Mxt is pretty okay, but the bowls and salads were disappointing. My salad was very bland and really needed more flavor or seasoning. I took a few bites and didn't want to continue. The bread square that comes with the salads and bowls was also stale, so I didn't eat it. That was a bummer. On the positive side, the employees were friendly and welcoming. read more

I am so disappointed in MIXT today. Where to even begin? 1) I ordered my "Design Your Own Salad" with caramelized fennel, but instead they gave me caramelized onion (top left of the container). This is an honest mistake, but after I checked my salad outside and went back in to request the proper ingredient, they first denied the mistake, then charged me for the replacement (the small container on the left). It wasn't even worth the bother of trying to get it for free at this point. I've gotten salads there dozens of times and surely the folks there recognize me, so their insistence on charging me for something I'd already purchased was extra frustrating. 2) Brussels Sprouts were also part of my order. Do you see any? Neither do I, other than a few measly pieces dead center. Shrinkflation at its finest. 3) I'm dismayed that they are now using curly kale instead of baby kale. It is poorly prepared in that the stocks aren't removed so each bite comes with an obtrusive flavorless crunch that gets in the way of the flavor. 4) This comment is very much personal preference, but I strongly believe they should roast the squash in bigger pieces. Right now, the miniature size means the flavor is diffuse and there is never a satisfying critical mass of squash. Just a friendly suggestion. But all of these prep issues wouldn't matter if it weren't for the rudeness of the staff. I love MIXT salads but found the service to be very upsetting. They took no accountability and were collectively scornful. Two stars because the caramelized fennel is actually really good. read more

I ordered on the Mixt app where you can get rewards and got the Mandarin salad (I appreciate they don't call it Oriental lolll) which has fried chicken chunks, kale and romaine, orange, jicama, cabbage, and snap peas. You can change out items and customize as you like. It comes with a slice of bread and I ordered the chocolate cookie as well which was soft and hit the spot. You can also get the dressing on the side too. Pickup was easy - you just go to the shelf and grab and go. There is some seating there as well. read more

In my opinion, MIXT is better than Sweetgreen hands on. The salad feels more fulfilling and has more generous protein portion. They also offer crispy chicken as a protein to go with many salads which is pretty unique and neat. We ordered: - Peachy: Seasonal salad with crispy chicken, peaches, grilled corn, cornbread crumble, pickled red onion and carrots. Tossed with sriracha ranch dressing and maple bbq drizzle. It is one of the most tastiest dressing I have ever had and HIGHLY recommend everyone to give a try. - Crispy cauliflower as a side: The flavor is again fantastic and has that same amazing sriracha ranch dressing on the side. Dave's taco bowl is always a huge hit for me. I went right at 11:00am when they just opened and they filled my bowl up! The food was fresh and delicious! Really awful experience here. I simply needed to use their restroom and my friend had notified my prior to getting there that MIXT was allowing people to use their restroom as it was quite busy due to Santa Con happening in the area. I walked in with my friend towards the bathroom and a woman named Jasmine with a green headband and glasses immediately sprints towards us and says we need to purchase something. I kid you not she physically put her whole body in between the bathroom door which prevented me from closing it. I didn't mind and said I would purchase something after using the restroom but she immediately said no and told me I need to step out of the bathroom and purchase something first. I thought it was very odd that she was so aggressive but I wanted to be compliant so I went in line. Next thing I know the same lady is telling me the line starts on the other side of the rope, which was only 1 foot away, but she makes us walk through the rope. I definitely felt like she had something against us by then. I order my iced tea and she's extremely passive aggressive throughout the entire transaction. However, just when I finished paying, I notice other Santa Con goers were walking in casually lining up and using the restroom. Not once did her or any other employee stop them. So I bring this up to her and I ask why she isn't stopping them and her excuse is the customers aren't IN her bathroom. Just as she says this, they open the door to walk in and tell her they're walking in now and she deflects and instead asks why I'm yelling at her. Well that's blatantly obvious, because she didn't apply the policy to everyone so yes I'm upset. She then says "I don't have time for this" and walks away. Apparently she's the manager but it honestly left a very bad taste in my mouth and I've never been treated like this at any establishment ever. I really hope in the future if they're going to apply a policy, that it gets enforced to everyone. I didn't mind paying for a $3 drink, it was the principle. read more
