I wrote this to her: I am trying to get ahold of the owner to discuss the gift cards we were given Christmas 2019. Due to Covid, I understand that this business was closed for quite a while, also my mother is 80 and has had a hard time dealing with this backlash of normality due to the closures and restrictions from this unheard of worldwide pandemic. I am hoping that the owner will honor our gift cards - there are 2 - $45 gift cards that expired in 12/14/20 and I only can suggest that if we are given an exception to use these, then we will become new clients of this business and would appreciate being able to use this gift given to us from a family member. Tried this place twice - both times with Michelle. She cut me both times and made me bleed. She's the type to "oh no" her way out of actually apologizing for making you bleed. One time she even said "oh no, did I cut you?" while we both watch the blood ooze from my cuticle - how ironic is this rhetorical question... The first time I went to her for a fill, I asked for the ombre french. She used two powders - one white for the tips and one neutral tan for the base. The way she was going at it was not very ombre, but she reassured me she knew what she was doing. My nails came out clumpy and the "ombre effect"was not there...it looked like she put a clump of white play-doh on each of my fingers. I pointed this out and she said "it will be better next time, when it grows out"...o_O Silly me, it didn't make any sense but I went back to her because the salon is in my apartment building - I blame my bad decision on the convenience. Second time around, she messed up again and this time, she had one of the younger nail techs come assist me. The younger nail tech pointed out that because Michelle messed up with the white play-doh tips, she has to cover the stark white-ness with something darker (I wanted light tips). It took 24 hours for 3 nails to break. He rushed through my fill appointment and didn't even buffer my nails. I went back to get my nails fixed and they were extremely rude to me. I will provide an update once I go back today. I will never go back here again. All of the employees insist that it is my fault that my nails have broken however, I have been getting my nails done for YEARS nails should not break after 24 hours. It is not time for a new full set either. They did a terrible job and there is a reason they only have a few stars! DO NOT GO HERE! They are understaffed and provide poor quality. $25 is the normal price at an establishment Like this and they charge $30. I was greeted by the man that did my nails. I didn't get his name. He was very nice. I told him I just got engaged and I was getting my nails done to show off my new ring. He used a drill to remove my previous gel mani which I am used to having soaked off to help maintain the nail bed. He hardly trimmed around my cuticles and then when he applied the polish I knew it wasn't going to be a good experience. I won't be going back. Update: my polish is still on after a week and while the paint job is far from great, it's still on my nails. read more

I paid $90 for gel pedicure & manicure .... first of all the pedicure was sketchy. I was worried about cleanliness for my pedicure because the foot bowl looked dirty. I asked the nail tech why they don't use the bowl liners & I was told it's because of plumbing. And was also told that they use hospital grade cleaning supplies, blah blah blah. Totally understandable, BUT that doesn't mean you shouldn't make sure the bowl is clean before your customer. Anyways she cleaned out the bowl for me before using it. But I should have took that as a red flag because I should not have to tell you to clean your foot bowl. Moving on to the manicure ... it's day two & my polish is messy AND it's already cracking ??? Idk if people come here for a specific service but I will not be back because I really could've did this myself. read more

The worst mani/pedi I have had. I chose to get my nails done to clean up my cuticles and get a fresh coat of nail polish on my toes. I upgraded to the deluxe pedicure because there was a 10 minute foot massage included, and she did not massage at all. She told me I was done and to pay at the front, and that was the end of it. I don't have colored polish put on my fingernails, so I was there to tidy up cuticles and make my nails clean and fresh. She didn't do anything at all! The girl seemed to not soak my nails enough and had to use a tool to take the polish off, fine. When I went to pay I was charged $30 for a gel manicure which I didn't realize until I looked at their prices after I had paid. Didn't make sense since I did get gel polish put on my nails but again, whatever. Went home and realized there was still left over polish on my nails and 2 nails have snagged and I've only just left the place 1 hour ago. Annoying honestly. Services Done: Spa Pedicure & Dip Nails Pros: - They have wine and they don't water it down - They always have availability - They have a large dip nail color selection - They didn't charge extra for not having nail kit Cons: - My Pedicure was essentially a polish change and cuticle cut. - The price went from $25 dollars to $30 while I was sitting there. - During my manicure she started using a dirty cuticle trimmer. - All of my nails are misshaped now & uneven. - For a regular manicure and pedicure the price is $40 I wanted the dip manicure and my total was $75. When I asked why it was $35 more for dip (poorly done dip) she couldn't really answer. I've never paid $45 for dip at any salon I've ever been to and this salon was certainly not worth it. The staff was nice, I appreciate that they got me in quickly but be prepared to over pay and to not love your nails. read more

One for my pedicure, she spent a lot of time on my feet witch I really appreciated, but then the next day the polished chipped and she didn't cut the big toe after i asked her twice. Truly the worst place to go they have attitudes they don't take their time I mean if you can't even put gel nail polish evenly on peoples nails it's crazy to me. Been here several times, but i will never come here for mani again. I got cut up so bad, it's been day 3 and my cuts has finally calmed down. I have a very deep cut under my nail as well and it hurts very bad. She used a nail buffer and did not pay attention to how rough and close she was to my cuticles, she then used a nail filer and cut me up pretty bad. I bled on all 5 fingers and she just acted like nothing happened! Shame. Other than the accident, it's very clean. The owner and her daughter is very nice and professional. read more

That's the gel polish that is peeling off my nails. I'm not doing anything crazy. I'm not doing manual labor. I'm not by heat there's not reason for this to happen. Not good at all. Paid way to much for mediocre nails. It's not just one nails it's all nails. Super frustrating. I've gone to this shop 4 times ( 3 by myself and the 4th with my bff). At this point, I only have myself to blame . Of the 3 nail techs, 2 are really sweet however each time either of them have done my nails there was paint all along the sides of my fingers. It's mad uncomfortable having to ask them to clean it up because they pretend they don't see the black nail polish and attempt to "conclude" the service. The 3rd nail tech is the one that can do the "more intricate" designs. Which is nothing at all. She's pretty rude and will just about turn down every design I ask for. When I say "design" I literally mean I asked for 3 small dots on my nail with black polish and then covering the 3 dots with chrome finish. She creates this long story as to how I shouldn't do chrome, no one in the city can do what I'm asking for. Blah blah okay. But today specifically was just annoying. I went in for a regular degular gel manicure with solid black polish. She began painted my nails with this crackle black and colored flakes. When I told her it wasn't solid black she told me I was seeing things and I should wear my glasses. I wish I took a pic to show yall but lolol. Her overall tone is pretty condescending so much that I'm leaving my 5th yelp review ever to add to the other piss poor reviews for this shop. The last time I came to this shop, I got (yet again) a solid black gel manicure. 5 mins leaving the shop the black gel began to peel and smear. My bff made me walk back and ask that they fix it. My fiancé wanted to pick out a white nail polish at the beginning and the nail tech said that it wouldn't go with her skin tone...first red flag! The gel shellac that my fiancé ended up going with was supposed to last for two weeks and two of her toes have already had the finish nail polish fall off. In addition to that, my water was ice cold and my fiancés water was so hot that she couldn't even put her feet in the water. I'll let the photos from my gel manicure today speak for themselves, but I should at least give a summary of why this place earns a 1-star review: -I had to ask repeatedly for the nail technician to remove my old color. She kept skipping areas and leaving the nail bed rough with the old shellac in spots. -She cut my cuticle so deep that I started bleeding. -The photos reflect what the technician thought was an appropriate gel manicure. I disagree. I have paint on my skin, the ends of the nails are still jagged, and there's a chunk of top coat missing from one nail. How Lavande didn't see this, much less care to provide better quality service in the first place, I'll never know. But for the price, you're better off elsewhere! read more

Fabulous! My nail technician, How, was careful, friendly and funny! And it's not just the complimentary wine talking! He listened to what I wanted and checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Many nail salons I have been to pretend to listen and just hack my nails off while I suffer and can't wait to get outta that chair. This place was a breath of fresh air! My feet look and feel amazing, and my pocketbook isn't hurting too bad either at $30 for a GOOD, relaxing pedi. They have a shellac-pedi combo deal, but I work with my hands too much so I just went with the pedi. Salt scrub and mud mask did the trick for me! I'll be back. read more

The way I show someone she is special to me, I bring them here for pedicures. I've been coming here since 2015. It used to be better, more lively, more friendly. Now, it's sadly a ghost town. It's not covid-19, it's the staff. I just had my worse experience ever there. I made two Deluxe Pedicure appointments last Friday for my friend and myself. When we arrived, we were not greeted friendly, even though the entire place was empty. The two staff (the older guy, and the young brunette), did not seem to want to service us. While all the chairs were empty, we were directed all the way to the back. Stood there for moments while they spoke to each other in their language and slowly and unenthusiastically put on their gloves. My foot bath water was borderline cold. No colored soaking salts were added. Had to ask for hotter water, which they brought from a tea kettle (boiling water). Had to ask for the water jet, in which the plastic lining got caught in the drain. My pedicurist started five minutes behind her partner (the older guy - who I didn't want because he cuts too deep, and too quickly and it bleeds and hurts). This chick was the worst service I ever had in life. She barely wanted to touch my feet. My favorite part, the hot towel wrap. The towels weren't hot. Told her to skip up and catch her partner. And get this over with. Told her for the first time ever, I regret coming here. Not going to pay for a sorry ass deluxe pedicure with horrible service by someone who seems to think I have the plague. See how my feet look five days later. Tried calling and leaving a message, the mail box is full. Tried to be a lady and tell the owner straight up, but no answers. I won't be back. This place used to carry a high 4+ rating. Don't think they will make it after this is over. Sorry staff, will be the downfall. DO NOT GO HERE! Worst pedicure experience of my life. My nail tech was a middle aged man who was rude from the start. He cut me and made me bleed, I winced and had to pull my foot away from him and he didn't even apologize. The paint job was globby and all over my skin and cuticles. When I asked him to fix it he refused and put the top coat on. I was beyond angry and physically hurt at this point when he asked me to pay him $30. He refused to work with me to make the situation better, and when the owner came to assist he walked away saying "you deal with her, I'm done dealing with her" WOWOW! First I would like to say I was searching for a nail shop at 5:30pm on a Sunday, and saw that this shop was still open and would be for another 2 hours. I called to make sure that they would accept a walk in at this hour the lady that answered the phone was very polite and set an appointment for me to have a pedicure and full set. Upon arrive google maps did a terrible job I had to call the shop and be guided in the lady on the phone was still very pleasant this lady I soon would find out to be was Michelle whom did my nails. The pedicure was done by Lynn. I am not a person who is into the messages but tonight after a weekend full of children Marvel University I was definitely enjoying the rub down. She was excellent she took her time on my feet and I can say by far did the best job on my feet I have had done in a very long time. I did shellac a nude glitter on my nails which they had the matching toe nail polish for since I didn't want to do shellac on my toes. Michelle did my nails and she did a BEAUTIFUL JOB she was very polite during the process. When visiting Oregon again I will definitely be returning my business they are perfectly priced in a nice area of town I would refer them to EVERYONE! read more

Super clean, friendly, and professional. It honestly might be one of the best nail services I've had. Period. My pedicure massage lasted 10minutes and I didn't feel rushed.
