The biggest issue was the quality of the food. If you're going to charge around $15 for a breakfast, put a good-quality sausage patty on the grill. It doesn't take much to make a flavorful sausage gravy from scratch either, but this gravy tasted like it came straight from a bag or can and had almost no flavor. The biscuits themselves were actually pretty good, but pouring margarine over the top completely changed the taste. The sausage patties weren't very good and seemed like they'd been left on the grill too long. The fried potatoes were decent, and so was the sourdough toast. The staff was nice and working hard--they were extremely busy. There were a lot of people in line, so clearly plenty of people enjoy the breakfast here, and the place itself has an interesting atmosphere. The price didn't help. $4 for a Sprite is overkill. We had one breakfast with an egg, sausage, toast and home fries, one waffle, half an order of biscuits and gravy, and drinks, and the bill was over $40. At that price point, I simply expect better-quality breakfast ingredients. This is just our experience and opinion. The staff was friendly, and considering how busy they were, I give them credit for that. Maybe we'll give it another shot next year, but this time around, the quality just didn't match the price.

Lots of TV's to keep up with sports on. Now for the important part the food. Business lunch for four. Seated immediately and able to get a high top away from most do we could talk. It's lunch so teas and waters for all. Had fried pickle for an app and they were good. I had the shrimp house salad and it was large and fresh. Tea was cold and good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food so all was good.

The Caesar was slightly over dressed but the blackened mahi I got on top was cooked expertly and not too salty. The clam chowder is well balanced I like a lot of places where it's so thick your spoon stands up or the broth is nothing but thickened milk with no flavor. Potato chunks were a big big but clams were there so I was happy. We've gone early lunchtime on weekends both times and it's been fairly quiet with very attentive servers. The decor is nautical but clean and not cheesy and the tables and booths are comfortable.

My last meal EVER there was a DRY taco dinner. The tacos looked lovely in the ad, but what I got was a dry piece of chicken with some lettuce thrown on three skinny taco shells. No sauce, no avocado, there might have been some cheese, but service was invisible until the bill arrived. They offered me a scoop of ice cream to make up for the terrible meal and said "There should have been avocado on it." I give praise when can, and I'm seriously sad this place has taken such a fall from grace and the once-upon-a-time good food they used to serve.

As it was lunchtime I didn't want the entire dinner, so I ordered the brisket sandwich, expecting the same great taste I've come to know. However, this visit was hugely disappointing. They raised the prices again, and the brisket was very greasy and had A LOT of fat on it. And if this wasn't enough, the brisket had no taste whatsoever. One would think that at $16 for a brisket sandwich it would be a tasty item- but no! Therefore, Dustin's has lost a customer and I believe it's time to check out the Sonny's BBQ just down the road. Sorry Dustin's, you shouldn't have tried to save a buck by buying a much cheaper cut of meat!
