Absolutely HORRIBLE. We just left after the experience of ordering soup to go and waiting a while, we asked a few times about our order taking so long ( it was only soup) so we kept waiting then 20 minutes later we were then told they ran out of soup. At least check and let us know before you take the order whether you have it. There were very little people in there also. For years my family, friends and I have gone to this pretty local restaurant and it doesn't disappoint. My personal favorite has always been the chile relleno, so savory and flavorful, I almost always order it alongside an order of Pork Carnitas! The salsa choices are also tasty and go really well with many of their dishes. Perfect range of mild to spicy with the choices they have. The service has always been super kind and friendly, even became familiar faces as my loved ones and I keep going back year after year. It's pretty small inside so they have some outdoor tables on the left hand side when you face the restaurant going in. There's a tarp overhead that offers some shade too which is a plus. Most likely, I'm going to go back for my favorite order of chile relleno (perhaps with some horchata) in a couple weeks so that says a lot about how much I love this local eatery! :D Thank you always for the good meals and warm smiles! read more

I really hate to do this but I won't stay silent about it any more. We always try to support local businesses. We have tried and tried and tried again. For some reason it is a 50/50 chance of getting our order right. Today, I ordered a exact same take out as always - a burrito with carnie asada, pinto beans and cheese only. When we got the food home it was carnie asada, pinto beans and rice. On the bag it literally says cheese and they charge extra for the cheese. It is one thing if this kind of thing happened rarely but it is at least 50% of the time. They were not even busy. I am sick of paying for things and not getting them and paying extra for it too. When we call to report it they say they are sorry and make excuses. They offer to make another one and we can come back. It is pouring rain today and we don't just live down the street. My husband has driven back numerous times but today it really is not worth it. It is time to stop hoping they will get the order right. When three items in a burrito is too much to handle, you know you need to find a different place to support. Stay away if you want your order correct. It simply isn't something they can handle. read more

Discovering Las Delicias adjacent to a Tesla Supercharger was a stroke of luck. I actually think Yelp should have a "Next to a Tesla Supercharger" filter. Anyhow, this gem of a restaurant offered an exceptional dining experience during our car's charging session. The shrimp cocktail was flavorful, as were the fajitas and carne asada tacos. Not only was the food good, but it was also reasonably priced. What truly set Las Delicias apart was the staff. Their professionalism, politeness, and sense of humor made our lunch even more enjoyable. It's clear that they are not just good at what they do, but they also put in a lot of effort and care into their work. As the name suggests, it really is delicious! I had eaten at another one of these restaurants in Santa Clarita some years ago and was not impressed, but tried this one out a couple of months ago and I literally go almost every day now. Their carnitas and carne asada soft tacos are extremely inexpensive and delicious. Chips are made fresh constantly, and they really have some excellent salsas. This place was absolutely fantastic and added to my day. I stopped here by recommendation by a number of people. It was actually a toss up between this place and another one called La Cacina. I want to choosing this one because there is one extra vote and I ran it to the random thingy chooser online (You have to have a little fun once in awhile with this kind of thing). Upon getting to the door, the first thing I noticed was that there is a line of people almost going out the door. This, obviously, is a great sign. Obviously, the food is good. At least, this is typically what that means. And thankfully, this was exactly what it meant. The service was great. The girl at the register had a great smile and was incredibly friendly. The menu was easy to order from and I wound up going with a supreme burrito and a large order of chips because I was craving some salsa. I tried two different salsas, a guac salsa that had a good amount of bite to it, and another tomato based salsa that was mild but had plenty of flavor. Both of these added to my burrito and chip experience nicely. The burrito, was wonderful and obviously the main highlight. It was filled with flavor and reminded me kind of a Baja fresh burrito. Only, authentic versus fast food. Within just a few bites of the burrito, I wound up adding it to my favorite places to check out when I'm in the area. So, I would highly recommend this place to anyone nearby. If you're in Valencia or anywhere else even a bit further, it is definitely worth the little added drive to get to it. We ordered simple dishes for us and our 1 year old: huevos con chorizo & a breakfast burrito. After waiting 20 minutes for our food, we noticed they were cooking and cooking but just for ppl who were doing order pick ups. Totally forgot about the people who actually came in and were patiently waiting... us! My husband asked the cashier if our food was almost ready and he said he'd bring it... another 10 minutes pass and still no food. The people who come in should receive the same service or better than those ordering online / phone (whatever the service is). Finally... we had to leave ... asked for our food to go. I've been trying to support local businesses more than normal during this pandemic. And I truly hate leaving negative reviews... but my experience this morning was worth warning people. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly, attentive and kind. But the food is questionable and possibly unsafe. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it arrived with a 1/3 slab of uncooked bacon. As I was eating - I wondered "where's the bacon flavor" and assumed the bacon was probably at the bottom of the burrito. The burrito was mainly beans and eggs. Absolutely no flavor. Then - I finally got to the bacon. One... long... uncooked slab of bacon fat. Completely uncooked and super gross. Very disappointing. I'm really trying to support restaurants... and I know it's brutally hard right now. But you can't serve uncooked pork guys. Come on. I'm leaving two stars for the friendly staff. Las Delicias is my go-to taco shop in SCV. Quick and delicious, we haven't found anything here that we don't like. The carne Asada is delicious, as well as the Al pastor. We ordered carne Asada nachos and a quesadilla this time. The portions are big enough to share and the nachos have a good chip to topping ratio. We also really enjoy their breakfast burrito and the burrito supreme with Al pastor, no lettuce. I'm not a big fan of lettuce in my burrito, as it gets too warm and soggy. My kids also love their bean and cheese burrito. Their food is always made fresh to order, so if you're in a hurry it's best to call ahead. The staff is always super friendly and grateful for their customers. They really make an effort to get to know their regulars as well. Every order comes with chips and salsa. I recommend the green (a creamy jalepeno sauce) and the orange salsa if you like spicy. Don't forget to tip the awesome staff! read more
