Not gonna lie, reading through the reviews scared me a little. But I really wanted mariscos and made the trek with mi familia. The location is in the corner of a plaza next to an auto parts store. It looks unassuming but once you open the doors, you're greeted with the once too familiar sounds of mariachi/ranchera/Mexican cancion. Our hands were sanitized, temperatures checked and we were seated promptly. We were given our menus, brought chips and salsa and we put in our drinks order. After they were brought, we placee an order for 6 oyster shooters, 6 shrimp empanadas, the seafood pasta, the birria, and the fish tacos. The waitresses came by plenty of times to ask how everything was going and if we needed anything. The food was adequately priced. Portions were more than enough and quite tasty. We had to pack the leftovers and one of the waitress was nice enough to give us a modelo box to put over leftover boxes in. Would come again!

My husband loves the ceviche here. He says it's comparable to what he grew up eating in Acapulco. It's very fresh and doesn't smell weird or fishy. Nice fresh flavors.

Molcajete Corona aka more salt then one should have

Service: horrible ! Was asked if I wanted a type of tortillas twice- where brought the wrong type. Even in a low customer rate, still get crappy service. Waitresses just don't care. Waitresses where talking and standing around versus helping customers .. Food quality: bland - carne azada with shrimp plate. Beans tasted like out of a can. Rice was ok., carne asada tasted bland (no flavor) . Salsa was ok but no salt. The molcajetero corona - salty as fuck. They didn't bring an extra plate as promised, and only brought a fork. And didn't even come back , had to get the bust boy to bring us the crab utensils to get the meat. The michelada - tasted like Chile not beer. The horchata tasted like water and cinnamon. Overall - not a good experience at all and not worth the money! Food pricing: not worth the money ! Cleanest: ok Spanish Music available Would I recommend ? NO! Tip: upside down coin. Hell no! We almost walked out and left the food - that's how bad

Single shrimp taco is huge !

Food is either cooked or raw, no in between. For the price, better to make the mariscos at home rather than getting guaranteed raw food.

I should have known better than to come to this new local North Plains food pod location…read more(post-fireworks) on a Friday, July 5th afternoon lol. Because out of the four usual pods that are here, only SlackTide was open!!! Yippee!!! I finally get to try them too!!! Yippee Skippy!!! Here's my order: ~ Again, this was my first time trying this pod, so I went BIG. I ordered their best item, the $28 Captian's Platter. This consisted of two pieces of fish, in which lingcod was the "featured fish." Three pieces of fresh scallops. And three pieces of fresh shrimp. First of all, I was warned by the owner Brian that lingcod is a thinner fish. But being an avid angler, I was familiar with how big or long lingcod can get. I will admit the fish pieces were somewhat small, but I was warned. I had to get that deep-fried, forearm sized "British fish-n-chips in a newspaper" thought out of my head. The breading, however, was crispy good! The breading stayed on the fish as well. Another plus in my book! As for the scallops and shrimp, oh boy these were just as tasty, dipped in the cocktail sauce or tartar. Squeeze a lil' lemon, add a lil' salt, and mmm mmm!!! The good thing was, after eating that platter, I didn't have that greasy guilty feeling. Oh wait, there's more... ~ Who wants CHOWDAH?!?!?! MAAAAN, I've been up and down the Pacific coast and damn, SlackTide sells some good competition worthy chowder! Why? Because with each spoonful scoop, it had clam with every bite. The base was just right, not too thin, not too thick. It just tasted amazing to me, and thank goodness it wasn't overwhelmed by big potato filler pieces. I only sampled the 10oz cup for $8, but now I know next time to try it in a bread bowl. Welp, that's just about it regarding SlackTide. Call me a fan! Some may think its a bit pricey, but the seafood was cooked fresh on the spot, and EVERY bite was just pure blliss! I had a great talk with the owner Brian about how he manages to do this part-time on the weekends. Man, much props! Fish only stays fresh for so long, so understandable with the short hours. But I'm all about supporting locals. FIVE Star-fish for these guys!!!

I didn't know there were food trucks out here. Luckily I spotted them in the way to a car show. I…read morehad the Fish & Chips (Lingcod was the catch of the day) and it was excellent. The fish was very fresh, nice seasoned cornmeal breading and perfectly cooked. The fries were equally good. Although next time I'd like to try the clam chowder as the side. The tartar sauce was as good as the rest of the meal.

Their lobster, king crab legs, headless shrimp, and clams are always fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor that you choose. I always get the garlic butter. My second favorite is Cajun mild spicy. The clams is super meaty and I find myself gobbling that as soon I dive in. I've been here like more than 6 times already and it never disappoints. The servers are also welcoming and check in with me. Eating this can be messy so they will give you gloves, plastic bibs, and hand wipes. Bathroom in the back are clean too. We ended up getting non spicy so our kiddo can try all the seafood and it still came out tasty. While she didnt eat a lot of seafood, she loved the garlic noodles. So far I would say this is one of the better seafood places in beaverton at this moment.

Help me with the update, Google said that it's permanently closed but is it?…read more Server: there was one person serving and she was busy but was still thoughtful and kind. Food: 1. Seafood pancake $20. TBH, it's more like squid pancake as that's the only seafood haha however when eating it fresh it was delicious and the batter was light. There was a good amount of green onions too which I love. Since my mom can't do spicy compared with me she provided soy sauce but I also got their spicy sauce it was fine (with a tiny dip). 2. Steamed dumplings (around $15) were good as it was piping hot and it was packed full of meat. TBH, all the foods we had didn't really need the additional sauce as both of the appetizers were flavorful enough!

Food was pretty good but did not like the Deulkkae Gamjatang (perilla leaf and pork neck bone soup), it was difficult to get any pork off the bone and it tasted like beans and flaxseed ( somewhat gritty) and was not smooth like regular soup. However other dishes were pretty good and large enough so that all 5 of us could share 3 dishes. Would come back but only to try other dishes and with a smaller party.
