't sure what to make of it when we drove up to it, but the food was fantastic, authentic, and inexpensive! It's furnished with fast food style seating but the food is amazing! I enjoyed traditional tacos pastor (pork) with rice and beans. My son had chicken mole, and raved about it. Meal starts with chips and salsa, and the drinks are all bottled sodas, iced tea, etc. We got a small dish of fresh guacamole that was great...could've ordered a second one, but we wanted to make sure we were hungry for the main courses. The menu is probably 10 pages long...it seems like they have everything! Worth a visit, for sure. For families...there's kid-friendly foods like quesadillas. read more

We eat here at least once in every trip to Blue Ridge. Recommend it highly! Saturday there is usually a homemade soup! Back again and the food is still amazing. Bugs everywhere, cockroaches on the wall and ceiling where we sat. When walking in, the hostess said to take our seat while the server told us to get our own drinks, they did not serve water. The only drinks were the bottled drinks. The beans were practically soup. I ordered the street tacos but got back tacos with only meat, cheese and lettuce. After sending it back I waited 15 minutes for them to bring the tacos that were only the meat onions and cilantro (it was correct but took that long when only 2 other customers were in the establishment.) Once I received my food, I could only force down 1 taco before feeling sick from how bad the "meat" was. My younger sister only ate a few bites of the "famous authentic" chimichanga and lost appetite after seeing the cockroaches. I am pretty sure the other reviews are made up because as soon as you walk into the restaurant, you will understand. Please do not go there if you value your health. read more

I'm not sure how this place makes money on their food, because it is so ridiculously cheap, and yet so amazingly delicious. It's a family run Mexican Store, and in the back, said family makes authentic and fresh meals, made with care and love, and gives it all to you for several dollars. I like getting 2 tacos with rice and beans ($3.50), and a side of the fresh made-to-order guacamole with chips, but if you want to splurge, I recommend the chile verde.
