This is my first time getting eyelash extensions and I must say that I love it! Booking an appointment was easy but you do have to book ahead of time because they often get book really quick. When I came into the store I was mind blown by how clean and bright the place was. I was greeted and told that I had to fill out consent forms ensuring the store policy. I had my lashes done by Hanh, we discussed what look and length I was going for and they turned out fabulous. I don't need to wear any eye makeup anymore. The process took about 2 1/2 hours due to top (mega volume) and bottom lashes. Hanh is so good at what she does and is supper attentive and detailed when it comes down to her work. I live 2 hours away and don't mind the drive. Worth every penny. Having these babies saves me a tremendous amount of time in the morning or whenever I need to get ready. Love them! Hanh and her staff are the best! They are all super talented and do an amazing job. I've gone to other lash artists in the past and none of them were as nice or made me feel as comfortable while getting eyelash extensions. I have sensitive skin and my previous eyelash extension place used a pretty strong smelling glue which stung and burned my eyelids. I was so worried about my eye health. For anyone in the Bay Area that is looking for a place for lash extensions, look no further! Hanh is seriously the best. I've been to a couple other places around San Jose (and believe me, there are plenty), but no one has promised me full volume lashes that would LAST ME A WHOLE MONTH and followed through... until Hanh. She took my sparse lashes and transformed them into something I am so in love with. I've gotten extra volume by Hanh for the past 4 months, each set lasting me 4 weeks before I started feeling uncomfortable with the gaps... I even pushed one of my refills a couple weeks, making the time between two appointments 6 weeks, and I still had lashes! Insane. Yes, I pay slightly more for each refill (~$120 for extra volume refills within 4 weeks), but I am incredibly happy with the work performed and love how long these sets last. I am one to find ways to make my life easier, and one would include getting lash extensions - and it's even better when I don't have to worry about setting up refill appointments once every two weeks... Oh, did I mention how FAST she is??? I get the extra volume set and know I will be out of there in under 1.5 hours. She is super sweet and very knowledgeable of lashes (she is accommodating and offers her opinion when you want to try something new). I trust her with my lashes, so I basically trust her with my life. Oh also - Love how her Instagram page tells you the exact work performed so it's easy to walk in and show the picture of the style that you want. I have just done my first session of microblading with Hanh. Not only is her salon beautiful, and clean, but the customer service is great. I truly enjoyed my experience there from the start to the end. I cannot begin to explain how much I love my eyebrows, and how amazing her microblading work is. She took so much time to perfect my eyebrows, and make sure I liked the shape, also showing me all of the measurements to ensure that each eyebrow was the perfect fit and matched 100%. I have seen Hanh many times now. She has done by eyebrows before and then my lashes. What I love about Hanh is that she takes her time and does not rush. When I got my eyebrows done over a year ago, she made sure I was happy with my shapes before she started the microblading. It has been over a year and I still get so many compliments asking where I got it done. I never even had to put any makeup to fill in the brows. Recently I started coming to her for eyelashes and she never failed. She is also very accommodating and cares to listen to your feedbacks. Her lashes somehow always last a lot longer than other places. My friend also goes to her for lashes and both of our lashes stay full for a good 4-5 weeks before they starts looking obviously shedded. Many other places start looking crazy after 2 weeks. Honestly, lashes by Hanh is the only place you should go for your eyelash extension. Because most Asians have short lashes, I could not find the perfect place where the lash artists made me feel that it was worth the money. I live near Brentwood and was not sure if I wanted to try lashes by Hanh, but since there were so many good reviews regarding her skills and comfortability of eyelash extension, I had to try this place. I had my lashes done by Hanh yesterday, and I'm am soooo happy with them. First, the studio is beautifully decorated, clean classy and everyone was extremely nice. Hanh's work is METICULOUS AND DETAILED!!!! She talks to you to see what what look you are going for, and asks about length, which I really appreciate. Most places I think only do a standard type of set and don't give you options. She really takes her time and is gentle. You definitely feel like you get your money's worth, as she really gives you soooo many lashes. And on top of it all, she is super sweet! This is my new go to place- hands down. Great experience from booking the appt to arrival and the whole lash extension session. It is a first class salon and I was really comfortable and started to have a asthma flare up but Gianna was very patient and attentive and made sure I was okay first and foremost. I started to have an allergic reaction to false eyelash glue a couple of years ago and I thought that will be the end of it for me! Luckily i found Hanh on instagram through a friend's page and let me tell you, she became the most important person in my beauty game! Im not blessed with thick or long lashes and ONLY Hanh can give me the look that I want. Im super picky and only like long and thick lash extensions that looks like falsies. I went to so many different places in San Jose and nowhere can give me the look that i want because they said my lashes are too thin, but only hanh can do it. The lashes that she used is so much better compared to other places and on top of that, her prices is decent and beats many places. So far I've had really good experiences with Cindy, Ivy & Thy! They were all very professional and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. All three of them were very thorough at consulting me with exactly what I wanted and I never left unsatisfied. They were all completely fine with the customization and extra requests I wanted without giving any complications or attitude and were happy to recommend what style/lash length would suit me best. Even though my eyes were closed during the service I could tell that they were making sure to be very precise and worked carefully at every detail. (I know this because I'm a cosmetologist myself and have taken a lash course & know all the steps and procedures!) The salon itself is really cute, chic and clean and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The beds are very sanitary and they offer pillows and blankets to ensure your comfort throughout the long service. After bad experiences at the previous lash place I used to go to I'm very happy I found this place and will be coming here from now on! Thank you again Thy, Cindy & Ivy! Dao has applied a full set of lashes for me on two different occasions. Her work is precise and excellent! She does detailed fine work that is a must in order to apply the lashes so they look natural. We talked about making the extensions look natural and she worked with me to find the right length and thickness so they look great for everyday wear. Her application technique was excellent and my first set of lashes (which didn't require any touchup) lasted 7 weeks. This time after 4 weeks I went for a touch up but it really didn't need much at all. The extensions didn't come off in the past month. Dao is kind and patient and wants to work with you to give you want you want so you walk out a very satisfied and happy customer. I highly recommend Dao if you want weekend appointments! read more

I had been wanting to get my eyebrows done for a while because they were uneven, not the full look I wanted, and I was tired of doing them every time I walked out of the house. After looking at Hanh's Instagram page I decided to take the leap. I was so impressed by the professionalism and cleanliness of the place when I first walked in. Hanh lead me back to the private room where she pencils the outline of your new brows on your face and begins her work. She was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable as I was very nervous doing this for the first time!! Hanh puts numbing cream on your eyebrows before she starts the microblading process and that helped so much - I could barely feel the work she was doing! I had heard stories of this being a painful process and I barely felt anything. Your eyebrows will take a few days to heal so make sure you don't have any big plans right after!!
