An excellent place for brunch especially if you're staying at Park MGM. We made reservation, so we're able to get seated right away. I ordered the brunch deal, that provides a cute tray of fruit, tea sandwiches, pastries along with meat and cheese, you get to choose from a small but excellent selection of entrees and end it off with a dessert. The food was so good and filling, that I had to take half my entree and dessert to go. Along with brunch, I also went with the bottomless mimosas add on and our server always made sure that the table did not need another bottle. A place I will return to again. read more

First time staying at Park MGM, so I'm still not too familiar with all the restaurant options here. This morning, I was looking for something with a good broth. The main host in the lobby area wasn't very personable, so I was already a little hesitant. After looking over the menu, the only thing that really caught my attention was the corn soup. I decided to walk around the casino floor to see what else I could find. I wasn't in the mood for pizza or pasta, and I remembered Lala Noodles--but unfortunately, they're closed until mid-August. So, I made my way back to the lobby and decided to give this place a try. I ended up ordering the corn soup and a salad, along with their limitless mimosas. The soup was thicker than I expected, while the salad was plentiful. Everything was good, but at $80 for one person, it was definitely pricey for breakfast. The real standout for me was Manny, my server! He was extremely pleasant, personable, and attentive. He consistently checked on me to make sure everything was good, and his friendly personality really made my breakfast experience much more enjoyable. As far as the menu goes, it honestly wasn't very appealing to me personally. However, the restaurant was very busy, and it looked like everyone around me was enjoying their food, so clearly they're doing something right! Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. I made a reservation for seven people at 2:00 PM through the website, as that was the only available time slot. At no point during the booking process was it made clear that the restaurant closes at 2:00 PM. When we arrived promptly at 2:00 PM, the host immediately and rather aggressively informed us that the restaurant was closing and that everyone needed to have their orders ready as quickly as possible. After being rushed to our table, we were again told that the restaurant was closing and that we needed to hurry. The experience felt rushed and uncomfortable from the moment we arrived. To make matters worse, our steaks were overcooked, and we were made to feel unwelcome simply because we were the last party being served. I do want to recognize our server, who was polite, professional, and did their best under the circumstances. Not great service. My first experience at Primrose was so good that my group and I decided to come back again the next morning. We made a reservation for 5 for 9:00am. When we got in, we had no wait and were seated immediately. We were put in the section directly next to the bar. This section is decorated a bit differently from the main dining area. If you are sat here, you can expect it to be a busier and more crowded than on the other side of the restaurant. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits again, but this time with avocado. We got bottomless mimosas for the table too. The others at my table ordered some mixed drinks from the bar. The service this time around was nowhere near where it was the first time. After the drink order was taken, we saw our drinks sitting at the edge of the bar. Our server walked past them a number of times and never brought them over. For about 15 minutes, our drinks were sitting at the edge of the bar (that was directly next to our table) with their ice melting. When our drinks were brought to us, two people at our table placed additional drink orders. One of the drinks was brought to the table and we had to request the second one to be brought from the same bar area that the previous drinks were sitting at. When the food came, I immediately noticed that my Shrimp & Grits did not have the avocado I requested on top. The dish tasted fantastic nonetheless. Our table shared the Mediterranean Plate. We dined here during our stay at Park MGM and had terrific brunch. Place is so conveniently located near main check-in area and room elevators. Big dining area. We sat near the lobby bar, which offered gorgeous upscale vibe. Service was excellent. Our server, Shelley took really good care of us, so friendly and attentive. She took the time to explain the menu and provided some recommendations. Coffee was bold and strong which I needed after a late night of gambling. Both classic and special breakfast were delicious. Both eggs and potatoes were cooked to perfection. The special comes with a choice of pancake or waffles. We got waffles with berries, and it was yummy. Chicken sausage was a bit tough and underwhelming, pork sausage is a better option. The avocado toast on sourdough bread topped with soft boiled egg was beautifully presented and heavenly. Smoked salmon benedict brings lovely balance of richness and elegant, especially with hollandaise sauce because the egg yolk oozes and covers the smoke salmon. Truly satisfying! My only note is that they could be more generous with the berries on the waffles. The staff was friendly and the ambience is okay, nothing to die for. I came here with a group and it took us 2 hours to get out (with a reservation and getting seated immediately). It took well over an hour to get food, and a very very long time to order. The food was mediocre at best, and we compared it to Dennys quality with a high price tag. The dishes came out inconsistent. We had a few orders of eggs Benedict and the hollandaise on each of ours were of varying consistencies and amounts, depending on how long they'd been sitting under a heat lamp (I assume). My friend's was clumpy and mine was more smooth, for example. We didn't send anything back because of how painfully long it took the first time. The lattes were 80% ice. The steak and eggs were severely overcooked and could barely be cut with a knife. Many of the breakfast potatoes were severely undercooked. When we asked what was taking so long prior to getting our food, we were met with a "well I put in the ticket, I checked." Not an "I'm so sorry let me check" or a "it should only be a bit longer" or any other explanation that would actually make sense. It was a bit busy, but not so crowded that it should be this unmanageable, especially in a place like Vegas. read more

Excellent drinks, incredible food, good vibes, and a waiter who delivered beyond expectations. Carlos was hilarious, kind, and complimentary. I'm Asian and the busser thought I didn't speak English and repeated himself. I'm American and was extremely offended. Additionally the server was nice, but I had to remind him about my order. French Toast was unique. It was a huge loaf with Apple compote stuffed inside. Would I order it again.... NO! Too much bread, not enough compote. I had an amazing experience the last time I've visited that when we were staying at the hotel, I needed another meal here. Monday for brunch which was about half an hour wait. We checked in with the hostess to give our phone number and put our name down. Honestly we were going to just walk around and see what else was near. Ended up in CVS when we got the text saying that our table was ready. They give you a 10 minute grace period before your table is given away. We made it back in time and was informed to wait inside for our name to be called. There was three other party all waiting for a table. A couple minutes and we were called. The last visit, we were seated in the bar room next to the fireplace which was an amazing dining experience. This visit, we were seated in the main room. Table that looked out to the patio and pool. It was fine but not as cozy as the other fireplace table. Service was just whatever. Our waiter was nice. Starter off with a Bloody Mary. I don't want to sound redundant but it wasn't as good as the prior visits. It was just whatever. Same as the food. I had another salad, the Cobb. Nothing major, your usual salad. We also had the spinach artichoke dip. That was nice and tasty. Service was ok this visit. Drink was ok, nothing exciting . I guess my high hopes of the same dining experience was a bit too high. I do like the restaurant with the decor and all. The bar area is cute and open seating. But it wasn't quite the same experience as the last visit. read more

My husband thought his steak was rather tough, but I loved my chicken and waffles, very tasty. I do feel like the food was a tad overpriced, but that could just be because I'm not used to Las Vegas prices. The coffee was great, honestly probably the best part of my meal. But on the plus side, I only ordered one egg and one side of bacon but I did get five pieces of bacon for my order so I can't complain too much. The strawberry rhubarb French toast was pretty cool. Located near the Park MGM front desk, Primrose is easily one of the better breakfast and brunch spots on the Strip. I dined solo, so I only got to try one dish -- the Shrimp and Grits ($26) -- along with a greens juice ($11). I assumed the juice would be freshly made in-house, but it turned out to be a bottled Pressed Juicery product. The shrimp and grits were tasty and filling. The shrimp tasted fresh, and the grits had a nice texture -- not mushy at all. The décor is very pretty and would serve as a nice backdrop for your new IG post. On a weekday, it's easy enough to walk in, but I'd recommend making a reservation if you're coming on a weekend. The staff was friendly -- maybe a little too friendly -- as my server was busy chatting with another table, and I had to wait to get his attention to place my order and again to get the bill.
