Hands down best vegan quesabirria, let alone vegan DISH i've ever tried. Let me just say, wow. I'm not vegan, but my best friend is. So I eat vegan food fairly often. Vegan food is actually quite great, but when we came to Las Matus, I was expecting the food to be good, but the food was way better than good. The food was amazing. The way the jackfruit was marinated, the consumé, the perfect amount of spice and seasoning... it was amazing. I got a side of rice for my baby to enjoy and he loved it! They're food is absolutely incredible (go to is the daring chikn burrito supreme with the hot salsa) and the people who work the truck are so nice. The prices are also very reasonable for a small vegan business and the burritos are HUGE. I also tried the barrilla tacos but I didn't like them as much. My fav protein is the BBQ chikn and my second fav is the jackfruit. Also get it with the chipotle sauce! I could eat these tacos every day! I haven't tried the hot cheeto "peato" burrito yet because of the cost but maybe one day. I only always get burritos at taco trucks, and I've been to a looot of taco trucks, a burrito veteran if you will. Burritos are probably my favorite food tbh, this review is based solely on the asada super burrito I had. As a Mexican, I grew up eating authentic Mexican food (shoutout to my mom) so you can definitely trust my opinion. Anyway this place was good! Better than a lot of other taco trucks in Stockton. First off, exceptional customer service. I got a super burrito asada (no onion or cilantro) it was tall and somewhat on the slim side compared to the usual but it was packed with just the right amount of everything and thats no exaggeration. The salsa is what i always look for in a burrito before anything else and it was good with the right amount of spiciness (I looove spicy.) The Asada had great flavor and they put a generous amount, the burrito itself had good flavor, it wasnt dry at all with just the right amount of yummy greasiness/juicyness (real ones know what I mean.) We had a food truck day at work and Las Maris was one of them. There was at least 8 different trucks to choose from. They all had a set menu and we got to choose one. Las Maris had their CHIK'N or Jackfruit street tacos or burritos. I'm a sucker for some street tacos, so of course I chose them. When I asked the gal which she liked best she told me the CHIK'N. They did not disappoint. Not only were they full of flavor, they were VEGAN! This was the best CHIK'N I've ever tried, and I've tried a variety. Tried out this truck because I'm looking for a food truck for a party. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. The food was very dry and unfortunately some orders were missing key ingredients. For example, all of our meals were missing any type of salsa and we ordered a few Hot Cheeto Burritos and they had no Hot Cheetos. The vegan food here is so incredibly flavorful, and the agua Fresca is perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. We drove out about 45 mins just to try it and it was sooo worth it! Stockton has always needed more vegan options, the food and customer service was a 10/10.

They're honestly not that good at all. I've ordered a few separate times and have been less than satisfied twice and pretty disappointed once. Don't waste your money on a Mari crunch or anything else. I've had my cheese burnt black and my food lacking salsa. There there is a taco truck a block away between the laundromat and the smoke shop that sells cheaper and tastier entrees. On my way home from work I saw this pretty pink taco truck parked on the corner of holman and mcallen. I decided to give it a shot, unfortunately their burrito was far from great. First off I aged a good 45 minutes waiting for my burrito. There were only 3 customers there waiting. With every ticking minute I thought this better be worth it. When I got home I ripped into it. That's where things got worse. On the 4th or so bite of this "burrito" with overcooked rice and overcooked meat. As I pull the burrito from my mouth out comes this dark black hair about 8 inches long! Mind you I have light brown hair about 3 inches long. At this point, I'm just done and tapped out. I should have gone to my true and trusted el grullito truck across the street from chase chevrolet. On the burrito scale of 1-10 this was a definite -4 yes minus 4! El grullito in my opinion is a solid 8+. Don't bother with this place. read more

MEAT has no flavor every bite I took had excessive amounts of fat. Salsa needs more salt and garlic taste just like tomato paste smh! Tortillas were soggy from how watered down the salsa was. Please consider adding more seasoning to the food! Mexican culture is full of spices and flavors you would want to share that with the world not keep them from it! read more

I honestly think the reviews on here are from people who know them personally. Fake reviews.. I'm writing this in bed sick from food poisoning or some type of stomach flu caused from this taco truck. I was with 2 people yesterday and none ate from here only myself and I'm the only one sick. On top of that they're food had no flavor and was very plain and just tasted weird. Very disappointed.
