I thought I would take the opportunity to get a pedicure while I was there. I walked in & asked if they had time for a pedicure, the employee looked me up and down before telling me they wouldn't have anyone available until 4pm I understand if you're booked & if the sign had said appointments only, I wouldn't have went in. What bothered me was the way I was looked over & the dismissive way I was spoken to. It felt rude & made me feel unwelcome. I normally look very put together, but it was Sunday morning and I was running around trying to get things done. Regardless of how a customer happens to look when they walk in, everyone deserves to be treated courteously. I simply expected a friendly response, especially from a business advertising that walk-ins are welcome.

She should not be licensed to do nails let alone say she offers Russian manicures. Huge waste of $110. She did not care one bit about the integrity of my nails :(

The nail tech was nice and worked quickly... too quickly. They didn't trim my cuticles or the skin around my nails. I asked for an ombré nail design, which is shown on their menu and provided a picture of the exact colors I wanted. Another nail tech came and took my phone to pick colors out and just started painting them on some of my nails before the original tech had even put gel on them. It was very odd... the second tech was rushing the first and was honestly doing a sloppy job. The color ended up being super off.. it was a Christmas tree green instead of a blue- teal color. I don't blame her for that, the bottle looked like a different color than the paint. They were also streaky and completely see-through. She asked if I liked them and I told her those things, and she told me the reference picture was see through too (which it was not-I added the reference) but she still redid them which I appreciated. I picked the new color myself, which matched the reference pic more and also wasn't see-through which was way better. The airbrush was having issues, which I could tell was super frustrating to them which sucks. But they just seemed to not really know how to do it very well. They finished and rushed me out quickly without cleaning any of the gel of my skin. With airbrush they usually wipe the paint off the skin before curing it so this doesn't happen. Now it's been a real pain to try to get off. They also did not clean up the sides of my nails, which were all jagged. I had to do a full nail clean up when I got home. Thankfully I have all the stuff at home to do that. The only reason for 3-stars is that the gel x nails are properly applied and should last. Overall I was not impressed. As a new client who is paying good money (and extra for a nail design) I expect some level of care. Also now knowing how to do a proper gel manicure, it's so obvious when they cut corners and rush (no nail/cuticle prep or clean up, only one layer of paint). And maybe don't offer a service (ombré) if you aren't confident in it or don't have properly working equipment. I wanted to do something nice for myself but ended up having more of a headache in the end, and had to pay my hard earned money for that headache.

I often get gel acrylics regularly , but I also tried my first lip and eyebrow waxing here and it went amazing as always! When it comes to their customer service they are always outstanding and go above and beyond! The artistry and attention to detail here are next-level, and my nails consistently come out beautiful, strong, and perfectly shaped, and they last incredibly long. I come in about once a month, and I'm genuinely excited every time to see what fun, creative designs we come up with together! Huge shoutout to Tina and Mimi, they are absolutely amazing. They do a great job. One of the best especially for the cost. Their acylics are AMAZING! I've gotten my nails done like everywhere and I have seen nowhere that does it as good as this place. So if you're looking for that, DEFINITELY try this place out!! It's also who you go to. Every nail salon has their good manicurist and bad ones... I've always come out satisfied. Its kind of like a cheers... a lot of people have been going there for years. Every time I go there people are chatting it up. I've been going here with my mom and friends for 3 years now... even my dad comes at times!!! I always recommend it to my friends. My favorite nail spa in Thousand Oaks area, I used to frequent top nails but did not appreciate my "fast food" style service. They have a clean shop and really listen to what you want. My daughter wanted artwork on her nails and they had two separate people complete her manicure in order to get the best nails/design! The nail art is amazing here! Wonderful pedicure and parafin hand treatment. I will recommend this place to anyone looking for a CLEAN, friendly, reasonably priced nail salon. I had the decadent pedi. The technician massaged, cleaned, trimmed, painted and added some fancy nail art to my toes. I had a parafin treatment on my hands that also included a massage. She even knew I had some pain in my hands and gave me some additional pressure in my hand massage, my hands have never felt better! read more

Nick did my pedicure, and my husband and I both got the "Royal" set. It was honestly one of the best pedicures I've had. The staff was so friendly, the attention to detail was amazing, and the overall experience was incredibly relaxing. I also have a painful ingrown toenail on my left big toe that most salons struggle with, but Nick was so gentle and careful. By the time I left, I had little to no pain anymore, which was such a relief. Highly recommend this place!

It just seemed like they kept ordering her around and all of them could've easily gotten up and gotten the polish their own client wanted. Because they kept ordering her to do things she kept walking away from her own clients, one of them was me, to go and do things for other clients or for other staff members. After waiting a long time, I finally just left and never got my manicure completed.

I advised the lady I did not like that color, and she was not happy, so the tech male next to her asked to do it, for me, but didn't look happy; he looked like he was bothered to even change the color. All I gotta say is this salon lost 2 customers today, just because they were rushing it. We gave them pictures of what we wanted, and they were completely different. I will post the pictures to see. At the end of the day we chose to come here thinking we were going to be treated how we always were before. SERIOUSLY. DO NOT GO HERE…read more I received painful cuts on my fingers and toes, resulting in blood on my formal shirts, the night before a big tournament. The cuts became infected, I had to buy new shirts, and the business was rude and denied me a refund. As a student, this financial and personal impact was of note. I visited this salon for the first time the night before a significant event. While the initial welcome was friendly, two separate technicians significantly cut both my finger and my toe during the service. These cuts repeatedly reopened. During the visit, I was encouraged to get gels for durability, which I agreed to despite the additional cost. The following morning, just before heading to LAX for the competition, the cuts reopened. The gels, which I had paid extra for, began falling off my fingers. Blood stained my formal white shirts, leaving me no time to address the issue. My toe cut, despite extra precautions, became infected, causing significant discomfort during presentation. Despite voicing my concerns during the visit at the salon, I was still charged full price (minus the new customer discount). The entire experience left me deeply upset and anxious. Today, following up on their seemingly conciliatory Google reply, I called the salon to kindly inquire about a refund. The man on the phone was incredibly rude, dismissing my experience as "drama" and condescendingly telling me, "Feel free to keep your review up." Their Google reply also falsely claimed they "must have been very busy that day." This is untrue; I was the only customer in the studio that evening. I never received a refund or compensation, and was left to bear the costs, including new shirts. This is a terrible reflection on a community business. When a customer is cut (from sharp objects, leading to blood), while receiving a service, that of which fails immediately (gels fell off day of), and then very kindly requests a refund: a responsible business should offer compensation and basic human kindness, not dismiss their concerns. And please note: I am no Karen. Do not go here. Thank you.

She's funny and is very easy to talk to. I showed her a couple of reference pictures and she even helped me decide which shape & length I should go for since I was having difficulty figuring out which one I wanted. Alana is very knowledgeable of what's in and what's out of style.
