Our society condemns some people for owning guns and engaging in survivalist trainings etc. It was really nice to interact with some like minded people who helped me chose a really decent vest. I purchased my first firearm here. Today, I made a call to inquire about a particular process that required some very important attention. About an hour later, I showed up and Drew was there. Long story short, Drew took care of my needs in a quick minute. He even let me handle a potential "next purchase". I've been coming here for years, I bought one of my AR-15 billet lowers here and the guys were always cool and helpful. The last time in went in here in February it was a different story. One young chubby guy behind the counter and another employee were talking shit with another young chubby guy that seemed like he had nothing better to do than sit in a gun store all day and talk shit about an ex-employee. If it's the ex-employee I'm thinking of it their loss. He's a guy that exudes integrity, I thought the whole store did but I was wrong. I really enjoyed the large variety of useful products and gear. They have everything from military gas cans and ammo cans to meds, chestrigs/plate carriers, gas masks, rifles, attachments, clothing/packs and range accessories. So far the coolest dude there is Drew, he explained his prior service and experience with gear/firearms and helped me every time to pick what was good for me. Super friendly and helpful, explained the differences between products and what he would recommend for whatever budget and purposes, give him a raise. I bought my wife a .40 cal sig sauer here and the price was right for the quality. I tell my friends and the other people in the neighborhood to go check them out. The guys working there will explain things to you and help you find something that will fit your needs instead of trying to get you to buy their most expensive gun. They also have backpacks, wallets, boots, belts and other outdoor/survival supplies. I like going by here for their clearance section. They've had some high quality military type high strength clothing items that are great for doing things around the yard or outdoor activities. Called about body armor and stopped by on a rainy Sunday afternoon. I was greeted by Kenny at the door, and also by the owner Drew in the back of store. Both gentleman provided excellent customer service by sharing their personal experiences with body armor in the military and law enforcement. After trying on a carrier/plate combo, I found exactly what I was looking for at a price that was better than online, and more importantly I knew exactly what I was getting. I purchased a gun for protection and for sport. I have only shot a rifle in the past but didn't know anything about hand guns. I passed the test and background check, and these guys were extremely helpful and gave me some great advice. I go in there to buy ammo now, and they explain which bullets are great for target practice and which are better for self-defense. I will continue to go to this store. Inflated their prices on standard capacity magazines when the ban was lifted for a short period of time. PMAGs that normally run $8-12 online anywhere magically became $40 in store with these guys. Shame on them for exploiting their customers. Edit to the business response: It's actually called gouging, it's the same as if a grocery store raised prices on bottled water and batteries before a hurricane. You're exploiting your customers. You guys decided that making a small amount on a bunch of unsuspecting customers was what makes it worth it to you. Acting like you're accomplishing some great feat of capitalism is laughable. If that's where we're going, part of capitalism is voting with your wallet and mine isn't entering your store ever again. It's pretty obvious the level of customer service this business is capable of, which seems to be the same as a temperamental 3 year old. We've been coming here off absence 2019. These guys are really cool, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Every time we come in, they remember us. This place has some really cool things too. I honestly go in looking for props sometimes and I found some colored smoke grenades. Went in for the first time looking for a crush washer. They didn't have any on the shelves but an employee went in the back and grabbed one they use for builds. I looked around for a bit and went to pay but they told me not to worry about it. Great customer service as they def didn't have to do that.
