Stopped at this taqueria for a taco run and it hit exactly how it should. I ordered 4 Asada tacos solid size, fresh, juicy and packed with legit flavor. They set you up right from the start with complimentary chips and salsa while you wait The salsas they serve alongside the tacos are straight fire m, balanced and exactly what tacos are asking for. The spot itself is clean, bright and loud with colorful walls, that actually lives up to the menu. Staff are on their game too friendly, attentive and quick to make sure you're good. They do blast house music a little too loud so phone calls = step outside. Not a dealbreaker, just part of the experience, but fair warning. Overall, great taqueria for quality tacos with personality. Pull up. Eat good. Just be ready for the music. I'll definitely be back!

No hand soap dispenser in the "Employee Only" bathroom

Had been wanting to eat here for a while but I am leery after seeing there is no hand soap dispenser in the "Employee Only" bathroom. Also, $4 per street taco is not a good value for what I I saw the customer receives. No thank you!

我来这里快速吃了一顿,一切都相当不错。基本上,一家好吃的墨西哥小餐馆该有的这里都有----美味的菜肴、高效的服务、极高的性价比,以及友善的员工。 Was here for a quick bite and everything was pretty good. Basically everything you would expect from a good Tacquiera - tasty dishes, efficient service, very good value and friendly staff.

Street tacos are so flavorful and filling! Free chips and salsa was an added plus! Have beer and wine! Service was phenomenal

My first but certainly not last visit here! I am in the neighborhood and have been missing some good Mexican Food here and with fresh salsas made in house delicious. Definitely want to try the sopas very soon- maybe tomorrow! The aqua frescos taste fresh as well I am trying the mango tonight. Friendly service from Johanna and the ambiance is like a small cafe or taquería. Well it's the 4th of July! The only thing I can think of celebrating is our dear neighbors so I went back today to try their Menudo. It was delicious and one of the best I have had it SF- it came with all the fixins in a large steaming bowl and I spent at least 90 minutes plus enjoying my soup! Can't wait to try more dishes here!

Aguachile packed for take out. Look how well it was packaged... no leaks in my to go bag! Perfect!

Low carb diet I got the Aguachile verde! It has a whole lotta of avocado cucumber and shrimp! The red onions and the verde sauce give it a great crisp bite (like a good vinaigrette)! Perfect after workout food! Will try the Torre de Mariscos next time with shrimp and Octopus ! The portion is HUGE! Like 6-8x the size of what you'd get at La Mar! Reminds me of Cabo San Lucas! I ate a 1/3 of this Aguachile and I'm like full! If you want to take out but don't want to head downtown... this is so convenient. It's on the corner of Fillmore and Lombard!!!! It's nice to be nice. And it's nice to eat awesome Aguachile while adhering to my diet!

Loved this place. Happened to be walking nearby and saw it. The inside is clean and uncluttered. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I had a question about the refried bean (are they made with beef lard) and the gentleman working the register asked multiple people in the kitchen to make sure that he had the right information. He was very patient as I went through the menu. Food was fresh and delicious. Portions were very good. I got the regular shrimp burrito and it came with chips. It was more than enough food for 2 meals and there was a lot of shrimp in it. The staff was very generous with salsa. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to people.

The most absolute terrible embarrassing Taqueria that I've ever tried. Cold meat and absolutely raw tortillas!!! they honestly do not give a shit how they're still in business is beyond. For being at the corner of thousands and thousands of people hanging out no wonder they can not get anyone in the door

The atmosphere is fun a little Ely. There are light and colorful murals of Kateinas inside and out of the restaurant.

Yum! Hard to find good Mexican food in the Marina District. This place was great. Only reason it wasn't rated 5 was that it took 30 minutes for food to come out. I definitely recommend if you are in SF and looking for a good Mexican meal!

This is the second time I ordered the 'surf and turf' burrito bowl. The prawns and carne were seasoned perfectly. The beans were fresh, not mushy. The bowl is a generous size. Order the special (sour cream, guac, lettuce) minus the cheese and thank me later.

    All gone!

Best Pozole in SF! As great as my grandmothers. Also the service was great. Must try if you are in the area. The vibe was cool.

Daniel took care of us and recommended a pasta that ended up being one of the best dishes we had. His thoughtful recommendations, genuine hospitality, and warm personality elevated the entire evening and made it a truly memorable experience. The seating is spacious and sectioned off rather than one large open dining room, which allows for different arrangements and a nice sense of privacy between groups. The downside is that this layout seems to leave patrons on the right side, behind the wooden partition, nearly forgotten. We were handed our menus and then left alone for almost 15 minutes without anyone circling back to take our order. When we finally did order, the servers brought dishes to the wrong table and couldn't keep track of who had ordered what. That said, the food, atmosphere, and location could easily make up for it, I would consider coming back if I had to return to San Francisco.

Rooster & Rice is a chain with multiple locations serving up Khao Mun Gai (or Thai style chicken…read morerice), but my most recent order with them really fell flat. I ordered "The Original" with jasmine chicken rice, extra cilantro, cucumber, chicken skin (love that those are free add-ons), and an egg, and while the bowl was fine, all of the flavors felt like they could've been amped up several notches as everything leaned pretty bland and one note. I even swapped in the ginger scallion sauce, usually my favorite with Hainanese chicken, but it still fell flat and didn't bring the dish together the way I'd hoped. The dark meat was okay, if under-seasoned, but the breast meat was honestly pretty rough as it was extremely dry to the point where I was chasing each bite with water just to get it down. I added the chicken spring rolls as well, which were poorly wrapped and fell apart after a single bite, and they used the same overcooked white meat, making them basically inedible. If this is the standard for their white meat, I really think they should either stick to dark meat or make it clear that dark meat is an option without an upcharge. That said, my order was ready right when I expected it to be, pickup was smooth, and the staff were very nice and friendly, which keeps this from dropping lower in rating as I'm likewise hoping this was just an off night.
