Came here with the bf a few weeks ago because he passed by one day and was excited to try based on the reviews. Even though a lot of the prices are listed as market price, for the amount of food they give you it's actually pretty decent. The food was pretty good, his being better than mine. I played it safe with a garlic shrimp plate and he went big with a stuffed lobster platter that I forget the name of (picture attached). The drinks matched the size of the plates and were very large and tasty. Unfortunately our experience was just meh. I understand the language barrier makes it pretty difficult to communicate with one another especially when ordering, but our server barely came by to check on us throughout our meal and just went to her other tables.We saw her for our order and our check. It just made us feel out of place. We probably won't be going back unless I brush up on my Spanish a lot. read more

My husband and I had always seen a full parking lot at this place so we decided to check it out. Well we didn't enjoy ourselves. Our waitress took a long time to show up after we were seated, was MIA most of the time after that and didn't give great service. I had the shrimp kabob. It was good but I was given the higher priced kabob without it being explained that there were two options for them on the menu. The two options were on separate menus. My husband really didn't enjoy his meal (taco salad) or his drinks (House margarita and Long Island). They were weak. After eating the kabob and having a mango margarita, I felt like crap and went immediately to bed when I got home. Also, there was Mariachi band that played at your table at request. We don't like live music at restaurants. They were really loud, used as small speaker and play 4 songs for the table next to ours. Then 2 songs at the table next to that. So annoying! The owner came by and checked on us a couple times. That was a nice touch, but we won't be back. read more

One of the greatest restaurants I've eaten at. No wait time, food delivered within 10 mins of ordering it. We had this great waiter named Saul, he was extremely nice and was really talkative and funny! He's not a waiter at the restaurant, he's more like a friend and was always happy to help. Wow!! Muy excellente!! Large dozen half shell oysters. $25. Pineapple stuffed with seafood, $15. Not too shabby. It has excellent flavor...crab,scallops,fish,and octopus, lil shrimps..very tasty. Tried this place for the first time...the restaurant has lots going on and was very busy at 4:00PM on a Saturday. They seems to be very kid friendly, had a jumpy outside, kids movies playing and really pretty aquariums inside. Live music and the day we were there Santa was walking around. The menu is mostly seafood dishes, but they have a traditional menu too. Some stuff we didn't know what it was on the menu, but the staff was more than helpful. The free crab appetizer they serve was delicious. We also got shrimp empanadas, i really likes those. Our entrees were large portions and presented well. Flavor was good (the crab in the dishes we had was imitation crab, but still good). Not bad prices. Also, lots of pretty fruity drinks were being served. I'd say it's definitely worth a trip to check out. read more

I got sick because of your food and I missed my final exams because of my sickness, and before you say "it took 72 hours to become sick-" bullshit. I don't know where you get your misinformation but according to WHO (a trusted organization full of experts) , symptoms of food poisoning takes around 6-24 hours. Instead of spreading false information and say that the sickness doesn't come from your foods because y'all took "safely protocols", you should take the responsibility and accept that criticism. I don't know how your "safety protocol" works but y'all should review it again. Oh and by the way, It's not just me. 3 people in my party got sick too from eating there. This place is good and I lile that they give you ceviche free!! If I had to make a complaint it would be, if you go for crab legs ASK THE PRICE FIRST!!. We went 1st timers and got crab yes it says market price so they came out to be about $85 ( we dis niy know the price until thw bill came ), however that is not the issue our issue was the server didnt ask had we been there before, if he had asked I feel when we ordered the crab legs he would of said they are ( whatever the price is ) and its enough to feed 2/3 people had he said that we would not of gotten seperate meals. So we ended up spending over $100 we noticed everyone else dining clearly were regular customers because they were ordering to share. Over all its a good place, the food is good. read more

Tried to have dinner with a group of friends. Arrived at the place at 9:40. We were told it was going to be a 40 min wait time. We were a group of 6 and it was fairly busy so we were patient and waited. We were seated at 10:35 pm. Our waitress took our drink order and came back at 10:47 pm to inform us the "grill" was the only thing opened. Mind you it's lent time and the grill consists of meat and chicken options only. Had they informed us at the door when we asked for a table they close the seafood at 10:45 pm we would've gone somewhere else. The waitress also failed to inform us whenever she took our drink order at 10:40 pm. We were 2 minutes late to place our food orders!!!! The manager came out and seemed annoyed at us THE CUSTOMERS!! We are frequent customers at this location too. The location closes at 12 pm! They should definitely try to tell the girls at the door to tell the customers they close the kitchen 1 1/2 hours before the restaurant closes. Or put a sign up. read more

A friend got a $24 drink, i forgot what it was called but it was like a spicy/salty alcoholic drink with chunks of pineapple and mango. Almost like a michelada WITHOUT the tomato juice but rather with like pina juice or mango juice. I don't like salty/sweet/spicy drinks. I just remember it was $24 per drink. I got a margarita for $14 per glass. Went on a tuesday. I didn't feel welcome here i guess because I don't look Hispanic enough. Whatever. The food was good though. read more

Lets just dive in, this place is a little quirky with their setup. Most of the menu is priced "MP", which is understandable for seafood. But it took forever to get the price for each and with a party of 10 it got chaotic, with only 3 spanish speaking people with us. They should have a chalk board "MP" pricing for the day. I ordered the the "Langoste cocinada al gusto" $50 dish. The dish was huge, but then i was shocked to see IMITATION CRAB!! We also ordered the oysters gratinee(oysters were hard to find within the pile) which was topped with the same filling w/ Imitation Crab $40 for 12!!!! It wasn't the firm sushi grade fake crab either, just the mushy kind . Then i noticed a trend: FAKE crab, octopus, and shrimp was the filling for alot of their dishes. All of the dishes we got listed "Crab" on the menu but we got fake crab with ALL of them. If im paying $50 a seafood dish i do not want to see "Fake Crab" or at least disclose the fact. All our main dishes came out before the apps, the pasta came first for 3 people so they waited 25 min for our food. The pasta looked good even though all 3 of the same pasta looked different . The octopus, shrimp, and lobster was fresh. The best thing i had was the "cucaracha shrimp" (fried shrimp in spicy sauce). When the bill came around i noticed some final things. They charge ***10.25% TAX*** on my food bill, no alcohol. They only add 15% gratuity (which seems low). Server was good though and she was patient with us. But with so many seafood spots within the vicinity, i'm not sure i would come back. read more

My family and I went to las costas nayaritas to celebrate my birthday. A party of 8. tried calling days before to put a reservation , nobody ever picked up. whatever...we thought it was only walk ins I guess. We walked in, completely packed. asked the host the wait time, she said "50 mins". She was so rude, and not welcoming at all honestly. Anyway, we were finally seated. server was nice but not very honest. we wanted to order the tray that comes with everything, we asked him how many people it feeds he said "about 4" So we had ordered two, maybe considering it was smaller than what we were served. nope lol. huge tray. wish I had taken a picture. he could've been more honest and said that it would feed at least 8-10 people because that sounds much more realistic once you see the amount of food the tray has. Fantastic food & ambience! The entire restaurant just has a great vibe, from interior decor/lighting and mariachi band to the outdoor art and bouncy play area for children. Oh yes...and the main reason you go in the first place...the dishes we ordered were excellent, and from the looks of it so was everyone's around us! We went on a Saturday for a late lunch. My son and I had the burrito/la banderita (our first time dining), and my husband the filete diamante. Both meals equally delicious - I mean really, really good. Fresh with great portion sizes.
