This year was my second year using lawn tech and I had no problem using them for the first year. However, this year has been a different story. I had the worst experience with the technician that treated the lawn. He lies about the time that he treats my lawn. I wanted to make sure to stay home to see what he was doing and within 5 mins, he was gone and of course, I still had whole lot of weeds coming out of my backyard. I would NOT recommend this place and please go with the different company if you want to save your lawn. read more

I am rather surprised that I am the first to review. I have been using these guys for the entire 13 years I have owned my house in Frisco. They are educated and informative. Prices are reasonable, and they always fulfill my requests without question. Customer service is pristine. I hope this is useful and everyone else receives the same approval. read more

I've been using Lawn Tech for many years and they do a good job controlling weeds and keeping the grass green. My costs are very reasonable for a year of service, and additional service calls beyond the scheduled treatments are included in the price. They always respond to my questions about a new weed that seems to pop up and also give advice about watering, managing the shade given by trees, etc. read more

They were able to get rid of 80% of my crabgrass but my yard has never looked worse. Most of the grass at the front of my flower bed is gone. Talk to them about it and they really didn't care. read more

This is the 2nd year we've used Lawn Tech. They have done a great job. Always polite and professional and unlike the 800 pound gorilla in the lawn care space in this area, Lawn Tech folks take to the time to talk to you and explain the process. Our yard is clear of weeds and growing nicely. Of course, our part in it is to water plenty and keep the trees trimmed well to let sunlight through. That was the deal and it works. read more

We signed up for 5 lawn treatments for $250. My wife didn't like the way the tech did something after their first visit, I don't remember what, but the guy comes out the next day and gives her a bunch of crap and tells her how knowledgeable he is and that she doesn't know what she's talking about. My wife is a small stature person and was intimidated by the guy so, I call their customer service. They gave me a bunch of excuses but no apology from the tech. So I let it go because I signed up for 5 services. I did not know that we only got 4 last year. So apparently we were due one more. So, yesterday doofus tech shows up while I'm raking leaves and parks his truck right in the middle of the pile of leaves while I'm raking. I call customer service to ask why he is here, told her I didn't know they were coming and I don't want their services anymore. She says, you signed up for 5 services so yes, you did know he was coming. Total disrespect. Who talks to customers like that? I do not recommend this company read more

They never showed up or called or emailed after two weeks of waiting. I would prefer a company who wants my business, or will at least extend me the courtesy of a scheduled time. When I spoke with them to see what is going on they said they would be there the next day. They still no showed and did not let me know. No thank you. read more

Moved in, in July of 2013, immediately contacted Lawn Tech for service since we had crab grass in our yard. After their service and my questions about the crabgrass, explained it was too hot for killing the crab grass and would need to wait until next spring to catch it. In the spring of 2014, reached out to them and they indicated it needed to be warmer to service. Contacted in July and the serviced it. Asked me to update them on progress. Sent them several photos and finally they sent technician out to service for crabgrass, again. At that time they advised me I needed to cut my grass regularly for service to work...by the way, I cut it weekly. Well, we had no improvement, so I did some on line research and sent it over to them. Got a lecture from them on my ignorance of lawn care. Finally, they told me that the chemicals they needed had just been outlawed. Interesting timing, at least I thought it was. So, I guess if you have no weeds and just need fertilizing they might be good. I wouldn't recommend them if you need any weeds curtailed. read more

Although it is very unusual for me to take the time to write a review I thought it necessary to not just write the review but also to be specific in the timing that I chose to write the review. I decided to use lawn tech just last season 2016 because my neighbor researched them as a great company who did great work. Although their pricing was a little higher than others I decided to use them to be consistent with my neighbor. The first lawn treatment worked out great. They were able to kill most all the weeds that were in my yard this was very impressive. Things didn't go bad until the second treatment. After the second treatment I was still able to see some weeds so I called them and they sent someone out to re-treat. Rather than spot treating the weeds, the gentlemen sprayed my entire Lawn. This tewatment caused my lawn to die and to remain brown for the entire season. I contacted my representative Mark Huber who was very defensive and dismissed the facts as my fault for not allowing them to continue the treatments. Although I I explained to him as a customer it's difficult to continue paying for service given the results that I was experiencing. He angrily explained I will refund your money for the second treatment the check is in the mail. Never receiving anytging in the mail after a few weeks I followed up with Mark who told me at the time that he was not going to send me anything I tried to contact the owner numerous times but received no response.
