First they make you "check-in" for an account with your phone number on this device. Entrance is deceiving. It is nice until you get to the back. It's outdated, crowded, and cluttered. The spa chairs were so old the wood finish was all scratched up along with no back support left. I did a basic pedi for $38, $7 for gel removal, then $20 for gel. $65 TL plus tip. It was a very fast pedi, they did the leg massage part first which was odd, then a quick gel polish. I was not happy the filing drill they used was not sanitized in the autoclave when they removed my gel polish. :/ I was in a pinch and took a chance going there and will not be returning. read more

I have been coming to Lavendar Spa since 2007. I have always had an amazing experience. All of the ladies are so nice and love love the owners. I am so hard on my nails and they do an awesome job. I have been going to Lavendar Spa since 2014. The always did a great job and were very friendly. During Covid, I paid $40 for an acrylic fill with gel polish. After covid, they raised the price to $50. Today I went and the male owner told me that it is now $58 for an acrylic fill with gel polish. When I mentioned I only have paid $50 in the recent past, he told me that I had not and it was $58. I came home and looked at my credit card statements and yes indeed, I have only paid $50. SO, I will not be going back there. Forget the fact that he argued with me, the cost of doing your nails there is exorbitant. I will tell everyone I know to steer clear. I spent time calling around and Lavender Spa prices are incredibly higher than other nail salons. They are certainly not worth it. read more

We have consistently had an excellent experience. My husband and I go for our "date nights" and it never disappoints. The facility is clean, we never have to wait, and all the staff is friendly. I especially appreciate I never feel they are rushing. It's definitely a relaxing visit. read more

I have given this place try after try because it is so convenient given its proximity to my office. Every time I go, I thoroughly enjoy my experience. It's a beautiful, clean salon, and so relaxing; however, every time I leave I am disappointed with my nails. The last SNS manicure I had cost me a fortune and was awful! My nails were messed up in multiple places and within a week and a half were already pulling up around the edges. I actually removed every single nail by myself with nothing but my other nails, which I have never been able to do before with SNS. I vowed I would never go back after that last experience. From the outside this salon looks great but this is not the case. i went in asking for a fill in and they sat me down and started taking off my old gel polish. In the process the lady doing this drilled so far down that she started drilling at my natural nail. i brushed this off because I didn't want to be petty and maybe she was new. Then I asked for coffin (and was charged extra for coffin) and I got rlly poorly shaped square nails. i was frustrated at this point but was too far in to tell her to stop. Then when I told her what I wanted sne told me it would be $20 extra for the design. I was asking for a very simple French tip. I understand charging for a elaborate design but $20 extra for a French tip is insane. I payed $85 and one already fell off. My friends are also already chipping. i haven't even had them for three days and I haven't been rough on them. Very disappointed. read more

The worst!! I have never had this kind of worst experience anywhere prior. you should not trust this place for eyebrows. what kind of rude employers in front desk and nobody cared about the mess they made to ruin my look of my face by removing the curve of my right side brows in the name of clean up. The lady handed a mirror and she blocked my eyes using her hand to pluck the hairs when I asked for threading. Finally she blamed me for seeing the mirror. I don't think it makes sense to me while nobody ever could see when someone blocks the vision and Especially with plucking the hair from brows. It was so unfair to see someone left the place and the store immediately by taking day off after ruining my eyebrows. front office person was rude and told me that nobody in that place know how to fix it and not to come back if she did not like the service. She quickly asked other person to check me out and left inside. I'm not quite sure how these people can be employed in the business which needs most care for the public. no apologies asked for ruining my eyebrows. I would like the owner and people around should be aware of this. don't ever trust this place for eyebrows and I'm sure they don't know what they are doing. My Mom was in town and wanted a facial. Lavender is a local spa and I wanted to give them the business, What an awful experience my Mom had!!! The man, I think Scott, only wanted to wrap her shoulders in hot towels which my Mom told him she didn't like. She said, please work on her face....it's a facial! He wasn't interested in anything my Mom had to say from the steam being too intense or that her face was hardly touched! She was visibly upset when he finished his 35 minutes of nonsense! $75 for one of the worse experiences at a spa! Then the man stood there waiting for a tip...told him no tip for you. The salon also stinks from toxic nail and acrylic dust I shouldn't have paid....if you ever have a chance to get a facial there....keep driving, the facials are a rip off!!! read more

This was my first visit at this nail spa. I love the atmosphere in this nail salon. It is like an upscale spa, but don't let that fool you. I had one person giving me a manicure and another person doing the pedicure. I must say the woman that did my pedicure did a great job, but my manicure was terrible. I didn't realize until I left the salon and got in my car how terrible it looked. She didn't trim my cuticles very well and the nail polish was painted on my cuticles. She also didn't trim my nails to make all of them the same length. She was extremely lazy!!Since I didn't want to go 2 weeks looking like that , I went to another nail salon and had it corrected. I definitely won't be back to Lavender nail spa. I see now why their reviews are not so good. read more

The bad: You must pay $10 extra for callus removal for basic or the upgraded pedicure option. My daughter and I were crowded and pushed to our seats before we were ready to pick our colors. We asked for a few moments to decide on colors to no avail. They were not busy or crowded. Very unfriendly staff and manager. The good: our gel manicure and regular pedicure look very nice. I went to this salon for the first time on Friday with the rest of my best friend's bridal party. The decor was nice, but I had the most expensive Mani/Pedi of my life! I don't mind paying for something that lasts, but this mani/pedi was the wost quality. They nicked my cuticles and made them bleed. I asked for rinestones on my nails, and they gave me a line of silver glitter polish. Then, they charged me $60 for a Basic Mandi/Pedi with french polish. They were supposed to give us each $5 off for being part of the bridal party, which they did not do. By the next day (the wedding day) most of the girls polish had already chipped. The white part of my french manicure is turning yellow, and it's only been two days. This place is an absolute rip off, and a total waste of money! I would never go back there again. read more

Lavender Spa is now offering hair salon services. I used Mai Doan for my hair color and was very pleased. Her training in London and NYC were impressive. I also use Lavender Spa for fill in and pedicure. While I am there, they shape my eye brows. Lavender has a lot of services. They are a full Spa Salon. I love the atmosphere. I love Lavender Spa and Nail Salon. The entire staff is so welcoming and friendly. I am picky and have been to several salons in the area, and Lavender is hands down the best. They are quick (can get in and out in an hour for mani and pedi) and their work LASTS!! I usually go back every four weeks for gel polish and pedi and have never had an issue with peeling or chipping - other places, I have to go back every two weeks!! I have no time for that! This is an upscale nail salon that also offers massage therapy and a few other services. It is very well decorated and appealing to the eye. The ambiance was very relaxing. My daughter and I received mani-pedi's. There were 2 people working on her at once and 3 working on me at once. One tech did the pedicure and the other 2 techs were at each hand. Quickest mani-pedi ever which is great if your in a rush. But if you want to just lay back and enjoy a good foot rub, well.... not so much. I've had better experiences for much less $$$ but it was a nice experience and really was super quick. My daughter (kids are kids) ended up messing the polish up on 2 of her toes. They quickly repainted them. They didn't seem thrilled about it but were not rude. read more

I had a standard manicure and pedicure at Lavender Spa and it was by far the worst experience I've ever had. For $35 plus tip I basically got someone to put polish on my nails. It took all of 20 mins for both services. I do a better job myself. Totally not worth their crazy prices. My friend got the "Spa" service and paid $72 plus tip and it was no better than the standard service I received. Total rip off!! read more

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I'm from California and was thrilled to find such a quality spa hidden away in south Charlotte. Those previous reviews were the complete opposite of the experiences my friends and I have had a lavender spa. And we've been regular customers for 2 years. Yes, their high-end luxury services are slightly more expensive than other small nail salons, because they are a SPA. They offer the express mani/pedis at a cheaper price that doesn't include all the pampering and paraffin wax etc, but my nails look GREAT, lasts 2 weeks with shellac paint, and i still got a nice massage - maybe because it wasn't so busy, they could spend more time on me. Regardless, i think if you tell them what you want, they would willingly and happily cater to you needs. I highly highly recommend this beautiful, relaxing spa to everyone!! read more

Went here to get a simple French mani pedi and they said to come back in an hour. Came back in an hour and they acted like I never came in and let people that had been waiting for much less time than me get an appointment. They showed no sympathy toward the fact that I had been waiting for over an hour and told me it would be another forty minutes even though they closed in a half hour. Very poor customer service. I had gone there before and they did a great job on the nails, but the people doing the nails would only talk to each other in a different language. I will start off by saying that the reason that I picked this nail salon is because of the positive commentary regarding the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. WRONG. I don't believe I have ever been greeted with such lack of connection and customer service. This is a beautiful spa with GREAT potential. I liked the separate lobby where you sign in prior to being back to the spa area. However, don't make me ask for a beverage, and in this day and age, all nail salons that are going to charge the prices that Lavender Spa charges, wine and champagne are a necessity. Both of the technicians that worked on my friend and I neither greeted us, never asked if we were comfortable, and for me, literally yanked and pulled at my toes and hands without any sort of care in the world. It was a really uncomfortable situation. The outcome for me was subpar. In addition, a guy not getting any polish or any other treatment should not be paying the same as his female counterpart who received polish on hands and feet, that's a no brainer. The setup and layout of this salon is great, with lots of potential. However, a building means nothing with people that don't value their customers and make them feel comfortable and appreciated during their visit. NEVER get your eyebrows threaded here!!!!! I came because if the good reviews buy was highly disappointed! First, I told the lady that I wanted to keep my same and just have it cleaned up. She said yes and showed where she would thread. To my surprise, she actually tweezed my eyebrows first and then did some threading. She kept breaking the thread about 4 or 5 times. It was quite painful. When she showed me the end result, my eyebrows were shaped like her's, very different from my pattern I had and to what we agreed. After I left, I noticed blood on my brows and in a few days had blood scabs on my eyebrows and lids. It was horrible!!!!! I tried emailing the salon to let them know, but the email was returned. I would never go back there!!!!! Be aware! Threading there is a health hazard! read more

Best salon and spa in Charlotte by far! So much more than a nail salon, my spa services were amazing too! Extremely clean and very relaxing environment. Been back many times and tried facials, massage and lash services and could not be happier with the services I received here by all the staff. I have been to hundreds of spas and nail salons in my life and have never written a review of any kind but felt this place deserved recognition for their outstanding service after some of the reviews I read. I can't imagine anyone having a bad experience here as all customers I have seen while I was there seemed very pleased as well. I will never go anywhere else in Charlotte for salon or spa services. The first time I went for eyelash extensions I waited 30 minutes - I was not pleased however, I did like the results although I had nothing to compare it to. I was there today for a 5:00PM appointment and was asked if I could wait another 30 minutes or so - NO - I couldn't. They also lost my paperwork. Horrible service -will NEVER go back. Two other customers also walked out after being told they had to wait an hour for a pedi. That's three customers who will not be returning. read more
