Wasn't busy at all in the restaurant Ordered six meals/sandwiches (2) Burgers (1) Chicken Parm dinner (1) Fettuccine Alfredo (1) Baked Scallops (1) Lasagna The Scallops, Fettuccine, Chicken Parm, and one of the burgers can out - waitress told us the other two items would be right out , our waitress just stood around and chatted with her colleagues - 15 minutes later the lasagna came out, still waiting on the other burger 8 minutes it showed up - the waitress told us they mixed up the tickets, the manager told us that the waitress never put the whole order in Service is terrible- that coupled with the 4% up charge for using a credit card This was my first visit and it will be my last As an adjunct to my review - the manager did knock off 50% on the total bill - But that doesn't make up for the utterly aggravating experience of trying to dine at this establishment - and the fact that they let you know on the menu that the prices listed are for CASH doesn't make up for the 4% up charge for using a credit card - it's a bad look - build in the 4% into your prices - a $20.00 becomes $20.80, hell round it up to $21.00 No one will care The only reason I updated my review is, the manager sent me a message pointing out that I neglected to mention the bill being cut in half - so now you have credit - you should really focus on the lousy service read more

Food and service were ok. waitress was also the bartender and busboy. Big problem was when the dog walked in. No one thought it was odd so obviously the dog has been there before. The man who owned the dog came in barefoot and helped himself to a water dish behind the bar for the dog. Even if he was the owner this is not right. Dog was not a service dog and roamed freely around the restaurant. I will never return to this place. So watch out when you are served. read more

I am famously lazy. There are two ways I go about reviewing. If I love something. Or if I hate it. Unfortunately despite glowing reviews it was atrocious. When it comes to pizza places with Italian I seek three things. Mozzarella sticks. Calamari. And pizza. They failed all three. The mozzarella sticks tasted bland, and the lingering sensation of unfinished batter or corn starch. Unfortunately as such starters are small, between my mother and I splitting them, they three and three, and us both starving, they were gone. The Calamari plate was secretly laced with breaded and fried banana peppers. About half the plate, I know this because I can't eat them. In every other Calamari experience I have had the peppers were visible and easy to pick around. Instead I was ambushed by what I believe to be a ring of squid. Finally, the over priced personal pan 10 inch extra cheese pizza which would run 11 dollars. It was bland sauce with too much oregano, and the cheese was blobs that didn't stick to the crust. In fact, trying to get through one slice, the cheese slid off and the sauce beneath slapped against and burned my chin. My mother and I were prepared to pay, despite completely being dissatisfied. However the waitress, who we had previously believed blameless, insisted we were somehow in the wrong. In fact she insisted the fried breaded banana pepper ambush was listed, and that they were famous for their pizza. All while maintaining she wouldn't give us a bill. So. Terrible food. Worse service. And from what little we consumed we already have indigestion. read more

This restaurant was not what I expected. When coming I was expecting a nice dinner after looking at the menu online. However this is not what I got. The two appetizers I got were mozzarella sticks and garlic bread. The appetizers were very good but a little small for a table/family. However going into the entrees I was very disappointed. First of all I got a Philly cheese steak and the meat was super super dry, and the cheese was pretty much missing. Not only that but I also found a hair in the sandwich. After putting that down I tried some of their pizza and it was just horrible. Some slices had not enough cheese some had to much cheese yet they must have used three jars of sauce on a twelve slice pizza. We've been going to Laurino's several times each year for about 25 years. It's a perfect Cape Cod, family restaurant. The food is good, the servers always pleasant and the price reasonable. Now if you are going there expecting the same food and service that you might receive at a Cape restaurant costing three times as much, you might be disappointed. This is a FAMILY restaurant with better than decent food, a wide variety of choices, all at a very fair price. OK, it's not the Mews, or Fanizzis, or the Oyster Company Bar and Grill, but its 1/3 of the cost. Its absolutely perfect for what it is. If you're going out for your anniversary, it may not be your first choice, but if you want a good meal, and fun with friends, you wont be disappointed. Go there! Wow, the pizza is phenomenal and the chicken bbq melt?!!! So much meat! Drinks and service were great. Perfect for a quick lunch considering we didn't do dinner so I can't comment on that. Just not a good dining experience. The Food was cold and not tasty at all. The fries where like cold McDonald's left in a bag for hours. We ordered a burger with cheddar cheese and it came with feta... how does that happen? And, they did not recook it. They scrapped the feta off and added cheddar. Terrible! Okay. Here it is. Food 4&1/2 stars. Never had a bad meal. But now, the owners have decided to save a few bucks and STOPPED TAKING CREDIT CARDS!! I have not returned since. I was there with a party. Amazing service! Our waitress was very friendly, attentive and made our experience wonderful. We tried the Big Mac Pizza (AWESOME) with a Miami Vice ice cold beverage, that drink my friends is summer in a pint glass. We stopped in for an early dinner - four kids and two adults. The pasta portions were huge and pretty decent (alfredo and a chicken penne dish). My husband ordered the chicken Marsala. When I asked him about it he said "somewhat Industrial." My daughter had a small cheese pizza and was pretty disappointed. In fairness, she is more of a fan of pizzeria style thin crust. I had a salad which is pretty hard to screw up. We sat outside under a tent and it was quite nice. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We came here based on a recommendation from a friend, and I can easily say we were quite disappointed. To start off, the service was poor, and our waiter in particular was fairly unfriendly. Laurinos use to be the best Pizza on Cape Cod but with quality cut backs by the owners it has become no better then a frozen pizza. It is sad that buying cheaper ingredients is more important then quality. Other foods such as sandwiches are poorly made. This is just poor management. Called to let them know they gave us no forks/knives for the salad and manager "Becky" was rude and argumentative. After we hung up, realized we were charged for chicken on the salads. Laurino's claims to be an Italian restaurant in Cape Cod. However, the decor inside definitely says tavern. As a few other people have mentioned, they charge a HEFTY 4% surcharge to use a credit card which is illegal. They offer a "no-fee" ATM which they own. Of course that doesn't stop your bank from charging a fee since it isn't your bank's ATM. Service was typical for the Cape; slow. My tortellini was good but the chicken part was tough. We came in with a group of 7 and when we asked him before our orders to split the check 3 ways he laughed and said "really? Can't u just do cash." He simply did not want to split it. Then when we order hot tea he then said "seriously you're going to make me get the teapot out." Thirdly, as we were paying, they flashed the lights in the room at us, and turned off the lights in the front and back(we were in the middle and would have sat a bit longer). Stopped in her for lunch on our first day up at the Cape. Overall not bad, especially for the prices. I got a pastrami "grinder" which is Capeinese for hoagie or sub sandwich and the wife got a spinach salad. Her salad was better than my sandwich for sure as it had heaps of fresh spinach, tuna fish, hard boiled eggs and tomatoes. Everything was fresh and crisp and the overall salad was a good size, very filling. My "grinder" was okay but this being the Cape they do not know how to cook pastrami. it was sliced paper thin and grilled which is a HUGE no-no. Any true pastrami lover knows it should be steamed. It also came with lettuce in it which was also a bit odd, but hey it was decent overall. The fires were great and so was the price.
