The service and hospitality here is absolutely amazing! Linda, the owner, greeted us with compliments and made us feel like family. Then her daughter, the bartender, proceeded to make the BEST Cadillac margarita!!! And then the FOOD!!! Shrimp enchiladas to die for!!! And the Birria tacos YUM YUM YUM!!! We will be back a million times!

We love coming here for a Christmas Eve dinner. They accommodate large parties (6+) really well in their enclosed outdoor patio. The restaurant is always festively decorated during the holidays and it's easy to find parking. We've never had a wait and enjoy the atmosphere. This year we had Cadillac margaritas and they were VERY good. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas for the first time and absolutely loved the garlic sauce and the flavors really went well with the beans and rice. The birria tacos, queso blanco, mole enchiladas and fajitas are also pictured here. All of the food is super good portion sizes are large and the service is great! No complaints love to come here.

We visited in late Saturday afternoon and we were not disappointed. It was a bit too warm for patio dining so we chose to dine inside. The service was great; very attentive. The Chips were amazing & Salsa was delightful, the Corona's were icy cold! I chose the Shredded Beef Flauta with tasty Rice and delicious Refried Beans with Jack Cheese. The hubs had a Chile Verde Burrito and was stuffed and happy. We will definitely visit again very soon.

The customer service was excellent. The margarita was tasty. I drove there for the chicken mole and was a little disappointed. It was greasy. The mole had good flavor, but perhaps it wasn't fresh.

Las Brisas is our go-to restaurant for delicious food and top-notch service, even during peak hours. Taco Tuesday is the optimal time to visit, as the prices are unbeatable and the quality remains high. The outdoor seating is nice.

You can clearly see my total was adjusted. We left before 4. So they charged my card well after I left.

Me and my family stopped on the way home (an hour drive) to eat before the long drive. Food was alright. Place was nice and clean. Service was nice and wait time wasn't long since there was only 2 tables (including us) the problem or issue I have is after paying. I gave my card and told the waitress who took the card with the receipt that there's also cash with the card as a tip. I tipped what was recommended on the receipt with cash. My total came out for just the food 59.77. Come to find out the next day they ended up charging my card more making the total over $70. Basically doubling the tips. Because again I tipped with cash informed the waitress her cash tip was in there and later they tipped themselves again with my card. I attempt to call to leave VM atleast to fix the situation and I'm unable to it asking for a password pin. My receipt clearly said what my total was and that's the amount I agreed and signed for 59.77. Later charging a customers total after they sign is not ok. If you pay with card check your statement on your bank before leaving. I will attempt to reach out to them again as it honestly doesn't sit right with me.

The best Mexican food in my opinion. I always order the 3 item combo- chicken taco, chicken flauta and chicken enchilada for $18.99. Also comes with rice and beans. Order came hot and fresh. Their chicken is the best. Rice and beans were perfect. The chips and salsa are also delicious. I order a side of chili verde to dip the chips. Customer service is also excellent. Whenever I'm in the area, I make sure to stop by here, a hidden gem in Apple Valley.

I absolutely adored our server, he was lovely. I got the birria tacos, they were fantastic. The drinks were also super good. We ate on the patio which was super nice, the weather was perfect and it was an amazing experience.

The place was nice. It had a nice atmosphere and the service was decent. The food though. I would definetly pass. There is NOTHING authentic about the food. The seafood plates are served with garlic bread, the meat had no seasoning, the rice was bland, and the beans had chorizo, but the flavoring was off. Not only was the food below average, but the bill was way above average. We paid almost $200 for a salad and 3 other plates. If you can avoid this place, please do. read more

Love love loved this restaurant!! Our first time here and celebrated our 27th anniversary!! Loved the bar area and staff! Had an emotional connection with Linda as we were asking about the significance of the Christmas tree!! I just couldn't,, brought me to tears. We have been coming here for almost 20 years and have never had a bad meal. The food and drinks are always delicious and the service and atmosphere are always great. It's fun to sit out on the patio and in the winter they have a fire pit going to keep you warm. We will definitely keep returning for many years to come! read more

Hi my name is Sean, I was there for dinner with my parents and my son. Our server was insanely slow even though there weren't any customers there for the 3 hours we were there. They couldn't keep drinks or chips and salsa on our tables even though we paid extra for chips and salsa, and to make it worse when we got our food my mom got the wrong food when she has a gluten allergy. To top off the experience the owner went around talking about personal affairs with all the customers. We thought it was highly inappropriate and that's when we decided to leave. I bought a coupon booklet from the Daily Press which had a $20 coupon for this restaurant. When I went to pay my server said they would not honor the coupon because I did not order 2 sodas or 2 entrees from the dinner menu. This was NOT explained to me before I ordered, also, it is NOT mentioned on the coupon or posted anywhere that I saw. I assume they do this promotion to attract new customers, it this a good start? I noticed the table next to me suffered the same fate, I wonder if they will post on Yelp? I will NOT be back. read more

The last time I was in there the place was over run by feral cats. The cats were running in the rafters and all over the patio which is actually in closed. The whole patio and entrance smells like cat urine. read more

The food is fine. Good, even. The service is horrible. I mean, hands down, break out a first place giant trophy award for "slowest service ever". I went in for lunch. No one in the place. Took 10 minutes for someone to come by after I was seated. Ceviche took 20 minutes to come out. Again, no one in the place. Keep in mind, ceviche is already made. And the tostada it comes on was store bought. They sliced a fresh avocado on it--but my 5 year old twins would take less time walking to the market, buying an avocado, and crafting a knife out of construction paper to cut the avocado, then this place took to bring me already-made food. But yeah, it tasted good and was seasoned well. Wasn't the best. Wasn't the worst. The store bought tostado was a shame, though. And I was missing a cilantro flavor, too. Then I took a risk, and ordered enchiladas as well. And then I asked for the check. Ordering the enchiladas and getting the check all took over 40 minutes. I was the *only* person in the place. Can you imagine coming here when it was busy? I think they must have cots in the back so people can take a nap while waiting for their food. Again, the food is fine. My recommendation? Order it to go. And take your time driving there to get it. read more

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the high desert. My husband and i have been here many times over the last several years. We've had delicious guacamole, chicken mole (homemade sauce), Chile Colorado, enchiladas, Chile rellenos, rice, beans, flautas, and more. The sauces are homemade, the staff is warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the drinks are hand crafted and to die for. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the desert (I've been to many); the quality of las brisas sets them far ahead of the rest. read more

I live 3 minutes away from this place and Had never been there! We stopped by to celebrate my brother and I am ABSOLUTELY HAPPY we chose this place! It is such a beautiful reataurant, they have a patio and a bar area and its gorgeous! The food was delicious I got the green enchiladas suizas and my husband got the steak and it was to die for. The service was AMAZING! We had Tim and he was very polite and peofessional and looks like he enjoys his job! Also the manager came by a couple of times to ask how everything was, and everyone works together as a team! The whole staff was amazing! I would HIGHLY recommend this Restaurant and I cant wait to go back! You can celebrate your birthday here and they staff comes and sings happy birthday to you! read more

The Pandemic has been difficult for many eating establishments, this place is no different. However quality and concern for the customers still take priority here. The prices are up but it seems that everywhere we find the same thing. The food and service was great. When my waitress brought our food it was the same quality as it was 3 years ago when I reviewed this place. We have had great weather here in the high desert and the porch with its flaming pit really sets a great atmosphere. The are great at cooking steak. The waitress had me cut it to see if it were to my satisfaction. If you want a fast-food, this is not it. Everything is cooked when you order it the same as another mom and pop restaurant. I have been to great restaurants in the past that have lost its quality but not this one. Parking is minimal and prices are high, but every good restaurant at this time is. Especially Momand pop places that do home cooking. read more

First time here. Always wanted to try this place because of the good reviews. I understand with covid they were probably understaffed but after sitting for 1 1/2 hrs without getting our food we asked to just get it to go. They got my drink order wrong took 40 minutes for our appetizer. We ordered the ceviche which should have been pre-made. The table behind us which seemed like they knew the manager got seated about 45 minutes after us and got they're food in about 15 minutes. As several people have noted they charge for more salsa. Save your money way better restaurants read more

Service: We had the best service we've ever had at a restaurant last night at Las Brisas. The entire staff is so attentive and friendly, we had to make sure to tip everyone who made us feel welcome. I've never tipped 50%, but they definitely made it feel worth it. Food: Aside from the excellent service everything is so fresh and the food doesn't need any extra salt or seasonings that I find most restaurants do. Aside from homemade food, this is truly some of the best food I've had as well. Location: From the front it doesn't look like it's going to be much at all and looks a little older, but one you approach from the back (as that's where the parking is) there is a beautiful huge iron gate, a fire pit and heaters for outside seating, inside is filled with lots of fish tanks and very nice seating. Over all I'm so glad I found this restaurant. I'll definitely be back. Make sure to give this place a try! read more

Noticing a constant downward trend. Food was not hot and not to the quality we were use to, service was really slow, requests went unanswered and they were not busy. They will really need to look at things and make changes to improve. Sadly, we won't be going back. read more

The service was amazing and Gus went to all tables to check all the customers. All the service crew was very attentive and friendly. The ambience was awesome and fireplace was very cool. The food was good, it's big and home made tortilla was the best torilla I ever tasted! The experience was very pleasant and unfortunately the table in front of us was so loud that I could hear their entire convos. We will be back soon and we will stay in the patio and enjoy the fireplace and the background music. read more

Very nice looking restaurant ! The food is okay but a bit over priced the portions are very small and the service is a little slow for the amount of people that were present (around four ) I ordered Chile Verde with flower tortillas the pork was dry and the three tortillas were very hard as for my wife she had the shrimp enchiladas each plate came with rice and beans witch seemed like the main course I was only able to see one staff member who was pretty much doing everything taking the orders, serving the food and drinks as well as the mixed drinks but still managed to render great service .my three stars is for the food, portions and the hardness of the tortilla. read more

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first. In my experience, salads at Mexican restaurants can sometimes feel like an afterthought: a handful of greens with a few random toppings tossed in. That definitely wasn't the case here. I ordered the Montecito Chicken Salad, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The chicken was served warm (exactly how I like it on a salad) and seasoned perfectly. It wasn't dry or bland like you sometimes get with salad proteins--it was flavorful and clearly prepared with care. The portion size was also generous. Instead of a few tiny pieces scattered around, there was plenty of chicken, making the salad feel like a full and satisfying meal rather than a side dish pretending to be lunch. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. It's the kind of salad that reminds you a simple dish can still be done really well. Another thing that stood out was the service. The older women working there were incredibly kind and welcoming. You could tell they take pride in their work and in the place itself. That kind of genuine hospitality always makes a dining experience better. Music was at a tolerable level and reminded me of my childhood home, my mom played some great music when she cooked, cleaned or just vibed. Sometimes the most unexpected places end up being the best stops. Montecito Kitchen turned a quick lunch break into a really pleasant surprise. Next time I'm back in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in again--there are plenty of other dishes on the menu I'd happily come back to try. Great food, warm service, and a salad that actually delivers. Definitely worth the stop.

I needed food catering but I needed something nice for a corporate meeting/lunch for 20 people up at the cement plant in Lucerne Valley. I turned to Las Brisas because they have catered our open house, one of the biggest annual events held at the plant for the employees and their families. The main contact from the restaurant for the catering was Robert. He is friendly and very professional. He even came out to the plant 3 days before the lunch-in to prepare himself on what he would need to bring because he wanted to make sure it was going to be nice for our guests. We chose from the catering buffet menu, and discussed times and pricing. The day of the lunch-in Robert and his crew showed up on time, got everything setup in the board room and all was good. I recommend Las Brisas Restaurant for catering because they know what they are doing. Most importantly they think about the guests they will be feeding and will give insight to the detail from where people will line up, and placement of the food setting, plates, utensils, napkins and drinks etc...
